Mediocre food. Service is terrible. Decor is a letdown. The server with braces seems inept at best. He couldn't seem to figure out the three tables in the restaurant. One guy got up to request sriracha, another table had to flag him down to pay. We had to flag him down just to order. Won't be back.

I have heard great things about Jaiwai from my friends who frequent the area. This was a great spot to meet up with a friend and catch up over lunch. The lunch prices were good! $2 off their regular price for our dishes. I got the pad see ewe with pork, which I really enjoyed. The only downside was that the vegetables were very undercooked. The carrots and especially the broccoli were hard and tasted half raw. My friend got the green curry fried rice and said it was spicy and really good too. The service was fast, and I appreciate how our server told us to take our time after we paid. The parking spots in front of the restaurant were full, but I found nearby free street parking. They could definitely add some decor to liven up the atmosphere.

I have been coming here since I was a student at Southwestern! I really love the flavor of the dishes as well as the generous portion sizes. I'm glad to see they're doing well - they recently added booths, expanding the seating inside. Jaiwai is an essential when visiting Georgetown and adds variety to the square!

A gem of a spot for Thai food in Georgetown, TX. The place looks slightly uninviting from the outside but it's all about what comes from the inside, right? Their 5/5 spicy level isn't that spicy if you tend to eat spicy food often. Jaiwai serves up what we believe is the best pad see ew in the Austin area. We havent found another dish on their menu that we absolutely have to get each time like the see ew but we're working through the menu. The service was good too, I've always liked the staff here.

One of the best Thai food. Came here with Vegan Jain Friend, and for a change I also tried Vegan way and it was really good. We went their for dinner and ordered Fried Tofu, Spring Roll, Pad Thai, Yellow Curry and Red Curry. , and every single item was perfectly cooked. I highly recommend this place. And no I am not vegan, next time will try their meat options and will share my review. :) #vegan #Jain #noIamnotvegan :)

Tried DA's Thai Cuisine for pickup and had a little bit of a mixed experience…read more First things first -- the place itself is nice, clean, and the staff is personable. No complaints there. Ordering and pickup were smooth. Now let's talk food. The deep-fried egg rolls (stuffed with carrots, cabbage, and clear bean noodles, served with sweet and sour sauce) were really good. Crispy, hot, and flavorful. Solid start. The steamed dumplings? Now those were the star of the show. Made with pork, shrimp, crab meat, green onions, and carrots -- and served with their special sauce. That sauce paired perfectly with the dumplings. Balanced, flavorful, and just worked. Out of everything we ordered, this was the clear home run. I also ordered what I believed to be the Thai papaya salad. From what I can tell comparing ingredients, I did receive the Thai-style version (shredded papaya, garlic, fish sauce, tomatoes, lime juice, palm sugar, topped with peanuts). Unfortunately, I was not impressed. I've had papaya salad at other Thai spots where the peanuts are roasted and really incorporated into the dish. Here, it felt like the peanuts were just tossed in at the end. The overall flavor just didn't come together, and I wouldn't order that again. My husband had the Thai fried rice (his second time ordering it), and he thoroughly enjoys it -- so that's a win on his side. For me, out of the egg rolls, papaya salad, and steamed dumplings -- the dumplings were the only real standout. Would I go back? Probably not. But that's just my experience -- don't let me be the deciding factor. Give it a try and see what hits for you.

I literally can't say that there's one thing I don't like getting here. Sometimes we wanna keep it simple and we literally just get the pad Thai with chicken. We always ask for extra peanuts and extra lime which just puts it over the top for us. Tom kha soup is always wonderful on a cold day and the Thai tea here is unbeatable. They have regular portions and lunch portions for several popular items which is great if you do come for lunch, you also get a side salad and a tad smaller portion. It's perfect because it's still very filling and it saves you a little bit of money if you're looking for great Thai food on your own or to take someone to have , please come here. The restaurant isn't very big and seating gets crowded when it's packed but most days the turnover is pretty fast and the wait is never long. It's is not very loud for how small a space it is which is a plus.

