We called in a good sized order that included won tons, crab Rangoon, hot & sour soup, sesame chicken, General Tao's chicken, and Szechuan beef extra spicy. All the portions were very generous, plenty to share, and absolutely delicious! My favorite was the Szechuan beef. When we picked up the order, which was ready quickly as promised, the server was very friendly and helpful with the extra items we asked for. The restaurant inside hasn't changed much over the years but may have been updated since our last visit. The location is very convenient for us and I think the quality is the best it has ever been. I suspected something was wrong because when I walked into the restaurant it was filled with smoke, like something was burning or got burnt. Wonton Soup is a chicken broth with a pork dumpling soup, not a beef broth with a beef dumpling soup?? I ordered the food to pickup at 7:15pm. It wasn't ready until 7:25pm!?! I tipped 20% for soup we had to trash 2 bowls!! The General Tso's chicken was more like sweet and sour chicken that wasn't even spicy?? Never ordering from here again. When it's 48° outside you eat pho! I ordered the Pho Tai Noodle Soup and it came with all the fixings your tummy could hope for! The broth is so full of flavor I almost didn't add any sriracha (but obviously I still had to because what's pho without a little spice!?) The meat was tender and delicious. Accompanied by crisp bean sprouts and crunchy jalapeños. The only con I can think of is that it came with lemon rather than lime but all in all, I cannot recommend this bowl of pho enough! For my husband whom is not a huge pho fan, I ordered sesame chicken. I was a bit confused at first to see the naked without sauce, but there was a large bowl on the side more than enough sauce for the chicken so if you're a sauce lover it's perfect! I ordered sesame chicken with steamed rice and what I got was lo mein noodles and sweet n sour chicken with a little drizzle of sauce on it and sesame seeds. The chicken lo mein had no flavor with barely any meat and was dry as a bone. I had to get in the car and go up to the restaurant to ask for my rice and sauce for the noodles. While waiting for a pick up order, the restaurant had only two tables occupied with customers that had no food in front of them and very upset faces. The service is great, everyone is so kind and friendly! The food comes out, steaming, hot, fresh, so tasty. I did a combo noodle plate which had beef, chicken, and shrimp which was perfect for me, because I was able to try all their proteins! Not expecting a lot from a small, unassuming fusion restaurant in a strip mall but I have to admit that I'm impressed. So maybe the appetizer egg roll and shrimp balls were pretty standard "take out" but my half Asian and a VERY picky diner was quite impressed with the main course. Flat wide noodle combo BUT I asked for "extra extra spicy " and to add egg. Not only did they handle my special request but there was a huge amount of meat and vegetables. They definitely didn't skimp on this order. Flavor was spot on and now I have lunch for tomorrow, too. If you're nice and always remember to tip your staff, you can get some real hot mustard instead of the silly packets of sauce. I'll definitely be back to try some of the daily specials!
