Walked in at 11am to see the store looking like it had been looted. The store manager didn't say a word to me (and I was the only one there) as she proceeded to text on her phone and slowly open up items and add them to a display. I'm shocked to see a retail store in this sorry state. Items thrown under displays, trash and grime on the floor and shelves, items carelessly thrown around, there's no love and care at all. But, that all makes sense given that the employees are verbally harassed, yelled at, and talked down to by upper upper management. If I was consistently made to feel like I wasn't good enough by my superiors, I wouldn't put any effort or love into my work either. read more

They have a lot of cute stuff for your home that kids like. Quality isn't the best though but for the prices of most items it isn't too bad. My daughter got a stuffed animal for herself and brother that was under $10 a piece. When we were there no cashiers were working so it was self checkout only. read more

I stopped by to Miniso strictly for tiny little face masks for my little toddler. At $3 a pop, they do the job and they fit her face pretty well. What I didn't expect was all the additional cuteness... Miniso is legit a Marvel Lovers DREAM!! The entire store is pretty much filled with Marvel product and they seem to have a things for We Bare Bears as well. Highly highly recommended if you're into either one of these. Items are reasonably priced and the random items they sell absolutely gives me Daiso vibes. Products offered range from cute food containers, food utensils, phone cases, beauty products, a galore of snacks, and a wall full of plushies. 5/5 stars. The people at the AT&T store were rude, longs drugs was out of the stuff I needed, and the staff were generally rude all over. Pricing was expensive in all the stores. A new shop that opened in great Mall. They sell a variety of cute merchandise that is great for gifting during the holidays. The space is clean and orderly. They have make up, Pens, facial cleansers and masks, and school supplies that are so cute. The staff are nice and helpful. I bought pensThat are so cute, I will put them as Christmas sock stuffing. I love this place! I first came across a Miniso store in SoCal. Didn't know they made it to the Bay Area! Found out they have a location at New Park Mall too. Anyway, this place has a lot of random items at low prices. They carry make up, perfume, silverware, door mats, snacks, etc. Reminds me of Daiso. I haven't purchased too many items from them yet but I do like their gel eyeliner (goes on dark and smooth). It's basically a store with a bunch of cute crap that you don't really need but want lol. Well, that's my situation anyway. Right now they're selling a buncha Marvel themed items like neck pillows, face masks... might be seasonal. They have cute Bare Bears stuff too. Cute Miniso store, super clean but a bit too aseptic, too organized. I discovered the Miniso stores in Santa Barbara a couple of years ago and there I got a lot of cheap and good quality cosmetics. It was not the case in this store, they had barely a couple of not very nice lipsticks and almost nothing in the make-up section. You can find tons of pillows with various cartoon characters on them and the usual Japanese style stationary, stickers, beauty masks and many other things. I still prefer Daiso, cheaper and 'less clean' environment which allows visitor to find surprises. My biggest surprise here was a collection of nice smelling eau de toilettes. They don't like more than an hour, though. I liked that I got a nice gift for buying more than a certain amount, nice touch. read more

The store was amazing! I went with my son the other day and he told me "Dad, look its MINISO!" HE was so excited and we were both welcomed kindly by the workers at the register. Sometimes the store may look dirty, but that is understandable considering how short of workers they are. I always look forward to taking my kids here next time. read more

Terrible customer service. Four employees talking to each other behind the register. I approach to purchase some cologne, one of them looks at me and then looks away, the rest continue to talk. I asked them if it was self check out and one employee mumbles something to me. I asked her to repeat and she said, "The registers are in the middle of doing something." I was very confused, and i said "ok, then I need to wait?" She said yes...I turn and see a large machine and ask "can I pay there?" She said yes... why do I need to figure this out for YOU?! BAD SERVICE EVER!!! I got the worst experience ever this morning at this store. I couldn't find price tags for stuffs that I would like to buy and couldn't find any associates around. Finally I found one, I asked if he worked here and he was like yeah.... Then carried on with what he was doing without offer help. I had to use the Self Check out to check the prices. What kind of attitude and services are offered at this supposing kid-friendly store! When I paid at Check out and didn't get my receipt, I asked the cashier who was right next to the Self Check-out station for help with the receipt. While waiting for him to print it, he asked me what I had bought. I raised my bag and asked him casually "oh, you didn't see when I checked out". He then said I was rude. I told him that I was just asking a question to clarify. He then waived his hand at me like "get out". I asked to talk to his manager and then he said he was the manager. I told him he was rude to me and he said he was giving me the attitude that I did him. What on earth with this guy? If he couldn't take a simple question for clarification, he shouldn't work at a retail at all. read more

