I've had the place twice. First time it was solid 4 starts. I was excited to order it again, and didn't mind the 33 mins drive to pick it up. Ugh... only the crab rangoons were good- and they are great! The oil was old and you could taste it in all 3 of the fried chicken dishes we got. The honey chicken sauce was gross. The meat was grey in the sesame chicken and I'm not sure it was actually chicken. The "fried rice" was half white rice & half brown rice but it wasn't at all fried rice, no peas or carrots like in pictures shown. 60% of our $100 order is going into the trash. Texas has the worst Chinese food! The food was lackluster to be kind. The pad Thai was whatever it was but it wasn't good. Lemon is NOT served with Pad Thai. Limes are what should go with it. The chicken and broccoli lunch special wasn't special. The fried rice was the most pathetic I've ever seen. You had to look for the chicken among all of the broccoli. It was scarce. I had to create a Yelp account just to warn people. The General Tso's chicken was bready and completely lacked flavor. It didn't have that authentic General Tso's taste at all. The fried rice portion was basically one small scoop and bland, and the so-called "egg roll" was nothing more than a tiny spring roll. The chicken wings were even worse. They came out pale and unappetizing -- I actually had to cook them in my air fryer just to make them somewhat edible. I ordered a Kung pao chicken. This normally comes with peanuts. None were to be found. The bag that the food came in was filled with an orange colored oil. It literally was the whole inside of the bag. There was so much (sauce/oil) that it completely covered the Kung pao chicken, then overflowed and ended up all over the bag. Today I ordered a shrimp fried rice, wonton soup and 2 egg rolls. The shrimp was very bad tasting, almost a rotting taste. If you're looking for quality and authenticity, this is some of the worst food I've ever had. I should've known it wasn't going to be great when it offered more than just Vietnamese. I gave the benefit of the doubt. Everything was greasy and did not taste right. The beef was too chewy and had a weird taste that did not go with the Vermicelli at ALL. The Lemongrass chicken does not taste anything like Lemongrass I don't know what it is but it's weird and I couldn't eat much of it because of how greasy the overall dish was. Vermicelli bowls are supposed to be fresh tasting not greasy and making me feel sick. Also nearly all the vegetables were spoiled/browned. The egg rolls were disgusting and inedible, no one in my family wanted them. The wings I thought were going to be crispy but were just greasy with sickeningly sweet sauce and that's it. All I was able to eat was the plain rice, which wasn't very tasty but was the only non-greasy thing. This is not where you get quality food. Literally everything was poor quality it's not even funny. They also don't care about your special online requests at all, despite offering accommodations. Just take off special requests instead of having me waste my time.
