I had 4, 4 load washing machines ready when I walked in and by the time they were done I had 4 dryers ready! I spent $50 and used 5 huge washers and 5 dryers total. So much clothes.... 2 hours of folding. Smells very good inside, they open doors and spray air freshener when people bring in stinky stuff. The floors were swept every 20 mins by another staff member. Trash cans available at the ends of every row Will be coming back & no need to search for any other place. Even when my washing machine is repaired I still want to come here anyways! They offer load & leave services and much more! I'm so shocked by how great my experience was and I'm disappointed this place doesn't have better reviews. I had the best experience washing my clothes at Wash Day. The attendant, Jennifer, was so attentive and helpful. Because the machines don't use coins or tokens, she must explain the process to all the newbies that come in. She does so with a smile and gives a fresh manner (not robotic script recitation). It's rare to find an anyone treat their workplace like their own business. The machines are cleaned daily and lock, so you can go to the taco truck or your car without worrying. In the end, your wash and dry times are tallied and you pay with cash or credit. Super convenient. I actually am looking forward to the next time I have to do this chore. read more

After years of coming to have use of the laundry services, they have finally priced me out. The 1.75 a lb for washing and folding means it is time to invest in a new washer and dryer. With a 10 lbs minimum, it becomes even less affordable. Guess I could drop off on Mondays for the 1.35 special and be late for work, but bidenomics has taken it tool on all. read more

Martha is rude and unhelpful. Doesn't look you in the eye when asking for help. This establishment offers a service where they will put your clothes in the dryer for you for an additional fee. Martha refused to provide this service as advertised. She told me she was "too busy, again not looking at me in the eye. The ladies at the Brodie location are much more kind and helpful. Half of the laundry room, dryers and washers, were occupied. On the Saturday that I went, it seemed as if the employees were washing for high volume customers. I asked the attendant if there was a way to remove items from dryers that were finished since their owners had not come back for them. She didn't hesitate to help me in getting a dryer. i needed to go to a laundromat to wash my huge bed spread. i wanted to recommend this place. i ended up showing up an hour before closing time and the owner gloria was super sweet and insisted i get it done anyway and helped me with how to do it. i also ended up not bringing enough quarters and a super nice customer lent me some. gloria stayed open a little longer when she didn't need to to help me! the place is also super clean and upstat. and she will bag up you're clean laundry. highly recommend if you ever need a laundromat! read more

As a business owner sitting here on a Sunday due to my washing machine going out, I am at a loss for words on the way I have been treated by this female attendant. I came I last week to wash a comforter and paid with my debit card with no problem. Today when I handed her my card I was told that she only takes cash and there was a $20 minimum for credit cards, so when I reminded her about my visit last week and asked why she took my card last week and I asked why there was a sign that said cards were accepted and I didn't see a minimum for cards, she called me a liar!! I offered to show her the charge online but when I did, I got some a dirty look and she walked away!! Does she realize we pay her wage? I am beside myself and I've never been treated so badly for just trying to pay. To the owner: this lady is no good for your business and has no concept of customer service, and I really feel for the folks that have to use this facility weekly. I'll never be back and make sure all my employees never patronize this business. No one deserves to be treated like this. read more

We used this place when we first moved to Austin. Their service is second to none. When we were helping out a family whose house had been flooded last weekend, one of the things that came up during the cleanup was laundry. The whole bottom level of their house was flooded which included the washer and dryer. We had a ton of laundry to do. The first place I thought of was Wash Day Laundry. I went to their Facebook page and posted that I had a family that really needed some help. Within about two minutes the owner, Jaimie, posted back and said no problem, just bring it in and he would take care of it. It ended up being about 10-12 loads and he did it all for free to help out. This is where I think these guys excel. They are community focused and ready to help. They donate locally and help out during disasters like the flood we had the day before Halloween. I can't thank them enough! The family we were helping was in tears when we brought their clean laundry back to them. They lost so much and having something as simple as their own clothing, towels and blankets was huge in a time of crisis! Thank you Jaimie and Gloria! You rock! read more

