22 items dry cleaned for under $80! Including dresses, shirts, pants, and a coat! Can you believe it?!? Seriously with other places I have gone this would have been over 200! It isn't a fancy place. It isn't a big place. But it is the least expensive dry cleaner I have ever been too! A couple of tips... one not conveniently located, for me at least... 2 they are a pay up front cleaner! Yep you pay First... according to them that's how they keep the costs down. Shocked me... but I did it and was shocked again! The cost was so much lower then what I've been used to. The people are by no means enthusiastic. However they get the job DONE! I don't need my dry cleaner to be chatty and asking about my life anyway... right?! I dropped my stuff off Thursday morning and it was all ready on Friday night. They sent me a text when it was ready to be picked up. 5 Stars for Customer Service! To begin with Robin was AMAZING! I had to have a coat dry cleaned and I was coming in on the last minute. I called in and informed Robin that I was on the way and that I should be there before they close at 5 PM. At the last light on Round Rock Ave a very long train was passing which caused me to be 5 minutes late. When I showed up Robin was there waiting for me. I was stunned that she didn't clock out and say "Oh Well!" instead she actually waited to provide EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. 5 Stars for The Affordability! When I was shopping around looking for a local dry cleaner to clean my coat, Ricks Cleaners was less than 3x's the cost among the local competition. 5 Stars for The Actual Service! I was able to pick up the coat a day earlier than anticipated and it was fresh. Manager in RR was a 5 star lady. Rick lost my pants twice and said they would have them by Wednesday. I drove from Georgetown to RR to pick up on the way to the airport. Still lost. Had to buy another pair of pants as I trusted them for two years. They credited me $5 the cost of dry cleaning as when I returned home they found them. Lol. One lost ...4 times a month 2 year customer gone. As a former executive statistics say you need to market to 100 more customers to get one of me back. 25-30% of revenue is retention. Mostly likely your business is large quantity sales so it is more important to have a retention department. Rick doesn't make it right ! Bye! Bye! I have been coming here for several years. At first it was fast, drop off by 8am and the next day pick it up. Now it takes a couple of days, kind of inconvenient but whatever. My most recent trip was to drop off a few shirts for laundry and a pair of dress pants for dry cleaning. I went to pick them up a few days later and no pants. They said they would look for them. I called after a couple of days, still no pants to be found. After a few more days they tell me they gave them to another customer and have called them to get my pants back. I was told they have ways of knowing who got them which raised a lot of questions on why they could not get them back. I call the next day, no response from the customer they say has my pants. I call the next day, still no response from the other customer. I am then told to give them a couple more days and if no response, the "office" will get involved. Ok, the "office" is now involved and they can't get the pants back either. Who keep someone else's clothes? A few more days and I am told I will receive a claim form the next day. Guess what, it doesn't show up. It has been over 2 weeks since this began and nothing. I called again and finally got the claim form. I filled it out electronically and sent it in. Another week goes by and I get a check in the mail. My pants were less than 2 years old and they gave me less than half of the cost so I was unable to replace them. I called their office and spoke to someone who said I was "unreasonable" for wanting enough to replace the pants. Silly me, I was not provided a copy of the depreciation scale for dress pants that they use. My bad. I wound up with no pants and not enough money to replace them. Who knew that a pair of dress pants depreciated so quickly? They use a standard depreciate scale for textiles which I was never provided and they will not make exceptions. The manager at the location I use in Round Rock was easy to work with and I believe she really tried and why I will likely give them another chance. When the "office" got involved was when I became irritated. I did finally get a credit for the dry cleaning on the pants they gave to someone else but am somewhat hesitant to go back. Caveat Emptor - know that if you have worn an item and they give it to someone else you will get less than half of its actual worth. Also, if you get home and have someone else's clothes - take them back to the cleaners! Come on people. read more

I took 6 pants and 1 shirt to Ricks Cleaners at the Round Rock location, Tuesday September 25th 2018 and when I picked up my dry cleaning two days later, I received one shirt and two pants. Four pants were missing. When they showed me the receipt it stated three articles of clothing even though I know for a fact that I dropped off Seven articles of clothing. Another time I took a tuxedo including pants. Hung in my closet for months until I was going to wear it. Much to my shock my pants were not with my jacket. After complaining they told me it was too late to trace the whereabouts of my pants. MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CLOTHES YOU DROPPED OFF ARE ACTUALLY THERE WHEN YOU PICK THEM UP. read more

This is a long time coming! Over the last 2 years, I have had the pleasure of using Rick's Cleaners in Round Rock as my dry cleaning place of choice. I feel what makes Rick's Cleaners standout is the fantastic customer service available here. I have worked often with Katelynn and Darrion, who are both outstanding dry cleaning clerks at Rick's. They are patient, easy to work, and answer questions. In addition, if ever there was a stain or a dry cleaning issue that needed to be fixed, they promptly addressed it. For example, I had a stain on one of my jackets that did not come out with dry cleaning. They sent it back to get it retouched for free, and I received it back the next day. Please note if there is a stain that needs to be retouched but retouching it will damage the garment, the cleaners will notify you of this and will not retouch the garment in order to protect it. Overall, a positive experience at Rick's Cleaners in Round Rock. I recommend using this location! read more

