She even sent me a picture of a design, and it was exactly what I had envisioned. She didn't have the dress in my size to try on, but I tried on a similar style and just knew I could trust her completely. From there, she custom-made the dress using my exact measurements, and what bride buys a dress she's never tried on? I did, and I couldn't be more thankful that I trusted her. The final dress fit like a glove and required zero alterations before the wedding. It was truly made for me in every sense. Soni was also able to thoughtfully add and remove elements from the original design to make it uniquely mine, and she executed every detail so beautifully. What's most incredible about Soni is her experience and intuition. She has been doing this for so long that she just knows. She always guided me with her honest opinion about what would look best, and she was right every single time. She is a true professional who gives her honest feedback in the kindest way, because all she truly cares about is helping you look and feel your absolute best. Unfortunately for me, I did not get the experience I was hoping for and did not feel like my stylist was able to interpret my vision. This was my 4th time trying on dresses. I previously went to Kleinfeld NYC, Anthropologie Palo Alto, and Kinsley Couture Walnut Creek. I had wonderful experiences at my previous appointments. I decided to come here because one of my friends had recommended them. My budget was $5k so I had a flexible price range. My stylist didn't really explain to me their process at this store so I was a bit confused. I knew it was a one hour time limit and the estimated dresses to try on was 5, but I didn't know it was a hard limit. She ended my appt early at 45 minutes. Had I known I could only try on 5 dresses exactly, it would have been nice if she was transparent about that so I could at least maybe select the dresses I gravitated toward out of her selection. I felt like I was giving feedback after each dress, but kept getting another variation of what I didn't like. The first dress I tried was probably the best out of 5, but from there we kept getting further and further away from what I wanted. There were some dresses I put on and wasn't comfortable to walk out on the podium, but she never asked me if I wanted to show my guests or not. She would just immediately open the curtains and I just felt very exposed and not handled with care. It just didn't feel like a hospitable environment for me or my 3 guests. We were never even offered water. I'm hoping my experience was an outlier and I wish all the brides coming here success in their bridal journey.

Parking is super easy; for my Sunday 3:00 PM appointment, the street parking spots were empty and the nearby parking garage had tons of space. Entrance is a little bit of a hole-in-the-wall, but they put a sign above their entrance, and directions are easy to follow to their front door (store is located on the second floor). My absolute love of this place includes: - the space is huge!! I had a dual fitting with my friend, but we weren't bumping into each other or in each other's pictures or anything at all. I saw that there was another person doing a fitting, but she was practically on the other side of the building, so we weren't encroaching in each other's space. - the dual fitting was a special request, and Jackie made sure to put us in rooms next to each other, which made the process that much more seamless - kitchen: one of my girls set up camp and poured us our teas, mimosas, and champagne in the Bo Lee kitchen. Also a beautiful space! - natural lighting: big and tall windows plus second floor venue equals viewing yourself in true colors instead of only bulb-lighting. The dresses I tried on were beautiful, but in the natural light, I could see how dynamic they were as well! Subtle sparkles, sheer tulle... it all came out differently in the natural light. - stylist chooses the dresses based on conversations and preference. Jackie, my stylist, knew the entire inventory. I just described what I thought I wanted, and she delivered!! I was relieved that I didn't have to go through dress after dress on the floor and hum and haw about whether I wanted to try it on or not. (Some people might not like this, but I feel like I had a curated try-on collection from an expert who saw the bigger picture.) - I also love how Jackie had me try on a dress I didn't think was the style I wanted, and she dotted her Is and crossed her Ts so I could for sure say with confidence that that particular dress style was a "no" from me. - both Jackie and Bo Lee took my measurements to make sure there wasn't an error, and it's the little things like that that make you feel confident in choosing them as your bridal boutique. I'm happy, I saw and tried on so many styles, and I had such a fun time! I also went under-budget for what I wanted for my dress, which is a win!

I fell in love with the first dress that I tried on, but wanted straps on them (it was a strapless dress). Jessica said that she can alter the dress to sew straps on for me, but suggested that I try on a couple other dresses just in case I liked those more. I did and it made me love the first dress even more! Jessica made me feel comfortable and was very accommodating. She did not rush me and allowed me to take all the time that I needed with every dress that I tried on. I've heard stories from friends that took up to a year to find the one. I am so lucky that I was able to find a rental that I love so quickly. I had to come back prior to picking up before the big day because my mom wanted me to wear something that did not show my tattoos and Jessica was able to still make it work for me in the same dress that I fell in love with! I also liked how they helped me get into the dresses and gave their feedback on veil lengths, silhouettes, materials, and etc. I've gone to another bridal boutique that was more "posh" and the service was so lackluster in comparison. Everyone I've had contact with at Elegant Lace Bridal has always been polite and knowledgeable. I highly recommend checking out Elegant Lace Bridal. The atmosphere is more casual but the service is excellent and there are tons of options you can browse through in store.

