I'm not a fan of most Walmart stores, but this one isn't too shabby at all! Most of the reviews for this location are not good ones, but I'm hoping to change that. I've been to my fair share of Walmart Supercenters, and I can honestly say this one is clean and organized. At least for my first visit it was. The employees are friendly and the clothing areas were not a hot mess like some others I've seen. I got everything on my list and more. The self checkout lines are usually long, so I went around the corner and found an empty lane. Score! I was in and out within an hour and I didn't have any issues whatsoever. I hope this Walmart stays clean for years to come. I'll probably stop in here from time to time when I come in from Phoenix. This is going to be your one stop shop if you need a bit of everything! read more

We had a community yard sale planned so I ran in and grabbed a yard sale sign. Because I have toddler I was distracted I paid and set it down and grabbed my other items. I didn't realize it until the next night when I was setting up. I called the Walmart but unfortunately customer service was busy and couldn't get a hold of anyone but someone from a different department. Gentleman was super friendly and said come back in the morning we will get it figured out. Since it was the day of the yard sale I couldn't make it back until the following day. I explained what happened and the gentleman who handled it was very professional and explained the protocol. Which we completely understood. He calls over the manager and again she was understanding courteous and handled the situation perfectly. It was my fault 100%. But just listening and making it right saids a lot about the company and their training. Great job Walmart read more

This review is about the automotive service center, not the store overall. Walmart oil changes are less expensive than other locations, but you should be aware of the risks: On TWO separate occasions, my car leaked oil onto the driveway because the oil filter was not screwed on tight enough. On one occasion when I took it back in, I just told them about the leak and asked them to tighten it but they changed the oil again (3 days after changing it the first time) and tried to charge me full price. The last time I was there, they lost my plastic engine shield that gets removed to access the filter. Now I need to pay to have that replaced at the dealer. And the last straw? After driving nearly 2,000 miles since my last oil change, including through rain, I went to rinse off my engine compartment and realized that Walmart had not fully inserted my dipstick. Water would literally have gotten into my crankcase if I had rinsed the engine. I hope that the rain didn't get in! For the previous 6 years I had the car serviced exclusively at three different Mazda dealers and never, ever had a single incident. At Walmart, I've had issues about 2/3rds of the time. Made an appointment for the tire center. Tires were in stock. Multiple texts from Walmart confirming my appointment including one an hour before my appointment. I showed up 5 min early and got in line after one car. Nobody being checked in. Finally a girl came out and checked in the car in front of me. I pulled forward and she co former all my info and then said she wouldn't be able to check me in. There are 4 tire shops between there and my home just a few minutes away. I went over to the one that's in the same shopping center and spent my 1000 dollars there instead with exellent service that exceeded my expectations. I've bought 4 sets of tires from that walmart in the last 4 years and the service has really gone downhill. Never again. read more

We had a $10 off coupon directly from Similac which they refused to honor. It appears that this Walmart would rather babies go hungry than honor a $10 coupon. I am quite disappointed with the training that Walmart provides to its employees. My disabled mother returned home in tears after an incident at the store. She went to Walmart to buy some limes, and when she approached the cashier, she mentioned that she had 25 limes. The cashier responded, "Are you sure? Should I rip the bag?" My mother replied, "Go ahead." To which the cashier added, "If it's more, I will have you arrested." Are you kidding me? It's disheartening to see one Hispanic humiliating another. Bought the wrong diabetic test strips and when I went to return them I was told no refunds on diabetic products. I Purchased a Vizio flat screen tv , sound bar and surround sound mid October 2023. I left the house November 9th and returning January 18 2024. I always unplug the surge protector just incase when leaving. When returning I plugged the surge protector back in and everything worked great, couple days later tv would not turn on I found that the power cord was defective and went to Walmart to swap out for a new one and was told I would have to buy it as it was over one Month old. I did and it solved the problem. It was only 10:00, but wouldn't you think after spending close to 500:00 dollars they could have given me one, sending the defective cord back to Vizio. I called corporate and they told me the same thing. Over 10:00 Walmart has lost a customer. read more

