My washing machine started flashing codes like gang signs, so off to the laundromat I went. I picked The Big Clean since it's close to home and had solid reviews. Last load is at 8:30 PM every day. They've got single, double, triple, four, six, and ten load washers. The ten load machines are the best value, but there are only two of them, so plan for that. They also have two big dryers, but every dryer comes with a fee schedule that feels like an elementary school word problem. One dollar gets you four minutes to start, then twenty five cents for each additional two minutes. If you want about thirty minutes, you're looking at roughly $4.25. The smaller dryers $.25 for every 2 minutes, so $3.75 for thirty minutes. Getting them started can be a little finicky. (Ask for assistance) Now for the good news. The staff is genuinely kind, and the whole place is spotless. That alone makes the chore a lot less painful. The bathrooms are clean, no code required, and clearly taken care of. I'm pretty sure they offer wash and fold since the employees were constantly folding, wiping machines, or sweeping. The machines that are working run well, and the ones that are down are clearly marked. There's plenty of seating and rolling baskets to help you haul everything around. The only real drawback is the parking. The shopping center is small and the parking lot is even smaller. If you have mobility challenges, small kids, or a ton of laundry, getting a spot might be a pain. They do have WiFi, which is great because cell service in the building is weak. I can see this place turning into a zoo during peak hours, so timing matters. Overall, if I need a laundromat again, I'll be back. read more

It has been many years ago that I used laundromats. But I finally had a couple of big items that were in need of a good cleaning. I had passed by BIG CLEAN on Mays St, Round Rock. As I remember from college days laundromats were usually ugly, grimy, and felt vulnerable. When I went into Big Clean I was shocked. The place was bright. clean had a/c running. Lots of washers and dryers all worked!!! It was a total opposite from what I was dreading about going to a laundromat. It was amazing. Even though it seemed crowded was able to find a washer and dryer available and was in and out within an hour. Restrooms and facility were cleaned and kept well. Employee seemed friendly and was seen constantly walking around cleaning or assisting. All in all it was a good experience and got the job done, no complaints here except for the parking, which was small and shared with the family dollar next door so it got full fast. read more

5 star service and 3 star facilities! The people who work here are SO nice and hardworking. I was here for 2 hours and the whole time they were taking calls, cleaning, helping customers, and organizing the space. Awesome! They were all super friendly and helpful. The facilities themselves are pretty expensive for what you get. Many of the machines have mold growing in the traps (see picture). The vending machine only offers a few soap options and they're pretty expensive. The cheapest washers are $3.50 for a small load, which is pretty expensive and my clothes still came out with dirt on them. The dryers work well and cost $0.25 every 3 minutes, taking about 25 min to dry a large load. read more

Great place! The overall environment is relatively calm with the exception of the white noise from the machines and its very spacious and kept incredibly clean. Each time I've been here, I've seen the friendly staff actively keeping the space clean. It's also nice that there is always someone here who can help or answer questions. There's multiple size washers and dryers and good seating options, free wifi, and tvs to watch. You can use coins or card which is really convenient. Most days it's easy to get in and use multiple washers at once, however, I came on a Sunday and decided to come back on a less busy day. They also have wash and fold services, and pick up and delivery with door dash. The people who come here seem to be good folks and I am comfortable walking away from the machines without worrying about theft. Really good modern option for laundromat. read more

I have been coming here for over 5 years now and have always enjoyed my experience until today. I was asked to leave my service dog outside. I have to have her with me at all times. It clearly states that service animals are allowed on the front door. Everything else about the place is great. I know the employee working today is newer so maybe this will clear up the next time I'm here. Otherwise, the facility is clean, bathrooms are clean and the place generally lives up to its name! Tried out this place for a small load because of their website promises that its clean, cool, and they have convinient payment methods (credit/coin/cash). Ended up spending $9 in total (6 for washing 3 for drying). They did love up to their promises above and all machines were functional. They even have decent restrooms. What surprised me most is that it gets pretty crowded around 5pm, with lots of noisy kids running around, corpulent folks, construction workers, rednecks, and hippies. All the machines are card accessible, feels spacious and very modern. The sign is a bit small and hidden, the parking lot is shared with a dollar general but once inside you won't find a problem finding a machine. There's so many, considering the size, overall it's clean and nice! read more

After a month of not being able to get in contact with any management about an issue regarding a refund. Finally receiving a call over a month later from Nikki just to be treated like a liar and had the entire situation flipped on me. Specifically minorities and people of lower income rely on facilities like these. This having being one of the nicest I've ever been to just to completely be treated like shit by Nikki ! This is the problem with white washed facilities in lower income communities. By the way nikki put emphasis on not having any black employees working, was made quite clear and by the tone you (Nikki) had with me on the phone made it even more clear where you stood. So please Nikki go check your cameras at the MLK location on September 8, let's see who's right . This is my first and last YELP review about a laundromat because who wants to hear some schmuck talk about a laundromat, right? Right. But seriously, this is the nicest, cleanest, brightest, newest feeling laundromat I've ever been forced to go to because my apartment complex laundry room is dirty, broken down and lacking enough equipment (working or non) for two duplexes, much less 9 buildings. I digress.... I've never felt relaxed doing laundry outside my home before. This place is immaculate and the staff is ridiculously nice and helpful. I had a billion loads of everything I own to do and Antonia helped me keep track of them all. Because I'm...OH! SQUIRREL! Enough rambling. Clean clean clean is not an exaggeration! Our washer broke--in mid cycle, with another ton of dirty laundry waiting its turn as well so I went looking for a laundromat. After seeing the previous reviews we headed here. It is super clean, tons of ways to pay (quarters, Apple Pay, credit card), lots of washer size choices, two Big Ass Fan fans keep the air circulating and the washers were fast. Friendly staff too. There are three associates at work here. Two of which are not an issue. I provided a great deal of patience to this asso when requesting assistance on a machine. I did so believing that this associate was disabled based on her inability to comprehend simple questioning. She provided a blank face. When I questioned her again she stated that she is an employee. She was speaking to her manager. However because I asked again she considered it rude and will no longer help me. She left me standing there and walked away. The machine ate my money and the asso was rude and $&&&& to say the least. The rep was the black women that works in the morning . Steady hours and their drop off service is same day pick up! I hear their prices went up but this was my first time and I appreciated how helpful the staff was. Plan on returning. I refused to take someone else's clothes so I started to name what was in my laundry. The manager said would come up to store and talk to me and NEVER DID. Came here while I wait for my washer and dryer to be delivered. The facility is nice and clean and fully staffed. There are various machine sizes and they all take credit cards and Apple Pay! There is plenty of seating and parking. I deducted a star because there isn't enough folding tables. The free WiFi is a bonus while you wait for your clothes. My washing machine is often unreliable so when I found this place I was stoked. It's always shiny and clean, the equipment is super modern, free WiFi, big flat screen TVs playing shows I actually want to watch, it's spacious and the staff is wonderful! I recently tried their Wash-and-Fold service...GAME CHANGER. It was only $1.09/lb which is the cheapest I've found *anywhere* close to me and the turnaround time was way faster than promised. LISA is the best! She was SO helpful, friendly and even called me when my laundry was ready to be picked up. Their hours are great too. I work nights and therefore can't always manage to get in to ANY laundromat with enough time to tackle all my laundry before closing so their Wash-and-Fold service is a major blessing with busy schedules! I'm a lazy Yelp-er, but after my excellent experience from Lisa yesterday, I absolutely had to give this place the 5 star review its staff and owners deserve! read more

Not only were they able to fit me in twice, but they exceeded my expectations.
