Folks bring their water containers and fill them up; much cheaper than the water delivery companies. This place also sells a variety of water containers. But they also sell Thrifty ice cream. They have a freezer full of take-home containers or you can choose from a dozen flavors and have them scoop you a cone or cup. I got a scoop of chocolate malt crunch. The single scoops are big and cheap (I think it was $1.25). YUM! None of the Rite-Aid stores near me scoop Thrifty ice cream any more so this is a real treat. This water store is a clean establishment with extremely reasonable prices per gallon. I loved many aspects of this place but aside from being "purified & fresh" there isn't much more information posted on the type of filtration system they use. Though, I'm sure the kind gentlemen behind the counter will tell you if you remember to ask :) I'll be happy to come back to fill up the 3 gallon jug I purchased on location. Not only that but I will be taking my kiddies here for a scoop or two of ice cream when warranted. It's definitely a peculiar mix but the set up works. *Reverse Osmosis, eh?* I typically go here once a week to fill up my 5 gallon bottle, cuz the Arrowhead, Sparklets, or whatever other water people there are too expensive. It's a roomy store that sells water bottles, and most importantly THRIFTY'S ICE CREAM!!!!!! Now you figure that since this is a water store they'd sell just water, but NOPE they sell Thrifty's Ice cream. It's a little bit more than what Rite Aid charges, but damn it if they have my flavor and I'm on a water run then I'll get some ice cream!!!!! One other thing that this place sells is cell phones. Yes, that's right. I'm not sure if the only ones they sell are Boost Mobile, but that's the only one I really see. Oh, and for those of you who might find interest in this they also sell phone cards. I think most of them are mainly for Mexico and other Central American countries. This staff is cool, and the owner is really chill too. He always smiles, and says hi. One thing that I might add is that the parking directly in front of the building is VERY TIGHT. It's as if they were made for compact cars, so be cautious when parking there. They also have a 24 hour vending machine outside. So if you happen to miss store hours (like I have a number of times) then you can still fill up your water bottle and not get in trouble when your mom asks you to do so but you forget and not realize it till it's late and you freak out cuz the last time you forgot she gives you that cold stare and you feel bad cuz now there's no water at home so now people in the house can't drink and then you end up feeling bad then she ends up scolding you and you keep replying "Yes, I'm sorry....I forgot.....it won't happen again...ok ok ok I'm sorry!!!!!" This place is 15 minutes away (kinda far for just buying water) but it's worth the drive rather than me going to a place that's only 5 minutes away. I go here about once a month to fill up 28 gallons of water for about $7 (.25 a gallon). Wife actually likes "the taste" of the water (she's a Dasani, Fiji, and Smart Water only gal). I can't tell the difference and I'm not sure how they filter/purify the water but for you fellow water connoisseurs, this water is decent. Customer Service: Vinnie's a real nice guy and knows his drinking water. I went in to fill up 8 containers that were 3.5 gallons each. He not only helped me fill up my containers but used some water to rinse each of them out prior to filling (small act that shows me he's not only helpful but NOT stingy... it's the little things that count). I mentioned to him I was preparing for the apocalypse :) (or any disaster for that matter). He advised me to use bleach and a pool testing kit to get the right amount of chlorine for storage up to 5 years (untreated water in storage is only safe to drink within a year). Also to place a tarp over the containers to block light. Verified his recommendations on Google - spot on! Price and Quality: As mentioned above, my very own water connoisseur (wife) digs this water. At $0.25 a gallon and vending machines outside, you can't beat this unless you get the same quality and service for free elsewhere. I love this place. Ever since I moved to Norwalk my family has been coming to this place for water needs, and now that we have a filter for the faucet i still find myself coming here for there delicious boba's. I swear if you are in the area come here and try the Watermelon Boba, I don't know what the owner does but he has the best sweet watermelon boba i have ever tasted that has me coming back. I only come here for the rite aid ice cream and I have to say it's by far my favorite place to get it at. Whatever temperature they set it at makes the ice cream perfect. Its not melting in my hands by the time I pay which is nice and I can actually enjoy it. It's convenient and fast. They always have all the flavors and plenty of cake cones.
