Went on a Wednesday afternoon to try their Happy Hour menu. Ate and drank pretty much everything on HH menu. None of the food was bad decent portion for the size and quality. Cocktails were excellent, ordered the Queen Elizabeth, Rosa Merino, and Sharapova. Service from the bartender was very personable and attentive. Definitely will be back to try the dinner menu and more cocktails.
The menu and the ambiance and the service all excite me to come back. It was especially the ambiance that brought us in after wed night market, or rather toward the end as it was so loud. The Restobar has nice lighting and a feeling of calm. The bar tender was kind of managing all at 8:30 pm and he was a very nice man. It was just too late and i was not planning to spend on drinks, but the mixed drink creations looked so tempting but they were all $16 (shirt did not snap pics of the fun looking drinks menu!), but i just was not prepared financially tonight. We got $8.00 beers which was fair. But i was a little hungry but not in position buy dinner either but i can't wait to try more from the looks; maybe after my next pay check. They're definitely not more expensive than other places; dishes were pretty much between $22 and $26 with maybe a couple things a little higher; appetizers were more like $15 average. I asked the waiter what he recommended in the shareables and he said the empanadas because they had 3 on a plate and larger portion than others. I also got the fries, since they were only $6.00 it was hard to resist. The empanadas were tasty with a nice crisp flaky crust. However it tasted deep fried to me which is not my preferred variation due to extra fat concerns. I had been expecting flaky baked crust, but it was crisp from the fryer. I got the french fries as an after thought since they were only $6.00 just to try. They seemed homemade with larger and thicker than usual pieces. Some of the pieces tasted crisp enough and others were a little chewing and tough where they should be crisp, and i wondered if they had been sitting a while after having been made a while ago? But if you're hungry and broke; the price is right for those. I'll be back to try more one day. 4 stars vs 5 for fries n empanadas.
We had a reservation here for dinner on 31DEC25, but we ended up seating ourselves in an empty table next to the window overlooking La Rosa. Restaurant was busy, with just the right amount of patrons. Prices at Warike seemed steep in comparison to La Rosa, but everything was worth every dime. Everything we ordered there was flavorful & delicately prepared and delicious, 10/10. Everything was perfect with excellent ambience and customer service. A definite recommendation for all to try: I ordered LOMO SALTADO CLÁSICO (GFA) $28 and this was a 10/10: Traditional Peruvian style beef tenderloin, red onion, tomatoes, cilantro, garlic, soy, lomo sauce and oyster sauce, french fries & rice. We also ordered TAGLIATELLE AL ROCOTO $25 and this was a 9/10 for me: Fried prawns & tagliatelle pasta, served with roasted peppers, fresh peas, and house rocoto lemon sauce. And lastly we ordered empanadas and these were a hit, lightly fried on the exterior, 10/10: EMPANADAS DEL LOMO $16 Crispy pastry filled with beef tenderloin, red onion, tomato, cilantro, served with rocoto aoili. EMPANADAS DE POLLO $15 Crispy pastry filled with our traditional Aji de Gallina, served with parsley aioli.
Husband and I dined here last night for Valentine's Day. We set reservations online and table was ready upon arrival. Ambiance was not romantic as we thought it maybe from their ads. That's okay. However the service was not good. No water given, asked for it. Refills asked for it. Where's our server? Who's our server? Had to asked the host who I guess was also our server ,"when can we order our food?". We ordered our drinks and appetizers than felt like we were forgotten about it. After multiple attempts of flagging down other employees for hot sauce etc for our dish. Our experience was done within 45 mins. Not a memorable way to spend Valentine's Day but hey maybe it was an off day for the establishment.
We decided to try Peruvian food during our stay in Santa Rosa. They somehow lost our reservation when we called to confirm but not a problem as they are not that busy on a Sunday evening. The place is clean, spacious and pleasantly decorated. As usual we ordered a bunch of different appetizers/main to share family style. All the appetizers were pretty good especially the two different ceviche. There were decent amount of seafood in both of the orders, very fresh and well seasoned with a good balance of tanginess and spiciness. The beef empanadas, crab pastries were good but didn't stand out as much. The Quinoa salad was very refreshing and good portioned. All the main courses were very flavorful and well received. Beef Tenderloin was most popular, very tender and tasty. Popular with both adults and kids. (5/5) Seafood over rice loaded with prawns, shirmps, etc. very tasty. (4/5) Tacu Tacu, looks similar to the seafood rice dish except instead of rice it's a rice and bean cake underneath. Portion was large, a little carb heavy. (3.5/5) Bean stew with short rib, very tender and tasty shredded short rib served with white rice and white bean stew. The bean stew was very creamy which went very well with the meat. (4/5) Crab and shrimp ravioli, it was OK. (3.5/5) Octopus grilled came the last, texture was chewier than what we are used to but were fresh and well seasoned. (3.5/5) Kids fried chicken tender came with two large pieces of fried chicken and appeared to be well liked by the kids. We also had some drinks and enjoyed the Latin dance performed by a cheerful young woman. Service was very friendly, a very nice dining experience I'd be happy to recommend.
Another wonderful experience. Today we just wanted a refreshing bite and cocktail for lunch. We were set on one place downtown, but after parking I saw Warike and remembered our last amazing experience so we changed our game plan. We had the Warike Ceviche - AMAZING. So flavorful, so fresh, and hit the spot. We shared a couple of cocktails that were expertly made by our bartender, The Cotati and Vamos. Both were delicious, but The Cotati was my favorite and paired best with the ceviche. Wonderful light lunch date with my hubby.
It was very quiet and the server/ bartender was friendly and very patient and kind! Came here to celebrate my mother's 84th birthday. They brought out a piece of cake with a candle which was a sweet and tasty surprise. The drinks were an artistic and delicious. Thank you for making it memorable experience!
Wanted a place to meet some friends for lunch before going to the Alexander valley for a weekend. Chose Warike. Really liked the food, particularly the Ceviche. Solid drinks. Only issue was the waiter, while generally nice, clearly forgot the drink for one of our party and we had to remind him 3x. Then instead of "my bad - it is one me", he gave us a tiny bit of attitude. It didn't taint our time and we would go back. Just had to highlight it. Would go again.
We had dinner at Warike on a Friday night. There was a large party upstairs so it was a bit noisy. Also we were seated across from the door to the kitchen and a table used for servers to utilize which was unfortunate since there were 3 open tables behind us that would have been better placement. Besides all of that we had good interactions with our server and other staff members. We ordered two vegan dishes - the ceviche and risotto. The ceviche was bright and delicious and I liked the crispy plantains served with it. The risotto dish was creamy and had lots of fresh vegetables. All in all we enjoyed the food and had a nice dinner.

