Affordable produce with lots of good Vietnamese products. Some fruits look like they are about to rot/ have flies, while the vegetables look saggy. The aisles are so narrow, I had to dodge like in bumper car rides to prevent crashing on someone. The meat and fish department smells like a wet market, so if anyone is sensitive to gamey and fishy smells, especially pregnant women that place is not for the brave soul. Sometimes there might be a mentally unstable homeless person wandering in front of the entrance with no security on site. Overall it's cheaper than 99 Ranch Market and Lion Supermarket.

This is an old Asian supermarket filled with all your grocery needs. It's not my favorite spot, but because they have everything I need for coffee packets, soups, and desserts recipes, it keeps me coming back. Cashiers are always ready to ring customers up even when it gets crowded and congested at times. Parking lot isn't the best in design, but it sure can use remodeling or upgrading to match this old Park Victoria/Calaveras Blvd/Milpitas neighborhood. Very decent and affordable grocery prices on most items. Grab and go fast because the aisles aren't wide compared to most places. You can easily find coconut milk around $0.99 per can, evaporated milk in a can under $2, and $1.69 for grass jelly or green Ai Yu jelly in can. Small pack dried red beans are $2.49. If you want the good firm pandan dessert, firm coconut dessert, almond dessert, mango pudding, etc. to make at home, expect around $2 each. They have good Asian baking ingredients and other ready to eat jellies/gelatins for you to add to your dessert kitchen pantry. I actually do like the varieties because it's perfect for making Vietnamese desserts too. I used to buy meats in frozen section from here, but sometimes, the cashiers ring up the wrong prices, so just be aware. Noodle soup ingredients and processed meats can be a bit pricey. Overall, decent in many ways. Vegetables and fruits section is always crowded with many elderly seniors standing around. I will come back here for dessert recipe ingredients when I'm in the mood for my sweet tooth cravings.

Was accused of stealing at this location by the cashier lady at station number 1 today because I was looking at an item that was next to the exit, had my purchased items already packed up and in my grocery bags and when I put the item back and turned to leave the cashier told me to stop and asked if I paid. I told her I had paid and asked what she was talking about, she said I went from around the register and was leaving so she was asking for my receipt and I told her to go ask the cashier for it because I literally had my hands full with heavy bags and then she decided to ignore me. I kept pressing her to go ask the cashier to prove her wrong, that I wasn't stealing, after confirming with the other cashier, I told the cashier that next time to actually pay attention to what's going on before stopping someone and making up a story that I went around the register to leave with stolen items . I spent about 50 dollars in this location and am a brown woman just trying to shop in an Asian grocery store. Do better.

I come here after my nearby appointments and like to pick up fresh veggies and fruit. On a high note, I picked up kohala longan one time for $8.99/lb. Some were mushy and spoiled but most were delicious. It's the most sweet longan I have ever tasted!

I live an exit away from this supermarket, but I don't normally shop here. I can here today because I saw a posting for good guava. However, they were sold out before I arrived. I noticed this place has good amount of produce at lower prices compared to big chain Asian grocery stores where I normally shop. This is not like a warehouse like market, no decorations but isles and isles of groceries stacked up. However, they have fresh looking meat on the count. I like the fact that these type of meat are fresh never been frozen. Unlike American supermarkets, most of the meat on the counters are previously frozen. Be because they sell and clean fresh fish, so that area is pretty fish. It's a love and hate relationship, I love to purchase fresh meat and live seafood, but I don't like the fishy smell... I'm summary, if you want fresh meat and produce, or dried Asian goods, and don't mind the less decorative environment, this is the place to be.

Oranges on sale ... they already selected the first basket full and are starting on the second!

Clean, not too busy, EXCELLENT prices. Great selection of fresh food, Thai bananas, Mexican mangoes, it is truly a world market. Regarding ambience, it is actually surprisingly quiet. No mood music. No commercialized speaker squawking at you all the time. Just do your shopping, and get on your way. One of my favorite markets when I'm in the area.

They are starting to add more pastries and the displays are looking good, especially with the sesame buns and cheesy tarts, etc. I'm surprised that they are trying to beat pastry prices in the area and it's definitely looking good here. Decent prices and good looking pastries. Still feels like a startup though. Cashiers are training and doing their jobs. Hashi Market has been upgrading too. I purchased 3 large bags of dumplings for only $10. It was a good sale this weekend. Celery pork/leek-scallions pork/cilantro chicken/etc. I think their fresh vegetables have dropped in prices too ($1.49-$2.99 per lbs.). Finally. I come here for tofu selections too. You can also find good 1liter healthy coconut water for under $3 each now. Hashi Market is slowly improving and training more new employees inside. This grocery store is convenient and they have made the aisles more spacious to walk around. Food deli area is still operating. I think the place is much better now compared to when it was the Marina grocery store in past years. Japanese products are showing up more and things are more positive here. I'll be back to try a few more breads/buns. $1.99 for good looking breads is cheap and decent here.

Driving up to this location, you will still see the old Marina Grocery Store as they are transitioning to Hashi Market. At least the shopping carts do read Hashi Market on them. It looks like a legit grocery store and it's still very spacious with lots of selections inside. I saw more cash registers opened and operating during lunch hours. Convenient and walkable plaza. Cashiers are busy and occupied as usual. It does get crowded at times, especially in this plaza surrounded by high population residents and apartment units nearby. I still see elderly seniors walking around and walking home. The Japanese foods/snacks section is not bad at all. I definitely found some good items on sale today. Give Hashi Market some time to rebrand and pick up the pace. Hashi Market in Milpitas is also looking much better nowadays. This place is convenient is you're in the area for sure. There's plenty of good restaurants and nearby shops to browse around or you can also cross the streets to the next plazas all around. Looking good for now.

Special section with products for Lunar New Year also in front. Sad to see only one register open. Didn't look for specials. May return at a future date when I have more time. Honestly, it didn't feel like a newly remodeled store. It felt more like they just put up a new sign outside. They might as well have had a banner that said "under new management." Lee's is known for their great sandwiches, so I expected more of a café-style setup where you could browse a variety of sandwiches and maybe sit down to eat. Instead, there's no seating area and the menu is just a large LCD screen listing sandwich names and prices with no photos. The store itself feels cramped, with most of the space dedicated to shelves rather than any place to relax or enjoy food. I was hoping for something closer to a Whole Foods style experience where you could grab a sandwich, a drink, and maybe meet friends. Instead, it feels like a typical Asian market without much innovation. The one cool touch was that every checkout lane had fresh baked baguettes ready to go. That and my sandwich was delicious but instead of eating it right than and there I had to drive home in traffic and eat it cold. I just love eating em' freshly made and the bread right out of the oven. For sandwiches, I'll probably stick to the regular Lee's Sandwich locations nearby.

After trying both, the kimchi version won me over a bit more. The other option is lighter in flavor, and I'm a fan of bold and spicy food. Adding the shoyu helps, but I could easily eat all the kimchi ones alone. I'm not sure I'd get them often, but I like having an option in the grab and go section for when I'm short on time and hungry. They also added some Pulmone vegan-friendly microwave dumplings to the frozen section, so I got those too.
