Best water store around. I drive from LAX area, so about 45 miles round trip but it's worth it. I only go every few months so fill about 18 gallons. Great price for alkaline & purified water. Employees are always extremely helpful & friendly. And they have a loyalty card. I've gone to pretty much every water store closer & they're way more expensive but more importantly the alkaline water doesn't taste good. read more

We get our alkaline water here and each time we go, service has been great. They are very helpful and they work fast to get all our bottles filled. Prices are great too. We have glass 5 gallon water jugs and they've been very careful when filling it up for us. They used to sell more glass jugs, but lately I haven't seen them. When you go, make sure to get a punch card! I love it whenever we fill them up and get free water! read more

The sign says they close at 7:30 pm. Got there at 7:00 pm. The girl said they were closed. When I let her know the sign says they close at 7:30pm. She said they ran out of water!!! She could have said the machine was broken instead of lying. read more

Recomiendo. read more

Alex is amazing ! He's always working He's HELPFUL! to the nines every time my husband and I have gone Alex always even as busy as he may get greets us in and gets our jugs rinsed and pumping right away. Alex And Jesse are your Guys! Weekend as busy as it is if you want great service those are the days. Thank you Guys! Note: there is someone on weekdays a guy with glasses short and very talkative he's not helpful at all he tends to pull out his phone and look busy and only comes close to show off about his life it's really weird, he acts like a business man and that he's in real estate bla bla.. last time I did need help with my jugs being pregnant and all I asked if he could help me load them he made a frown and pursed his lips as if it was way too much of a request, this guy doesn't work much other than running his mouth. Just thought I should mention. read more

Downey Water Store - Water Jugs Full Thanks Alex Thanks Jeese - Water Delivery Near Me - Downey, California

I was looking for a place that sold Kangen water and I found this place! If you guys don't know what that is it just means that it's alkaline water that is fresh! I bought a 3 gallon jug and The girl working there filled up the water for me! She was also sweet enough to take the water to my car for me! I have to say a 3 gallon water was $5.50 and I have to say that is a really good price! They also have a punchcard so after a few time do you get free water! read more

My usual water store was closed for renovations. The regular purified water does not have any weird smell or aftertaste. The price is affordable. No complaints there. For 3 gallons of purified water, four jugs came out to $3.60 at $0.90 each. Service is nice and extremely helpful. A few cons... - any charge to a card under $6 has a $0.35 processing fee assessed - limited parking & funky parking lot - bottle caps are not sanitized or replaced like at the other place - the store itself is in disarray Downey Water Store is definitely a good backup plan in hindsight. read more

This review is based on my visit yesterday , I've been here a few times but the employee at the store today didn't seem like he was in the greatest mood . Had a few questions about the water , he told me that this store version of spring water is half regular and half alkaline, the kangen water only comes from the small white tube . He seemed kind of irritated so I wasn't going to press the issue and ask more questions , but I'd suggest putting up a chart explaining the different type of water just in case the employee doesn't feel like explaining . read more

I like to support local mom n pop shops. The owners are super nice! Of course the workers are hit or miss, but overall price of water and quality is well worth coming here. They have weekends specials and sell some random Indian products which are Ayurvedic. read more

Was my first time and it was not too bad. They had 4 Kangen machines which was awesome! They have delivery options and already had a lot of filtered water ready to go! The Kangen water was a little expensive at $1.75 per gallon which is the most I've ever paid for 5 gallons or more but I was in the area and thought I would give them a shot. The kid that worked there really didn't know much about water or even the prices which was odd. I'll maybe come back if I'm in the area. read more

I love coming here for my alkaline water or simply purified. The prices are fair and reasonable. They have a punch loyalty card.

