Every Trader Joe's I've visited always has been great, even this one. One thing I noticed after shopping here since they first opened, the customers here are completely ENTITLED. Reading through the reviews and seeing people comment about they couldn't get more than 1 tote bag all because they've been a "loyal customer" .. boohoo. Or because they wouldn't adjust prices on flowers .. You guys all suck. tj's is great! the area has a decent amount of parking and lots of other establishments near by. i do think some ppl need to learn how to park better but thats def not tj's fault. I'm grateful that our great city of Milpitas has a Trader Joe's within walking distance of my home. It's convenient, well stocked and offers a wide variety of unique and delicious items you don't always find at big grocery chains. It genuinely feels more local in both quality and selection. What really sets this location apart though is the customer service. I've come in on days when work or life has been stressful, and the simple check-ins from the cashiers like "How's it going?" or "Hang in there" honestly go a long way. I'm not there to unload my feelings lol but that small moment of acknowledgment and warmth makes a difference. They do all this while keeping long lines moving smoothly. I'm so glad there's one nearby. I don't have to go to south San Jose. The workers are very helpful and nice. I made a mistake of using their internal tablet to look up if they have the ube pancakes available. One person politely told me it wasn't for customers. LOL. And yet another update. Though last year, I did go here at a random time and unfortunately caught COVID here :( [[HIGHLIGHT]]But what I like about this place is that it's nice and spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They do get a lot of the new items which is lovely. Folks here are always lovely and friendly. The only thing that is horrible is the parking. The parking in the garage is so tight like they decided we're going to squeeze as many spaces that barely have space between cars. I end up parking outside sometimes just for a slightly better space though it's again getting harder and harder to find parking here as more new restaurants are springing up on the first floor nearby. Still will come here on occasions depending on what errands we need to do and it's also on my way home for work if I need to pick up anything. read more

So many fun choices! Love when I come here. The bagged Caesar salad doesn't have anchovies, they have 2 so be careful. It's literally the best. Got pretty much everything I came for except frozen fettuccine. Sad. I did find my wine that I normally get at Whole Foods for $25. It was $9 here!!! So I stocked up. Parking here sucks. There's a couple 20 minute spots here and there and the lot is quite small. You'd have to park in the garage. The store itself has a much different layout than others, aisles feel longer making stuff more spread out. Since it's close to the mall some of the goods were out of stock. Shopping here is okay, not my favorite location but I also don't live locally and only popped in when I was in the area. read more

Convenient location as I live nearby and can walk to the store. Love the exotic fresh fruits here. Bought some passion fruits and they were amaizng! Produce is nicely arranged and dog treats are always in bulk. They have peonies for $9.99 and that's a dream price. They smell wonderful! Short Story: A small TJ's tucked right near bart and Great Mall! Long Story: I've been coming to this Trader Joe's for a 3 years now and it's always been a good experience. It's a bit smaller than the one in Fremont but it still carries all the essentials. The parking lot is also smaller than Fremont so you may not always find parking. Went grocery shopping on a Tuesday evening, parking was plentiful in the lot, no crowds and no waiting in the store, and service was fast and friendly at the register. Great service as always. The parking in this lot can be tricky as it's narrow with parking on either side. If you continue around the bend its a bigger underground lot. I love to check out the plant section and they had some cool succulents as well as your large array of flowers. Food selection was well stocked and i had such great luck here. today as I picked up a Raspberry Kringle in the bakery section. All in all another great experience at this TJ's. read more

I attempted to purchase a tote bag in TJ's Greatmall today and the bag was hidden and are no longer displayed on but are instead available at the customer service area. The customer service guy whom o spoke to at 8:42am mentioned that there is a limit of one bag per customer. I would like to inquire about the possibility of purchasing 2 bags, given my loyalty as a customer. It was frustrating to make a special trip early from work only to be limited to buying one bag. So happy there is a Trader Joe's in Milpitas. They have it in the right location, which is at the higher end apartments on Great Mall Pkwy. Those newer apartment complexes are where the younger software engineers live; the demographics in Milpitas more likely to shop at a Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. They have some unique finds that you don't typically see at a Safeway or Albertson's. There are lots of food that cater to the younger apartment living crowd; easy to heat up and quick to prepare frozen food. Some are quite tasty. They have unique brands of snacks. I enjoy their kettle style ghost pepper potato chips, pasta sauce, among other great finds. Sometime they have unique fruit. Once I came across their gumdrop grapes. Spectacular and sold out so quickly! Garage parking as well as small parking lot. I wish this Trader Joe's was bigger and had more merchandise. read more

I love me some Trader Joe's and the countless products that I absolutely adore... This particular TJ is fairly new but is smaller in size when compared to other locations. It is always tidy, fairly busy, and I am always finding products that spark my curiosity. Staff is friendly and they seem to enjoy their jobs. Extra points specifically for that because coming across genuinely happy employees is damn near unheard of nowadays. Lmao. 4 stars overall. Groceries aren't gonna break the bank hence the overall openness of trying new products because of its affordability. Shelves are unfortunately empty in multiple areas and this is always the case whenever I come for visits. With the size of the grocery store already being limited to begin with, empty shelves and lacking products really stand out here. read more

First time visiting this TJs sorry, but not a fun experience. Parking is a nightmarein that garage, i know it s mostly because people do not know how to drive!!! Then i get inside and grab a few things. Head to check out, and some how i get a clerk who s obviously having a bad day. We stopped here to get snackies the night before our international flight b/c it kinda hurts my heart to pay airport prices for snacks when you can come here! I didn't realize they have a parking garage so don't be deterred if you don't find parking up front. Not sure though if you pay in the garage. Shop was clean but a bit compact I feel than most TJ stores. We stocked up on a variety of chips, peanuts (sweet and savor), nuts, sandwiches, and salads, and a wine bottle opener! We packed bottles of wine for our trip, and forgot to pack a wine bottle opener. You cannot always rely on hotels to have the things you need. and it was only $2! I was so so happy to see they have chocolate croissants, something I have never seen before at any TJs. I'm sure warmed up they'd taste even better. Trader Joe's has always been an interesting grocery store. It's not the largest, and it's not overly expensive, but it does have a lot of personality. Their products are usually pretty good. They sell most of their own products, so you won't see a lot of the name brand products, but that's ok, because you really do get some quality product. Staff are always great. There's parking in the front and a parking garage as well. I thought this Trader Joe's would be big based on a lot the reviews mentioning it but it is a smaller store compared to other locations.