So I was at Walmart like 5 minutes ago and I'm 11 so I don't got a lot of money but I had like5 dollars and some change and I got a 3$ sweat shirt and Fabric markers they were like 3.85 +tax (which i didn't think about) and I didn't have enough so I tried to take the sweater off the list and the lady I don't know her name I kinda wish I did and then she asked me why I didn't want the sweater and I said I did t have enough money so she said what else do I have and I said the fabric markers and she told me to wait and she made them cheaper and the price was like 4 dollars and I had a dollar left. I told her thank you thank you then I went to my family and when we left I saw her I said thank you again. I am a little concerned about the Walmart greeters who get to decide who they are going to stop to check receipts. Costco checks EVERYONE, but Walmart greeters check receipts based on their perception of the customer. I just witnessed a Walmart greeter chase down a customer and her kid in the parking lot to check her receipt for no reason. I was behind this customer in the self-checkout line and she did nothing to alert suspicion. In fact, the greeter appeared to be annoyed simply by what this customer was wearing, as I heard her make a discriminatory remark to her manager about the customer's tank top. Review your policy Walmart and check EVERTYONE or NO ONE. read more

Purchased their short ribs packaged on Saturday June 2nd. I cooked the meat fully and measured the temperature. The meat was fully cooked. My entire family ate this meat and the very next day had NOROVIRUS!!!! which is a strain of gastroenteritis. Then when I call to report this incident no one answer. Not their ethics line and not the store. So if you purchase meat from them, be prepared for literal death. It was awful. read more

After simply grabbing some groceries and loading them into my trunk, I drove off leaving my wallet in the basket outside by a garden display in the parking lot, it took me more than 24 hours to realize it was missing and my wife called Walmart. I hadn't been to this Walmart for quite some time. Late last Sunday night I stopped in to pick up a few things. When I got to the scanner I had a question, an employee April not only answered my question but she went ahead and scanned all of my items. She was both helpful and friendly and it made for a nice ending to a long day of errand running! This isn't the closest Walmart to my location so I had more or less forgotten it, but I had such a nice experience here I plan on coming back again before long. Please do not support the racist personnel at this store. If you are a person of color making an exchange/return at this store without a receipt, you will be accused of having shoplifted the item. Walmart return policy without a receipt states that a gift card can be issued, when a receipt is not provided by the patron of the store. In addition, their policy states that a identification card must be presented, at the time of the return or exchange and no more than 3 exchanges are returns without a receipt can be done without a receipt in one year. I appeared at the store at around 4:45 p.m. on Christmas Eve December 2020. I am a middle-aged disabled Hispanic female. I answered the store in a electronic cart for disabled people At no time did I possess an imminent threat upon any staff member at the store . I have been a loyal Patron at this location for over a year. I purchased items totaling over $100 this evening on Christmas Eve. Represented the only return items without a receipt which was the printer ink cartridge valued at an amount of $39. After the store manager Paul stated said he speculated theft because I had no receipt, he further humiliated me by issuing me a gift receipt for $24 instead of what the printer ink was valued at $39.00. If they suspected theft, why did they issue me a partial refund then? When I inquired to personnel why I was refunded incorrectly a woman who was visibly intoxicated and very volatile began to scream at me in front of customers and the man that I leave the store, and threatened to have me arrested. Her name is Ms. Jessica Milarakis (loss prevention team) Following her request, I promptly left the store. As I drove an electric cart through the parking lot , suddenly I was ambushed by a police officer and one backup officer. I WAS SITTING IN AN ELECTRIC CART WITH MY CHILD IN MY ARMS POSING NO THREAT TO THE OFFICER. I cooperated with an unlawful interrogation. There was no reason to be interrogated since I complied with the request to leave the store. But I was still detained for questioning in a parking lot on Christmas Eve. Consequently, my daughter and I missed a Christmas event that night, they ruined our evening and my 6 year old daughter was traumatized as she thought I was going to jail!!! There were no trespassing charges against me even though deputies interrogated me in the parking lot for 35 minutes plus. There were no criminal charges pressed because I COMMITTED NO CRIME. I was asked to never return to Walmart again or they would file trespassing charges. No criminal charges pressed, but I was treated like a criminal. If anyone is reading this review please post if you have done a return without a receipt and how you were treated. What transpired at this store is apalling, dispicable and shameful. They did this to me on Christmas Eve. I missed taking my five-year-old daughter to an important Christmas Eve event because I was detained by deputies when I committed no crime. I was released from their discriminatory interrogation. After the holiday, I promptly contacted the corporation who connected me with their marketing director Mr. Casey Childers. He alleged that the trespass order was issued to me as a result of misconduct on my behalf ( behaving in an abusive manner toward Walmart personnel) I disputed the validity of the allegation and I requested a formal investigation including careful review of security footage. Security footage was reviewed and revealed No misconduct on my behalf. The trespass order was revoked. With letter in hand as proof, I am now able to restore my loyal patronage to Walmart stores. Those crooked team members tried to steal my joy and steal my livelihood. I have been a loyal patron of Walmart stores for decades. I need that store, I shop there all the time for essentials. Had the trespass order not been lifted, I would have been unable to step foot in ANY Walmart store ever again! If you are reading this, please do not be afraid to stand up for yourself. Worst grocery pick up service I have ever experienced, hands down! My order was placed early in the morning & It should have been ready at 2pm and I got a notification that it was delayed. 5 hours later, I received another notification at 7pm it was ready and went immediately to pick them up. The line to even be able to park was close to 20 cars long. Unfortunately my Wal Mart in Queen Creek doesn't offer grocery pick up yet so I go to this location. The customer service inside the store is horrible, cashiers are consistently rude. They don't greet their customers, refuse to initiate any type of communication or small talk, refuse to even tell their customers the sale total....most are completely incapable of offering a smile and a "Thank You" is completely out of the question! The employees that work in the grocery store pick up are a different breed all together! They're always courteous and so helpful! They could teach the front of the store a lot. read more

