Have you noticed laundromats are almost a thing of the past? For some people they use them often because they don't have laundry facilities where they live. Yes I have a washer and dryer but how do I wash that huge heavy comforter? Yes that's right.. enter the laundromat. I can only think of 2 washaterias in NewBraunfels. Yelp had good reviews for this one. Because no one wants to put their clothes into a stinky washer it'll just haunt you. This laundromat is clean and well maintained. It has approximately 35 washing machines - sizes include Regular ($1.75 a load) 5 machines 20pounds ($2.25 a load )there are 15 machines 30lbs ($3 a load) x 11machines 40 pounds x 1 50 pounds ($5 a load) there are 6 machines 60pounds($6.50 a load ) x3 machines Dryers , about 27 of them $1.50-$2.50 for 15 minutes ( maybe 20 minutes but I forget) The gender neutral bathroom is clean. There is an attendant that walks around cleaning. She's helpful. In case you need snacks there are 2 vending machines and plenty of other candy vending machines that will catch any kids eye. As you can tell I have been here a while but now that my extra bulky comforter is dry I gotta go. read more

I use a laundromat weekly and have been to 3 in the area. This would rate as a backup for the better one that is further away. I always run 2 30#washers and here that is $3.75. No problem on the price, but the machines are pretty outdated so they don't show how much longer you have on the loads. Not a huge issue, but annoying to have to check constantly. Then, one of the two I've used washes, washes and washes until you get the attendant to manually force the machine onto the next setting. I didn't know what was happening with it until another patron mentioned that it happens and I needed help. Once we move over to the dryers. $2 for 30 minutes is not a problem. EXCEPT NOTHING DRIES IN THE 30 ON THR MACHINE! So, the dryer takes more like an hour and $4 for the load. And you still end up with damp towels and wet jeans. When mentioned to the attendant she just chuckled and said it happened to her too with jeans. No actual solution. I definitely won't be returning unless I absolutely have to. Is it clean? For a laundromat - yes, clean enough. Is it a good value? Not unless you have no other choices. Do I recommend them? Not really. I will be continuing to drive up to San Marcos to the Spincity and get in and out in 1 hour 15 minutes. It's cleaner, newer and my clothes actually dry in the paid for cycle without adding more time. read more

I came here because I saw great reviews and thought to myself who even reviews a laundromat? This place must be awesome. There's no tables to sit and get work done if you were planning to. The washing machines don't have a timer on them. The entire place reeks of cigarette smoke. I came out with 6 shirts stained and ruined from the machines. The dryers didn't fully dry my clothes, even 1 small load of 4 towels came out still wet ? The dryers had a gross smell to them almost of dog urine.... On top of that I spent $35 to use 2 large washers and dryers and 1 normal size washer / dryer I also noticed another review calling this place clean ?? No way. It is clean. The morning attendant was extremely helpful and attentive. Great Job. However, the dryer doesn't work effectively. After 1hr of drying clothes they were still wet. A gentleman put a load in to wash. It continued for a complete hour. The machine would not disperse his garments. A lady put her money into the dryer machine dispenser to dry her clothes and it never dried the garments. The garments were completely wet and the dryer lost the complete dryer cycle. We're traveling and stopped to do a quick load of laundry on the way to Austin. Oh my God... Open the door and all you hear are screaming children running around like wild animals. Screaming so loudly that you can't stand to stay inside. We put all of the clothes in one washer because we don't care if anything bleeds and wait 29 minutes in the car. VERY clean! Lots of machines and a variety of sizes/prices. Washers range from $3 to $6 and Dryers range from $2 to $5. The dryers actually have great heat. Many of the machines allow you to use the PayRange app so you don't have to worry about having enough quarters. Variety of food vending machines (including ice cream), a few game machines, laundry product machine. Clean restroom. read more

My husband and I went to the ezy-kleen in new braunfels on tuesday night around 7pm, and I have to say I was IMPRESSED store was clean, organized and we were welcomed by their employee named CHRISTINA who was very helpful and had wonderful customer service and who kept herself busy cleaning machines and dryers and entire store the whole time we were there, i dont even think she sat down once, The place even had a good selections of snacks, drinks and video games. Clean, employees on site, all supplies needed including an ATM and change machine, and the washers are programmable via QR code! Clean laundry facility in an older building with no frills. Although this place is not fancy it has plenty of machines and feels very safe with staff on duty. The staff members we interacted with were polite and helpful. I have only been here o VW while waiting on our household goods to arrive but will come here again to launder blankets and comforters. Only gave it a 4 star because it doesn't offer any amenities like wifi or charging outlets. Otherwise it would be a 5 star review. read more

Don't go here the lady who works there throws your clothes out if she needs the dryer we were waiting in our car since it was busy and they don't enforce mask and don't wear them either I timed it walked in to check on clothes only to find them in baskets that don't belong to me she tried saying I left them there for a long time but yet my clothes were still hot hoe is that if I supposedly left them there I was waiting in my car since it was packed and we are in the middle of a pandemic also my blankets were still damp and when I confronted her she tells me well put them in another dryer why should I have to when they were already in the dryer I paid to use them I get home and I'm missing polo socks and a $50 shirt and there is nothing they will do to help me get my stuff back so I would recommend going somewhere else unless you want your personal stuff touched and stolen. read more
