It's old and run down. The machines are grimy with old soap residue. Many are just trashy. The AC didn't seem to work, nor could the WiFi so I sat in my car. It doesn't take credit cards or Apple Pay so you need cash to get quarters from the machine. Also no vending machines for soap. However they had stuff in a box that were $1 etc. Bench seating for while you sit. I also found it dirty. Dust and first along with orphaned clothing. I took my damp clothes out of the dryer after the first run and they dried faster in the Texas sun than in the dryer. They should level it and rebuild with something that is more 2026 than 1972. read more

Best laundromat option in the area, hands down. No frills and small, but the machines work and it's clean inside. While traveling for work, I found myself staying an extra week. Laundry needed to be done, I looked up a few places and this one had the most consistent and current positive reviews. It's an older and simple laundromat, However; the customer service inside is what sets it apart. I haven't had to use a laundromat in at-least 20 years. I went in to see how i could pay for it. A man comes over, assuming the owner. I asked, "coin only?"he replies yes, and says but we have a change machine. OK,cool let me go grab some cash. He stops me and says no need, I can load the machine with coins and you can pay via card through his app when the laundry is done. Great! i grab my laundry from the car, bring it in, he then asked if I needed any soaps. yes, please. he puts in laundry soap, adds the coins and starts the machine. He says if you would like to go about your business and come back, I can move your laundry to the dryer. He then tells me exactly how long the wash takes and wishes me a nice day. I came back to move my laundry because I didn't want certain items in the dryer. He offers me hangers and dryer sheets. absolutely outstanding! I was so taken by "customer service" at a laundromat, that I text my wife back home and a couple of friends. $9 to get two loads washed and dried at the same within an hour. Sold. At first I saw the close to 5 stars, then I called the person who I assume owns the business and he gave me a fair and honest quote. I then dropped it off and when I looked into the man's eyes (owner probably), I got honest and trustworthy vibes. I could just tell that this was going to be a great experience. So I was reading the reviews before coming here and I found it comical yet endearing of all the five star reviews and praise for a laundry mat. But I guess this being my first time ever going to one now I can see why it's important to be happy with your laundry mat. The moment I entered I was greeted by a young lady who told me about the personal service they do. If I am not mistaken, it includes washing and folding, not just folding, and $1 and change for I think each pound of clothes. Next time I go I think I might want to add to that service, especially since I loathe putting clothes up on my hangers. She also told me about the different size washing machines they have and their prices. For less than $3 I was able to wash a laundry bag of shirts, shorts, a couple jeans, lots of socks, undies, some blouses, a mattress cover for a queen bed, one sheet, and 2 pillow cases in the smallest washer they have with still some room to spare. The dryer is 25 cents for increments of 5 minutes?? I can't remember but in only 20 minutes all my clothes were dry! To note, they only take coins but they do have a machine that can switch out your 1s, 5s, and 10s. Also, there is no bathroom and no bathroom next door at the gas station so if you plan on staying there waiting, make sure to go to the restroom beforehand! read more

I've been working in Austin for several weeks and was initially stressed out because my hotel didn't have an operational laundry room. I'm so glad I found this place. I'm giving 5 stars based on the customer service. I walked in here for the first time a few weeks ago, kinda lost because I admittedly don't have a ton of experience with laundromats. The owner (?) came right up and brought me over to the appropriately-sized machine for the amount of clothes that I had. They're coin-operated and I didn't have any quarters, but that wasn't a problem because he keeps a stash of quarters on hand. He quickly started the machine for me and even offered to transfer my clothes over to the dryer if I was planning on returning later for my clothes. I declined because I strictly hang-dry my things. After my load was done (~30min), I simply paid him $3 cash for the quarters and I was done! Also, I can only speak for the triple load washing machines, which do an excellent job of cleaning my clothes. I've never used any other machines there, but it appears that everything is well-maintained. It's a smaller laundromat compared to a few others I've seen, but it has not been crowded or full. This place is relatively easy to get to, just a few minutes from the 35 freeway. Parking has never been an issue. I keep coming back every week even though it's a bit of a drive from my hotel, but I don't mind it for the customer service. I will likely continue to give them my business as long as I'm here for work. read more

10/10 recommend this place. We have a new born puppy and we were just washing comforters and sheets everyday and didn't have time for our own clothes so we decided to go with this place. They charged $1.50 for every pound, they fold your clothes and hung up our nice dress clothes.They even provide their own laundry soap and for the females clothes they have a female fold and wash them! Overall we spent $78 for clothes but left a $20 tip, will be coming back. read more

When I arrived for pick up he brought out all of my clothing and helped load it into my car. As I drove into the parking spot. Saw a guy helping a woman bring here clean bags of laundry to her car. WOW, very nice touch. The guy is a very nice fellow. Complete gentleman. As I gave him my bag of clothes I mention how was vacation. He said you been here before. I said no. I just read a YELP review. He looked puzzle. Couple of hours later I get a text, clothes are ready. Awesome. Fast service. He must be the FLASH; zoom, zoom. The next day he mention the bad review. We talked for a few minutes about the review. He stated that he wanted to show his daughter the importance of hard work. She is a college student and he wants a better quality of life for his child. Great life lesson. If you are doing a drop off, you get no ticket for pickup. Just your phone number; which he writes on a notebook and a big old smile. I don't know how he does it, but when I came in the next day he knew my bag and my shirts on a hanger location. Crazy, but it works for him. No tags. No computer. No tech. Just old school. It is going to be sad when I have to do laundry again in my new house. Maybe I will go to Michael A Laundromat when it is my turn. CC friendly. Parking. Drop off $1.25/lb. Minimum 10/lb. I just want to warn people who might be thinking of doing laundry and working there, Wi-fi is not an amenity there anymore and cell connection is not great, so using a hot spot will likely not work. Amazing services and friendly owner. Due to apartments having such small washer and dryers, I have been going to Michael A Laundromat for over a year to clean my comforter. Always quick, effective service, and reasonably priced. I tend to go on the weekends and the comforter is done within a couple of hours by the owner himself.
