Vietnamese Noodles soup/Hu tiu go-mi go
    Tom L.

Anyone searching for a great flavored, authentic, local Asian restaurant, Chopsticks is an amazing deal. For the price you pay, I got a full, hearty, bowl of Hu Tieu soup. We all know ramen and pho but Hu Tieu is another type of Asian soup mostly Vietnamese with egg noodles with a flavorful chicken stock. If your sick, come get it, if your hungry, come get it, if your bored, come get it. Bouncy chewy egg noodles, slices of pork meat, fresh greens, and a flavorful soup base. It's a must to add the $5 on the side pork bones, it's more meat in the bowl. The pork meat is all off the bone, it's been tenderized. After the bowl, my mouth wasn't dry so I have a feeling they didn't add or did add very little msg which I appreciate it versus other dishes I've had and had to drink a bottle of water to moisturize my mouth.

This was my second time at Chopsticks, got a to-go order and the food blew me away. The Beef bulgogi bai was like a flavor bomb exploded in your mouth and the Spare ribs was something else too. What I loved the most in the spare ribs bowl was surprisingly the Brussel sprout, they were so good. Needless to say, the flavor was consistent in both the visits. I am going to Chopsticks again

This place is so tasty. It's a little bit pricey, honestly, a little too expensive for me.But once in a blue moon to go and have their food, I will definitely go and spend the money to go and do it.I just wouldn't do it all the time. Very oriental ambiance in there very bright, as well as calming. It's kind of hard to explain unless you go and see it for yourself. The ladies give great service. They know exactly how to make their food and what they're doing.

I was very impressed with this establishment. The owners are extremely nice and welcoming, and the food is incredibly delicious, I want to come back again and again!

Chopsticks is one of those places where you walk inside and are immediately bombarded with a ton of "AI slop" artwork, a chill piano 12-hour YouTube mix playing in the corner, and separate menus: one specifically for dinguses like myself and another for native speakers. You immediately know the food is going to crush. From what I learned from my coworkers, Chopsticks initially was a food truck specializing in Asian street food before moving to their brick-and-mortar location in Hutto. I've been to Chopsticks three times now, and I plan to go back in the near future. The first time I went, I ordered the pork spare ribs bowl with white rice and sautéed Brussels sprouts. I went on a Friday night, riding solo. I also got the Lemongrass Peach Tea. That dinner was a silent reflection of the past, present, and future. The ribs slid right off the bone and into my mouth. The rice was fantastic. I had never had Brussels sprouts before this night. I'm late to the party. Multiple centuries late. How did I not know how good those are? Jeez Louise. The way Chopsticks sautéed them was perfect. I knew I would order it again. As I was shoving the food in my face, one of the owners came by and asked me how it was. All I could give was a thumbs up, or else pork and Brussels sprouts would come out of my mouth. The second time I went, I invited my coworker and we went for lunch. I ordered the exact same thing again. The Lemongrass Peach Tea is perfect too. I cleaned the plate up the second time. The food was just as good. The third time I went, I went with my girlfriend. She thoroughly enjoyed it. I got the Coconut and Kumquat Tea instead of the Lemongrass Peach Tea since she ordered that one. It was pretty good, but the Lemongrass Peach Tea is so good, I think I'll order that again next time. The pork spare ribs bowl was incredible. I feel like I should order it next time. I envision the Pork Spare Ribs Bowl as Nikola Jokić: consistently putting up 20 points (pork spare ribs), 10 rebounds (the white rice), and 10 assists (sautéed Brussels sprouts). This is Hutto's hidden gem.

This place is PHENOMENAL. Best brussel sprouts I have ever had in my life, rice is always perfect, and the meat is fantastic. I also ordered a peach tea drink that was SO good. This spot has quickly become a go to for us. Service is amazing, the nicest people always working.

Chopsticks is definitely the best Asian restaurant you'll find in Hutto. They offer some unique fusion dishes, combining Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean ingredients, to name a few. We were able to try out quite a bunch of the local favorites like their Hu Tieu Go Noodle Soup, Signature Wings, Pull it Off Bao, Bulgogi Fries, and our favorite Spareribs Bowl. Every dish was perfectly crafted and tasted wonderful. There's an obvious passion that goes into their food. The service was very friendly and respectful. We appreciated everything about Chopsticks. Definitely going to add them into our monthly rotation.

