The egg and chicken look the same. Yuck!
Ray M.

Texas has the worst Chinese food! The food was lackluster to be kind. The pad Thai was whatever it was but it wasn't good. Lemon is NOT served with Pad Thai. Limes are what should go with it. The chicken and broccoli lunch special wasn't special. The fried rice was the most pathetic I've ever seen. You had to look for the chicken among all of the broccoli. It was scarce. My bag of wontons were stale. The egg rolls were burnt. The egg drop soup was decent. The food is cheap so you get what you pay for. One and done! Never again.

General Tso's Chicken, egg roll, fried rice yuck
Nisha R.

I had to create a Yelp account just to warn people. The General Tso's chicken was bready and completely lacked flavor. It didn't have that authentic General Tso's taste at all. The fried rice portion was basically one small scoop and bland, and the so-called "egg roll" was nothing more than a tiny spring roll. The chicken wings were even worse. They came out pale and unappetizing -- I actually had to cook them in my air fryer just to make them somewhat edible. The skin wasn't crispy, the meat had no seasoning whatsoever (not even salt and pepper), and the only thing on them was a sticky honey sauce with absolutely no flavor. Total waste of money. Ended up throwing it out.

Combo Vermicelli - most definitely recommend these noodles!!
Andrea G.

Amazing combination noodles I had ordered , ordered thru uber eats & came hot and fresh, most definitely recommend this place.

Not sure what type of meat this is

I called in bc I was a little confused about the buy one get one so I called and the girl didn't know what I was talking about lol Other than that the chicken and rice was good just wasn't sure about the pork part in the rice. We have this restaurant in San Antonio and it's decent.

Crab rangoons.

Went in to check out the menu since I was close by. Ordered the crab rangoons. Such a large portion and delicious! This is definitely NOT a "dine in" place. Grab & Go.

This was my Sichuan Chicken and steam rice.

The food was very, very greasy. My husband's General Tso Chicken had a weird taste, like it was not fresh. We won't order from here again. This was our first time and it was very disappointing.

Pad thai
Heather R.

This is the worst pad Thai I've ever had. Everything is overcooked, dry, no taste of traditional pad Thai tangy flavors, and salted to death. Had to throw it out bc it's not edible

So I ordered from here today. When we got it found a bug is the food. Of course Uber eats refused to refund money. I am very saddened because I thought I had finally found a decent Chinese restaurant. Very disappointed

Hunan Beef asked for peanuts, no peanuts despite $1 upcharge still being applied.

Good fast Chinese food. Fast service. Their sesame chicken and shrimp lo mein noodles are great and my kids love them.

The food was honestly gross. The shrimp tasted funky and I felt sick after eating it. The orange chicken is okay.

I ordered hot and sour pork soup. I had never had hot and sour soup with meat. Portions were generous, ingredients fresh, and the food arrived smoking hot. The noodles were soft, smooth and flavorful. The pork inside looked like tiny meatballs. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the restaurant was completely full and customers were continuing to flow in. Because the restaurant is rather small, I had to wait about 20 minutes for my order. Jim, one of the owners, said if I had ordered 3 items it would take about 45 minutes, that's why I went with one. You could easily tell that many folks at the restaurant were regulars, which means the food, service or both were exceptional. Definitely will be returning to Three Gorges...

