Orange chicken and fried rice

I'm very excited to have found my go-to Asian food spot! Absolutely incredible food! Orange chicken was crispy and hot, steamed dumplings were perfect, wonton soup is phenomenal, egg rolls were so crisp. Also the service was great. Super friendly! Very clean. And they have wifi. Will be back soon!

Overall I found this to be a C+ experience. When I arrived I spoke with the employee at the counter about the roll options and the kids meals, and he told me about them. The employee was courteous. I chose the kids chicken fried rice and a vegetable roll. I grabbed a drink, and discovered they have Maineu Root Sodas--huge score there! (Heck, I'll go back just to get a drink now!) It didn't take long to get my food. The vegetable roll was tasty, but the wrap was too thick. The chicken in the fried rice was tender, but tasted rather unremarkable. I felt that way about the rice as well. It tasted OK, but it seemed like something was missing. I'm not sure what it was though. All that said, despite the mediocrity of the food, the service made me happy and, as mentioned, I love the sodas, so I'm going to go back, try something different, and give the rice a second try. I hope I can give them a better score.

The beef and broccoli was delicious, but the other dishes tasted artificial... We ordered a large delivery with beef and broccoli, sesame chicken, and shrimp fried rice. The food arrived piping hot and large portions. The meals came with a side of rice and a soup as well. Overall a good value. The standout was undoubtedly the beef and broccoli. The sauce was tangy and a bit spicy. The beef was tender and there were large broccoli florets that looked and tasted very fresh. Unappetizingly, the fried rice has a seasoning on it that I can't quite place, almost like MSG, that tastes very artificial. The sesame chicken appeared to be made from ultra-processed, possibly previously frozen meat. Even the soup had this synthetic seasoning. Regrettably, I found these dishes difficult to enjoy and left them mostly untouched.

After several hours of cleaning yesterday-I was exhausted and opted to pick up food instead of cooking. Woks It 2U is our stand-by for Chinese food here in Leander. I've said it before and I will repeat it. The food is consistently good. The only thing I have noticed in their change of locations is that the eggrolls are a little more greasy and I don't think that has anything to do with the location. If I had my druthers the vegetables in my Kung pao would be chopped, smaller, especially the green pepper . When they changed locations for some reason, we just haven't stopped in for lunch and we both really miss interacting with the manager ! I'm sure they were probably nights. He was there, but it seemed as though he had things so well managed. He actually could go home and spend time with his family at night Below is a copy of our order. Order Summary (Pickup in Store) Combo - Kung Pao Shrimp (Spicy) - Regular x 1 Change Up the Spice Level? : Little Spicy Choose Your Side (Required) : Fried Rice Choose Your Soup (Required) : Wonton Soup Choose Your Drink (Required) : Cream Soda Size (Choose Your Drink (Required) - Cream Soda) : Medium $16.29 Beef Chop Suey - Regular x 1 Dinner Side (Required) : NO Rice, SUB Lo Mein Noodles $19.55 SubTotal $35.84 Ordering through the app is very easy and you can either pick up curbside, in the drive-through, or inside the restaurant . They make it very convenient. Although I was in an out, picking up our meal, I did note that there were many diners, which is not surprising, but is an indication of the great level of customer service that they have always provided . We'll be back !

I stopped by here after running a flat and going to discount tires next door. Staff and friendly and the shirts they sell are cool. Food is priced reasonably for the location. The General Tsao's Chicken dish was a good portion. If I were to compare it to all the General Tsao's that I have eaten, it would be a average to slightly below average. (2 stars) Breading is thick and chunks of chicken were on the smaller side. Flavor was average, a little salty. Nothing really special about the food here but it is convenient and fast. Overall, a standard affair of American Chinese food. nothing super great but nothing wrong with it either.

What an amazing lunch! Thank you, Wok It 2 U! The rice noodle dish with chicken and beef (add on) were good, and could literally feed a family of 3 or 4, depending on appetite. The sweet & sour chicken was perfect!! What a gem of an eatery!

A horrible tasting meal...nvr again

Just horrible tasting food.....it feels like someomes uncle was told he cooks good...and so they opened a store.... Just a very nasty taste...spent $50. And ill never eat there again.....only takes one time for me... Chef K, these are facts !!!!

I had a large hot and sour soup and an order of four vegetable egg rolls. The soup was good but I was disappointed there were no little chunks of pork in it. The egg rolls were the worst I've ever tried to eat, after requesting soy sauce and hot mustard, which should've accompanied this dish. They were previously frozen and gooey inside. Just awful. The beef was tender and the onions were cooked perfectly in my Mongolian beef, but there was barely any sauce. Same with my wife's dish: very little sauce. Neither dish had much flavor. My Mongolian beef was supposed to be spicy. There were three peppers on my plate, but it wasn't spicy at all. I had to drench everything with hot oil. The hot tea was too weak to drink. I'm 74 and traveled the country for 35 years during my career working for a Japanese company. I ate at least one Asian meal per week at a Chinese, Japanese, Thai or sushi restaurant. I also cook delicious stir fry dishes with scratch made sauces.