Came in for an early dinner. The person working in the front was super friendly, the inside is really clean and has a relaxing vibe. Bao bun was sooo good, rib bone slid right out. The spicy mango beef dish was also really good. Not too spicy and a bit sweet. I would come back

This is a great Vietnamese food option in the Hutto area. Service is quick and friendly. It is a spacious, clean, and well-organized restaurant. Would recommend for the locals and visitors.

Wow--what an unforgettable dining experience at Chopstick ATX! This place absolutely blew me away with its bold, delicious fusion meals. Every dish is a creative masterpiece, clearly crafted by a chef who knows how to mix flavors in the most exciting ways. But let's talk about those ribs--tender doesn't even begin to cover it. The meat was so perfectly cooked that the bone practically slid right off without effort. Every bite was juicy, flavorful, and left me wanting more... though I didn't leave a single bite behind. Clean plates all around! Chapstick ATX is the kind of place you'll want to tell everyone about--and then keep as your own little secret. Five stars, hands down. Can't wait to go back!

Chopsticks is a recent addition to the Hutto food scene. Just down the road from Hutto highschool in a new stripmall. If offers Asian fusion dishes in a clean, bright restaurant I opted for the beef mango bowl (flank steak tossed with crunchy mango, carrot, onion in Szechuan sauce with steamed rice) and a vietnamese ice coffee. It was very good. My fellow diners all went with the Pork Spareribs Bowl (4 pieces of tender pork ribs with a tangy Asian barbecue sauce served with white rice and sautéed brussel sprouts. It was the star of the show! The service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommended!

I really loved this place a lot. I did take out because I had a long day and wanted to try a bunch of food at home. Restaurant was cozy and seemed clean. The lady at the counter was so incredibly sweet . I ordered the garlic butter wings, the chili jam wings, the cheese fries, the bulgoli bao, the pork belly bar, and the mango beef. The Mango beef was definitely the star and my favorite of the dishes. The julienned mango and carrot were a perfect balance to the savory spiciness of the sauce, which was a perfect heat level imo. The beef was sliced thin, and very tender and delicious. The bulgolgi bao was delicious, the meat tender, and the mayo, pickled onions, and cilantro tasted great on top. I found the meat a bit sweeter than I would like, but since I split the food and only ate one, I didn't find it overwhelming. The pork belly bao was delishly rich and fatty, which I love. I loved the spice on tbe meat, which I think may have been Chinese 5 spice, I think there was a hint of cinnamon. The wings were both awesome. I think I might have preferred the garlic, over the chili jam if I had to pick but both were crispy and perfectly cooked. I enjoyed the fries on the drive home and I really liked them a lot. I wish they could have put more cheese powder because it went super well with the sweet potato fries. I really loved this place and wanna get the Mango beef again along with the bulgoli fries next time. I spent about 90 dollars tip included and found it reasonable, especially for the quality, because my husband and I were able to eat a well sized meal for 2 days along with some white rice.

The bowl itself came loaded with meat--they definitely weren't skimping to save money here. The meat-to-noodle ratio felt great, and every bite actually had substance instead of leaving me fishing around for toppings. As for the broth, I landed somewhere in the middle. It wasn't quite as clear or light as I personally prefer, leaning toward a fattier, milkier undertone that almost reminded me of a Vietnamese pho take on tonkotsu. The flavor itself was undeniably very good, but the richness may have been a bit too much for me personally. One way I usually judge how much I love a pho broth is whether I want to sip the bowl down to the very end, and this one wasn't quite light enough for me to want to do that. I've had richer and deeper pho flavors elsewhere, but I still appreciated the flavor profile here and could absolutely see why this place is so popular. It feels hearty, comforting, and satisfying in a way that clearly resonates with many people. Despite how packed the restaurant was, the atmosphere ended up being surprisingly pleasant. Service moved very quickly, which honestly impressed me given how busy everything felt. Even with the crowd, I didn't dislike the spacing or setup at all--the restaurant still felt comfortable, and the sound of people enjoying their food all around added to the lively, welcoming energy rather than making it feel overwhelming. Overall, Pho Phong Lưu ended up being one of those places where I completely understood the hype, even if it didn't become my personal favorite pho spot. While the broth leaned richer than my preference, I still enjoyed the experience and definitely look forward to trying other dishes next time.
