    Shrimp lo mein Egg roll
    Cece H.

I ordered from here tonight cause I was in the mood for some Chinese. I ordered shrimp lo mein, egg rolls and bout & sour soup. The hot and sour soup wasn't my favorite. I think the green onions threw me off. Everything else was really good and fresh. I didn't wait more than 10 minutes for my food. It wasn't really busy inside. It's a nice place and they were playing some good music for the customer eating inside. I will definitely be back for more

This was supposed to be a noodle. And I don't know what it that. Stir fried noodle to be exact.

I ordered food from this place almost every week, and my order came wrong and then I called them to let them know, what they can do for me and the guy on the phone told me there is nothing he can do. So I paid for something and got other and the taste is awful this time. Maybe the chef today was tired or they changed. Very upset about this.

First time trying out Fortune Garden through DoorDash delivery; it was still hot and tasted fresh upon arrival. I got sesame chicken, steamed rice, and wonton soup. My boyfriend got Chicken lo-mien and egg rolls. The egg rolls had a weird aftertaste, but otherwise, nothing wrong with our food at all. They offer lunch specials; mine was the sesame chicken plate and it comes with a choice of soup for about $15. And they have some apps that are B1G1.

Shrimp and vegetables with a custom-made sauce with white rice on the side. It was fabulous!

I went here for a late lunch. It is a very nice restaurant in the shopping center across from H-E-B. I walked in and the restaurant was very clean and comfortable. We were the only people in the restaurant. We were seated promptly. This restaurant serves both Vietnamese and Chinese food. They have a generous menu. I was able to alter my dish to make it sugar-free. I was very impressed, because even though none of the sauces on the menu were sugar free, The server communicated my food restriction to the chef, and the chef made me a wonderful sauce with soy sauce which he mixed with corn starch to make it thicker. He then poured it over shrimp and vegetables and gave me white rice on the side. It was absolutely amazing! I totally took note of how he made that sauce, and I'm going to make it at home! I felt this was over and above, because they could've easily said, no I'm sorry we don't have anything sugar-free, but they did not! My meal was so generous that I brought half of it home to eat later. The prices were quite reasonable. We bought three main dishes, and including Tax , my bill was less than $50. I will definitely be back!

    Pho Tai with added shrimp

For the moment we sat down our waitress was very attentive. My friend Cecelia got steamed potstickers and I ordered egg rolls as appetizers. They were hot and well seasoned. I ordered pho with well done steak and shrimp can't lie I was praying the broth was good. This broth was so flavorful and rich I instantly fell in love. The pho was hot but I could not stop eating it! My friend got shrimp friend rice and said it was good too. This place is a hidden treasure that I'm glad I found!

    Jasmine tea: very weak

This place has good food, I ordered the Bun Cha Gio with Thit Nuong. The dish was served in a great portion. My friend ordered Pho Tai Chin and another friend ordered Mongolian beef. Our order came out quickly, however mine did have a piece of plastic in the food! I didn't point it out as I didn't want to cause a scene. But there should be better care when it come to preparation. Also, the jasmine tea I ordered was very weak, just a teabag in a teapot. I could have brought that from home. I probably won't be here often, as there's lots of other Vietnamese restaurants nearby.

Noodle burnt on the outside with no sauce on the inside.

I've ordered from this restaurant before. Usually not bad althoigh my husband says their chicken is subpar (tastes like low-grade meat). But I liked them enough to order again. I work long hours and tried to place an order for delivery. They closed before my runner got there (within their business hours). So I tried another day to call in an order for pickup. They quoted me $21 for the exact same dish. $4 more than what it cost for delivery. I questioned the price and she said that's the price. I told her what happened with my precious delivery order. She didn't even address the issues I'd had, simply stated again that that was the price. I canceled my order. Thought maybe third time was the charm so I placed the order for delivery (the cheaper price) and it arrived this time. And while the flavor was goood, my pan fried noodles were dry/burnt with no sauce in the middle. In fact, about half of the noodles were CRUNCHY. Guess I'll keep looking for my go-to Asian restaurant. This place doesn't seem to care about the quality of either their food or their customer service.

Since ownership changed, so has quality. I usually dine in. There is food splattered on the walls adjacent to the tables. It's a choose your own adventure when getting your own utensils, You order and pay via a computer kiosk and takeaway containers are extra $. A tip is part of the process. The tofu is straight out the container. If you ask to heat it in a grill the response has been that the food has already been prepped. $6.50 for a boiled prepped chicken breast ON TOP of the near 10 bucks for salad and carb. Today got the healing soup. It was weightwatchers 80's soup with cabbage, celery, canned tomatoes and red pepper flakes. Not bad, but not healing or worth 6 bucks for a cup. The noodles are nice and bouncy, but aside from the oil to keep them sticking, you have to pay for any seasoning (dressing, Sriracha etc). I have come back the last half dozen times and it hasn't improved. I'm sorry to say I will no longer be a patron. The prices are not reflective of quality or service. It's a modernized American version where you can grill taco meat and other items. We came in recently on Easter to celebrate a birthday. The place wasn't packed, but there were large parties coming in after us. We stuck with the regular AYCE and were fine with the galbi and other meats. The soondubu (spicy tofu) soup was lacking flavor. It had the spicy flavor. All I tasted was the chili pepper. All the meats were good. The only downside this visit was the service. Our server kept forgetting a few of the items we asked for. It wasn't terrible, but it did slow things down for us. To be fair, he might have been juggling a lot of tables. I would still come again to eat the AYCE BBQ as it's convenient.
