Tide completely ruined my queen sized wool comforter. I am stunned. When I noted the wool content and label, I assumed they knew how to clean it without drastically shrinking it; I was wrong. How is this possible? My comforter was 90" x 92" when I dropped it off, and now it measures 77" x 81" which no longer covers my queen sized bed. The new duvet cover I purchased to protect my freshly cleaned item no longer fits, obviously. No one bothered to notify me. I'm not sure how they thought I wouldn't notice? I called the store when I discovered the damage. They said my comforter was cleaned at a different location and that someone from that facility would contact me. No one has called back and it's been over 2 weeks. I waited patiently over the holidays. This is absurd. I lost a $620 wool comforter, the $61 Tide cleaning fee, and the duvet cover I can no longer return. I'm not even sure what to do at this point. What an awful and unprofessional business. I need to give this social media attention and file with small claims court. Photos show the mass of excess fabric of the inner lining, which was originally taut, new staining all along the edges from improper cleaning, and newly uneven and misshapen border. read more

Dropped off a king size comforter to be cleaned. It was completed quickly, which is great. Picked up, paid the $54.11 took it out to the car. When I put it in my trunk I noticed through the clear bag they gave me that the comforter was stained and dirty. Took it back inside, they said "we will re-wash it free of charge." No thank you, I took it home and washed it again myself. I got lucky this time, next time it might be folded in a way that I can't see any issues until I'm home, and at that point it'll be my fault. No refund or sorry was offered. The rep just walked away from me. Moral of the story, inspect before you pay, and if you have a large item, maybe wash it at home instead? read more

We have been trying to find a dry cleaner that we like and thought that this just might be the place... NOT!! BOY WERE WE WRONG!! HORRIBLE!!! We brought our stuff in. The rate seemed ok (a bit pricy but we were willing to pay to find a good place) they asked all the right questions, and they seemed very courteous. However after picking up our items a couple of days later we realized we were missing a couple of things and we had some of someone else's stuff too. We called and were basically told... "well that can happen... you can bring the wrong items back and then look through our lost and found section and see if you can find your stuff. If not you have to give it a while to see if someone brings your stuff back." Seriously? We asked to talk to a manager... and basically got an ear full of attitude and a response that added up to "we don't really give a crud about you as a customer" We were hot! My wife went in and took the wrong items back. She then went in and looked at their lost and found... lo and behold... there were our items... still sleeved and had our ticket on them!! No one even took the time to scan the tickets and see who the stuff belonged to! It was right there just sitting in limbo! It was well over 400$ worth of clothes and they just didn't care!! Again my wife tried to talk to a manager and the manager basically said... "yeah sometimes stuff falls through the cracks..." that was seriously the managers response! With this kind of care, follow through and customer service I would not recommend anyone brings items to this location unless you're trying to get rid of them!! We will NEVER be back!! read more

I took my favorite pea coat and my wife's there after a drink was spilled on it. They took it in on a Monday, told it would be ready the next day or 2. Friday same week went to pick it up. They finished the another jacket that I took but not mine. Tuesday the second called to find out if it was finished it wasn't. I received a call Wednesday that they had damaged it. No sorrow or any compassion about it. They messed up and oh well attitude. The ask the age of the jacket and cost like that will cover the mistake they made. I won't use them again. But after having lost the pair of pants you would think that Tide would've cut me a check so that I could simply go out and buy another pair of pants right? I got there and was told only eight of my shirts would qualify for dry cleaning. Ummmm, what? I wanted them all dry cleaned, that's why I went there. Fine... I picked up my clothes only to find out that three of the shirts were labeled with "this garment had a spot that we deemed unsafe to remove". Had 30 large blue tablecloths for cleaning back in January (6 months ago!). I called two weeks later and they weren't ready on schedule so I asked them to call me when they were. I quickly forgot about them and never received a call. Months later the thought of tablecloths pops in my head and I message the yelp account, and my table cloths were still there. I luckily still had my cleaning tag and went in a few weeks later (oops forgot again... still never received any calls though) and picked them up. The girls were friendly and pick up was easy. They had them in some flimsy bags which ripped immediately but at least got them to their destination. All in all I would go again. This location is slightly hidden in a hill off of Greenlawn south of 45. They have a valet drive up where a girl runs out and collect your name and they go and retrieve things for you. read more