I came here a few days ago from reading the great reviews. The young woman who helped me was so kind. Great prices and alkaline water is awesome. Feels great to support local businesses. read more

I would give 10* if I could. I discovered them about 3yrs ago when I went to straight alkaline water & drive from LAX to get my water. That's an hour round-trip drive without traffic which should speak to how deducted I am to them! GRRAT PRICE, great service, EXCELLENT WATER. My cat only drinks purified which I also buy there. They have a water club card that after so many gallons you get a free one. I use the 3 gallon containers for the alkaline & make sure they're kept in a dark place to preserve as I dont go but every few months. I tell everyone about them & most people pay so much more money for the fake store alkaline. Get on board people!! read more

Edgar has been one of the most professional individuals I have ever worked with. I have been receiving alkaline water service from him for maybe 4 years now? Incredibly clean installs, always always always waits and checks for leaks after doing maintenance. He is also knowledgeable and a great educator if you're interested in what he's doing and how he's doing it. Having this service throughout the pandemic has definitely made it that much more valuable and also have to mention the water tastes great! Dude is a pro. read more

I purchased a Reverse Osmosis system from Downey Water Store and they also installed it. It was reasonably priced and they did a great job. Impressed and happy with my new unit. read more

I came to get water here because my usual spot was out of water. I think this place is self service but the young man helped me with everything and loaded my car. Great service! It was only less than $6 for three 5 gallon bottles. read more

This place is convenient, there's always parking and Alan is helpful and takes initiative.

I only come here for alkaline water. Great alkaline system. Great tasting water for sure. Not the greatest looking store and employees aren't social. I'm kind of left standing there not sure what to do. read more

I love this place. I been here a year and this is the best water in the city. I drive from van nuys once a week to fill up all my jugs. I won't go anywhere else. Plus when u fill up your jugs you get a coupon for a half priced smoothie next door!! Great smoothies. All organic. Great stuff!!! read more

Good service, fast and to the point. Water is 30 cents per gallon. There is usually always parking right in front. They rinse out your water bottles for you...yay. read more

Hands down the best thing you can do for yourself and your body. Don't think twice about it this water really makes a difference in every way you perceive life. Stay away for acidic and step up to alkaline kangen water. The antioxidants really make a difference in your complexion as time passes by like a wooden boat on a lonely river going through a summers eve on it way to plant Appleseed for the next spring. read more

used to come here years ago, owner was great, moved from Downey. now back and today's service was bad employees was on his cell all the time he did not even offered to help, door gets stuck he doesn't do anything and this also happened 2 weeks ago where employee just sits there not helping at all. read more

I recently discovered kangen Water earlier this year and all the benefits it has for our bodies. I made a switch to a plant based diet as well and my next step was to change my drinking water, I was extremely interested in kangen water however I never thought to see if I can find a place that can sell that specific type of water and from a specific type of water ionizer from Enagic before I purchase the actual machine. After I had some on Tuesday at a water store in Glendale, CA I started to research of anyone had this type of water near my home or even near my business. The best one I found that had what I was looking for was a couple cities away form my home (about a 20min drive) so I made the trip out today before work to get some kangen water. Just have to say it was well worth the 20min drive to come and get my water from here! Some people might think that's crazy but I'm a believer in my health and my body. The guy in the front was super chill and we even had a moment to talk about the water, he even gave me a quick tester on the water by dropping the alkaline color tester to show that it's defiantly dark purple so it's at its highest level of ph. I purchased 2 gallons of water and even bought a regular gallon because I know I easily drink a gallon + of water a day. The cost to fill up is $1.50 which is such a good price for what you're getting. read more

Downey Water Store - Kangen Water aka Holy Water in my eyes. This is the real deal 9.5ph - Water Delivery Near Me - Downey, California

I live nearby and always get my water here. The guys who work here always greet you, wash your water containers and fill them up for you. It's $1.50 for the 5 gallon refills for purified water. They always bring out the containers out to my car and put them in my trunk for me. The only thing that sucks is the tiny parking lot. Kind of difficult to get out of. But it's not a big deal. read more

