MY LAUNDRY WAS STOLEN AND THEY TOLD ME THEY DIDN'T GIVE AN F! I believe my laundry was stolen by either the female attendant or a co-conspirator. On June 19th, 2023 I was in the facility and she asked me how many machines I had. When I told her I was using 3 of the 8 load machines and 2 of the 6 load machines she said "wow that's a lot of laundry." I said yes, that I had not been to the laundromat in years, had cancer but was feeling good today so wanted to get it all caught up and done at once. I then heard her on the phone speaking to someone about "there's this girl with laundry..." I tuned it out because I wasn't the only female there at that point and she works at a laundromat but in hindsight it all makes sense. She had been at the folding table folding laundry for those that pay for that service the entire time I was there. When my laundry was ready to dry she pointed to the dryers closest to her. I figured she was doing me a favor and pointing out the best dryer or something so I went where she pointed over to the corner. I had to separate the clothing that went into the dryer from the air dry laundry. I did this to all 3 of the 8 load machines I was doing this while doing my best to keep my eye on the machines that were still waiting for me. I would grab laundry - look - repeat. You get the picture. At this time the attendant disappeared. I finished all 3 of these machines and moved onto the 6 load machines which were in another row over. Machines number 18 & 19 and there was someone else's laundry in machine 19. The gentleman who had just started the machine was still standing there and told me it was empty when he got to it. He was holding an empty basket and I saw no clothes of mine in the window. I started looking in every direction, in all washers and dryers and at everyone's laundry they were folding, in their baskets and challenging people who were leaving. I went to the attendant who had returned to the folding table and told her someone took my laundry. Her response was "are you sure?" I stared at her and told her " yes I'm sure." I went to the machine, put in my card and showed her that I had paid for the use of this machine. I asked to see the cameras. She told me she didn't have access. I asked then who did? She told me only the owner. I asked for the owners name and number and her response was "I don't know ." REALLY? I said "you don't know who you work for? You don't know the name, number, who pays you, and who makes the schedule?" She tells me no. I told her I'm calling the police to report it. She then tells me "just leave your name and number for the owner. No need to call the police." I told her I would leave my name and number but I was still calling APD. Now why wouldn't she want me to call them? SUS Then I noticed another man in the facility who had been there for a good 30 minutes but I hadn't really taken notice of him before. He was clearly an employee. I told him that someone had stolen my laundry and asked if he had access to the cameras and if he had the owners name and number. His response was "No he didn't to both questions. IDGAF. Do what you want. Don't involve me. Call the police if you want. IDGAF." Nice. Helpful guy. I have never heard from the owner. I have money on my card I want refunded. I filed a police report. I know dam well nothing will come of it. I know my clothes are gone, but I know someone who works there took my laundry or gave someone a tip to come take it OR they at the very least knew the owners information and didn't bother to share it which to me, makes you just as ridiculous AND guilty as the person who stole someone else's laundry. What sad human beings that they DGAF when someone else gets their most basic things stolen from them. I know there are others in worse situations, but if they will steal your dirty underwear and socks they will steal your last $5 and your purse. LOOK OUT AND WASH YOUR CLOTHES ELSEWHERE. Needed a place where I can do a quick load of laundry. There is a drop and pick up service but you need to drop off early in order to pick up the same day before 3 p.m. I missed that so it was easier for me to just drop in and do the load of laundry myself. The double loader machine is $2.00 per load and does not accept singles - so bring quarters. The dryers cost $0.25 per 6 minutes- quarters required. There is a change machine but my money got stuck in it. The woman who works for the Laundromat was nice enough to return the money to me and had me fill out a form. There's a tv that can keep you "occupied" while you're waiting for your laundry to be done. read more

My dryer broke and several loads of accumulated laundry had to be dried. This laundromat was not too far from me and had the best reviews so I went on a Sunday afternoon at 2:30. There was only a handful of customers inside and several washers and dryers free. I picked a Speed Queen "large dryer" trying to save drying time. This particular type of dryer costs 25 cents per 6 minutes of use. Not sure how long it would take all the clothes to dry, I inserted 6 quarters to get 36 minutes as an initial guess. I also changed the heat setting to "high heat," not considering if high heat could damage any clothes. 36-37 minutes later, my clothes were fully dry! The aisles are a little narrow and there could be more chairs for people waiting in case it was an unusually busy day. The last load is 10 pm. The machines accepted quarters; I was happy that we weren't required to load depreciated money into a card like some laundromats require. If you get bored, there is a TV showing some sports. If you get thirsty or feel sleepy, there is free coffee on a table next to the entrance. The laundromat was clean and well-lit inside. The laundromat is located in a tiny strip mall one block west of Metric Blvd @ Parmer Ln. The parking lot is small but adequate for the number of customers. read more

