A group of friends and I decided to find a last minute graduation gift! We decided to get some champagne since it fits the occasion. Took about 5 minutes for a worker to come unlock the alcohol and walk with us to the cashier, to prevent theft of course. A well stocked store that's somewhat clean with hot foods from their open salad bar on the floors.

Quality/Quantity - A nice clean organized Safeway. With all the departments, see my pictures. Starbucks, Poppy Bank, Bakery, Deli, Meat, Seafood, Floral, Pharmacy, etc. My daughter was going to get a present for her hairdresser, but decided to just give her a cash tip. Atmosphere - See pictures. Open 7 days a week from 5am to 2am. Huge and clean men's restroom. Plenty of mall parking. Service - N/A, self service Curbside pick up available. Price - N/A on this trip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1915 with your 904 locations in 17 states. In 2015, Albertsons purchased Safeway.

We used to frequent this Safeway location all the time when we lived in the area. Standard Safeway, but I like that this has a machine to copy keys and a DMV kiosk to pay for your car registration and print out your sticker.

This store is something else but the only one near us. An employee was yelling at their coworker due to not getting the carts, which could have been done more professionally. I called the store and pressed "8" three times for customer service - no one ever answered...

I went to Safeway today to get some salmon, I really don't know what's going on with the customer service, it took at least 45 minutes for someone to come and assist me. I called the store phone number while I was waiting if someone would pick up the call because they don't have a bell to ring by the meat place. I could hear the voice coming from the intercom, but no one answered. I waited some more, even knocked on the counter and still no answer. Then I had to go to the front and ask to speak to someone so they can come and help. When I finally got the help, I asked the young fellow if they had a bell and he said no, we took it off. Then he put the fish inside a plastic bag! I asked the young lady that came from the front if they didn't put the fish in a tray like before, and she said no. what is the purpose of putting the seasoning on the fish if its going to be all over the bag but not the fish? Absolutely disappointed with the store. On the other side the broccoli looks so bad and ready to put in the garbage but still they had it for $3.99 a pound? So sad to know customer service and the product are going really bad!! On top of it They had long lines with only two cashiers open. I asked to speak to a manager to show the bag where the guy put the fish, but no one was around except for the young lady and the young fellow in the cashier, laughing out. While exiting one of the customers said: it's looking more like Walmart but with Safeway prices. That's really bad! Manager really needs to do something about it before this store becomes another no go place.

Miss the days of the writing being in cursive, but it turned out just as I ordered.

Bakery birthday cakes are always moist & delicious. Side note.... their fried chicken is the best!!!!

    These are the same mushrooms

I am no mushroom expert, so I almost bought these brown ones (top) without a second thought. But my sister pointed out it didn't look like the mushrooms behind it (bottom), so I double checked the barcodes and... they were the same mushrooms! Uh-oh... I was going to grab the white ones instead, but I realized there was a hole in the packaging & I was not feeling it anymore knowing these mushrooms were right behind the rapidly aging ones... Bright-side: I like that this Safeway has so many self-checkout :)

Please confirm this Safeway does have the DMV Now Kiosk? Short feedback of if it's user-friendly would be even better. Thanks!

This supermarket is located inside the Park Victoria Plaza in Milpitas, California. It seems like this is a Vietamese run and owned supermarket, with a select few staff who also speak Chinese, as well. This is a very older supermarket in a smallish shopping center, but also has plenty of parking spaces. The inside is very old, and could really use a remodel to make it more modern, but for a supermarket, it does the job. The cleanliness isn't quite there compared to a 99 Ranch Market or other chain supermarket, but thus one seems like a single location, non chain. The prices here are pretty reasonable, especially for the fruits, not sure how they are able to compete with other stores and offer fruits are relatively low low prices. Oranges are $0.49 LB! These is the cheapest I've seen, even previously, they've offered them at $0.39 LB too. Again, not sure how they can sell them so cheap! We also really like the Fried Tofu they sell here for $4.99, the only supermarket that sells this kind. It's large sized, fried square tofu puffs. We get this every visit we come here. They sell alot too! The customer service here is really non-existent, meaning there is basically none, unless you speak their language, which is vietnamese. They automatically start talking to you in vietnamese, not much english with the cashiers, although they do understand basic english. Plenty of parking in the lot, so no worries there and they also have plenty of shopping carts for customers to use. However, I wish they would provide some shopping cart corrals for the parking lot, so customers have a place to return it after use. Overall, just a 3 star. Basic supermarket, nothing spectacular.

As we browsed around, we noticed that some items were actually more affordable than what we're used to seeing, which definitely caught our attention. The store wasn't busy at all, and we did notice that a few sections had empty shelves. It also felt like certain areas could use a little more attention when it comes to cleanliness, which would make the shopping experience more enjoyable. Overall, I think this is a place worth stopping by, especially if you're looking to save a little on groceries. We'll likely come back again to explore more of their selection and take advantage of some of the better-priced items.

They accept EBT and I believe they have student discount on Sundays as well. The place is generally clean and organized and the aisles have enough space for people to go by each other without being squeezed too much. I overall like shopping here especially because there's lots of food and drinks in the same plaza and it's nice to have a lot of businesses gathered in the same place. I feel like the large majority of the older people working here whether as cashiers at the main checkout or at the food or bakery are pretty nice and friendly, maybe some of them are more brusque but I don't mind it. The only people I feel like are rude are the majority of the young people who work here?? I don't really get why but there's frequently a young person working at the main checkout who seems like they're in an awful mood and takes it out on the customers in petty ways. So weird! Otherwise, this is a great, inexpensive place to shop at, and I love the Chinese snacks, fruits, and everything else that I wouldn't otherwise get so easily at other stores. Parking in the afternoons can be somewhat difficult but I always find a spot.

I knew the store would be busy... and it was. The store was overwhelmed with customers, and it was like dodging cars on a freeway. The music was so loud and frenetic for having so many customers in the store that I left with sensory overload. Honestly, it would have been a huge benefit to the store and their employees to have calm music in the background to set a much more quiet atmosphere. It's known that music greatly helps to keep things calmer when things are this busy. The entire group I was with felt overwhelmed when we left the store and needed a quiet break from the chaos. This has never ever happened for me in an HMart so taking that into consideration. That said, I was looking for some Ahi for sushi making. They had fresh thawed ahi steaks for 5.99 lb which is a good price. Many people understand that freezing fish can kill parasites. They only had one pack so I asked at the meat counter if they had more. They said they would have them at 5 pm. The frozen ahi sashimi grade tuna was priced at something like $49.99 a pound. I've never seen a price like this which is was mind blowing. But I digress. A sign of the times? Not sure. I'm not a Karen. lol. I highly respect stores and how hard people are working especially on a busy holiday. I asked the butcher if it could possibly be given a bit earlier than 5 pm because I lived far away. He turns to another person and starts talking about me in Spanish thinking I did not hear or understand what he was saying. He was majorly bad mouthing me. I looked at him and said..."I understand Spanish." That's all I said. He looks embarrassed and said "sorry" and walked away really fast. I didn't follow him, talk to him, report him to management or say anything to even acknowledge his rudeness. I'm saying something here without his name on purpose. He was probably having a bad day. I honor that. But the entire experience at this location is one I've never had at HMart. Most likely I won't return to this location. No... I'm not mad at this butcher. I don't know what his day was like. I know what the energy was like in the store and the music alone with that many people could put anyone on edge. I didn't find many places in this store very helpful. We did get some great items which is why I rated it 2 stars. Otherwise it would have had one.
