I went here after staining a satin dress so badly I was 99% sure it was ruined. (The entire front of the skirt was covered with stains from grease, a soda, and a huge mystery stain) After picking it up, it basically looks like new. And, it was only $13 (other dry cleaners have charged me around $75 to clean this dress in the past). I am very, very happy with this service. read more

I'm always thankful for the amazing service that is provided. With my busy travel schedule, sometimes I arrive with my clothes in need of a same day turn around. They always accommodate me, yet the dry cleaning is always to perfection. They also do the little extra things like sew a button that my be loose without you having to mention it. Called early in the morning before driving out. Spoke with a lady to verify price and turn around time which was perfect. Just to drive out 35 minute drive so the lady to tell me she can't help me even after me telling her I called before hand. So disappointed. read more

The customer is always suspect. I hate writing this review for a few reasons. First, I once had nothing but good things to say about Royal and recommended them to others, frequently saying things like as "my cleaners," "the best," etc. Second, I hate having any reason to say anything negative about local businesses. But, alas, some things fall off. Starting a few years ago, I took all of my dress shirts to Royal. Good prices, super convenient, and always friendly. After about two years with them, I noticed that I got a shirt back with a stain on it that I was absolutely certain I hadn't put there. I mentioned it and, after assuring me that it had come in like that--about which I was highly specious--she said they could see about getting it out. At the same time, she mentioned not noticing it, making her assertion that I'd brought it in like that pretty weak. They were unable to get it out, and for a long time I was kinda jaded about the whole thing. I started do my own pressing and the shirts weren't dry clean only so I didn't go for a while but for the odd necessity. This week, I needed somethings pressed and my iron went out, so naturally I went back to my once beloved clearers. In their shop, alone in the quiet but for the co-owner, I said, "press only, please. These are clean," took my ticket, and planned to come back two days later. To an $8 bill. It isn't a lot of money, but it is a sight more than I wanted. They'd washed and pressed them. She told me I hadn't said anything about not washing them, which wasn't true, but I'll accept that she didn't hear me. She also did not make any attempt to placate the misunderstanding. Charge a little less, maybe, or even just apologize for doing more than I wanted? No. Again, it was on me. I'd done wrong, they'd done none. She told me they'd moved away from pressing only and, pissed about the rip off as I was, I said I guess I'll have to look elsewhere, about which she seemed unconcerned. So on I go, to less accusatory folks. Oh well. read more

I had a horrible experience. I brought in a romper to get dry cleaned last Thursday, the lady said that she could have it done Tuesday, and I went in Wednesday to pick it up and it wasn't even done. The lady said that they didn't steam it because there was a stain and that she could try to get the stain out and have it ready for me tomorrow (I'm going out of town and that's why I needed it). I don't even think they attempted to clean my romper. There was a other costumer there and they only had half of his order ready in time. They have horrible customer service. read more

Please don't pay attention to the stupid reviews that some people have left! Royal Cleaners is by far the best I've ever used. *First, they charge a decent price for their work, so whoever asked for a discount on the $8 bill... really? *Second, they never staple anything to your clothing, so to the lady that said they did... perhaps they were already damaged & you were trying to pin it on someone. I have taken all of my Burberry uniforms to Royal Cleaners since I moved to San Marcos. I've dealt with faaaaaaar more expensive places, that always mess up my uniforms, but Royal Cleaners has never disappointed me. The co-owner is so nice, super friendly, and always has a smile on her face (which then makes me smile). She even greets me by my name every time! I love her & I love Royal Cleaners. I saw all the great reviews about Royal Cleaners in San Marcos, plus it's near one of my jobs, so I decided to take my husbands tuxedo and some of my dresses to them. When I first arrived they asked for my information etc, and when I wanted to pick them up. Never did they ask me how much starch I wanted on my husbands tuxedo shirt, which I thought was unusual, but I just didn't worry too much about it. I returned a few days later to pick up all of my items, paid and left. I was surprised by how little they charged to clean everything. Once I returned home and looked at my clothing items I could see why. First of all it's almost as if the items were not cleaned at all, there were still the same sweat stains on my husbands tuxedo shirt! And at first i couldn't find the tags that are usually pinned onto the shirts or tied to the shirts through the button hole. When i did find it, I almost lost it! They stapled their tags onto my husbands tuxedo jacket sleeve, his tuxedo shirt collar, the hem of his pants and onto the front of my dresses! They left holes in my dresses and damaged my husbands clothing which meant i now not only had to find a decent dry cleaners but someone who could repair my clothing, especially since one of my dresses was silk! I will never ever return, I now take my business to Tip Top Cleaners and Tuxedos in New Braunfels, and I highly recommend them! They do a great job, they are very careful with your clothing. You will pay a few dollars more but it is absolutely worth it. read more

Can't believe this place doesn't have any reviews yet!?!?! We've been using them for over 10 years and even though we moved to another town 30 minutes away we STILL take our dry cleaning to them. Why? Because they are wonderful people. They do a great job. They are honest. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Once my husband left a large amount of cash in a suit pocket and they called me to ask me to come get it. Just a great place, great people and they also support the community. My husband and I have been using Royal Cleaners for many years and have consistently had excellent service, a quick turnaround time, and low prices. They are very friendly and remember us when we come in. We've had formal dresses, suits, clothes with sequins and embroidery all cleaned and they have all come back looking perfect. They are great! I had gotten a bit of blood on a WHITE SILK tee (the horror) and took it to them the same day of the incident. I was scared the shirt would be ruined or that they wouldn't be able to get the stains out, or that something would happen with the chemicals (I'm really paranoid) since it's from a certain Italian fashion house we all know, but was surprised when I went to pick it up three days later! The shirt looks brand new and you wouldn't be able to tell if there was ever blood on it unless I told you! Will definitely be going to them for future cleaning. read more
