So our dryer broke about 2 to 3 weeks ago so I have had to go here a few times to keep our clothes washed and dried. The staff is always friendly and helpful, they have quite a few washing machines though there are a few broken ones and at least one that can't get hot water but works otherwise. The whole back wall is dryers which seems like plenty and would be if it were not for inconsiderate people. Most days I have gone managed to be a weekday so no bad. This last visit was on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed. Barely found a parking spot, but my big issue was the dryers. So many had clothes sitting in them, the cycle done but no one taking care of it. Not a great look when it is not busy but when it is so busy there are no open ones do better. I wish the laundromat had some kind of rule or did something if it is sitting there too long, at least when it is this busy. But otherwise it was fine. None of the TV's have ever been on, though that is one of the selling points on the wall. The first visit back in 2019 had one of them going. Since then not at all. They do sell cans of soda, water, and chips if you are going to be there for a while. read more

I used to really like this place. It was so clean and well taken care of; it wasn't like laundry was ever fun, but it was definitely okay at Washatopia. I come here frequently because of their big machines but now some of the same machines week after week have the same issue with no hot water or only can run on the light cycle. At least 1/2 the dryers are full of clothes someone has left, the floors are dirty, and there is so much lint dust. The staff are busy doing laundry but are helpful when needed. The customer service has not changed, it is still top notch. Bottom line, weekends are messy. I'll try to stick to during the week and that might help. read more

I had the awesome experience of going to Washatopia!! The owner, John explained how to use their MANY machines. They have a LOT of sizes from double capacity, triple capacity, quadruple capacity...they even have machines that can do the equivalent of 8 loads of laundry at once!! & there are some differences in how you use them from your machines at home, & John explained that! I have a giant capacity residential machine but when I have guests I have 4 sets of linens and comforters to wash. This was taking a whole day at home. Less than an hour to wash & dry at washatopia! Wash time only 30 minutes (Today I was doing 2 Queen sized comforters & used 2 quadruple capacity machines at $6 each & Drying time is shortened in these large dryers, so 30 minutes for $1.96 per dryer. I used 2.) You also don't need quarters!! You preload a wash card & you use on all the machines. I'm looking forward to coming back! read more

Amazing service! I came in to get several sets of bedding and linens washed for my mother. Her skilled nursing facility was not going to get to them in a timely manner. Not only was the turn around less than 12 hours, the customer service was amazing from beginning to end. The owners were amazingly helpful and caring when taking my items, and Kris messaged me first thing when they were ready and was a joy to speak to at pick up. This is one of the few experiences I've had in years where my service experience didn't just meet the bare minimum, but instead went above and beyond. My dryer went out. I figured this out when my son's clothes has been tumbling all night and we're not hot and smelled like mildew. He was set to go to his dad's so I knew I had to figure out something. I was able to rewash them and then headed to the laundry mat. I haven't been to a laundry mat since I was a little girl with my mom so I was a fish out of water. All I could think was is this gonna be like the friends episode where I have a stand off over a basket on wheels. Luckily John was working and he was the saving grace I needed to help me navigate this process. He helped with the card process and suggested the load I had would take two 15 minute cycles. He was right! I have him the $2 and he told me how to use the card and about the machine and really set my mind at ease. Within 30 minutes I had clean clothes for my son and my kid free weekend was saved! The Landry Mat itself is very clean and nice. Plenty of machines and plenty of places to sit and wait. John was so helpful and friendly! I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to knock out their laundry. read more

This is my go to laundromat ever since the first time I came here , the machines are always clean the facility is always clean and the machines don't have that smell like someone just washed a pair of pants filled filled with poop. Everyone including the owner are always nice to me and my children whenever I bring them. My husband and I have been coming here for a little over a year, love that they have complimentary coffee available although I've only made a cup once it's nice to know it's available the dryers work nice and they also leave notes on washers that work but only have cold water or dryers that do not get hot thank you washatopia ! read more

This laundromat is as good as it gets in the area. The facility is large, super clean, and the machines are quick. There is a TV and toy area for children, and free WiFi with coffee for adults. They also provide rolling folding racks which is great! read more

We give a 5-star review thanks to the attendant, Laura!! She knows the machines and how to use them, or in our case, how not to use them. Laura was so helpful and patient from the start, first showing us how to use our credit card to purchase a wash card. It's actually very easy and far preferable to using quarters! We thought we needed the largest machine to wash a fluffy comforter. When the machine did not seem to be working properly, Laura explained that an 85-pound machine was not designed to wash a10-pound comforter. She stopped her work to help us consolidate all of our items into one washer, which meant force quitting our other washer. She saved us money and time! I can't say enough about Laura's helpfulness and kind demeanor. Just can't say enough. About the laundromat. We went to one place closer to our home near Northwest Hills that had good reviews but it smelled so strongly of cleaning antiseptic that just stepping inside turned my stomach. We decided to drive the 7-8 miles to Washatopia, given the many positive reviews and card pay option. It's nice not to have to handle dirty quarters. The space is large with plenty of availability at 3pm on a Monday. There are enough washers of all sizes. The space is clean and we had our choice of seats and folding areas. read more

Stopped here to do laundry around 7:00 PM on a Thursday night. Place wasn't that busy, maybe 2-5 others inside, and it was a lot larger than I expected! The nice man working there helped load money into a card, and refunded the deposit at the end of the night. Looked like a very hard worker cleaning every machine, as well as picking up garbage all though the parking lot! For sure would recommend!! read more

The laundromat is fairly big and I didn't have any trouble finding a machine to wash and dry. They have free WiFi to keep you occupied while you wait for your clothes to finish. The CONS: I really hate their card system. They make you put either 10,20,30, or 40 bucks on the card. I only came here in an emergency until my new washer was installed. Yes you were yelling at me and pointing fingers that I need to move my car or you'll be calling the towing company. 3. My car wasn't blocking other vehicles because it was parked by the gravel next to another vehicle and by the donation center container. After years of using the machines myself, I started turning over my laundry for them to do, picking it up a day later, beautifully cleaned, folded to my perfection, sealed in a plastic bag -- and the price was enviable. Service was friendly and helpful. Although I'm not sure how to feel about the reloadable card to use on the machines. (Almost thought I accidentally went to Main Event lol..) It's def good to not have to use coins and if you're a frequent customer but otherwise it's an extra card that you might not even use all the funds. I went in yesterday around noon to wash some items. Place is clean, but wearing masks is not mandatory. Worker and customers walking around with no masks. I should have gone earlier, maybe less people would have been there, but I really wish they would enforce masks. There weren't even signs on door to wear masks. The facility is always as clean as it can be...some times of day are super busy where every seat & washer & dryer are occupied and while they only have the one restroom it's well kept. They have coffee for the folks and a little tv area that's meant mostly for kids and they have movies they cycle through. I tend to go early to avoid the crowds yet sometimes it's unavoidable and it's still an amazing staff with a great attitude and work ethic. read more

I dropped 3 months of clothes off to be laundered because my washer and dryer broke and are being replaced at my apartment.
