Great laundromat friendly helpful staff pretty straightforward the owners invested in quality machines that aren't always busted so you should only need to ask them for change or soap unless your dropping off your laundry for them to wash but they are very busy with that especially early in the week not overpriced like all the ones more inner city and the east side where you gotta worry about getting stabbed, robbed, or your car broken into VERY CLEAN place new machines and staff that's cool and welcoming in this rapidly growing city places like this are pretty rare definitely an old Austin vibe read more

I went on a Saturday afternoon/evening to wash a large sized blanket. There were plenty of washers and dryers available. The oversized machines worked out perfectly. There's a coin machine to exchange money, but I brought my own quarters. For an extensive wash, it was $7-8 a load. $2-3 for drying. Last time I was there, the lady at the front desk was very nice. You do see all types of people there. I'd recommend going during earlier hours when more people are there. read more

The only issue I have had with Quick Wash has been trying to get my laundry done first thing when they open. I have been here five times and two of the times when they should have been open, they weren't. The first time I got there just after 7:00 and the person opening pulled in behind me and said they had forgotten their keys. They opened around 7:30 that day. The other time I arrived around 7:15 and no one was there, so I left and came back at 8:00 and no one was there, but people were waiting in their cars and at the door for someone to open. This is the worst place to get your clothes washed. I got my uniforms washed though them and they ruined 2 pairs. I was so upset when I called and asked how we could fix this. I called to ask why they didn't tell me this when I went to pick them up. They than told me an elaborate story on how "it's not my fault what comes in your clothes" there was no apology they didn't even tell me when I went to pick up the clothes! I called this morning and spoke to the bright and cheerful Nora, the amazing young woman at the front counter. Our reunion was like we had never missed a beat! Nora's morning service and Benita's afternoon service are always top notch. I would recommend them any day of the week to care for your laundry needs. Divide your laundry as you see fit, write out instructions for each pairing (clothes, towels, bedding, etc.) and let them know exactly how you need them washed. I used to bring my clothes here all the time. But lately I have started using other laundromats due to many of the machines being unavailable due to laundry service orders or broken. The number of broken machines is a bit ridiculous for a business that is solely based on washers and driers. I was never told that I could wash my own laundry there. They was there asking how they could hep me when I come to do my laundry. I told them I had laundry I wanted to wash and they just said leave it there and their text me when they are done. And they wouldn't allow me to use my own detergent. (And let my guess they charge extra for that, which doesn't make any sense when I got my own detergent). That washed and fold service cost me about $12 and I didn't even want to pay for that. And I don't even like to make another trip over there, and I don't have a car and have to take the bus over there. I was only there because both the laundry and dryer and my old apartment was broken. I was expecting to pay $1.50 to was my clothes and the $1.50 to dry my clothes and wanted to use my own detergent. I later found out you could wash and dry your own clothes and I never knew that. I mean there could of been a miscommunication, but they could of asked and made sure I wanted this wash and fold service. I also found somebody else's old rag in with my laundry. read more

It's a laundromat. But sometimes you have to go so you can wash your dog beds that won't fit in your machine. Here's the breakdown: Silver HE Machines: capacity and cost 6 loads $6.75 4 loads $4.50 3 loads $3.75 Can use pods or powder but these you put in the machine with the clothes directly. Liquid you'd pour in the appropriate slot. White HE Machines: capacity and cost 2 loads $2.75 No pods. You must open them up and squeeze them in the tray if you are like me and chose the wrong washer and all you brought was pods. (Next time I will do one 4 load washer with 4 pods, that's the ticket). Single load machines: $2.00 The silver machines seem the best buy. They also seem to spin the clothes almost totally dry. My dog beds were still dripping wet when they came out Change machine can change $1, $5, $10, $20 Pepsi machine $.75 but has Dr Pepper too. Dryers 7 minutes for $.25 A lot of the machines are occupied by the businesses ' own Wash & Fold service which means it's less crowded with people but you may struggle to find open machines. Only 6 wheely carts in the place so be warned. Luckily I just had three dog breeds but if you were washing a month's supply of baby socks, you may struggle getting them from the washer to the dryer without a cart. read more

I figured with the amount I brought it would be next day pick up but 3 hours later they text me to let me know my clothes were ready! When I arrived Nora recognized me and brought my clothes out. All the reviews on this place are a lie! I just came from here and this place is nasty, dirty, small, the washers and dryers suck, AND someone took my detergent! The staff at Quik Wash are so helpful, friendly and pros at what they do! My laundry has the softness I get from doing it myself but looks so much better! I cannot recommend them enough. The husband and I have had a very eventful past few months. We moved from an apartment with washer and dryer connections to an apartment that had a washer and dryer in the unit - so we sold ours. Shortly after, we moved back to the first apartment. We need to find a new washer and dryer, but in the meantime, we had gigantic piles of laundry that needed to be done. I was going to take our laundry to a place over off of Brodie, simply because I had been there once before to clean our comforters. Since I have started Yelping like a maniac, I decided to check Yelp and see if there was a place with good reviews closer to our apartment. Lo and behold, I saw that Quik Wash was highly rated, right down the street and had a Yelp deal. Yes please!! I headed over and went in to talk to the staff. There are several choices for walking out with clean laundry at this place. You can wash and dry it yourself, get it started and pay them to transfer your clothes to the dryer or just drop off everything and come back later in the day to perfectly clean clothes. I had a lot that I wanted to get done that day, so I chose the later. I purchased the Yelp deal and brought in my clothes as well as the detergent, fabric softener and dryer sheets that I like to use. They gladly used my products and washed/dried everything the same way I would have myself. I also brought in hangers for my shirts. They called me when my laundry was ready. I went in to pick it up and pay. Wow! Not a single wrinkle anywhere. Our t-shirts were folded - and if I could fold this well, we wouldn't need so much closet space! I am just so impressed with the quality. The service didn't seem to cost that much more than if I had spend hours in the laundromat doing all of this myself. I highly recommend this place. My dryer was slowly dying and also having injured my arm, my dominant arm at that, I was way behind on my laundry. And then, my dryer died. I started looking around for a laundromat and was not looking forward to paying a lot to do tiny loads (all I can handle with my injured arm.) A co-worker told me that some laundromats will wash your clothes for you, you just drop off the dirty clothes and pick-up fresh, folded clothes later that day. Life-changing. I had no idea. So, I joined Yelp, got a yelp deal to use and here I am with a whole bunch of clean laundry to put away, hahaha. The woman there this morning helped me bring my stuff in, and the woman in the afternoon helped me load my truck, as well. --If you drop off before 10 a.m. you'll get a text that day letting you know your items are ready. If you drop off after 10 a.m. it may be the next day that you'll receive your text. There are vending machines, ample parking and a few food places and a starbucks right there if you want to do your own laundry and maybe get a drink or a snack. They even have cool retro arcade games! Their prices are quite low, too, everyday, not just once a week. I am planning on having all my laundry done here; I probably won't be buying a new dryer, this seems cheaper to me, considering the cost of maintaining machines, the utility bills, detergent etc. not to mention my time. This place is great. We dropped off two hampers of laundry and got it all back the next day neatly folded and very clean. They went the extra mile by hanging our work clothes up and air drying my husband's bike clothes. The cost for laundry service here is about ten bucks more than doing a crappy job yourself at a laundromat.
