I had the jalapeño beef, egg rolls, and crab Rangoon. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. The crab Rangoon was a bit flat but had a normal amount of filling and tasted good. The jalapeño beef was loaded with jalapeños and red and green bell peppers, with a flavorful sauce and tender, not-too-fatty beef, actual beef. This is the kind of Chinese food I've been looking for in Austin. The food tasted fresh, and like it was made with care, with generous portions. The customer service was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. You can tell they take pride in both their food and service. The restaurant has a good amount of seating and it looked nice. I'll be back when I'm in the area and have a craving for Chinese food.

The food here is so delicious and fresh. We ordered the egg drop soup, crab rangoon, cashew chicken & honey walnut shrimp (both with a side of brown rice). The service was so wonderful too - they even called me to double check I knew I had ordered pickup from the Leander location (since they have another location in Georgetown). It's located in a wonderful little complex that has lots of lovely small businesses and shops. We will definitely be regulars here!

OK, NOW, my husband and I finally came IN to the restaurant. So, now I can say, they have GREAT service! As soon as you walk in they direct you to a table, and waitress was right there. Even though we knew the menu from ordering thru the delivery app, we wanted to try a couple other things. The two main things we KNEW we had to order again though were the deep fried dumplings as an appitzer and the Singapore Noodles. OMG, They were both great! I am telling you, the Singapore noodles is something I have never seen at any other Asian restaurant, and it is the best item on their menu! Now, for entree, my husband tried the Szechuan Beef and Scallops. I tried it, and not as spicy, as thought it would be, by it's name, and looked like not a lot on the plate. I got the Happy Family (Shrimp, Scallops, Beef and chicken with mixed vegetables in brown sauce). Again, I like getting all the meats (like the Singapore noodles and in the past the combination fried rice). It was very good, not over sauced (like some places do). We finished our plates! (*took rice home, as noodles filled us up). The thing I love about this place is is had dishes you don't see at other places. Yes, they have your "traditional dishes"...and if you want that, fine. But, when I go to a restaurant, I look for items that are different. So, always go to their "Specialties" section! You will not be disappointed! Will keep eating (delivery and inside). Great food and great service!

We stopped in for dinner on a Sunday night 7:30. We were sat right away, very clean restaurant and super friendly staff. We ordered orange chicken based on the amount of reviews that mentioned it. It did not disappoint-very fresh, great flavor and generous portion sizes. We also tried the sesame chicken, served with steamed rice. I found the flavor to be really good, and the chicken was cooked well. I will definitely come back for this alone. For starters we tried the egg rolls, won ton soup and egg drop soup--all wonderful. The iced tea was so good I got some to go! Definitely give this location a try, you will not be disappointed.

Our service was unbeatable. Our server offered water and a choice of meal beverages as soon as we sat at the table of our choice. She brought our beverages immediately with menus. She checked back and asked if we were ready as soon as we played our menus on the table. ( 2 other customers there whom she also served. The food came promptly and was piping hot. The Sweet n Sour soup was delicious and had a very pleasant milt bite. Both the fried and steamed rice were served as a baseballs-sized ball and were easy to stop with chopsticks. My wife enjoyed her Shrimp with Lobster sauce and my moogoo Gi Pan was perfect. The chicken was so tender I could take a bite off a strip while holding the rest in the chopsticks. The Jasmine tea came hot and was delicious after it steeped a minute. . Our server checked on us a couple of times. My Fortune Cookie predicted my best wish as i am publishing my first Book "Gringo on the Rio". We will definitely be going back. 5 stars are just not enough! What a pleasant dining experience!

