I love this place. The attendant is detail oriented. Professional. And very nice. He'll answer any questions. The washers are always in good working order. Dryers as well. It's nothing fancy but a 5 load washer is only $7.25. And it's done washing in 28 minutes? Yes please. I only come here to wash my 20lb heavy blanket because my household set isn't beefy enough. Dryers are clean. And cheap. 25 cents per 7 minutes. I can wash and dry my favorite blanket in under an hour. With AC. And a convenience store next door. Popeyes in the same shopping center. Come on a non Sunday and the liquor store is open too. Got jewelry you don't need? Do you your laundry here using the cash you get from the pawn shop on the corner. Uber convenient. Walgreens, Pollo Rico, and smoke shop are only across the street too. Wowzers. This place is South Austin at it's core. Love washing here. read more

Very rude employee. I came to laundry my clothes and just had to wait for my mother to bring the money and the lady was telling me that there this lady that just got here and need it the laundry to either take it out or start the machine I told her I was just waiting for some money and she said that the other lady had her clothing and everything ready so that she give me 5 min to take it out but 5 min haven't even pass and she was already telling me to take it out very bad service and this is not the first time it happens and when we try to complain to the owner they just don't do nothing. it not the first time I come here and they treat me bad and it always the same lady and she not only been rude to me or my mother but to other costumer too if I could I would give no stars read more

This laundry facility is pretty great. All the machines are heavy duty commercial. They give my clothes a great wash and it's fast. Come during the week when it's less busy, the weekend is crazy. I'm a huge fan of Burt, one of the employees. He left last year and just returned. I really missed him. He takes a lot of pride in his job and he keeps this place spotless. I enjoy watching him work when I'm waiting for my clothes because of how much pride he takes in his job. He's also very friendly and kind. The hours are great. The prices are great and the variety of machines are great. I became a minimalist a few years ago and decided to sell my washer and dryer at home. I come here once every two weeks and have made this my home laundromat. read more

I have gone to several laudromats in south Austin and this is definately my favorite. Although the staff doesn't always speak fluent English, they are very helpful and constanly clean the place.... They even go around and clean out the detergent pockets on every machine throughout the shift... It gets out the previous person's bleach so your clothes don't get ruined. All the machines work, all the time. There are also many choices for load sizes. The detergents are a bit overpriced, but I always bring mine with me so that's not a problem! Clean, convenient, consistent, cost-efficient. Plus, there are multiple change machines, several arcade games and multiple flat screens up on the walls! Tho... They're usually on Spanish channels, haha. Love this place. read more

Decently clean place. Washers take card, but the dryers only take quarters and there isn't an on-site atm to get cash. And staff looks at you like you're stupid if you ask them about it. The dryers are also crazy expensive. $.25 gets you FIVE minutes. That's just ridiculous. The dryers at my apartment's laundry room (which were down, hence my visit here) cost $1.50 for 60 minutes. Adding extra quarters gives you 15 minutes. The dryers here are nuts! I just stood there in disbelief when I was adding more quarters. Staff is pretty unfriendly. Didn't even smile at me when I smiled at them. The only good thing, in my opinion, is the giant washers. Everything else could have been better. And cheaper! read more

Very clean and well maintained. Lots of machine choices from 1 load front washers to huge 8 load front loaders. I always come here when I need to wash my comforters and quilts. Parking spots are tight, but don't let this deter you. read more

My pet store uses the Wash & Fold service. Pricing is competitively low. My laundry always smells amazing and looks pristine upon pick up. Spectacularly difficult to do with all the different pet smells. Thank you ladies for working so hard, so I don't have too. read more

When error occurs nobody is ever around to help. Had to wait longer than my clothes washed/dried/folded until a worker said she went to lunch. LEAVE A SIGN. LEAVE A NUMBER. Place is always clean and tons of washers and dryers. The employees are a different story though, the women that work there are always rude with a mean mug on they're face you ask for change they act like your bothering them, you use the sink they tell you to hurry up because they need to use it. They're attitudes are always terrible. read more

The staff was nice. There were plenty of washers and dryers. That's about the extent of the nice things I can say about this place. This was my first time at a laundromat, and I won't be going back. Not only did it take forever to get my clothes modestly dry (after running the dryer 4 times) but one of my nicer work shirts now has bleach stains and what looks to be an oil or grease stain. I think I've only worn this shirt twice and now it's ruined. read more

