I dropped by here wanting to get a few essentials. Either the shelves were completely empty or what they had left, most, if not all, the packages were open and out of its original box and just scattered throughout the shelves. I wasn't able to get most of the items I came for unfortunately.. the two staff were friendly though.

Paid $12.00 for one cable. At the Dollar Tree, it' $1.00 per cable.....Dealages Yo!

Gang, you are not gonna believe this.............the day I flew out to the mainland and forgot to pack my phone charger cable, out of desperation, I ended up buying a cable from a news stand in the Maui Airport (OGG), and paid $12.00 bucks for that cable. Was it worth it? Hell yeah! My thing is.........if ya need it, you need it! No sense show up to the mainland with a dead phone, yeah? That $12.00 cable sure bailed me out in a pinch, and I have no regrets about paying $12.00 for that cable, but the following day..........guess where I ended up at????? The Dollar Tree store in Milpitas! For my Hawaii peeps that don't know what a Dollar Tree store is, let me edjumacate da bruddah's & sistah's........... Basically a Dollar Tree store is a store that sells everything for a dollar. Whaaaaaaaat? Is that true???? That's right........EVERYTHING FOR A DOLLAR!!!! Come on man, Bruddah Fran is not gonna lie to ya! Cross my fingers & hope to die if I lie to ya.............truth!!! How did I end up at the Dollar Tree in the first place???? Long story short.............going to the Dollar Tree was not planned, I only ended up here, because my pops needed a belt and we were going to the - Ross Dress for Less store (as it was close to our hotel), but upon going to Ross to get him a belt, I just so happen to see the Dollar Tree store just next door. After seeing the store, I figured - "why not????" So I popped on in to see what kind of Dealages I could score!!!! Upon looking around the joint, guess what I saw???? Yes gang, I saw the same cable I bought on Maui for $12.00, only to see it sold here for just a dollar - $1.00! UNBELIEVABLE!!!! So I went ahead and bought me 5 more cables..........ya never know if I'm gonna forget it again, but at least I can say I have extra backup cables! Lol! The Dollar Tree store sells an array of stuff, food items, household items, school supplies, toiletry items, kitchen items, cleaning items, limited clothing items, batteries, reading glasses & sunglasses, over the counter drugs, snacks, pet items, you name it, you can almost find it here at the Dollar Tree! I don't know about you folks, but I can get a item at a deal...........i'm down! DEALAGES YO!

OMG! Up do you know they show has always been one of my favorite places to shop. Where else can you find a bargain for $1.50. Well today I found out. I went to get some Fourth of July necklaces for my lady friend. She asked me to go to the dollar store. I found dollar tree and walked in. To my amazement this humongous space was full of items, everything for one dollar each. There are a few things that might be a little more but they are clearly marked. I found myself picking up stickers, Greeting cards, Kleenex tissue and hairbands. I could not believe my eyes as I just stared in amazement, aisle by aisle at everything that could be had for one dollar. There are namebrand toothpastes like crest and Colgate, cleaning products like Clorox and candies galore. They also had medications but I tended to shy away from that. Tons of party goods, cooking and baking supplies (I checked out the pans, they were quite substantial), certainly good enough for a baking project. Lots and lots of graduation decorations as well as cute birthday candles. I wish they had one in Hawaii. Needless to say I will just add that to my list of bargain shopping whenever I'm in the area. In addition the people were nice! The store manager was manning the cashier and was very pleasant. Just a note, I bought the small roll of packing tape, junkie. It didn't hold and shreds when I try to get it started.

I Love me some bargains and I Love me some DoLLar Tree!!! ALL your typicaL necessities ranging from snacks, home goods, party suppLies, and pet goods under one roof and onLy for a buck (EACH). What is there to compLain about?? I am aLways surprised with the amount of name-brand items they carry. Sure the quanity can range from smaLLer amounts of the item being soLd or the QuaLity can be Lacking but you get what you pay for. FYI- don't expect to have top of the Line customer service. You wiLL most LikeLy have to fLag someone down for assistance and there wiLL be situations where the registers are empty without someone to ring. JUST BE PATIENT.

My Y2K emergency water stash complete with protective cardboard box. With tankless water heaters these days a stash is important

Very beautiful and well run Dollar Tree. A bunch of palm trees happen to be at the corner in front of the store which adds to the nice look of the place. Didn't plan on going in but saw some 1 gallon water 6 packs still in the cardboard box which is rare through the front window. Just what I wanted to store a bit of water in case of emergency. Aisles were free of items needing to be shelved. No line at the register at all. Very pleasant experience.

In case I don't have time tomorrow, I want to make my 30 day challenge by writing the review for tomorrow now. This Dollar Tree location is quite large - compared to the 2 that I've been to. I noticed that there is a frozen section in the back... I honestly did not look at anything or get anything because I was trying to compare bwtween the products here and Walmart. Though Dollar Tree is cheaper, the quality of the product, the quantity, and overall offerings did not compare to Walmart (kind of an oxymoron comparison, I admit). If you need basic staples and/or party essentials then I guess this place could do the trick but I would not waste my time... no brand name products here and candies cost about $.80 which is more than what the sales at major grocery stores or drug stores offer at times. I want a PB Twix now.

There are never enough cashiers in this place. Long lines, bad customer service. I think that my cashier was drunk.

Since Chinese painting and calligraphy are among my favorite hobbies, Soyodo has always been a meaningful place to find traditional Chinese painting supplies and guidebooks esp for maobi, painting flowers, landscapes, and ancient figures. I really appreciate that they also carry crafting supplies and classic Chinese literature, not just generic art books. Everything here feels rooted in tradition and care. The store also offers novels, children's books, Chinese New Year decor, vases, and small toys, which makes it feel like a cultural space rather than just a bookstore. On top of that, the pricing is very reasonable. I've even found books for as little as $2-4, which makes browsing and discovering new reads even more special. The owners are an older Chinese couple who are quiet, reserved, and genuinely kind. One of the things I cherish most about Soyodo is how peaceful and calm the store is. It's the kind of place where you can slow down, browse without pressure, and feel grounded. Stores like this are rare and I truly hope Soyodo continues to thrive. If you value culture, tradition, and supporting a small family-owned business, this is absolutely a place worth visiting and supporting.

You can tell that they are careful about what they decide to put out on the floor. The items were all in good condition and contemporary. Everything was priced to sell and I snagged some good deals on some pots for my plants. I was looking for a single teacup but they didn't have any on the floor. The staff were really friendly and they offered to check in the back for me. They even joined me in my hunt around the store. Lovely ladies. I will be returning.

Absolute gem of a thrift shop!…read more Well curated and the volunteers went out of their way to help me navigate the giant hula hoops I discovered. The prices are beyond great if you love vintage clothing and know fabrics. I may have found my favorite dress of all time here for a whopping $14 (because it's a two piece set of decorative vintage fabric) it was in the premium section and the volunteers were adorable making sure I knew why it was priced this way. (I couldn't afford a yard of this fabric retail I'm giddy about a vintage two piece set that I can customize). To then discover that the proceeds go to support women's scholarships was the ultimate bonus! My grand total for everything was $54 and I happily gave my change to the donation bucket by the register. If you are in the area and love unique vintage items this is a must explore. I had to resist the urge to buy several of the tea cup collections. I'm a sucker for vintage tea sets and they have several that are stunning! Great shop, fantastic volunteers who are donating their time to support a wonderful cause.