This is my neighborhood Walmart, so I can verify that this is a normal line. Also normal for this one : consistently out of stock, long lines, and multiple "greeters" aka loss prevention, despite there being only two doors. Having just moved into the Queen Creek a Really large store and fairly friendly employees. But their store is in constant disarray. No matter what the time of day we go, it always ends up the same way at the register - at least a few items have the wrong price. Never in our favor (and "getting one over on the store" isn't just enrichment either.) I was almost going to tell my wife that even if Target has higher prices - let's shop there instead. But then she reminded me about how awful Target's price labeling is as well. I guess along with having to self-scan our purchases and not get paid for it, I now need to take pictures of every item on the shelf + tag - and double check them when ringing out? Yuck. The last time we were there, I had a Halloween decoration that I simply couldn't not challenge with the self-checkout monitor. And to her benefit, she went and verified the error, and before coming back to fix the $4.00 over-charge I saw her stop at the front end supervisor area and tell her the problem (the whole row of decorations were hung with the wrong price. Now THAT is follow-through. Thankfully - there wasn't a log-jam in the self-checkout area right then. I believe the employee's name was Madison. We think she is a gem! This was my first time using Walmart pickup. I wanted to try the pickup service because it is always exhausting trying to get grocery shopping done with two toddlers. We received an email and text stating our order was ready, so we headed to the store for pickup. Once we arrived we had to wait 10 minutes just for a spot to open up so we could check in. Once we check into a spot, we had to wait 58 minutes before our order was brought out to us. There were two cars next to ours that had arrived much later than us, and their orders were out no more than 10 minutes. My husband had to get out of the car and speak to an associate for ours to be brought out. If not, we probably would have been stuck waiting even longer. My two kids both became very irritable from sitting in the car for so long. Worst experience ever! We will not be using Walmart pickup again. read more

So I call in my scripts and was told one of them would ready later and needed a Dr authorization on 1 even though the bottle says 2 refills left? this was on the 26th of Feb still no scripts I need them just had 2 back two back major surgeries, one of my scripts is a blood thinner. I just called to find out what's up they say they won't fill my script for pain meds not even a schedule 1 drug. I just lost my toe and have severe nerve damage and need the blood thinners I have 2 graphs and several stints but the people at walmart now decide when I can have the scripts my doc wrote at this point I will end up back in the ER and huge bill THANKS WALMART!!! read more

I am pretty sure they are new to this store but they are going to be the reason that I continue to shop here. The entire vibe is different now that they are here. You can see that they want to help and are compassionate people. They actually took the time to listen to what I needed and helped me along the way, whereas I have seen numerous employees before not care or think it is not part of their job.