There were rowdy family/kids here, running through doors and pretty much...being kids, and the staff did a good job at getting them to calm down (you could tell the mom would've let them run free, which isn't really a great idea around heavy machinery). I've been going here multiple times, very convenient to where I live, the lady who works there, Nohemi has always been very kind to me and helps me when I need it. On occasion I forget how to use the machines and she's always there to help me. She friendly and kind. Mr. Edgar I've gotten to enjoy his company when he works, come to find out they're mother and son. Makes sense they're both hard workers and take care of you. I once stayed a little past closing, but she said not to worry about it, I was relieved. When I asked to redeem the current check-in offer for free dry time, I was abruptly and rudely told "No." I just tilted my head and stared blankly at the attendant. *blink, blink* She went on to say (with an what seemed like an attitude) "They told me no more." Confused, I said ok and asked who told her "no more" and she went on to say that the owners told her not to accept the offer anymore. I told her that the owners need to take this offer down if they aren't willing to honor it. She went on to tell me that they're out of the country and she can't right now. This is really poor business and she didn't have to be rude about it. I would have just left if I hadn't already started my wash. Annoying. I'll travel farther to go to a different laundry mat next time. I haven't been to a laundromat in at least a decade but found myself with a king sized comforter that I needed to wash that wouldn't fit in my machine. This was actually the third laundromat I drove too....The first two just looked sketchy and had some odd folks lingering outside. This place looked much nicer and I found parking right out front. The attendant was very nice and helpful and assisted me with finding a high capacity washer, explaining how much it cost, getting me change for the machine and helping me with knowing what setting to use as well as how much detergent for the larger load. The bathroom was clean and they have a flat screen tv which was on but showing a Spanish soap opera. I was able to use the low heat setting on the dryer and get my comforter cleaned the way I needed. Had to wash my dog's stankin' ass bed. This laundromat is clean, and the commercial washers were available. They have Belly AND you get a sweet Yelp check-in deal (1 free dry). There's a Shipley Donut in the same parking lot which gives you an excuse to enjoy a snacky snack while you wait. They had a tv in there and it was playing Food Network. Awesome! read more

