They have no baker/cake decorator I ordered online for a cake and cupcakes for my twin sons 2nd birthday and they cancelled the cake at beginning of the week and the cupcakes were cancelled 2 days before. One of the front end leaders told me they have one baker that comes in on Wednesdays so it would be done by Friday when I needed it. I had to accompany someone with a mobility issue and they were almost knocked over by someone not looking where they were going. Fortunately he was able to avoid being hurt. I would say that we came during too busy a day but the purchase was a priority for this party member. As there were no price scanners we had to use "look up item" on the self checkout. When the price indicated was too high the checkout still required us to call someone over to cancel the item, effectively defeating the purpose of this function. Calling someone over required us to be noisy due to the low stamina of the party member and we had to tell them just to do what we requested, which I don't like doing since it is out of the scope of my social knowledge. It was good for what I came here for, so the rating is appropriate. Though I would rate it lower if something went wrong. read more

Ordered a set of four tires on October 5th , scheduled to be installed on October 12th , on October 7th received a message from Walmart saying the tires were being delayed, the next day they said it was ready to be installed on the 12th as scheduled , got to the tire shop, tires were not there, so I told them I didn't want it no more, then they said don't worry, just wait for they here and it will automatically send back and I will be refunded. Nothing happened until a week later, called in they refund one of the tire, calling again today 10/24/2025 found out that the reason why they refund me one of the tire , cause it's not available anymore , but what about the other 3 tires that was paid, fortunately Hila in customer service was able to help got it straight out for me . Completed the purchase online with pickup requested at Milpitas. Immediately after order confirmed, it was "cancelled" for an unknown reason. This place continues to go down hill. The power is always going out and this Wal Mart ends up wasting tons and tons of food like it's nothing. You would think that being the only Walmart in the area and serving a huge community in a well populated shopping center the company would invest in better back up generators. Another issue is everything is now behind locked cases due to being overridden but what makes it worse is that none of the staff is willing to help and or readily available. Lines afe black friday and getting someone with a key to unlock enclosed cases is slime to none... you have wait an hour at least before you get help. I visited this location to purchase alcohol. We waited over 20 minutes for someone to unlock the case, but no one seemed to know who had the key. We checked back several times, but no one showed up. This used to be my Walmart of choice due to location and proximity to where I had lived. L O C A T I O N This Walmart is located in the McCarthy Ranch area. It's large and in charge. It has a large parking lot which seems to be full always. I T E M S This Walmart has groceries. Yes, it has groceries, so whenever we needed something quick and cheap for our recipe, I would run down here. As I mentioned in my original review, I tend to avoid Walmart especially now with COVID running around because there's a lot of people. A LOT of people and they don't seem to care about 6ft of space. Walmart seems to always be a little cheaper than Target but not by much at which point, I'd rather go to Target and gather my points and get money back. Anyways, Walmart is great for items that you can't find in Costco or Trader Joes and has come in a pinch when I need cake flour or a standard spices. O V E R A L L Sometimes you just need something that seems to only be at Walmart or you're willing to sacrifice quality to just get it for cheap. This Walmart is nice with the grocery section but other than that, I won't run all the way here to go to Walmart. There's a closer one to me now that seems to be a little better. Not by much. Again if you like Walmarts then yay, there's one here in Milpitas. The plus side to this place is that there's a Dollar Tree and Ross right next door as well as Teatop and The Sandwich Spot just nearby so if you go to Walmart, go for a sandwich and some boba.....you're welcome. read more

I hate coming to this Walmart because everything is behind glass, and every time I ask for help to open one, they always act like it's an imposition to help customers. They huff and puff like I'm taking them away from their job of restocking items. We arrived around 8pm on a Saturday. The store was busy as usual, but we needed assistance in the automotive department. We needed battery cleaner, which was locked up behind a glass shelf. We pressed the button 7 times, waited a total of 30 minutes, and still never received any help. There was a sign posted saying that if we weren't helped in 30 seconds to call this number. We called the number and it went to voicemail. I left a voicemail, but never got a call back. I noticed that there was still a couple of employees working in the automotive service area that was technically closed. I asked for their help and they were quick to step out to find someone to help us. We probably wouldn't have ever been helped if it wasn't for those employees. read more

This review is based on my curbside pick up experience only. This is my first trip to this Walmart. I ordered a few items for curbside pickup. Went on a Thursday evening around 7:30pm. Parking lot was fairly full, but plenty of reserved curbside pickup parking spaces available. I saw they had at least three staffs attending to curbside pickup customers that evening. This employee by the name of Jessica (TEAM LEAD) was kicking people out of the return line saying "Closed for returns" and telling people to come back at 7am when the store opened again the next morning. This happened at 7:45pm when the store closes at 11pm. There was approximately 12 people in the return line and she was telling about half of them to go home. Their bathroom floors were so sticky either of pee and God only knows what else on the floor, then there's that foul order of pee, poop and dirtiness in the air that was stench-fully gross I didn't even want to open my mouth! Is anyone going into those bathrooms and cleaning them up? Eh it's Walmart, can't expect great service. I ordered 2 of the $149 laptops online but I guess if you didn't get through on round 1 they won't ship it home and you have to pick up in store. Since I was trying to check out fast to make sure I got my order I chose this location for pick up because that's what popped up. Normally I'd choose to go to the Fremont location as it's usually less busy. Anyhoo moving on to pick up. *THE ONLINE DEALS PICK UP IS SEPARATE FROM REGULAR CURBSIDE PICK UP.* I originally parked in the regular pick up area because it makes sense that all pick ups would be in the regular spot right? Every space in this area was full and customers were standing outside their cars looking frustrated. I checked in on the app before I drove over but when I got there nothing popped up for me to put what parking space I was in. Asked 1 employee twice what I was doing wrong and he said he didn't know but he'll go check. Never came back. Tried to call and the person who answered said check in on your phone. Then 30 minutes later asked a different employee who was filling orders and he looked at my phone and said oh that's for the deals, you have to park over on the side of the building for those and call the number listed on those signs.... So drove over to the other spot and sure enough the app worked over there and I could put a parking spot # and car description. I was the only car in this area and my items actually came out pretty fast once I figured out the Black Friday deal pick up is way over on the sketchy side of the building where they unload the deliveries. Was confusing that it was completely separate from regular curbside but wouldn't have wasted 30 minutes if I knew this. Hopefully this helps others trying to pick up Black Friday items they ordered online. Still gave 3 stars because I guess it's still better than fighting the Black Friday crowds and hoping to get the item you want somewhere in the store. This location has wonderful customer service, good inventory and plenty of parking. out of all the supercenters this one's my favorite. there are always wipes carts and baskets at your service. prices are wonderful and the quality is wonderful. this location in particular happens to be about a 10 minute drive from me and it's convenient because it's located near other places where I run my errands. The only reason for three stars is because it is extremely packed and I think they need to hire more people considering how long the lines are. parking can be sort of difficult because even though it's a pretty big lot there's just too many people no matter what day of the week you go. read more