If you need to do your laundry, you just gotta go here to CT's. Even if you went for no other reason than to see Bert, it'd be well worth your time. He is the most professional and hilarious individual you could ever meet. The owner is an extremely nice man who is very, very courteous and professional. I've accidentally loaded clothes incorrectly and had some issues and he was super prompt at fixing them even though they weren't his fault...they were all mine. He's the nicest little asian man you could meet. I get a dozen loads of clothes washed and dried in like 90 minutes! And if I have to leave, I never have to worry about anyone stealing my clothes as they have cameras eeeeeverywhere! Super great place for sure! read more

Amazingly clean. Read the two reviews here, and decided to give this place a try. There are washing machines for 1, 2, 4, 6, and 8 loads. Prices are reasonable. Very few people when I went. Out of all the laundromats that I have been to in Austin, this is by far my favorite. note: have gone during the weekend nights when this place is slammed. I like that they have those old arcade games for entertainment and vending machines. They also have a change machine. Doesn't close at 11 went by got there at 9 and when I was almost finished unloading guy ran out to say we are closed the sign said ten and I only needed to wash which typically take 30 minutes max......... needless to say first and last experience with them!!!!! read more

Now THIS is the kind of place I want to wash my laundry in. Somewhere that's clean, somewhere that the prices are set right, where the machines are working...all the time. It's like a laundrymat goers little piece of heaven. The little Asian couple that owns the place are always somewhere around and are always friendly. They want to make sure every one is happy. Happy is what I always am with the place. I never feel like I have to rewash something if I accidentally drop it on the floor. I never feel like it's a gamble when I drop my change in if I'm going to get a working dryer. The BEST laundry mat around. I keep migrating back. I will quit trying to go anywhere else! read more

I went to C T Laundry today for the second time. I went there several weeks ago after reading all the good reviews on Yelp. I had several large comforters that needed washed, and I didn't want to pay $20 to $30 each to have them dry cleaned. I honestly cannot remember the last time I had been to a laundromat. They have always kind of made me nervous (they seem kind of creepy, and are often in sketchy strip malls). C T Laundry is awesome, though, and has completely changed my opinion of laundromats! It is very clean, well lit, not creepy at all! They have a ton of machines that can wash anywhere from 1 load to 8 loads. I used the "4 load" machine for my large blanket. I probably could have used the 2 or 3 load machine, but wanted to be sure I didn't overload it. $3.75 for 23min wash, and about $1.50 to dry, and I could fit both my large blankets in one dryer. I did all my pillows in the 8 load machine, and got them all in one dryer. So when I once again found myself needed to wash my blankets, I headed there again, and had the same experience. Now I don't need to worry about getting my "nice" blankets dirty, because I know that I can spend under $10 and under an hour and have them as good as new! Both time I went about 8 am Sunday morning. Not crowded at all but picking up by the time I left. The only thing negative I can say is that it was kind of cold this morning. 30 degrees outside and if they had the heat on it was low. But I'd rather be chilly than too hot, which could easily happen with all those machines. Oh, and Yelp says no Wi-Fi, but one of the employees saw me playing a game on my phone and made a point to tell me they had free Wi-Fi if I wanted. Bottom line....if there are any scared laundromat "newbies" out there....fear not! Head to C T Laundry with no worries and leave with clean clothes, or sheets, or blankies, or pillows, or.... read more

I have been going to this laundry for several years and never have I had a problem until last week. I had put my clothes in the washer and placed my laundry basket in the buggy so that I could use it to transfer my clothes from the washer to the dryer easily (which is what they are there for) when suddenly the laundry attendant comes and starts to put my basket and hangers in another crappy buggy that seemed to be falling apart and naturally I ask..."Um excuse me what are you doing?" to which he answers..."The customer outside has a lot of laundry and she needs this buggy to bring her clothes in" (at this point I must say there were maybe a total of three people doing laundry on this day). I kindly responded.."I don't care about that lady or her laundry I am currently using this buggy and she is free to wait till I done with it", he then walked away after giving me a stink face then walked over to another guy behind the counter and proceeded to talk about me. This laundromat is very clean. An attendant is always on hand. I have never run into broken machines or empty moneychanger. It has loads (ha!) of front-loading washers that get your clothes cleaner than top-loaders in less time. You can select a washer that holds 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and even 8 loads of laundry, if you're willing to wash them on the same setting. Takes about 23 minutes to wash 2 or 3 loads. Dryers are very large. You can get 6 loads into one dryer. My only complaint is there's no wifi. read more