Steamed Vegetables with Shrimp (H06), comes with Brown Sauce and a I opted for Brown Rice

I came here with my family after driving home from college after spring break. For the appetizer I got to try one of their Egg Rolls which came out hot, fast (~5-7 min), and crispy. It was filled with what tasted like pork, cabbage, and carrots and was very well-seasoned so I recommend trying it out. The Steamed Vegetables with Shrimp has a side of Brown Sauce and your choice of white, brown, or fried rice. I opted for the brown rice which was soft, fluffy, and moist so no complaints there. The shrimp was cooked beautifully and was surprisingly tender and the brown sauce was sweet and garlicky. So if you enjoy garlic like me it's a win. However, I do think the vegetables could have been cooked more as they were a bit too crunchy for my liking, but overall not bad! Service and ambience were phenomenal. The staff was very quick in bringing out our food and were very kind and sociable. In addition, the place was very clean and the bathroom was spotless! Overall, if you're driving through Ronald Reagan Boulevard in Leander, I would check this place out.

I haven't dined in at the restaurant yet; I've only placed online orders for takeout. The online ordering system is pretty straightforward, although the text message validation can be hit or miss for me. My order is typically ready to go when I arrive, and I always choose to pay at the restaurant when I pick it up. The portion sizes are decent for the area and similar to other Chinese restaurants. I ordered the Mongolian Beef (Lunch) with Hot & Sour Soup and Fried Rice. The food arrived piping hot and bursting with flavor. My only wish is that there was an option to make it spicier. There are plenty of tables inside the restaurant when I came into to pick up my food. Everything looked clean and nice. Also tons of parking spaces in this plaza.

A SOLID and TRUE GEM! Highlight - the Singapore noodle, hands down is the best Singapore noodle I've had in Texas! My confidence in making this strong statement comes not just from living in Singapore for a few years but from the perfect burst of curry + wok aroma going on with my first bite. Starter - best dang eggrolls ever Soups - tried the egg drop and wonton, both were phenomenal, the wonton soup personally is going to be my "'must over" every single time now. Shrimp Lobster - mild yet full of flavour Shrimp Lo mein - not overpowering, heavier on the noodle Shrimp Kung Pao - heavier on the gravy side, slight sweetness Pro tips - they have pictures on the wall of the actual dishes/entrees you can reference. Portions are generous! The service is kind and prompt, the place is clean - I'm a fan of this unexpected find!

I had a large hot and sour soup and an order of four vegetable egg rolls. The soup was good but I was disappointed there were no little chunks of pork in it. The egg rolls were the worst I've ever tried to eat, after requesting soy sauce and hot mustard, which should've accompanied this dish. They were previously frozen and gooey inside. Just awful. The beef was tender and the onions were cooked perfectly in my Mongolian beef, but there was barely any sauce. Same with my wife's dish: very little sauce. Neither dish had much flavor. My Mongolian beef was supposed to be spicy. There were three peppers on my plate, but it wasn't spicy at all. I had to drench everything with hot oil. The hot tea was too weak to drink. We've eaten at Hao Hao several times now, both dine in and takeout, and it has quietly become one of our regular spots. The location is easy to get to with good parking, which already makes it a win. The bright open sign was a smart addition and definitely draws your eye. Inside, the dining room is smaller with limited tables, which actually gives it a more relaxed, quaint feel compared to larger, noisier places. They offer both Chinese and Vietnamese dishes. I am not especially familiar with Vietnamese food, but I enjoy Chinese and have struggled to find a local option we really like. Hao Hao has filled that gap for us. Across multiple visits, we have tried a variety of dishes and have yet to have a bad meal. Somewhat unexpectedly, the fried rice is excellent. It even reheats well, which is not something I usually say about fried rice. This visit was with my parents. It was a little louder than our previous visits, likely because kids were out for the holidays, but still enjoyable. We started with fried dumplings, edamame, and ribs. The dumplings were nicely crisp without being greasy or water logged. I am not a rib person, but my significant other orders them every time, which speaks for itself. I shared the chicken egg foo young with my mother. This is my third time ordering egg foo young here. I usually get the vegetable version, but the chicken was just as good. Not many places serve egg foo young anymore, likely because it is messy and time consuming to make, but it remains one of my favorite dishes. Portions are generous. Two large omelets, plenty of sauce, and lots of fresh mushrooms. My mother's boyfriend ordered the pho and was very positive about it. The portion size alone was impressive. My significant other ordered the shrimp with black pepper salt and talked through the meal about how good it was. Service is table service and the staff have consistently been pleasant and easy to interact with. Food was a bit slow this visit, but that was unusual and they were clearly busy. It did not detract from the experience. Overall, this was another great meal. Reasonably priced, generous portions, and reliable quality. We will absolutely keep coming back.

