I was a big fan of the Spaghetti Warehouse in both Dallas and Houston. I was excited when I heard the owners were opening Warehouse 72, and I went there during Restaurant Week shortly after it opened. I went there again today for lunch. I was worried about not having a reservation, but, when I got there at 1215, there were only 2 other people eating there. It is a very pretty interior and the two entrees I've had there were good. I have no complaints about the service which was fine on both trips. I understand the owners' desire to go for a more upscale restaurant, but I worry that their failure to have the two staples of the old restaurant (spaghetti and meatballs + lasagna) on their lunch menu doesn't bode well for the health of the business (at least at lunch). It's kind of like KFC not serving chicken anymore. Hopefully, they do much better at dinner. I'd like to see them do well, so I hope they will consider changing their menu. read more

Amazing service!!! and the food what out of this world. The lamb chop was perfect and my favorite plate from all was the angel hair. Delicious!!!! 100% recommended definitely coming back. read more

We love Warehouse 72! Not only is it super convenient but the food and stuff are amazing. The GM Richard is thoughtful, generous and loves to get involved with the community. We have recommended this restaurant to many friends. I think it's great for families, a date night or whatever you want. The menu is reduced because of Covid, but they still have amazing options. Try their pizza, their meatball soup is incredible and their salads are great....and the lasagna!!!! Honestly you can't go wrong with anything you choose. read more

Had a great lunch experience. The decor was amazing and the service exceeded my expectations for a new restaurant. Next time I will make sure to leave room for desert. read more

We went there to celebrate 2 birthdays. It took over 30 minutes to get drinks, and they were delivered one at a time... The mozzarella cheese appetizer was not worth the calories. Our poor waiter was trying his best, but the bar was in a total shutdown for some reason. I should say not all of the food was bad, but the experience was a train wreck. With all of the great choices in Houston, I would not come here. read more

I'll start With the good, the location was decorated nicely, they have really nice murals on the walls which was interesting. The food was average at best. The cheeseboard/charcuterie board felt like it was prepackaged stuff from Cosco. We ordered the lamb chops which were bought out cold, we sent them back and they were bought out cold again, although to their credit they did take the lamb chops off the final bill. The cocktails were really terrible. Had to send my cocktail back and get a beer instead. The servers were not knowledgeable about the cocktails or the menu or the food on the menu. Overall I think it was definitely less than Average and I won't be going back. read more

Tonight is still part of the soft opening and the food and service were WONDERFUL. Very impressive for a restaurant just opening. Just FYI this place is NOT family friendly (no high chairs or changing tables)... this is totally fine, just unexpected for this area. Again really great food and service and I highly recommend, just not with kids! Live music was also awesome! read more

I hosted my 22nd birthday dinner here and strangely they booked me an hour before close, which I felt bad about, I thought they closed at midnight. With that being said I felt very welcome by the staff from start to finish. All the food was great, that night was the first time I had risotto and lamb, it was fresh and perfectly cooked. My entire party loved their experience and loved the atmosphere. This is my second time dinning here and both times have been expectational. Truly one of my go to restaurant! Oh and they gave me a birthday card!! Hand written!! read more

Warehouse 72 - The murals are amazing. - New American Near Me - Houston, Texas

My friend was taking me to lunch for my birthday and I was trying to find some thing that was close to her business and came across warehouse 72 and it all sounded very good so we picked it. We each got the Express three course lunch so we had six things to both sample and share. We had the tuna and the mozzarella to start both were very good I would've had the tuna, with slightly more salad, as a main dish. the mozzarella stick was just the right amount of sauce perfect consistency, very good. For a Main we had the 15 layer lasagna and the shrimp risotto. The lasagna was a little more meaty than I prefer but it was very tasty, the risotto was outstanding the shrimp was a little overcooked but the the rice more than made up for it. And for dessert, we had the opera cake and the ice cream and espresso, both were delicious the ice cream for me was the perfect amount the single scoop the caramel sauce and the chocolate covered espresso beans I would have that every day. The wait staff and management staff were very attentive and friendly and we were in and out of there within the hour exactly what we needed. read more

My sons and I truly enjoyed our experience here. They loved the pizza and chocolate mousse for dessert was to die for. The overall atmosphere was wonderful and we will definitely be back to see what else they have to offer. read more

The hosts were great. The food was amazing. Seafood risotto is to die for! Highly recommend!