My dryer stopped heating when trying to dry the first load of the torturous weekend laundry chores. Suddenly I was left with many loads of dirty clothes, two loads of wet clothes, and many people who needed clean clothes - stat! I went to my computer and looked for the closest laundry, which was Wash Day right down the road. I wasn't looking forward to sitting in a laundromat for hours. I had chairs to sit in and windows to look out of. Imagine my delightful surprise when I found out they'd do the laundry for me! They charge by weight, so I bagged up everything but the two loads I already started. I plopped it on the scale and determined I had about $26 worth of clothes. Seemed like more than that when I bought it all, but okay. I jumped in the car with my trashbag of garments and headed to the laundry. I was a little nervous taking my clothes to complete strangers that I had found on the internet 10 minutes prior. Still, I needed clean clothes, didn't have a way to wash them, and I hate doing the laundry. It was worth the risk. When I got there the woman behind the counter immediately weighed my sack-o-clothes and it came out to exactly what I had on my scale. Good so far. Then she asked me if I wanted it right away, next day, or by Monday. I didn't need my clothes so bad that it had to be done NOW, but I really like the idea of that. I picked next day (Sunday). If I could wait until Monday it would save even more, but since that was one day longer than I had underwear for I figured it was best to just get it done. I got my claim ticket and headed home. Elapsed time door to door: 15 minutes. Sunday afternoon I headed back to the laundry and see my wardrobe again. This was the longest we'd been apart! Checking out was simple, just pay and they bring a bag of clothes. I didn't check to see if they were my clothes which was okay because they did turn out to be mine after all. I signed up for their frequent customer program just in case, you know, it turns out I like not having to do my laundry. I got home, opened the bag, and there before me were two stacks of neatly folded clothes. Much neater than I ever folded anything. Wow! I had a horrific experience at WashDay Brodie Saturday and I'm still steaming mad on Wednesday. Oh that's how you know its bad! I recently broke my leg in two places. As a married mother of three, it has been hard to keep up with as much laundry as we make. No big deal; until our washer connection decided to spray water in the middle of the night all over my laundry room on Friday. I needed all of it washed fast. I cleaned all day Saturday and planned to go to the Wash Day at 6pm so I'd have 3 hours to do all my clothes. I just moved. I found them online with great reviews except for a glaring one about the attendant that caught my eye. I shook it off. After all those good things surely a few slip ups are to be expected right? Boy was I in for a surprise! My husband and I get there at 6pm sharp. There's no way I could lug in all we had with my broken leg. I quickly find the biggest machines, directed my husband on which we'd be using, and went to get change. They don't have change machines so you have to get it from the attendant. She seemed ok. Not overtly nice but whatever, I'm here to wash, not for smiles. I went back to help my husband sort. We hung the worst ones around the house before we left; mostly we had a lot of catching up to do. I sorted and directed my husband to put loads into the biggest machines making sure to leave ample room in each for aggitation; I want my clothes to have room to move, therefore allowing them to become clean. In my understanding, its how washers work. I started putting soap in the first machine and poured some oxy-clean directly into the wash tub with the clothes. In the process, a LITTLE BIT spilled on the floor. I always clean up my area once I have all my machines going but while I was putting coins, into my first machine mind you, the attendant comes and starts sweeping between me and the machine I was using, muttering about how she , "hates oxy-clean." Hate oxy-clean? Probably shouldn't work with laundry. After sweeping she walks up to the first machine, as I insert coins into neighboring washers, and complains to me that I overstuffed the 6-load washer. It was already washing a large load of darks. Unless you're Superman, there's no way you could tell if I left enough room once the door is shut and it's going. I reassured her there was room. I know how we can get attached to machines we use everyday- no trouble. I ended up using one 6 load machine, three 4-load machines, and a regular machine for some delicates. I split the larger loads in two and used 8 dryers. Any one doing math yet? That's some serious $$. At this point its 8pm. My husband went to the gas station next door for coffee. Some of my clothes finished, not all, but almost every dryer was done. I was sitting in the corner in front of the tv, next to the dyers, folding my clothes while waiting on my husband and the other clothes to finish. My oldest son was at a friends house and I was texting his friend's mom making quick plans, when I noticed the attendant circling me like a shark as she swept. I looked at my phone, 8:09pm. The attendant made on more circle around me, and noticed my last dryer was finished. She quickly apporached me, and told me the floors were being sanitized that night and I would have to leave as soon as possible. She then turned the tv off and walked off. In amazement I texted my husband that we were being kicked out and to return as soon as he could. Regardless of what the dryer door said, my clothes were in deed, not dry! Being kicked out of a laudomat after spending around $50, with wet, unfolded clothes is an absolute outrage! The doors say they are to remain unlocked until 9pm. She couldn't have warned me, when she saw me hobble in with all those clothes that this was going to be happening that night? No. She waited until I spent all the $ I was going to spend and kicked me out. Needless to say, I was not happy as I scooped my half dry, unfolded clothes into my largest sheets but I didn't say a word to the attendant. My husband arrived to find the side door locked! He had to go around by the front desk to carry our clothes out even though our van was parked by the other door. I'm sure that sweet heart attendant noticed and wanted to make our lives as easy as possible. Bless her heart. As I got up to leave I asked the attendant if I could have the owners name and number. With the ugliest scowl I have ever seen on a person's face, she told me it was, "on the door" and brushed so close past me that I literally thought she was going to knock me over. At that point, I had had enough, and told her to "have a nice night you rude witch." I'm sure that taught her a real lesson. I'm not wasting my time calling a number she probably answers. Best laundry in the area! My washer is currently down so I have had to come twice in the past week to keep up with the family wash. I LOVE the fact that you can pay the girl $5 to move stuff from washers to dryers so you dont have to wait around, VERY nice feature. And this place is always clean and looks well-kept. BUT that is not the reason I chose to write a good review today. The reason you should choose this place over others is the STAFF. I came in this morning and started my laundry, paid the girl the $5 to move the clothes over and left. When I returned she approached me and gave me a $100 bill. I looked at her confused and she told me she found it in my clothes as she moved them to the dryer. Turns out my husband had left some money (that belonged to his employer) in his pocket from a customer that had paid cash and he forgot. AMAZING. She could have taken it and never said a word, I certainly had no idea it was in there, but this woman did the good and honest thing when she didn't have to. I am forever grateful because had she not returned it, eventually we would have had to pay the lost money out of my husband's paycheck. How many places can you find a real honest person? Not many.