To Whom It May Concern, It is often said that customers only right respond when they are not happy with the service. I do both and I want to make sure that's clear because this is not one of the positive reviews I would like to write. On July 8th of this year, I took a brand-new suit and shirt to be cleaned. Both items were brand new and purchased for an event that was coming on the 16th of July. The event was my mother's 75th birthday party and these items were purchased specifically for this event. I dropped off the items well in advance of the party to ensure that I would have them back before the party. I was told to come back after 5 pm the following Monday and the items would be ready for pickup. I returned on Monday, about two hours before the designated pickup time knowing that the items may not be ready but I was in the area and didn't want to double back the same day so I thought I would try. When I arrived, the suit was ready but they explained that the shirt had not arrived yet and that I should come back on Tuesday to make sure they had time for its arrival. I agreed and went about my day. Tuesday came and I went to get the shirt however it had not arrived yet. A bit annoyed, I agreed that I would give it another day to arrive. Thursday comes and I was asked to come back on Friday between the time the lady at the dry cleaners stated that she would reach out and find out what was happing and give me a call, so I didn't have to waste more time coming to the store. Again, I reluctantly agreed and provided her with my cell phone number to reach me. As the day Friday became later and later and I had not heard from her I decided to go back once again to the round rock location and inquire once again about my shirt. At that time, she informed me that the shirt was indeed lost and that if I provided her the email address that some would contact me about the shirt. I explained to her in great detail my frustration and the fact that I needed to have the shirt for a party that was now the very next day. She said she understood the frustration and that someone would reach out to me. In the meantime, I ran out to a couple of stores to find a tuxedo shirt that would work for me and had to expend twice the money plus cleaning fees for a shirt that was only intended to be worn once. That same day while I was leaving to go find a new shirt I called a number that I found on the internet that said this is the number I should call to file a complaint. So I called the number and a young woman answered and I explained my situation and frustration to her. After she let me speak she said, you need to call the location because this phone only rings after the local cleaner didn't answer it rolls over to us but she asked for my information so that she could pass it on to the Round Rock location to reach out to me. Well, I already knew where that would end so I politely declined and ended the call. I let another week go by and still not one attempt to contact me. No phone calls, voicemails, or emails related to this issue have been identified. I work in customer service and hold myself and my team to very high standards. This was not even meeting the minimum standards in my book. At this time, I am completely frustrated because I looked up their policy when it comes to these types of issues, and it stated that you had either 24 or 72 hours from you were notified of the issue to make a payment request. Well, at this point it was well beyond that point and no one had reached out to me yet. Out of total frustration, I called the number again that I called previously and was told it was the wrong number at that point, I was ready to stay on the phone until I spoke with someone that could help me. When the gentlemen answered the phone, I immediately asked where do I call to file a complaint. He said I can help you with that, I was surprised because I week or so ago that was the opposite of what I was told. I began to explain the issue and my frustration and the fact that it cost me to purchase clean and repurchase a shirt for a party the issue was not my fault and the lady at the cleaners said that the shirt was lost. I mistakenly thought that I would be made whole in this situation mainly because they told me it was their issue that caused me to lose this shirt. Much to my surprise once I stop speaking the gentlemen said I'm sorry to hear all of this and I am the owner, and I will help you get this addressed. He then explained to me that the shirt was never lost but that it somehow got stained in the wash and they were trying to fix it and could not and that is what cast the delay. My response was how are we going to fix this in the end, I had to purchase a new shirt for the event that I would not have if your company didn't make the mistake. His response was basically that they would process some type of refund on the shirt that was destroyed but the fact that I purchased a new shirt, read more

I've tried a few different dry cleaners around the Rock but I find Rick's to be the most reasonable of cost and most importantly my clothes come back clean! I'm also not a fan of juggling coupons (do you hear me H-E-B?). Why not just charge a fair price in the first place? I met the owner recently and seems like a decent guy. So I am on about day 45 of this minor saga. I had my clothes clean and received someone else's pants and not my own to go with the new suit that I just bought and wore once to a wedding. I returned the black pants and they said that they would try to find my blue pants ASAP. As I stated, 5+ weeks later, no pants, no refund, no call from management or the office. I have only spoken with the front desk clerks who I try not to have an attitude with since it's not their fault, nor am I acting agitated...but now it may be time to raise a stink since it will be another week before I hear back and I am leaving town in 2 days. This is my absolute favorite dry cleaner store for one reason...the manager, Katelynn McAllister. She is always a ray of light in what is usually a monotonous errand. Great customer service, always with a smile! My clothes always come back wonderfully cleaned, and the prices are fair. I have been to other dry cleaners around town, even different Rick's locations, and have have had lackluster experiences, standard service, so when I came by the Rick's over by Sprouts in Round Rock and experienced both superb customer service and cleaning service, I was thrilled, and will never go to another cleaners! Ricks have been reasonable good cleaners so far. It seems that as they have grown there customer service is lousy. I been left several messages over a 2 day period & have not heard back. I can not even get them on the phone all day Mon. I will NOT be using them again. I do not recommend using them if you need your clothes cleaned in sort time. They have no way of tracking them & there staff is not at all trained in customer service. read more

