Literally they try to still sell a damaged item. This location must be begging for money

This location must be having some clear signs of money issues if they are selling damaged goods

Wandered into the store not really expecting to buy anything. Usually just browse and see what catches my eye. I noticed a Junji ito shirt on the wall that was super subtle. Wasn't the usual face melting dark style we all are familiar with when it comes to his art work. I asked about the shirt and I was helped by Brittany. Unfortunately was informed that that shirt was sold but upon mentioning Brittany showed me this misfits x Junji ito shirt. I've actually never really listened to the misfits but it was such an epic collab I had to have one. Ended up getting the bright neon green & purple one pictured. Also, when I mentioned loving collaboration they pulled out a DC Comics x Megadeth T-shirt. Initially I was turned off for personal reasons lol... but the design was so sick. Kept it in mind. Brittany was super kind and helped me find what I needed. Aileen helped me at the register and got me signed up for their rewards program. Thanks again! I actually ended up wandering back in a few days later and ordered the Batjoker, DC Comics x Megadeth T-shirt. Shouts out to Nakai and Rain that day for helping me out and helping me Make my decision on actually buying it. Super friendly staff and lot fun things to check out. Love this location.

apparently I still needed to tell them there were 3 items in the order and not 2.. because"how else would they know??"

Went in to pick up an online order.. she looked in the box and said everything was there! The mall is crazy busy so parking is hell! I get to the car and I'm missing an item. I call the store and she said there were 2 shipments so I should have asked for the other one! How else would they know?? Well... per the email I received, I was to give my order number and they would be able to figure it out! PLUS the email I showed them CLEARLY states the order had 3 items!! Now I have to go back.. find parking AGAIN, and see if they can get it right this time! Annoying!

They mainly sell vintage and modern secondhand clothes, bags, and shoes for women and men, but they also have new pottery from a designer called Familiar. The store is spacious and carefully curated. There is no thrift shop smell and it looks more like a cute boutique than a secondhand store. You can sell your clothes there, too. There are two floors of women's clothes and a separate men's shop across a little courtyard in the back. Most of the customers when I was there were young adults of both sexes. The store was busy on a Saturday in the late afternoon. Fortunately, they have a dedicated parking lot behind the shop with plenty of spaces. The staff welcomed me immediately when I walked in. I was interested in looking at purses and they had quite a few vintage and newer ones from designers like Coach, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, and Dooney & Bourke. I didn't buy any, but enjoyed checking out what they had to offer. I didn't pay too much attention to the clothes, except to notice that women's pant sizes on the second floor only seemed to go up to size 11/12. If they had bigger sizes, I didn't see them. Overall, I was impressed with Black and Brown and would like to go back.

I love that it offers a true boutique shopping experience without the boutique price tag, and I can usually count on finding something I love. Unfortunately, my experience today (3/18) fell short of what I've come to expect over the years. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted, which is something I've always appreciated in the past--it really sets a welcoming tone. Jocelyn eventually helped me into a dressing room, but along the way there were several missed opportunities for basic customer service. I was browsing with my arms full, and at no point was I offered help holding items or starting a fitting room, which would have made shopping easier. When I was ready to try things on, I was asked to sort and count my items due to the 6-garment limit. I completely understand and respect that policy as a way to manage inventory in a small business. However, during that process, a few items fell behind the counter and weren't addressed at the time. Once in the dressing room, there was no check-in to see how things were fitting or if I needed different sizes or colors--something I've consistently experienced and appreciated during past visits. I did ask to swap out items, and Jocelyn was helpful and pleasant in doing so. At checkout, the items that had fallen behind the counter were brought up again, and I was asked if I wanted to try them on. Since I was already dressed, I declined, but it would have been helpful if those had been handled earlier. There was only one other customer in the store, who had already checked out by the time I was in the fitting room, so it didn't seem particularly busy. I've always associated Bombshell Boutique with attentive, thoughtful service--being greeted, having items held, and receiving support in the dressing room. That level of care makes a big difference and is part of why I've been a loyal customer for so long. This visit just felt a bit lackluster in comparison. I'll definitely be back, but I hope this was just an off day.

They always have a great sales rack out in front and their prices aren't too extreme even though inflation has been ridiculous Some of the styles fit differently, so sometimes I need a small, and sometimes I need a large, but that doesn't really matter as long as it's cute, right? This particular day I got a great deal on some high waisted leggings, I take it they were from winter, but they were on the sales rack for $12!! The lady at the register was incredibly helpful and friendly and told me she also has to dress that match the leggings with the same leopard style print in black! I also love all of their Nikki crop top/bra style shirts? They are so incredibly comfortable. You can wear them as a bralette or as a shirt themselves, and not have to worry about anything showing! Hee I will definitely be back here again and again!

I was approached by a very friendly employee who asked if I needed any help. While I saw items I was interested in knowing more about, I was on a time limit and knew I wouldn't have time to even try anything on. I really wanted to do a quick walk around of the store to see what merchandise they had and to take a mental note. They had a live embroiderer near the dressing rooms who was embroidering things for clients. They also had little mini chocolate croissants with cute branded Sezane napkins near the shoe area. I think I was approached by two employees who were nice and personable. While I did not get greeted by others when I was in their area of the store. This is just a pop-up shop still -- its not a permanent location. There is one in SF apparently. I've been to the one in NYC and the pop-up shop in LA in the past. Sezane is on the higher price point, but I do still love the brand and would love to see more boutiques to visit for an in person shopping experience. I do believe that if you invest in pieces from this brand, they will be timeless, as I still would wear the items I purchased many years ago today.

I know this is the Bay Area, but I'm not about to drop $100+ per piece at a DTC brand without seeing it in person first. (My mom dressed me in clearance JCPenney and hand-me-downs as a kid.) I've been inside this specific store twice and the one in SF once. The day I made my purchase was a weekend, whereas my other two visits were on weekdays. On weekdays, the store is pretty much empty. I think for shopping in store at Sezane, that is the preference. My biggest peeve with both the SF and SJ stores (and I assume this is a feature of all their stores) is the cubby wall. They could have put multiple racks in that space, but instead they have a massive wall of cubbies with a different style in each cubby. They're all folded, and I was told you need to point out an item and have the employee take it out to show it to you. The same employee then has to find your size and refold and put back what was taken out. This is literally the dumbest thing I've ever seen in a clothing store. What if I want to see every single piece? How do I even know what the fabric feels like, or if it's sleeveless, or if it's a sweater? You don't, unless you've memorized the Sezane online catalog and know exactly what you're looking for. I could just feel the employee's annoyance every time I asked to see a new style. I would have LOVED to browse more, but the store was very busy, and I didn't want to be a burden. On the weekend day I finally bought something, there was one cashier and there was a line rapidly building behind me as there was a customer who had some sort of involved issue. There was no backup cashier called (not sure they have that capability), and we all just had to wait. I also really wanted to see some dresses in person, but they barely had any - maybe 3 or 4 styles whereas they have a lot online! The clothes are beautiful and maybe if you are shopping 1:1 with an employee on a less busy day, it could even be fun!