Family…read morestyle, big portions at a good price point. - Cumin Lamb: A heaping pile of thinly sliced lamb that is tender mixed in with cumin seeds, sichuan peppercorns, fresh cilantro, and red chilis. The cumin seeds give it that signature earthy, aromatic flavor and you get a slight tingly numbing spice sensation from the chilis and peppercorn. The lamb is not overly gamey, but it still does taste like lamb so if you are not really a lamb fan, I'd choose something else. - Jumping Fish: A very popular dish! Tender white fish fillets that is so soft it melts in your mouth. It is in a flavorful oil and broth that is refreshing from the fresh jalapenos. It is a savory dish, yet still relatively mild. It commes with napa cabbage as well! This was my favorite dish and I loved the flavor combined with the white rice. - Mapo Tofu (Vegetarian): They have one with pork as well, but I got the vegetarian version. Silky soft tofu cubes in that signature mapo tofu sauce and numbing peppercorns. Despite the appearance of all the dishes, none of them were very spicy. Overall, a comforting soft, spicy, savory dish with a slight tingle. - Eggplant in garlic sauce: A deliciously sweet and umami garlic sauce. The eggplants could have been a bit more cooked through in my opinion though since it was still quite firm. I loved it still! Note that all the dishes to me were not spicy just had an underlying subtle spice or tingle (like a finishing flavor note if you will). Also, since it is sichuan the dishes are on the oilier side. You order with the cashier at the front and pay up front as well. Food comes out quickly. It is a small space with three rows of tables (maybe around 12-15 tables give or take), so it does fill up fast. I went at around 5:40 PM on a Thursday and there was no wait, but by the time we finished eating at around 7PM, the restaurant was full. House of Three Gorges was hyped up a lot on my social media feed and through word of mouth, so I came in with high expectations. Luckily, they did not disappoint.

First time here. We've been on the hunt for all of the live crawfish, Asian Cajun style in Austin…read more I found out about Mala Chili via a Foodie FB group I'm in. So here we are. We arrived around 7:40p Saturday evening and this spot is bumpin busy and very lively. The outdoor patio was even packed. We were so lucky as a walk-in party of 2, a table was being cleaned so we were able to be seated quickly. Our server brought us each a tablet to order our food. I ordered the cucumber salad and general tso chicken with fried rice. My man ordered 2 lbs of live mala style crawfish $18 per pound (min 2# per order) with 5 shrimp. He also ordered the sesame chicken dish. Our food came out within 10 minutes, super fast. The crawfish took a little bit longer because I believe they make it fresh. Here's where it gets interesting. My man said his mouth was tingling and his tongue felt funny and when he took a drink of his tea it tasted super weird. Come to find out, the crawfish mala sauce has Szechuan peppercorn which has a numbing tingling effect to your tongue and mouth. We did not know this before we ordered. So He thought he was having an allergic reaction to something. We asked our server and she explained a traditional mala seasoning. I highly recommend that this is listed on the menu item as a forewarning to those that have never had the Mala live crawfish here before. Sadly, there were a lot of crawfish wasted tonight because He wasn't able to eat them all That seasoning just did not agree with his mouth or taste buds at all. :( But....The general tso and sesame chicken dishes were tasty! Another call out, We both ordered ice tea at the beginning and it came out pretty quickly, But no one returned to our table during our time here to offer refills or to check in on us after everything was delivered. I understand the restaurant was busy when we arrived but it slowed down while we were there. We may return to this location if we are in the area to try other dishes but unfortunately, he is unable to eat the live crawfish due to that one seasoning. Everyone was super friendly and I recommend trying the restaurant if you haven't before it.

All were excellent and served piping hot and server was fantastic. Mild is a a little too mild so waitress offered pepper oil and I was able to bring to perfect heat. The house mustard is also very tasty and perfect on the eggroll with sweet and sour sauce. For lunch the next day we ordered the lunch specials with egg drop soup and very crispy vegetable egg rolls. I got the combo lo mein and my sister ordered triple delight. The spicy in the triple delight was too hot for me so will order mild and spice to my taste with pepper oil but will def order as everything was fresh. Not the best atmosphere but food def makes up for that.

We got General Tso's Chicken, right amount of heat when we chose very spicy. Kung Pao Chicken at medium spice was still spicy enough to hit our taste buds. Char Siu Chinese BBQ Pork Fried Rice had the right kind of heat and was so good makes me not want to buy any other kind of fried rice. Mandarin Style Beef also had a hit of spice level that was yummy! We got chicken egg rolls and a free chicken low mein as well to round things out. By far the best experience I've had with Bo Asian. We picked up our order on the way home and it was ready in 10 minutes after placing the order online. Epic! A pic from my plate is attached.