I finally was able to get reimbursed for the shirt I lost. I also got a call from the manager and she heard me out and apologized for this experience. They did manage to get the stains out of the jacket so I was glad that was taken care of. I am not sure if my husband would want to go back but I am willing to give them another try for my stuff. I called in today as well and was told I will be called back but no one got back to me. I am going to go the store tomorrow to pick up the jacket I had wanted stains removed but had to give it in again for them to fix it. I am unable to send a message so please contact your branch and have them reimburse the cost of the shirt. It was a Nordstrom shirt and costed approx 90 dollars. I don't understand why a simple call back is so hard for your managers. I really doubt I want to come back after 5 times been told you guys will get back to me and still no response. Recently, my wife took 10 of my dress shirts to this Tide location. She requested them to be cleaned, medium starch and press. When she brought them home, they had been cleaned, but no starch and no press, at all. If you are a stickler for a nicely pressed shirt for work, you may want to head to an alternate cleaners. In the past, they have provided average service. The staff are always nice and professional , and the location is good. Prices are not bad, if you can get what you payed for. We may try again at some later date, but for now, we are headed to a different cleaners. read more

I just walked out of your dry cleaners with my dirty clothes in hand because the lady, Victoria I believe is her name, chose to tell me how I wanted my clothes done instead of doing them how I wanted. Today, Thursday, there is a coupon for BOGO 50% off on dry cleaning which is how we do all of our button downs, dress shirts/pants, suit pieces, dresses and things we don't wash. We dry clean them! She told me The coupon didn't work on that stuff because they would be considered a laundered item. I expressed to her that I did not want them laundered and I wanted them dry cleaned. She, again, told me they were to be laundered since they were button downs. I told her my husband always gets our clothes dry cleaned which is what we got last time. She asked if we had an account and I gave her the name. She then "bet me" that it was laundered last time. I told her " if it was laundered and not dry cleaned then it was done wrong because that's not what I requested last time." She pulled it up and it was, in fact, laundered. It seems to me that they do with your clothes what they want. Last time we asked for dry cleaning and it was laundered (against our knowledge), this time she refused to let me use my coupon and said those were laundered items and not dry clean items...when we want them to be dry cleaned. Needless to say, I had to leave with my dirty clothes on hand and bring them somewhere else because Victoria didn't want to dry clean them! Wow! I am extremely pissed that someone is telling me how to spend my own money that I work for. If I want to pay more to have our clothes dry cleaned then that's what it should be. I shouldn't be told that my clothes should be laundered instead of dry cleaned. I mean whose clothes are these? Ours? Or tides? I'm also pissed that we brought clothes to be dry cleaned last time and they were laundered. I can do that at home! Customers keep the lights on at establishments, not the workers. We chose not to go to a regular dry cleaner and went to try with tide and this is what happened. It's insane that she argued with me in how I wanted my clothes to be done! Love this place!!!! Friendly staff and owners, always get my dry cleaning done before the quoted time. Our laundry always smells great and looks even better-we have got many things dry cleaned here from wedding dresses, suits and sweaters with no issues at all. We Like that the building is professional and doesn't look like the other run down cleaners in other parts of town. We also like the free samples of detergent and softener we get when we visit. Terrible!! I opted for delivery of my clothes. After 3 days, my clothes had not been delivered so I called to see the problem. They said they had accidentally not put my clothes on the delivery list, but would do so now and I could expect my clothes delivered in 2 days. After another week, I had not received my clothes, they were still at the store, and they simply ignored adding it to the delivered clothes. Frustrated, I asked for a call back from the manager, and never received a call or even acknowledgement my request had been passed on. Terrible service!!! read more