Whenever I think about a nice dinner date with my partner or girlfriends in Santa Rosa, I always navigate to Warike. It's automatic at this point. The ambiance of this restaurant is bustling with excited energy. From the neon lights on the wall, to the Reggaeton playing on the speakers, you know you're in for a fun time as soon as you sit down. Don't get me wrong, this is not a quiet sit down dinner in my opinion. You come here for a fun time. Food is consistent and always sooo aesthetically pleasing. An instagrammars perfect shot will always be available with their pretty drinks and seamless plating. On top of the thoughtful presentation, the food is actually good! Yes a restaurant that can do it both. I love getting their beef empanadas, chicken empanadas, and fried cream cheese wontons for appetizers. For an entree, I go back and forth between the Aji de Gallina (shredded chicken in a creamy yellow pepper Peruvian sauce, pecans, parmesan cheese, served with rice) or Arroz Con Mariscos (Peruvian style paella, fresh seafood in fried rice with aji panca & yellow pepper sauce, green peas, bell peppers, white wine, cilantro, cheese). My partner loves their salmon dish and my friends have enjoyed their pasta dishes as well. I will say the one dish I was not impressed by was the traditional Peruvian beef tenderloin plate -- it tasted like something I can and have made at home. This is our second time here since they opened. We ordered the Aji De Gallina and Tallarines Verdes. When Warike first opened we got the Aji de Gallina, it was an amazing dish, the meat was soft and tender as you would hope. This time the dish was not nearly as good. The dish had larger chunks of chicken that seemed to be cooked for too long. The Tallatines Verdes was delicious. The meat was juicy and tender and the pasta was delicious as well. Five stars across the board for ambiance, food, and service. Warlike exceeded our expectations. We ordered two different ceviches (clásico, and crema) and a salmon dish and everything was delicious. Sulema our server was very attentive, knowledgeable, and patient with all of our questions. She gave us the best recommendations. Looking forward to dining here again real soon. read more

Service was attentive and excellent by the lovely Sophia. Warike started out with a new menu in 2024. I've had this restaurant on my radar for about a year and am thrilled to finally had the opportunity to try it. Starters are excellent - you cannot go wrong starting with the any ceviche, chicken empanadas, and yucca fries. We sat on a bar top outdoors in the afternoon sun. Perfect place for a pup to hang out too. Salmon was a tad fishy for me, and the pesto sauce made up for it. Adobo Pork was tender and fall off the bone with a creamy asparagus risotto. Save room for dessert - Passionfruit Panna Cotta And the Alfajor con Helado - get the Lúcuma - tastes like butterscotch read more

All the positive Yelp reviews led me here when I needed to meet up with some friends. The menu was intriguing as I've only had Peruvian food a handful of times. Ian was our server and he took his time explaining the various dishes to us. We chose the Ceviche Classico which was exploding with the most incredible flavors. The marinade was one of the tastiest I've had before. We asked for plantain chips to help scoop up the remaining sauce. The chips were utter perfection- very thin & light. The restaurant is also known for their cocktails so of course we all ordered one! I had the Santa Rosa which I loved. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because being a vegetarian & gluten free (I know, so boring) there were very few options for me. I made an exception with the ceviche- eating all but the fish. We also arrived during happy hour time- and learned that there was none on Fridays. Service & flavors are top notch! read more

