Terribly rude staff that love to judge you and insult you. Will never buy from here after the way I was treated.

We walked in there looking for a prom dress and received quick service. The tailored dress was ready within a week. Very helpful.

Marina at Le Caprice is a lifesaver!…read more I ordered a Vivienne Westwood gown from a very popular bridal shop. When I tried it on during pickup, I knew something was off. It took 3 stylists just to hook the dress together before it could be zipped up. I had not gained any weight since ordering, and the dress felt like it had been ordered a size too small. The stylist who was helping me put on the dress kept reassuring me that the gown had a hard corset, and because it was strapless, it was meant to fit that tightly. Well before my actual wedding, I had my courthouse ceremony... I needed a lot of help to get the dress hooked on, and when it came time to drive to the courthouse, I couldn't even sit up. I had to lean the car seat all the way back in order to make it to the courthouse. The entire afternoon I was so uncomfortable that I didn't even want to drink water. After that experience, I brought my dress to Marina at Le Caprice. She took one look at my back and didn't even bother zipping me up. She assured me that my dress was too small, that it was not just in my head, and offered to remove the zipper and replace it with a corset back! I was nervous because I really loved the top part of my dress and how snatched it made my waist look, but when I received my dress it still looked just as perfect! Not only that, but I was completely comfortable in it when I was sitting and eating at my reception (: Marina was able to complete the alterations super fast at a fair price and I think the corset was elegantly executed. I highly recommend coming to Le Caprice!

I also wanted to emphasize some curves and add extra lift to the girls~ All the above was done without an issue! I was also allowed to schedule in quick try ons to see an alternate bustle option and if my veil matched well. The staff was professional, honest, and thorough with answering my questions. My dress and veil were steamed before pick up, and I was glowing on my wedding day

Indochino - Part of the selection of suit materials

Indochino

I recently visited the Indochino location at Westfield Valley Fair while shopping for several suits…read morefor a new job. I had seen some clearance and sale suits online and wanted to reference those options in-store.   Unfortunately, the initial service I received was very disappointing. The first associate(blonde dyed hair asian worker) I worked with discouraged me from the clearance/sale options by saying they were all made from "cheap" linen material that creases easily, which he said explained the discount. That seemed odd to me, especially since these were Indochino's own products. I later noticed that the sale and clearance options included other fabric blends as well, so the information I was given did not appear to be accurate.   Because I did not feel I was getting helpful guidance, I ended up sitting in the store and placing my order online myself. I purchased approximately $2,000 worth of suits before discounts. During that process, the same associate also suggested that I should buy "nicer" suits because of the job I was starting, which came across as judgmental, unprofessional, and inappropriate.   After I completed the online purchase, he helped me schedule a measuring appointment for 3:00 PM. At that point, another associate assisted me, but the experience still felt disengaged and unhelpful. It seemed like the level of interest dropped once the purchase had already been made online.   The reason I am still giving 2 stars is because another gentleman later stepped in and completely changed the experience. He seemed to recognize that the visit had not gone smoothly, took over the appointment, measured me efficiently, offered helpful insight, and explained how the customizations would affect the final suit. His professionalism and service were excellent and were night-and-day compared to the earlier part of the visit.   Overall, the branding is what made me walk in through the door and I have yet to receive the final product but the customer service experience was very inconsistent. The final associate was great, but the earlier interactions made the visit awkward and frustrating.

