When I finally picked up the dress on Monday, they charged me $175 for a handful of buttons only to inform me they didn't even have the machine to press it. They even had the nerve to gripe about the glitter the dress left behind. If the fabric or the timing was an issue, they should have refused the service so I could have gladly taken my business elsewhere. While the girl who did the alterations was super nice and did a great job, the rest of the staff was extremely rude. The woman at the counter was particularly classless, refusing to acknowledge or even look at my daughter and me. She actually kicked the dress with her foot to get around us rather than acting like a professional. Regardless of whatever personal biases they have, we were paying customers who deserved basic respect. There are much better places in town that actually value their clients. Do yourself a favor and go to Royal Cleaners downtown; they are sweet, family-owned, and actually professional.