I am/would have been a first time customer for Parmer Laundromat pick up and delivery service. It is an hour past the scheduled time and my laundry has still not been picked up. I've called the location several times am not able to get ahold of anyone and there is no messaging system at Parmer Laundromat. I've sent in an email to cancel my order but as a first time customer I'm very concerned about this being a fraudulent company as they require a credit card to schedule a pick up. I had no idea that laundromats like this existed. Mind you, the only other laundromat that I've really used was on S. Congress near Oltorf where a homeless man once wandered in with a pizza box he had dug out of the trash as his secret hiding place for shirts he stole out of dryers. The woman working at Parmer Laundromat held open the door for customers, suggested which machines would best suit the size of their loads, and actually seemed to enjoy her job, which I find is a rarity in any industry. This place has wi-fi, free coffee, vending machines, a large selection of laundry supplies in case you forgot something, shiny, new commercial washers and dryers, and two large flat-screen TVs!! It's like the all-inclusive resort of laundromats. It's a pain in the ass when your washer or dryer breaks, but finding little gems like this makes it that much easier to deal with. read more

DO NOT DO DROP OFF HERE It makes me sad to have to write this I used to love coming to this place to drop off my laundry. There use to be this very nice lady (Debbie I think) that worked here and it was always a pleasure to see her. Very friendly and I wouldn't have to worry about my clothes being done right. However, lately there has been been this new lady (Patrica) that is just awful. She'll bark at you to make you put your clothes on the scale so she doesn't have to pick them up(not a big a deal if you need help but don't make me feel like a jerk when I'm paying you to take care of my clothes). I have had my clothes come back when she has done them that look like they were crumpled up in ball. Last week when I got home I realized all of my clothes were still damp. This past time takes the cake, when dropping off she exclaimed in loud voice "I just love when you write down your directions on how to wash your clothes". I almost told my boyfriend just to put all the clothes back in the basket; I wish I did. When we came back to pick up our clothes not only did she not do what we asked and pay for but she lost our laundry basket. Now by all means I have no special attachment to my laundry basket, but it goes to show how little respect this lady has for others people's belongings. The poor new girl there that gave us our clothes said she would have Patrica or her manager contact us later that day. Three days later I have heard nothing. I will never be back to this place, I would drive completely out of my way and past other laundromats just to come here. It is just sad they have poor employees representing this place. read more

Ah, the most recent reviewer has said it all! The woman who manages the Laundromat is a total doll! She is VERY friendly and has that "mama hen" sort of feel to her, and makes sure the two gentlemen working with her always open doors for the customers. All of the staff were very polite, had English as a first language, and were very knowledgeable about how to wash tricky things like delicates, comforters, and so forth (which is GREAT for me, because I am a domestic disaster). I also forgot $7 worth of quarters there, and they are keeping it safe for me until the end of the week when I have a chance to pick it up--YAY! Also, tons of laundry supplies! Its always cheaper of course to bring your own, but when you are a derp like me and forget obvious things like that, well...its every handy. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it IS a little bit cramped, and needs more places to sit...but hey, its a laundromat! Good price, subpar cleanliness and customer service I didn't go back. I rented a washer/dryer instead. I hadn't been here before so didn't know where things were. I asked the attendant, and she looked at me like I was an idiot. I know when my stupid question impedes your day, but if you're being paid, at least fake it. This has nothing to do with the establishment per se, but many of the other customers stared at me quite frequently. I know there's not a ton to do when you're washing clothes, but blank stares are not necessary. I'd actually have felt unsafe if I were a woman, alone at night. Instead, I'm a dude who went on a Saturday afternoon, so I just stared back while it got weirder and weirder. There are nicer places not much farther away if you need to wash your clothes. read more