Yelp fam, I finally made it over to Lemongrass by Sip Saam Thai for lunch, and let me tell you…read more.. this was one of those meals where you look at the bill afterward and go, "Whew... okay, so we're doing fine dining prices at lunchtime now." My partner and I spent just over $100 for lunch, and while some dishes hit the mark, others left me wanting a little more of that classic Thai punch. Tom Yum Soup (Shrimp, Hot Pot Style) I'm particular about Tom Yum -- like, very particular -- because when it's done right, it's one of the most aromatic, layered soups out there. Traditionally, you should get that unmistakable hit of lemongrass, kaffir lime leaf, galangal, and the brightness of lime juice all dancing together. This version was good, but it didn't quite give me the lemongrass-forward aroma I expect. I also didn't catch the bamboo shoots that usually round out the texture. The broth had heat (I ordered a 6), and the shrimp were cooked well, but the depth of flavor wasn't as bold or herbaceous as I'm used to. Still enjoyable -- just not the Tom Yum I measure all others against. Crab Fried Rice (Spicy 6) Now this was the star of the table. Plenty of crab -- and I mean throughout the rice, not just sprinkled on top for decoration. The rice itself was smooth and well‑fried, not greasy, with each grain separate (as it should be). The white and green onions added that perfect little punch of freshness and bite. This is one of those dishes where you keep going back for "just one more bite" even though you know you're full. If you come here, this is the dish I'd recommend without hesitation. Pineapple Curry (Beef, Spicy 5) The curry had a nice balance of sweet and savory, and the beef was tender. I didn't get the same "wow" factor as the fried rice, but it was solid. The spice level was accurate -- a 5 gave enough heat to keep things interesting without overpowering the coconut base. Fried Dumplings Crispy, hot, and exactly what you expect from fried dumplings. Nothing groundbreaking, but nothing wrong either. J. Lohr Chardonnay A smooth pour and a generous one. I wasn't mad at it. Overall, service was friendly and the food came out quickly. The space itself is clean and modern, and it's a nice spot for a casual lunch date. Just know that the prices lean more "weekend dinner" than "weekday lunch." There were some hits, some misses, but overall a good experience. The crab fried rice alone might bring me back. The Tom Yum needs a little more lemongrass love, but everything was fresh and well‑prepared. If you're in Cedar Park and craving Thai, this spot is worth a visit -- just be prepared for the price tag. #supportlocal

I have been wanting to try BKK FOOD TRUCK for quite some time. Since it has been a dismal rainy day…read more-I decided to give it a try. I ordered an appetizer as well as 3 main course dishes since there was 3 of us here for dinner. I ordered Fried Tofu with Peanut Sauce. I must say I've been searching for the texture and flavor of the same dish that I ordered in Houston a few years ago. I've ordered it numerous times but never found one that duplicated what I remember as so very tasty. Well-this time I hit the jackpot!!! It was the exact taste and texture with the perfect peanut sauce accompanying it. It was fantastic!! One of the entre'es was Pineapple Curry. I chose Shrimp as my protein for an up-charge. It came with a good quantity of white rice. It didn't denote a spice level but when I dug into it -there were some beautiful shrimp swimming in a red curry. I felt it likely it would have some heat and it did. The heat came at the back of my tongue but curiously it tasted so good I couldn't stop eating it!!! It had some grape tomatoes (I think) cooked in it. I didn't care for the flavor of those -?over ripe?- There were a small quantity so I didn't let it stop me. I did take frequent sips of my cold drink in between my bites. The second entre'e was Fried Rice with scrambled egg and peas&carrots&onion. My son chose Chicken Breast as his protein. He doesn't eat veggies so I requested they didn't add them. When we examined the dish they had indeed removed them. He was very impressed and said it was delicious. The 3rd dish was Drunken Spicy Noodles -which was made with Thai Basil and Peppers. I requested the Thai Basil and Peppers be held and advised we wanted no heat in that dish. My husband doesn't tolerate any spice-even black pepper. His dish looked lovely with sauce covered noodles and lots of thinly sliced beef on top. I served it up. Sadly, he immediately advised me it was too spicy for him. I took a piece of broccoli & a small piece of beef and sure enough when I ate it there was enough spice that my tongue and mouth got hot & numb from the spice level. It was actually too much heat for me too. I actually looked at the ticket for the order that was attached to the bag and it clearly had indicated no heat, no peppers and no spice for that last dish. I did withhold a star due to that. It was evident that our food was prepared and served hot as it was still quite warm when it was delivered. I felt that indicated good service. I can't really speak to the setting, I am familiar with that area of food trucks, but since we had delivery, it really didn't apply. I definitely would try BKK again, but next time in person as I feel like you can't clearly communicate in an online order regarding specificity to your requirements for your food.