He was congenial and hustling. But it appeared they didn't have enough staff and they weren't well trained (a management issue). I had to ask separately to get sweet and sout sauce with my egg roll, had to ask a second time for my crunchy noodles, and had to ask separately for soy sauce for my entree. The sense was that the server had to take care of way too many tables. Just too few staff, and insufficient training. The othet negative is that they charge extra for little add ons that most places include. On the other hand, the food was pretty good. I want this place to succeed. I did enjoy everything I ordered. Had Pork and Shrimp Spring Rolls with Peanut Sauce, Egg Drop Soup, Crunchy Noodles (that cost extra - most places don't charge for these), and Shrimp and Lobster Sauce. And it was Friday evening rush time. Just need for management to more fully train staff on how to fully take care of customers. I do like the food here. This is the cost of cheap but great quality food. For the appetizers I got the spicy shrimp and the steam chicken dumplings. They both came out really hot so be careful lol. Man the spicy shrimp was very delicious and spicy! But not too spicy for me because I'm use to it but if you're not a spicy veteran this does have a good kick. I loved the sauce and the lettuce, which i used pieces of it to scoop and eat my shrimp in whole. This is a 5/5 recommend The dumplings came out in a pair for like 4-5 dollars I think. It was very hot and soft. The only thing tho was that the meat inside the dumpling was a lil dry compared to a lot of Asian restaurants I've tried BUT it tasted good and was flavor. 4/5. I got the Ox tail Beef broth soup and the Nasi Padang. The ox tail was very good, it has its spices but it's a simple soup with the meat, the potatoes and chopped up tomatoes all thrown into the bowl, with wontons. I used the side chili they gave me, lime into the soup. It was so much to eat for me including the rice with the bowl. Of soup was a lot. Because it was ox the price was a bit high so like 19 which is reasonable. The broth was great, it's simple yet very delectable. The Nasi Padang, was a curry based plate with two types of meat, shredded beef and chicken, two different curry flavors. One was sweet and the other was tangy which was different. It wasn't my favorite but the ox tail definitely beat it. Overall this place was really good and something yall should doif you wanna eat out on budget but good.

We arrived around 7:40p Saturday evening and this spot is bumpin busy and very lively. The outdoor patio was even packed. We were so lucky as a walk-in party of 2, a table was being cleaned so we were able to be seated quickly. Our server brought us each a tablet to order our food. I ordered the cucumber salad and general tso chicken with fried rice. My man ordered 2 lbs of live mala style crawfish $18 per pound (min 2# per order) with 5 shrimp. He also ordered the sesame chicken dish. Our food came out within 10 minutes, super fast. The crawfish took a little bit longer because I believe they make it fresh. Here's where it gets interesting. My man said his mouth was tingling and his tongue felt funny and when he took a drink of his tea it tasted super weird. Come to find out, the crawfish mala sauce has Szechuan peppercorn which has a numbing tingling effect to your tongue and mouth. We did not know this before we ordered. So He thought he was having an allergic reaction to something. We asked our server and she explained a traditional mala seasoning. I highly recommend that this is listed on the menu item as a forewarning to those that have never had the Mala live crawfish here before. Sadly, there were a lot of crawfish wasted tonight because He wasn't able to eat them all That seasoning just did not agree with his mouth or taste buds at all. :( But....The general tso and sesame chicken dishes were tasty! Another call out, We both ordered ice tea at the beginning and it came out pretty quickly, But no one returned to our table during our time here to offer refills or to check in on us after everything was delivered. I understand the restaurant was busy when we arrived but it slowed down while we were there. We may return to this location if we are in the area to try other dishes but unfortunately, he is unable to eat the live crawfish due to that one seasoning. Everyone was super friendly and I recommend trying the restaurant if you haven't before it.