This was my first laundromat experience, and I like this place. I really enjoy doing laundry (I'm sure it's a medical condition of some sort), so since I can't do it at home, I definitely want a nice place. I chose this place based on the reviews here, and admittedly the wasn't as nice looking as I expected. It's most certainly clean and the machine was cleaned constantly, but it's cramped. There's not a lot of room for a big crowd, but I go early morning on weekend to steer clear of crowds and kids. Outside of a slight issue with space, this place is impressive. The different sizes of front-loading washers allow you to do several loads in one machine (reduces the cost to you in both time and money). I get all my laundry done in an hour (23 min for the washer, 18 - 20 for the dryer, and up to 20 to fold). They even have WiFi (which I haven't used yet). The staff are very helpful and friendly. Cons: Kind of cramped, but something I forgot after the first time there Coinless laundry would be nicer than change machines Pros: Lots of machines to choose from (their six load washer is amazing at $6.5 per load) Massive dryer that allows you to move those six loads into one machine Friendly staff They sell everything you need there in case you forget anything I know there's a coinless laundry place near this location, but I don't see myself switching. Came to wash some comforters that wouldn't fit in my washer at home... Nice big machines that are reasonably priced to use. The attendant was nice and informed me that I could save some money using the middle sized one rather than the huge one... He kept the place super clean and worked the entire time I was there... Emptying trash, wiping down machines, etc... I was very impressed at how hard he was working. Overall I'd say this was a great place to come and do laundry... I'd definitely come back!!! I might add that you might want to bring a jacket if you're planning on being here awhile... I froze my tooshie off in the hour I sat waiting for my comforter! Lol!! read more

I occasionally drop my laundry off for wash and fold service, and I've always been happy with their work. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. There is a sign behind the cash register that offered $3.00 for Yelp check ins, but the man wasn't familiar with what to do and I'm not familiar enough with Yelp to know what that means. They have free wi-fi, but I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I will eventually because I need to wash comforters in their large washers. Went there tonight to wash clothes and looked for a sign which stated last load was at 10pm. I was there at 9:50. Whoever was there to run the place basically told me to leave as it was too late, I shared with him that I only came in as the sign said 10pm was for the last load but he was not very accommodating to what his sign said. My home washer broke recently leaving that load in a pool of water. These guys were nearby and what was even better, they have free Wi-Fi to help pass the time and the TVs have the subtitles on so you can follow the shows without worrying about the loudness. It was great to have a place that could do my laundry for me on an extended business trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Like others I was very happy with how well my laundry was folded and packaged for pick-up. If I had one tiny complaint it would be that they use a scented detergent and my clothes smelled a bit pretty. Not so grand for a 40-something guy. Perhaps offer unscented or even hypoallergenic for an additional charge. Turn-around was just a few hours when I came in. Super amazed! read more

Why do they advertise FREE WIFI with a blinking sign if there's no wifi 70% of the time. Totally annoyed.

Operational machines, clean facilities, and the occasionally crying child, oh my! Every two weeks I make the trek to the laundry mat to clean the "whites". No hot water in my apartment complex but that's a "whole nother Oprah". Machines are operational and reasonably priced. I prefer the "three loaders" for $3.25 and the .25 cents for six minute dryers. There is typically a staff member there and if you need dryer sheets, etc. you can purchase at a very high mark-up. Hey you pay for convenience. The staff keep the place clean. Even during the busy time, noonish until 4pm, you can typically get the machines you need. The crowd is pretty courteous considering having so many different peeps in one place. You hear the occasionally shrieking baby or kid or some parent "yelling" at one but not too often. Only once did I "catch attitude" from a fellow "mater" for getting too much in their "zone". I figure at a laundry mat you're going to be exposed to it and bump elbows once in a while. Parking can be "tight" but I have always been able to find a spot. Seems pretty safe. I see the occasional cruiser in the area. Definitely a return patron! read more

Washatopia was closed in Observance of Easter, so I came here. The washers were great, but I had issues with one of the dryers - the dryer I was using was ridiculously loud. Not only that, but as my clothes were drying, they were sticking and hanging, as if there was something sticking out from inside the dryer (a piece of metal? nail? who knows). I showed the elderly Asian man and he just kept staring at it. After $5.00 worth of drying (for 4 loads on 1 machine) I noticed several of my clothes had snags and lines on 'em. Showed the Asian man again and he said it was a pen mark and when I showed him the snags, he said something was stuck... yeah, remember I showed you what was happening? He checked the inside of the dryer and apologized. I stayed an additional 15 minutes to fold my clothes and he never put an "Out of order" sign on the defective dryer. My clothes are now ruined, I'm very, very disappointed in this place. One thing's for sure, this is the first and last time I come here. It's close to my house but I'd much rather make the drive to Anderson Mill. This place isn't even deserving of a 1 star. read more

My dryer was broken so I popped over during the AFC Championships to dry my two sodden loads. I was able to fit both loads in one dryer, and they dried in 25 minutes for a grand total of $1. The place was nice and clean with tons of machines, and I got to watch the Patriots' defeat while I waited, what more could I ask for? :-) read more
