It seems like this is a Vietamese run and owned supermarket, with a select few staff who also speak Chinese, as well. This is a very older supermarket in a smallish shopping center, but also has plenty of parking spaces. The inside is very old, and could really use a remodel to make it more modern, but for a supermarket, it does the job. The cleanliness isn't quite there compared to a 99 Ranch Market or other chain supermarket, but thus one seems like a single location, non chain. The prices here are pretty reasonable, especially for the fruits, not sure how they are able to compete with other stores and offer fruits are relatively low low prices. Oranges are $0.49 LB! These is the cheapest I've seen, even previously, they've offered them at $0.39 LB too. Again, not sure how they can sell them so cheap! We also really like the Fried Tofu they sell here for $4.99, the only supermarket that sells this kind. It's large sized, fried square tofu puffs. We get this every visit we come here. They sell alot too! The customer service here is really non-existent, meaning there is basically none, unless you speak their language, which is vietnamese. They automatically start talking to you in vietnamese, not much english with the cashiers, although they do understand basic english. Plenty of parking in the lot, so no worries there and they also have plenty of shopping carts for customers to use. However, I wish they would provide some shopping cart corrals for the parking lot, so customers have a place to return it after use. Overall, just a 3 star. Basic supermarket, nothing spectacular.

Driving up to this location, you will still see the old Marina Grocery Store as they are transitioning to Hashi Market. At least the shopping carts do read Hashi Market on them. It looks like a legit grocery store and it's still very spacious with lots of selections inside. I saw more cash registers opened and operating during lunch hours. Convenient and walkable plaza. Cashiers are busy and occupied as usual. It does get crowded at times, especially in this plaza surrounded by high population residents and apartment units nearby. I still see elderly seniors walking around and walking home. The Japanese foods/snacks section is not bad at all. I definitely found some good items on sale today. Give Hashi Market some time to rebrand and pick up the pace. Hashi Market in Milpitas is also looking much better nowadays. This place is convenient is you're in the area for sure. There's plenty of good restaurants and nearby shops to browse around or you can also cross the streets to the next plazas all around. Looking good for now.

Lee's is known for their great sandwiches, so I expected more of a café-style setup where you could browse a variety of sandwiches and maybe sit down to eat. Instead, there's no seating area and the menu is just a large LCD screen listing sandwich names and prices with no photos. The store itself feels cramped, with most of the space dedicated to shelves rather than any place to relax or enjoy food. I was hoping for something closer to a Whole Foods style experience where you could grab a sandwich, a drink, and maybe meet friends. Instead, it feels like a typical Asian market without much innovation. The one cool touch was that every checkout lane had fresh baked baguettes ready to go. That and my sandwich was delicious but instead of eating it right than and there I had to drive home in traffic and eat it cold. Each package has 8 pieces and a packet of shoyu. After trying both, the kimchi version won me over a bit more. The other option is lighter in flavor, and I'm a fan of bold and spicy food. Adding the shoyu helps, but I could easily eat all the kimchi ones alone. I'm not sure I'd get them often, but I like having an option in the grab and go section for when I'm short on time and hungry. They also added some Pulmone vegan-friendly microwave dumplings to the frozen section, so I got those too. I noticed some plant-based bulgogi kimbap in the frozen section, but I decided to skip them because I'm iffy about the textures of frozen kimbap. I love when grocery stores have vegan-friendly options! I hope this means they'll start adding more vegan-friendly options in the grab and go hot food section.