I was in need of updating my RO water system. I previously had Culligan and due to the age of my system I needed to replace. I called Culligan and they wanted $180 to just knock on my front door. I could not justify that price. I called Downey Water Store (DWS) and spoke with Edgar. He was down to earth, very friendly, and understood that we had an urgent need to replace our system as it had been turned off due to a small leak. He worked us into his schedule and came out a few days later. He installed a five stage system at a price that was very reasonable. I simply appreciated the way he did business with us. We are a residential customer. Nothing complicated. I'm not looking to run filtered drinking water throughout my entire home. Yes you can spend in excess of $2000 for an RO system if you want. That's the price Culligan was going to charge me. I don't need that. My family just needs clean drinking water at a reasonable price. If you're looking for simplicity, good customer service, and fair prices, DWS is the place to go. Thank you Edgar. I appreciate the way you do business. read more

We love Downey Water Store. The quality of their alkaline water is fantastic and you really can't beat the price! Really great place so happy we found it. read more

The people here are always polite. Water is ok but I return here because the people are welcoming.

Shout out to the people who work here! They do a lot of work supplying the water to customers and keeping it clean. Items they sell are 5-gallon jugs, gym bottles, water coolers, and water stands. I've had no problems with this business. I once had a tiny leak in one container that would create a puddle so I called them and they fixed it right away. Highly recommend their service. read more

If you're looking for Kangen water without having to buy the pricey machine this place is it! I'm glad I finally found a business that's very close to home that has it. I also noticed when I leave the kangen water in my water bottle container in my car for like an hour or so, it creates a cool temp and doesn't get hot like other waters do. Fast service, and they have to fill your kangen for you due to the selection on the machine but every other type of water is self serve. Been coming here over 2 months and it's my go to and definitely recommend! read more

I'm so happy there is a place like this around! The price is fantastic, the water is delicious, and the location isn't too far from where I live (I live in Long Beach so it's not close but not far enough to deter me from coming back). Just a little background on me: I quit soda around age 13. It was a personal choice. I was sick of feeling bloated, I had braces, and I had low self - esteem. I'm now 24 years old and probably have had 10 cans of soda in the past 11 years? Not even a can within the past 2? My husband, who I've been with for 6 years, has said he's never even seen me drink soda. I remember throwing out some because I felt crazy sick after. Anyways, I take my water SERIOUSLY. It's all I drink besides unsweetened almond milk with my cereal, coconut water, unsweetened tea, and juice for my nutriblast drinks. I also drink about 3 L a day which the daily recommended amount is 2.2 L. Alkaline water is so important to your body! Not only can cancer not live in an alkaline body but it's amazing for your teeth and keeps disease at bay. To put it in perspective, this water from this place is around a ph of 9. That's excellent. Alkaline water should range from 8-9ish. Drain cleaner is about a 14 (on a scale of 1-14). Your body's natural ph is a neutral 7 btw. Soda, gatorade, and energy drinks have an acidic ph of 2-3! What's a ph of 1? Stomach acid and battery acid! It would take 32 glasses of alkaline water with a ph of 9 to neautralize a 12 oz can of soda! (Daily recommendation is 8). Your tooth enamel starts to deteriorate below a ph of 5.5. No, I wasn't told this at the store. I attended an alkaline water presentation by a certified nutritionist and trainer. The cost of the water here is amazing. I usually buy a gallon of alkaline water for $2.50-$3.00. A regular gallon water at the grocery store is around .80 cents. Here you can buy a gallon for a $1.25. That's a damn good deal! I do want to point out that it is pointless buying this water if you drink soda and energy drinks. Care about yourself and your health and stop drinking those awful things. The only reason you think you can't quit is because of the sugar. Sugar is a real addiction. Water does have a taste. Ever drank arrowhead? read more

Downey Water Store - $20 for the dispensing jug and water - Water Delivery Near Me - Downey, California

I bought the $15 for $25 deal. I thought it was for anything, but it's only for the water and not the jugs which was cool. I need water more than I need jugs. I got an actual demonstration on testing the ph balance of the water we drink. I thought that was very cool. Who knew you could go and buy water and ask for a ph balance test to be done on that water. I am not in Downey, but I will be going there more often for my water from now on until they talk me into buying my own system for my house. read more