I love how there are so many cute things to choose from at Miniso! The store is very organized and clean, making it easy to navigate throughout. There is even a whole wall of super soft, cute plushies that are hard to resist purchasing, so I ended up getting the green melon plushie for $11.95. My family likes buying things from here. My daughter was gifted a lot of items for her birthday from her aunt but some things my daughter is to young to use like face masks and eye masks she's only 11! Or some items it's the wrong character. I only wanted to exchange and I'll pay more if it comes out to more. I know the policy is 7 days with receipt but if you don't offer gift receipt and the person who gifted you threw away the receipt what are you supposed to do. I explained that to the first guy I talked to. Then the second guy said to come back when the manager was there and gave me his own phone number to find out when the manager would be there. I came back and explained to the manager what happened as my daughter is standing there tearing up. The manager named Martin was no help and was very rude and said I harassed his employees which I never did. He kept telling me that he can't do anything and that the aunt should have gave me the receipt. Most people don't want to give their receipt to someone they're buying a gift for. I will never go to this location ever again. Martin you and your employees need to work on customer service and I will be contacting someone about this. I've been to a lot of Miniso locations throughout the Bay Area, but this has to be one of the greatest. They carry many of the same items as other locations, but one thing that they have that others only have a short supply of is Marvel products. They don't have merchandise with all the super heroes, but the inventory that they do stock is definitely worth checking out. I don't buy a lot of plush items, but it seems like their selection is more diverse than others as well, you may not have ever thought about grabbing a plush character of a Taco Cat or A pillow with a corgi shaped like a bus, but if you spend enough time here; you just may own one for your collection. read more

No hello how are you or thank you have a good day....just do you need a bag ok and then that's it no goodbye I came in yesterday to do some Christmas shopping and I get that is busy but the line to check out was not. I said to the girl, "hi how are you doing today?" And all she said to me was do you need a bag? Didn't even respond then she proceeds to scan my items and gives me the total and I said thank goodbye have a wonderful day and all she did was give me a nasty look. They have Marvel!!!! Very cute and unique items! I waited for the Marvel items to arrive. I am still looking for the character massage sticks, pens and the sleep masks but could not wait so bought alternatives just in case they don't receive any of it before Christmas. During the Marvel launch, they gave a goodie bag. I had some fold up slippers and oven mit/potholder that I like! Average price is probably $10 so its not like Daiso like I thought it would be. The refund policy I think is like 7 days with receipt. Check the tags for description of what an item is if you're unsure. I bought a solar toy car for my son so we will see how it works. Love, love, love this store. It has tons of really cute and adorable stuff for under $10. They carry lots of items from We Bare Bears and Adventure Time an lots of things from toothbrush holders to makeup brushes. Didn't expect them to open since I came by last week some time and it wasn't open, but the cashier informed me they just opened last Saturday. This place is horrible. I just shopped with my son there and went back to ask for 0.25 change. I need a quarter to play a machine for toy in the mall. When I walked in and asked a staff, I still did not finish my whole sentence and the other staff beside him loudly said "No" and so rude. I asked him his name and he looked scared to give out his name and I saw him giving change to others. He is discriminating a mom with a kid for a quarter change. We shopped that place yesterday with my husband, my daughter and her friend. My daughter is 11years old and her friend too. They are so excited and bought the stuffs at that place for total $98 and after they walked outside as I checked they got 4pcs of the same thing so we went back to return some of the items right the way back to the store but when we went back The guy at that place Said Manger wearing red vest saying all of these are final sale and cannot return them. I asked why they just bought these couple mins ago not even opened anything yet because my daughter didn't see the price and we did see the sign or the guy that helped to paid didn't say those are final sales and even in the receipt not showing final sale so can you please try and do it for just for one time please I said. He is like you should had watched your kid's better he is straight up rude to me. so I got upset for what he said. I asked I did not see the sign said finial sale he said I AM the final sale pointing at himself. I had to stop saying more because of my daughter started to cry seeing this guy was so rude. I feel like this guy is disrespectful to the customer and discriminating against the kids that we didn't take care of our kids better. My husband was watching them the whole time and helping them to paid. They are the one that did not say anything that those products are final sale and cannot be returned.