I've been using their service since their grand opening. They're located right on the edge of Round Rock and Pflugerville. As a Pflugerville resident, I tried pretty much every single dry cleaner in the area, the majority of which over starched my clothes! Having experienced multiple issues with MW Cleaners, I decided to give Tide a try. I was graciously greeted upon arrival, I provided information to create an account and given the new customer 50% off discount. I have not had one problem thus far, all of my clothes have been returned to me crisp and clean. I arrived in town around noon Friday and was in town for less than 24 hours and needed a suit and shirt dry cleaned by 2 p.m. Saturday before heading back to Dallas. The manager and staff bent over backwards to make sure this was done and did so in the most amazing, cheerful manner. One of the best customer experiences I've ever had. I brought in 10 shirts and 2 white lab coats and am very pleased with how great everything turned out to be! I was very nervous about getting the lab coats cleaned, but they look brand new now! I was a new customer, so I was able to get 50% off of my first dry cleaning services. However, the only thing stopping me from coming back is that it's going to be much more expensive without the discount applied. I wanted to like this place so bad because I work south and the 24 hour kiosk is a life saver since they are closed by the time I get up north. I gave them multiple chances because I wanted it to work. But here is what happened in 5 straight visits over the course of 3 weeks here is what happened: 1. I dropped off 15 items. Went to the kiosk to pick up and 1 item came out. Had to leave work early the next day to make it in time to pick up the rest of my items. 2. Gave me someone else's shirt and lost my wife's shirt on the same transaction 3. I went to pick up at the kiosk. The machine gave me the standard "Wait while we grab your clothes" message. After waiting 10 minutes it went back to the start screen and when I tried again I had zero clothes waiting. Called the next day and they said there was a known issue with the kiosk (maybe put up a sign? or tell us at drop off?) and they offered free delivery until the kiosk was fixed. 4. Dropped my clothes off on a Wednesday and went out of town. Called Friday to have them delivered (my mother in law was at our house) and they said they weren't ready. Called Saturday to have them delivered and they said it would be 1st truck out Monday. Didn't receive them by 2pm and we called and they weren't sent out yet. Had to go pick them up. 5. One of my polos had a huge snag across the chest. Easily 5 inches long. The people are always nice and we love that they use Tide products because we use that at home. Unfortunately, the kindness and smell doesn't offset the continuous headaches with getting our clothes done. read more

I have reached out to customer service with no response multiple times to get a manager, was even told a manager would reach out to me, because I don't want to go into the store and yell at some random employee but this is getting ridiculous. You destroyed my wedding dress by shrinking it! It cost me $220 for you to clean dn destroy my two piece dress. Then it's cost $400 in alterations to fix, then another $325 to buy a new top because the one top could not be salvaged. You all owe my hundreds of dollars just in a refund but then I believe you owe me for all the repairs. You made my wedding more stressful and your customer service is awful. Dress shops are now warning patrons to stay away from tide. Multiple seamstresses told me they've never even heard of a wedding dressing being shrunk by a cleaner and don't understand how this even happened. How could it?!? It's dry cleaning! Hopefully someone will finally reach out to me now. I'll just keep leaving more reviews and if nothing your employees are going to be bothered by something you should have taken care of. I love coming to Tide because it's the quickest, most pleasant experience when it comes to dry cleaning. It may sound weird to say I love it, but seriously, who ever deals with happy employees when they visit a dry cleaner? Tide is doing something right because each time I go, the staff is attentive and happy to talk to you. I love that every item is cleaned, pressed, and starched to your preference. You can drop off 24 hours a day and there's even a drive-thru valet service. I have not used either of these services yet. Also, there are coupons for Tide in the Community Impact newspaper and in the Valpak mailer. Quit looking around for a good cleaner and just go here! read more

Tide/MW Cleaners has lost and carelessly misplaced 7-8 summer linen, resort wear, and sweaters from my last clean. Worth $1000+. I've been robbed and that would be a felony. I am realizing how many pieces I've lost as I go through pictures/closet and realize that garment is missing. I just noticed today a John Varvatos resort wear was never returned and never filed a claim for that piece.. At this point, I would advise customers to keep track of their clothing if one continues to use their service. I spoke with the VP (Matthew Styer) who in return said I'd get a check for my clothing between 7-10 days, it's now been the 13th day. I'd rather the company be more responsible with other people's belongings as opposed to the check. Especially since some pieces had sentimental value and we're special edition/exclusive pieces. If I could I would give the service a 0 and the customer service a 0 star rating; I would. I no longer trust this dry cleaner. I asked for them to look for my clothes and they could not find it and apparently according to Matthew Styer, this is normal, since they "receive so many garments"... it could have been "given to someone else" is what I was told. How this makes sense, I am not sure. But they've lost $1000+ worth of my garments in one clean. How careless is that. read more

I dropped off my jacket to this place on January 28th. After they did, all the fur around the hat was burned and looks terrible. It was the first time I wash the jacket and afraid to ruin it myself so I brought it to Tide, I thought they are professor and know clearly what to do. But they RUINED it. If they don't know how to do they just tell me at first so I will take it back. I came back so many times to ask for compensation, they said the person from claim department will contact me but she never did. I tried to call her so many times but she's never pick up the phone once. I called again directly to the store after 2 month and ask to meet manager and they keep telling me the manager was not there and she/he will contact me but until now they did not do anything that seems like they're willing to compensate. They do deliver to your door, but $8 for a sweater, $7 for pants, $3.50 per shirt, really adds up. I have been with them for years only because after 20 washes they provided a $50 coupon to Men's Warehouse. I was just informed they apparently canceled that program in April so no longer worth the extra expense. :( read more
