A friend took me here recently for lunch. I had moo goo gai pan, which came with rice, egg roll and salad. Huge portions, more than I could eat, very reasonable price. The food tasted very fresh, the vegetables were nice and crisp and the amount of meat was very generous, especially for a lunch portion. I returned last night to celebrate my birthday with my husband. This time I had cashew chicken and was equally impressed with the large portion, nice fresh and crisp vegetables, and large amount of meat for a very reasonable price. Service was very attentive. We are newcomers to Georgetown and delighted to find such an excellent Asian restaurant at our doorstep! I'd definitely recommend this place without hesitation! read more

Georgetown, Texas needed variety. Wasabi is just what the community should have. Good service, good food. The staff is friendly and will thank you (multiple times on occasion) for being there. The portions are large and the prices are good. The atmosphere is great for a date night, relaxing and inviting. The music level is low and there are no TV's to distract attention away. It is not a large restaurant, so seating is limited. Parking is private, so no problems for dinner but may be crowded for lunch. Way to go Wasabi. Keep it up. 4 stars. read more

The food is good but remember that when you go to tip the wait staff you are really tipping management. They do not give the tips to the servers because they make $10 an hour. So very unfair to them because they work very hard. read more

The food was very surprisingly tasty. I was craving sushi and just recently moved to Georgetown. So far living here has been frustrating to find good places to dine out. I was craving sushi so bad I figured I would just suffer a mediocre place at best. When we got our appetizers I was blown away at how tasty and fresh everything was. I tried a couple of their special rolls and was very glad I did. They had great presentation and creativity. The lobster tempura roll was VERY rich and flavorful, but not overwhelming. The service was very good, but the girl who helped us was obviously new and not familiar with sushi. However, she was friendly and willing to find out answers to anything she didn't know. Just disgusting! Food is horrible, the owner was a jerk and kitchen was dirty and I could see the tea urns being stored on the kitchen floor from where I sat. Don't waste your time go to Nancy's Sky Garden for a good lunch and if you want sushi take the time and drive to round rock. read more

Absolute worst service I've ever experienced. It was comical at first when we waited for 15mins just to get someone to come by the table, we were then brought veggie tempura that we did not Order ...TWICE, as well as an order of orange chicken, and a salad. Never got water refills, or even asked until we were attempting to pay the tab. Our order took 30 plus minutes and didn't come out right, even after being asked multiple times what we ordered. None of the servers had a clue as to what was going on and one even took my drink straight out of my hand... As I was still drinking. We waited about 15 mins after asking twice for our check and another 10 mins before we finally got up and went to the front to pay. Very disappointed given the other reviews posted. Was great the first time we went here. A little overpriced but worth it for amazing service and awesome chef. Also the portions were a little on the small size but it was lunch. Went tonight to what seemed like a completely different place. Rude staff that completely ignored everyone. At times they seemed to be wandering aimlessly. We saw our waitress once, to get our order. We had to ask twice for silverware for our kids. Food was cold but never saw our server to send back, but lots of people were sending stuff back. Had to keep stopping people to get our order taken, drinks refilled, and to even get my food. They brought out food for wife and kids but never for me. Got it about 10 minutes after they did. Never brought us our ticket, I asked three servers to get it. When I finally got it, they had put a drink on there that we never ordered. I just have no idea what happened. Everyone was leaving ticked off, I can't imagine what tonight will end up costing them in lost customers. read more

The salad sounded delish with a ginger dressing, but it was absolutely drenched in dressing, making it soggy and un-appetizing.The eggroll was fried mush, and the california roll it came with was tiny and warm. One of the best local Asian restaurants I have found at a decent price in Texas. Good Asian food is really hard to came by, unless you willing to travel over seas or to California. It is not at all like buffet style Chinese food. If you have a special request, the chef will make it for you, in my experience anyway. My husband ha traveled the world in the U.S. Navy and tried many different Asian dishes. He agrees with me that Wasabi is as close as your going to get to a great Asian meal in this area. Recently moved to Gtown and have been to this place four times already. Food and service have been consistently great. Prices are very decent, lots of options. We've tried the fried rice, Hunan Chicken, Sesame Chicken; all great. They have a nice variety of imported beers at good prices. I'd definitely recommend this place! Not many options for Asian cuisine in this area. Food is decent enough but the hosts and waiters need to be better acquainted with the menu. Amazing food! Onion soup is delicious! Would definitely return and recommend to all my friends and family. The place isn't too bright and does have do have solar screens now! Beautiful atmosphere. When this place opened up, we were so happy especially after we went there for dinner. I always had the sushi and it was good, and the food was consistently good. As time passed, the quality of the food started deteriorating. Last time I had sushi there the sushi was actually frozen inside. So ok, no more ordering sushi. Dinner last time we were there was ok. food was hot, nothing to write home about. Service was always fine. I observed over last few visits there that there were less people there, the food was getting a bit bland. But ok, so this is Georgetown and there is nothing else in chinese/japanese category there. OK couple nights ago, we decided to order a take out. What a waste of money. 38 dollars down the tubes. Salt and pepper shrimp which we ordered before was so hot , that you couldn't taste the food. The rest of the food was disgusting, soggy and at one point not quite identifiable. The only edible plate was the house fried rice, but how can you screw that up. In hindsight, I should have just made fried rice, (which is better than theirs) and saved my 38 + dollars. We picked up a menu from there, which we threw in the trash along with the disgusting food. Really good sushi and great variety. The owner is really nice too. Great option for asian food in Georgetown.