Great find! First let me say this place isn't cheap, cocktails are $15+, ceviches $20+, etc. But at least the food and ingredient quality is worth it. The staff was really nice and the place super clean. Our food came out quickly. We recommend trying the Causa Marina for appetizers and then the Salmon con Crema de Poro. read more

Dinner was delicious, service was good and drinks were well balanced. It was a busy Friday night but we felt well taken care of. Food menu had some classics and some new to me dishes, which is great! Everyone was very happy with their dishes and their cocktails. We will happily go back! read more

Went here for the first time this week. We come to Santa Rosa often but never stopped in before. They were able to sit us right away in a great outside spot. The service and food was great. We had drinks and one entry each. We saw a lot of yummy appetizers going to other tables. Everything looked great. My wife's veggie lentil dish was kind of like an Imjadra. Mine was a seafood and tasty rice. Like a piaya dish. I posted a full menu pic too. I recommend checking this place out. read more

We are in need of rain in California, but If we aren't going to have rain, we might as well enjoy the 68 degree weather, and we did just that with an outdoor lunch at Warike in downtown Santa Rosa. The restaurant has nice outdoor seating, as well as a beautiful interior. My wife and I started with a glass of Campuget Rosé. I ordered Aji de Gallina, and my wife had Arroz con Mariscos; both were suggestions from our server - Amanda. My wife is gluten-intolerant, and the menu has clearly marked gluten-free options. Amanda described the Ahi de Gallina as comfort food, and I agree. Both plates were served steaming hot, and not long after we ordered. We took our time and enjoyed the atmosphere and beautiful weather, and Amanda checked on us regularly. We didn't feel rushed, and the food was delicious. I had some of the Arroz con Mariscos, and it was almost an explosion of flavor in my mouth. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her meal. The service was great, the food was great, and the weather was great. Amanda was fun, as well as very knowledgeable about the menu and gluten issues. Also, the bathroom was extremely clean and nicely updated, like the rest of the restaurant. This is the perfect date night or girl's night out spot in case you want to dress up and splurge a little. Very cute atmosphere with fun mixed drinks and tasty food. Delicious Peruvian food, fun and lively ambiance and good service. I loved all the small details of this restaurant and the food was excellent. We ordered causa, empanadas de lomo, arroz con mariscos, lomo saltado, raviolis, ceviche and pesto pasta for my daughter. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing! We were so impressed with the authenticity of the food (we're Peruvian). Pisco Punch and Pisco Sour were highlights as well. Pls check out this local gem, you won't be disappointed! read more
Yum! This spot is a must if your reading this and wondering. We stopped in for a quick bite to eat. The drinks were tasty, and the food was really good. The service was excellent and the vibe here is fun! I am a big fan of chicken strips, so everywhere we go I usually order them if on the menu... as an appetizer. They were pretty delicious. My wife loved the Ceviche Clásico, and we both enjoyed the Empanadas de Pollo. The Mikaela cocktail was delicious, I recommend it! read more

This review is for drinks only. We came in on a Friday night, sat at the bar, and ordered cocktails. The drinks were creative, exactly measured, and served with nice presentation. They used top shelf ingredients, and the flavors were nicely layered. The space is colorful, clean, and nicely arranged with several different seating zones. This is one of the best places to get an upscale cocktail in Santa Rosa. read more

Had so much fun eating here. The inside is cute af. I love the wallpaper and decor. The food is so lit. We got the classic ceviche as a shared app, and it's so jam packed with flavor. The catch of the day came in big fresh chunks. We got the cocktails and they did not disappoint. For the entree, we both ended up getting the Ensalada de Lomo and that was honestlu so damn good it took us by surprise. Big ol' plates, got so full, and had leftovers for lunch the next day. The best part is that they got vegan, gluten free, vegetarian options. I don't have dietary restrictions but I love the options, and it's such a good place to go with friends. Will be back. read more

The ambiance of this newer place is fun! The food was pretty good, especially the empanadas. There was a wide variety of fun cocktail options! The service was a bit lacking considering there weren't many people there but maybe they are still working out the kinks. The prices were a bit high in our opinion but they do have a happy hour that looked pretty good that we might pop back to try. read more

Excellent food people. Ridiculously good and a great atmosphere. Service great and the manager is all about directing his people. And the people are good. Don't know how he found them, but he did! The appetizer we had was a fried wanton pastry stuffed with grab.. they had a name for it.. I tried saying it and nearly but my tongue on the second attempt.. just say the fried stuffed grab thing... with dipping sauce.. they got you.... Loma saltado something something... it's just tasty !
