But while my husband and I were changing out an empty 5-gallon bottle, we noticed a white, thumb-sized fleck floating at the bottom. At first I assumed it was just a piece of plastic from the cap, so we emptied the bottle to check. To my absolute horror, it was a slug. We had been drinking water from that bottle for the past week with a SLUG floating in it. I gagged immediately. It was absolutely disgusting and alarming. Another reviewer mentioned finding a paintbrush and pencil at the bottom of their bottle, and I wish I found that than this. How sanitary is their bottling and quality control process if a slug can end up inside a sealed bottle unnoticed? I'm still sick over it. I wish I had taken a picture, but I was so disgusted that I immediately dumped it down the sink. Going to refill my own water from now on, at least I can see the cleanliness with my own eyes that way.

Also, they charge you so much for delivery. Then when you cancel (or consider cancelling), they give you a major attitude over the phone and when they pick up their equipment. It's better to stay with PRF and deal with their deliver inconsistencies. At least, PRF compensates you for their mistakes, charges you less than Zutra, and have courteous customer service.

I wasn't aware the company doesn't exist in Arizona. They subcontract their work to any third party that might have plumbing experience. My in laws were in the house 5 days. When the installer came to install the system. He was 3 hours late. That should have been a red flag! He wasn't a licensed plumber. He was just hired a week before. His experience, he was a cabinet installer. He caused a leak that damaged the wall in the garage causing water damage needing Sheetrock repair and paint. To date, they have not sent anyone to execute this repair. The installer did not have all the necessary parts to install and had to run to Home Depot several times for plumbing parts. The owner/salesman Frank is less than honest. Doesn't keep his word and doesn't follow through. In essence, a liar. They push a lifetime warranty and 90 day money back guarantee. You will need it. In my opinion, I would not use or recommend this company. I will be calling Better business and states attorney general to log formal complaints if 100% refund is not provided within 24 hours of this post. I will also dispute with my credit card company.

Folks bring their water containers and fill them up; much cheaper than the water delivery companies. This place also sells a variety of water containers. But they also sell Thrifty ice cream. They have a freezer full of take-home containers or you can choose from a dozen flavors and have them scoop you a cone or cup. I got a scoop of chocolate malt crunch. The single scoops are big and cheap (I think it was $1.25). YUM! None of the Rite-Aid stores near me scoop Thrifty ice cream any more so this is a real treat. So if you live in the Cerritos/Norwalk area and want a delicious Thrifty ice cream cone, check out the Drinking Water Store!