The decor here is jaw dropping beautiful. They have several giant murals around the restaurant that really just look amazing. The menus even give a short description about each mural. I really enjoyed the ambiance, especially with the live band. The service here was some of the best service I've ever experienced. As for the food, I had the chicken pesto pizza and I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the pizza. It was very big! I loved that it was fire roasted too. One of my friends had the cheese ravioli's and I honestly would never recommend someone to order that here because the dish was tiny/tapas size. There literally was only 5-6 small ravioli's on her dish and it was $18! Other than that, I will say that I kinda wish they would have had some type of bread or something that they would have given us while we waited on our meal. I would love to come back and try other things on the menu in the future and bring other family members so they can enjoy the ambiance. It was a lovely experience. read more

Came here thinking it would be like Spaghetti Warehouse, but it is nothing like it. Just imagine those restaurants that try to be fancy with small portions for a high price point. The menu is very limited. I ordered the Salmon and my bf ordered the pork chop. Both were good, but we left feeling like we would have rather gone to a steakhouse and gotten a better price for a better portion. We would not recommend this place or come back. If they were using the legacy of Spaghetti Warehouse to get their name out, I feel like they should pay tribute by having at least one recipe in their memory. I gave three stars because the food wasn't bad, but it wasn't worth the service or price point. read more

Went for lunch on a Saturday. Best way to describe the experience....meh. Nothing terrible but nothing great either. Well that's not exactly true. Menu is odd. I am not a picky eater but really found nothing on the menu of any interest. Prices were extremely high for a lunchtime meal at a mediocre restaurant. Probably will not be back other than maybe to hang out at happy hour. Bar area has potential. read more

Went for lunch with my boyfriend we Really enjoyed the food it was great, we order fried mozzarella for appetizer it was delicious, and I got the ravioli it was a bit of small portion but I still enjoyed it. the customer service was excellent she was very polite. My family and I were completely underwhelmed by this establishment. The tables were so close together & the noise was absolutely ridiculous. I've been to nightclubs where I could hear the person I'm with better than here. The murals and restaurant aesthetic was nice but the food was underwhelming. My salmon came out RAW. When I asked for well done. My moms salmon came out raw as well. Had to send both back. The pizza we ordered was incorrect. Had to send it back as well. Waiting to get a drink was horrendous even after having our waiter come by 3 times. The octopus was rubbery. For the price point, definitely won't be returning. Sad. read more

I can't recommend Warehouse 72 enough. If you are looking for a restaurant for a special event, Warehouse 72 is your place. We had my daughter's bridal shower at Warehouse 72 and I could not have been happier. The attention to detail during the planning was beyond my expectations. Every email was promptly answered and I didn't need to follow up or send reminders. Everything discussed was carried out as expected. The food was amazing and something the guests raved about. The wait service was first class. Comments from the guests were that the food was amazing, and that the event was elegant. Thank you to the owner and staff of Warehouse 72 for taking the stress out of the planning process and for making the day so enjoyable and relaxing! read more

A group and I came for Houston's restaurant weeks to try it out because we had heard really good things. To start we ordered the oysters, which were to die for, I highly recommend. My mom ordered a couple Moscow Mules which was about $13 each throughout the period of dinner. Each time she ordered it came back with an overpowering lime juice taste and we had to keep sending them back. I used to bartend so I could tell they had no clue how to make this drink. Usually it has a little lime juice and it seems they were only putting a little bit of ginger beer and the rest was just vodka and lime juice. This is a pretty popular drink so I am surprised a bartender at a semi "upscale" restaurant like this didn't know how to make it right. They were out of the Mahua Sauvignon Blanc on tap so I settled for Oyster Bay, can't go wrong there ($10). I chose to order from the restaurant week menu for $35. For the starter I had the Warehouse 72 salad, nothing special. For the second course I had seafood risotto which looked nothing like the pictures online. It comes with a couple shrimp and scallions and the majority of the plate is the risotto which was overpoweringly fishy, I would not recommend. Then for dessert I got the caramel gelato which was okay! Nothing about my meal made me say "WOW". To make matters worse we had to continuously ask other waiters to help bus our table because our waiter was just letting our empty plates sit. We had one guest who came to dinner late because she was at a very stressful appointment and we let our waiter know so she could be ready to order her drink. When she got here she ordered a vodka tonic and then was like, "Hold the tonic!", as a joke. We all laughed but obviously the waiter didn't get it because she brought out a glass of vodka. At one point a manager comes over and asks "Is there anymore issues?" The choice of wording and delivery was not so pleasant. It was a frustrating dinner to say the lease. Unfortunately I won't be coming back. If I do, it'll be for the oysters. read more

Let me begin by saying anyone who goes to Warehouse 72 hoping it is a re-opened Spaghetti Warehouse from downtown, it isn't. The spaghetti and meatballs available on the "to go" menu only is the first major disappointment. My friend and I went for a late lunch. After being shown to our table our waitress, Jennifer A, came and asked if we wanted drinks and appetizers, we didn't order any appetizers and Jennifer didn't act particularly friendly. If there is complementary bread we didn't get any because it wasn't offered to us. I ordered the Four Cheese Ravioli with a side of the Whipped Potatoes, nothing else on the menu seemed appealing. My friend had the Whipped Potatoes too. My ravioli came and it looked like it was swimming in sauce, very unappetizing, the potatoes weren't very good either. Our food was terrible so neither me, or my friend, ate much. The manager came and asked if we wanted anything else, we declined because we didn't want more bad tasting food. Our bill was originally around $20, only $3 was subtracted since we were unsatisfied so we ended up paying a little over $16. We left without leaving a tip because the service wasn't good. Extremely disappointed with the whole experience. We will not be coming back and we would not recommend this restaurant to anyone else. read more