Buying suits from Indochino is a complex decision. When reading reviews of the fits and quality of…read morethe suits, it seems like a gamble from the get go. I previously spent $1600 on two suits from Indochino doing the self-measuring (well, had my girlfriend do it following the online instructions) model and ordering online. The results were so bad it was worth it to cut my loss and go a different route (2023). 2026: just got a new job that will require me to move across country from coast to coast. Wanted some tailored suits and noted some great reviews here about in-store fittings being a breeze ... but very few reviews discussing the quality of the final product - only the process. In my head, I said, "there is no way Indochino is in business if it's a bomb every time." So I came into the store, and I met Sterling. He was friendly, asked great questions, did a prime measuring, and asked me about different suit customizations. He even asked if I preferred the pant leg rests slightly on my shoes or to leave space. He was really easy to work with and I felt confident in his measurements. I bought three suits. Product shipped! Oh no... held up at customs! Bizarrely, I live in the Bay Area and the first stop for the suits was L.A. Then it went to Cincinnati (wait, the Bay Area is just 5 hours north of L.A... why would it go to Cincinnati only to come back to California?) Well... whatever. The suits made it finally, and the fit was perfect. Now, I'm not a tailor and while I could say a suit looks good on me, I don't know what specific details would suggest to a tailor it was a little off. Thankfully, the process is: receive suits, book an appointment at the store for a final fit. If any adjustments need to be made, they will make them. Just be sure you come within 14 days of receiving your suits, or no dice, really. I came into within two days. I think you can get a credit of $75 if you miss the final fit, but that may only cover a small portion of any work being done with an external tailor. I tried on a suit and had the associate look it over. He felt really good about the fit and I told him Sterling had been the one to measure me. That's when I learned Sterling was a manager and that he was "incredible, and taught me everything I know" according to the associate. The only downside: the suits come a little wrinkled from shipping, and Indochino doesn't do pressing. I have dry cleaning complimentary through work, so I sent my new suits out for pressing. Since many Indochino suits are half-canvassed (some would say "cheap"), it is important to explain to your dry cleaner not to use full heat/steam on the suits when pressing as the glue that binds them will melt and cause bubbling. You should also not dry clean an Indochino suit very often as the harsh chemicals and heat can cause them to breakdown too. I intend to dry clean them once a year, perhaps, outside of spot cleaning. You should do regular maintenance on your own suit to remove dirt and debris (suit brush + lint roller). I also have a hand steamer if any odors occur (just be cautious of how hot you let that get and understand what areas of the suit may be more at risk for bubbling before using). Also, if your dry cleaner has a flat press/hand press option - have them use that. Too much moisture from an industrial steamer could also damage your suits. I left a note for my dry cleaner to use medium heat and that the suits were half canvassed. She clearly understood and my suits came back pristine. Very sharp looking. I tried my three piece on post-pressing for my special lady friend, and I got the look and dramatic exhale any dude hopes to get from his better-half when he puts on a suit. My experience with Indochino has completely turned around from my first one. I always give places a second chance. I'm glad I did. Sterling was and is outstanding, and I wanted to be sure he got a review that wasn't just about the measuring experience, but one that came full-circle with an amazing outcome. It wasn't just him and the process - the final product was exactly what he and I intended it to be. I am thrilled with the dapper new suits . Especially the midnight blue that Sterling recommended for a Navy suit. It looks sharp as all get out. Thank you, Sterling!!!!

(I used the one at Stanford Mall) My my, there certainly are a lot of negative reviews! All I can say is I'm glad I didn't look at Yelp before trying the service myself. I had a very good experience. The best advice I can give is: Don't select your sizes online; Go get fitted in person. An appointment can be made online for the closest Nordstrom, it is free, and it will take 30 minutes of your time. Plus you'll get to see the fabrics up close. For my fitting, I discovered I should actually be wearing a 40R jacket for the tux style I wanted, not the 42L I usually wear. The saleswoman was friendly and very professional. She noted I needed one minor sleeve alteration. A full ten days prior to my event, I received my altered tux in the mail (obviously brand new). It was in the size & midnight blue color I had ordered. They even threw in a tux shirt, though I had not rented one. It all fit like a glove; and I received several compliments at the actual event (along with my wife, who wore a stunning dress). One of the best aspects - I mailed the tux back to them, in the box it came in, and with a prepaid label. No return visits to the store were required. The only issue for me was the tight return period - My event was on a Thursday, so with a 3-day window I had to race to a Fedex location on a Sunday afternoon (before they closed). It was a steep $60/day to miss that deadline. Geez. (Correction per owner comment - it is actually a one-time fee) But yes - I'd rent from them again.
