The facility is always clean, which makes a big difference when you're spending time there. I also really appreciate that they offer both card and coin payment options. I was able to use up my quarters and then use a card- my purse is much lighter! The staff is friendly and helpful, and today really stood out. I watched the woman at the front offer to help fold laundry and even walk an elderly customer out to her car. That kind of kindness and customer service goes a long way. They've also made it surprisingly family-friendly. There are coin games for the kids, and the massage chair basically changed my kids' lives . It definitely makes the whole laundry trip a lot more fun. I haven't tried the wash-and-fold service yet, but after seeing how attentive they are, it's definitely tempting. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

It's nothing fancy but a 5 load washer is only $7.25. And it's done washing in 28 minutes? Yes please. I only come here to wash my 20lb heavy blanket because my household set isn't beefy enough. Dryers are clean. And cheap. 25 cents per 7 minutes. I can wash and dry my favorite blanket in under an hour. With AC. And a convenience store next door. Popeyes in the same shopping center. Come on a non Sunday and the liquor store is open too. Got jewelry you don't need? Do you your laundry here using the cash you get from the pawn shop on the corner. Uber convenient. Walgreens, Pollo Rico, and smoke shop are only across the street too. Wowzers. This place is South Austin at it's core. Love washing here.

Five stars for Royal Cleaners!…read more My family and I have been taking our clothes to Royal Cleaners for over 20 years, and I'm not going anywhere else. This is one of the oldest businesses in San Marcos, and the family has run it from day one. They're honest, hardworking people. Once, in all those years, an item of mine got misplaced. They found it within a day and brought it to my house. That's the kind of care you rarely see anymore. Gilbert, one of the owners, is kind & helpful every time I walk in. The prices are the best around, the hours are convenient, and the service is reliable. They also hem jeans, which has saved me more than once. I love keeping my money local, and Royal Cleaners is the reason I'm happy to. Highly recommend.