Similar to Jordan G's response. If you are looking for the nostalgia of the old spaghetti warehouse forget about it. Spaghetti warehouse was where my wife and I had our first date. I was willing to give the change a chance but never again. For starters we get there and wait 30 minutes (which isn't bad) for our table, they had plenty of space and no seating areas for people to wait, so you are standing the whole time for me this isn't bad but I did notice some elders that were struggling standing there. We ordered a mai tai and both drinks literally tasted like shots even after stirring for quite some time. It was the first time I was unable to finish even half of my drink. The food in my opinion is overpriced for the portions you receive $18 for 6 tiny raviolis. Took a good 30 minutes to receive bread after asking for it. We ordered a wedding soup appetizer bc we loved it from spaghetti warehouse and out came a tiny bowl hardly even enough for my kid. Their only kids menu is $14 which comes with an appetizer, entree, and dessert. No joke the waiter brought out what looked like a great value ice cream sandwich on a plain plate. No decorations, no powdered sugar, just a plain ice cream sandwich on a white plate. Might as well have gave it to him with the wrapper. The murals were really cool, credit to the artist but overall the experience was bad. If you guys are looking for spaghetti warehouse like the old DO NOT go here it's nothing like the old place. The staff, and food were wayyyyyyyy better at the old one. Not even joking I rather drive 3+ hours to the spaghetti warehouse in Arlington (the food is the same from the old spaghetti warehouse here) than to drive 10 minutes to eat at warehouse 72 for free. read more

My friend and I went for restaurant week and ended up eating off the regular menu. My friend was perusing the beer list on the menu. Once we had made our choice, we were informed that menu was not correct and our selection was no longer available. The server scurried off to get the updated beer menu. We both ordered the duck. I confirmed that it would be cooked properly and the skin would be crispy. The server checked with the chef and confirmed it would be crispy. About 15-20 minutes later, the food arrived and almost everything on the plate was cold. We sent it back and it came back about 10 minutes later. It was not fresh food, it was the same plates we sent back. At least the food was warmer this time. The duck was over cooked, tough and there was about 1/4" of un-rendered fat under the skin. The duck meat had no flavor and the fatty skin was just nasty. We told the server and he said that the manager would come over. About 30 minutes later, someone came over to talk to us, but he was immediately pushed away by who I can only assume was the manager but he didn't introduce himself and he seemed not happy to be talking to us. He wanted to know what "the problem" was. I explained our experience and he said "what do you want me to do". I explained that we weren't looking for anything, we just wanted to management to know about our experience. He again asked what we wanted. And we said nothing but him knowing that the duck was not acceptable. We were then informed that they have never had complaints about the duck. At that point, I was completely insulted. I have spent 33 years in the management of high end restaurants, hotels and resorts. I know food and how to order to get what I expect. I also know how to handle complaints which apparently this manager did not. We received the bill and they had taken one duck off the bill even though both were unacceptable. Such a disappointing experience. read more

This is my 2nd dining experience and last. The first time the server forgot to put in my order. My second experience the server Philip and the manager were very unprofessional. Reservations at 7pm for 11. 6 of us arrived at 7pm ordered drinks and appetizers. By 7:45 we only had 7 guest and were all ready to order our entres. Our server Philip took our orders and asked should He wait for remaining guest to put in order? I specifically said no we are all ready to eat do not hold because we weren't sure if other guests were coming. He replied ok. At 830ish the remaining guest arrived ordered and by 845pm started getting salads etc. I inquired twice with server Philip about my food. He then responded he held order for other guests. I asked why, you were asked to put in our orders. He had a very nasty attitude and basically said some rude remarks and how all orders are in now. At 9pm I asked for my check for the drink and appetizer and said cancel my order. He never responded and stomped off. At 925pm no check and all of a sudden food was being placed in front of me. I asked for the manager and said I did not want the meal and would like my check. The manager asked me to step away from the table to speak and wanted to explain why our server didn't enter order immediately. I stated I asked him to put the order in at 745ish the manager instead of just apologizing made a gesture with his hands and told me have a nice day and stomped off and made a loud comment the other tables around noticed. Needless to say the servers as well as the management need more training. read more

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. Great date night.

This restaurant was definitely different form anything I've tried. I went here in a Saturday afternoon (and I had wonderful service), and I ordered the kale salad and the s'mores dessert. Salad was good (I tried anchovies for the first time; I didn't like them, but that's a personal preference). The dessert was ok, but the ice cream in it could have been better. It wasn't rich enough for me. But overall I enjoyed the experience. My server, Lexi, was incredibly sweet and attentive (I give her the full 5 stars). So disappointed. This restaurant is like a chain spot trying to be fine dining but just misses the mark. They sat us by the service bar where the coke machine etc. is - it's very visible in the restaurant - all night long there were people coming and going, picking up glasses etc. Our server was super friendly but just not altogether. It took quite a while to get drinks and wine - we ordered bottles, had to ask to order more and had to pour our own after the initial pour. The food was the bright spot of the evening but even that was not worth the fine dining prices. We are a diner group of 6 that's been having dinner together once a month for 25 years - twice a year I get to choose the restaurant, man I wish I had that one back. read more