DON'T USE THEM! THEY ARE THE WORSE! I would give them no stars if I could. I put my pants in to be cleaned on Friday 7/31 to be cleaned. They had some spots on them. I informed the girl behind the counter that I was getting married in those slacks. She told me they would be ready by Monday. I returned to get them Monday and there was still a spot on the slacks. I told her. She informed me they would be ready Wednesday. I returned Wednesday 8/5 to get them and the door was still there. She informed me the spot wouldn't come out. I told her, why was I not called and informed this. I could have bought new pants and had them tailored before Saturday. She just shrugged her shoulders. You get what you pay for at Rick's Cleaners - Poor Service I had used Reid's Cleaners for years but decided to give Rick's a try to save a little money. Things had started off well and I told my coworkers and neighbors that they were great. I'm retracting that praise in this post after my poor customer service experience. TWO of my shirts were returned with slight tears on the backside of the forearms. I returned the shirts and suggested they take a look at the shirts and determine how we might rectify this situation. The shirts were returned with a photo copied article from the International Fabricare Institute explaining how the manufacture was to blame for their dying process. What are the chances of TWO DIFFERENT MANUFACTURES (IZOD and Calvin Klein) producing poor quality shirts that tear in the exact same shirt location at the exact same time? Rick's Customer Service (Barbara) did not have a good explanation and asked me to send the shirts back again. The shirts were returned with a different photo copied bulletin from the International Faricare Institute explaining the life expectancy of shirts. By the way, the holes were much larger because they "tested" the shirts by putting their fingers in the holes and making them larger. Now, the shirts are beyond repair. I'm willing to bet Rick's Cleaners will have an International Fabricare Institute article for any problem that you might encounter. So, don't expect them to do what is right, like repairing garments, offering free service, replacing a damaged garment, or even partial replacement. Instead, you can expect a photo copied article from a very biased industry publication that will place the blame somewhere other than Rick's Cleaners. Did I mention the shirt life expectancy article was published nearly 20 years ago? The "scientific testing" was conducted on THREE shirts worn by staffers? Call me naïve, but I believe the statistically significant sample of shirts for an industry article should have been much larger. Oh well, I'm a believer that customer service will make or break a small business - goodbye Rick's Cleaners. By the way, I had to give Rick's a one star rating because zero stars was not an option. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I took some placemats in, to get cleaned, 4 in total. Two came back clean, 2 came back dirty. The "manager" told me to wash them at home and use Oxy-Clean....HUH? I wanted them to maintain their SHAPE, therefore, I wanted them DRY CLEANED! Also, sent in a pair of off white pants at the same time, they came back dirty! I was told by the SAME "manager" that they didn't "clean clothes, they preserve them." WHAT??? The sign on the door says CLEANERS!! Sent the pants back for ONE MORE try and they came back dirty again! I asked for a refund and none was given! Told the guy how ridiculous it was that he said that they "preserve rather than clean clothes" and he said he never said it! I know I would never think up the idea of "preserving clothes" on my own! Ended up taking the clothes down 620 to the Comet cleaners next to Subway and guess what? They got them clean! Only cost $1 more too! Totally worth it! I will NEVER EVER return to ANY Ricks Cleaners! I have dropped off my Uniforms here for over a year. Last week they broke two zippers off of two of my work shirts. They called me to tell me that they were ready for pick up. When I got them they refused to fix the zippers as they don't think they did it. They will not repair them so therefore I have to get them repaired somewhere else. I now do not have a complete uniform x2. I know I brought them in, in good shape. This is a horrible dry cleaners with poor ethics. They should have paid my repair bill and returned my cost of Dry Cleaning. I rarely write a review especially a negative one. DO NOT GO HERE. You will get ripped off and your clothes will be ruined. Everytime I drop clothes off at this store, this terrible employee that works the counters in the morning really upsets me. First of all, im made to feel as if im bothering him by dropping off clothes at all which i cant for the life of me understand. Ive been in there several times where he wont even get off the phone while waiting on me. And he wont even turn down the loud music on his laptop, its just crazy. He never says hello or thank you and most of the time I have to fight him to get my receipt, wth????? At this point ive started coming in the late afternoons so i can be waited on by a very nice professional lady who is always pleasant and seems to know alot about the business.