We've eaten at Hao Hao several times now, both dine in and takeout, and it has quietly become one of our regular spots. The location is easy to get to with good parking, which already makes it a win. The bright open sign was a smart addition and definitely draws your eye. Inside, the dining room is smaller with limited tables, which actually gives it a more relaxed, quaint feel compared to larger, noisier places. They offer both Chinese and Vietnamese dishes. I am not especially familiar with Vietnamese food, but I enjoy Chinese and have struggled to find a local option we really like. Hao Hao has filled that gap for us. Across multiple visits, we have tried a variety of dishes and have yet to have a bad meal. Somewhat unexpectedly, the fried rice is excellent. It even reheats well, which is not something I usually say about fried rice. This visit was with my parents. It was a little louder than our previous visits, likely because kids were out for the holidays, but still enjoyable. We started with fried dumplings, edamame, and ribs. The dumplings were nicely crisp without being greasy or water logged. I am not a rib person, but my significant other orders them every time, which speaks for itself. I shared the chicken egg foo young with my mother. This is my third time ordering egg foo young here. I usually get the vegetable version, but the chicken was just as good. Not many places serve egg foo young anymore, likely because it is messy and time consuming to make, but it remains one of my favorite dishes. Portions are generous. Two large omelets, plenty of sauce, and lots of fresh mushrooms. My mother's boyfriend ordered the pho and was very positive about it. The portion size alone was impressive. My significant other ordered the shrimp with black pepper salt and talked through the meal about how good it was. Service is table service and the staff have consistently been pleasant and easy to interact with. Food was a bit slow this visit, but that was unusual and they were clearly busy. It did not detract from the experience. Overall, this was another great meal. Reasonably priced, generous portions, and reliable quality. We will absolutely keep coming back.

He was congenial and hustling. But it appeared they didn't have enough staff and they weren't well trained (a management issue). I had to ask separately to get sweet and sout sauce with my egg roll, had to ask a second time for my crunchy noodles, and had to ask separately for soy sauce for my entree. The sense was that the server had to take care of way too many tables. Just too few staff, and insufficient training. The othet negative is that they charge extra for little add ons that most places include. On the other hand, the food was pretty good. I want this place to succeed. I did enjoy everything I ordered. Had Pork and Shrimp Spring Rolls with Peanut Sauce, Egg Drop Soup, Crunchy Noodles (that cost extra - most places don't charge for these), and Shrimp and Lobster Sauce. And it was Friday evening rush time. Just need for management to more fully train staff on how to fully take care of customers. I do like the food here. I wish they would improve the othet service related details.

It's a quiet little place, but it's quick to fill up. I sat in the right hand corner which is tucked off. I like my spot cause I felt like I was in a noir vibe. So here's a quick lil announcement though. The wait for the apps was short, but the wait for my main dish was 15-20 minutes I don't think my wait is Normally that long but just a heads up. This is the cost of cheap but great quality food. For the appetizers I got the spicy shrimp and the steam chicken dumplings. They both came out really hot so be careful lol. Man the spicy shrimp was very delicious and spicy! But not too spicy for me because I'm use to it but if you're not a spicy veteran this does have a good kick. I loved the sauce and the lettuce, which i used pieces of it to scoop and eat my shrimp in whole. This is a 5/5 recommend The dumplings came out in a pair for like 4-5 dollars I think. It was very hot and soft. The only thing tho was that the meat inside the dumpling was a lil dry compared to a lot of Asian restaurants I've tried BUT it tasted good and was flavor. 4/5. I got the Ox tail Beef broth soup and the Nasi Padang. The ox tail was very good, it has its spices but it's a simple soup with the meat, the potatoes and chopped up tomatoes all thrown into the bowl, with wontons. I used the side chili they gave me, lime into the soup. It was so much to eat for me including the rice with the bowl. Of soup was a lot. Because it was ox the price was a bit high so like 19 which is reasonable. The broth was great, it's simple yet very delectable. The Nasi Padang, was a curry based plate with two types of meat, shredded beef and chicken, two different curry flavors. One was sweet and the other was tangy which was different. It wasn't my favorite but the ox tail definitely beat it. Overall this place was really good and something yall should doif you wanna eat out on budget but good.

We arrived around 7:40p Saturday evening and this spot is bumpin busy and very lively. The outdoor patio was even packed. We were so lucky as a walk-in party of 2, a table was being cleaned so we were able to be seated quickly. Our server brought us each a tablet to order our food. I ordered the cucumber salad and general tso chicken with fried rice. My man ordered 2 lbs of live mala style crawfish $18 per pound (min 2# per order) with 5 shrimp. He also ordered the sesame chicken dish. Our food came out within 10 minutes, super fast. The crawfish took a little bit longer because I believe they make it fresh. Here's where it gets interesting. My man said his mouth was tingling and his tongue felt funny and when he took a drink of his tea it tasted super weird. Come to find out, the crawfish mala sauce has Szechuan peppercorn which has a numbing tingling effect to your tongue and mouth. We did not know this before we ordered. So He thought he was having an allergic reaction to something. We asked our server and she explained a traditional mala seasoning. I highly recommend that this is listed on the menu item as a forewarning to those that have never had the Mala live crawfish here before. Sadly, there were a lot of crawfish wasted tonight because He wasn't able to eat them all That seasoning just did not agree with his mouth or taste buds at all. :( But....The general tso and sesame chicken dishes were tasty! Another call out, We both ordered ice tea at the beginning and it came out pretty quickly, But no one returned to our table during our time here to offer refills or to check in on us after everything was delivered. I understand the restaurant was busy when we arrived but it slowed down while we were there. We may return to this location if we are in the area to try other dishes but unfortunately, he is unable to eat the live crawfish due to that one seasoning. Everyone was super friendly and I recommend trying the restaurant if you haven't before it.