The representative proceeded to tell me I'll just have to owner call you and rudely ended the phone call. Feeling stressed, I immediately called back and said let's just reschedule to this Friday then, and the same lady rudely goes "Really?! Are you sure you're going to feel better by then?" I mean in the most sarcastic way possible. She proceeded to just rush me off the phone again after that. This whole exchange made me feel completely unwanted and guilty for not being able to come in. Why would any place want me to come in as the bride with a fever, vomiting and diarrhea?? NONE of the other places I had to contact gave me ANY attitude or ANY guilt AT ALL and were completely fine with me moving it out to the May 2nd date. After seeing these negative reviews about this place, it all clicked. The staff here needs some serious customer service training. Eliminated this place entirely off my dress shopping list.

It took 3 stylists just to hook the dress together before it could be zipped up. I had not gained any weight since ordering, and the dress felt like it had been ordered a size too small. The stylist who was helping me put on the dress kept reassuring me that the gown had a hard corset, and because it was strapless, it was meant to fit that tightly. Well before my actual wedding, I had my courthouse ceremony... I needed a lot of help to get the dress hooked on, and when it came time to drive to the courthouse, I couldn't even sit up. I had to lean the car seat all the way back in order to make it to the courthouse. The entire afternoon I was so uncomfortable that I didn't even want to drink water. After that experience, I brought my dress to Marina at Le Caprice. She took one look at my back and didn't even bother zipping me up. She assured me that my dress was too small, that it was not just in my head, and offered to remove the zipper and replace it with a corset back! I was nervous because I really loved the top part of my dress and how snatched it made my waist look, but when I received my dress it still looked just as perfect! Not only that, but I was completely comfortable in it when I was sitting and eating at my reception (: Marina was able to complete the alterations super fast at a fair price and I think the corset was elegantly executed. He helped us choose fabrics, explained the history behind different áo dài styles, and made thoughtful recommendations based on how traditional we wanted our outfits to be. When we ran into a small issue because there wasn't enough of one fabric we loved, he was incredibly accommodating and helped us come up with different ideas while also offering to try to source more of the same fabric. What stood out most was Michael's kindness and genuine care. He never made us feel rushed and truly wanted us to leave with something we'd love. When he found out we were visiting from Virginia, he even shared recommendations for places to eat and explore around San Jose! All of these chairs were done in real leather from piping to side trims, every chair was consistent and completely redone in only 4 DAYS! I expected a week or maybe 2 at minimum but they really set the standard. If you're hesitant to find someone to do your upholstery, don't be, just go here it's worth it.

Halena altered my wedding dress and she did an amazing job! I absolutely loved everything about the experience. Her shop was beautiful and both her and the gentleman working at the front desk were very sweet and accommodating. Since then I have brought two other gowns/dresses in and she did a fantastic job altering them as well. I definitely recommend Halena Couture and give 5 starts in all areas: price, experience, job quality, customer service, etc etc. She will be my go to alterations place for my dresses from now on. I was so happy with my alterations from Halena! She made my wedding dress fit like a glove, and she fixed my veil perfectly! It was a vintage piece of lace that needed the most delicate touch, and she was able to gently update it and attach it to a newish tulle one to look like they went together all along! I started my alterations process on 3/9/26 for a 7/18/26 wedding, which I was told was a good time…read moreframe to begin to start with a hem and work up to the bodice later. When I picked up my dress the week of my wedding, (all bagged up from steaming) I was told my pick up appointment did not need to include a try-on. I was extremely disappointed with my wedding dress alterations. On the evening before my wedding as I was fluffing the train, I discovered that the hemming was incomplete and portions of the design had not been finished as expected. At that point, there was no time to bring the dress back to have it corrected, leaving my bridesmaids to spend part of the wedding morning finishing the hemming themselves instead of getting ready. A bride should be able to trust that her dress will be complete and ready, especially with the additional services that were paid, for one of the most important days of her life. This added unnecessary stress and took away from what should have been an exciting, joyful morning. While the experience with the staff was good; Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this business based on the final product I received.

Entrance is a little bit of a hole-in-the-wall, but they put a sign above their entrance, and directions are easy to follow to their front door (store is located on the second floor). My absolute love of this place includes: - the space is huge!! I had a dual fitting with my friend, but we weren't bumping into each other or in each other's pictures or anything at all. I saw that there was another person doing a fitting, but she was practically on the other side of the building, so we weren't encroaching in each other's space. - the dual fitting was a special request, and Jackie made sure to put us in rooms next to each other, which made the process that much more seamless - kitchen: one of my girls set up camp and poured us our teas, mimosas, and champagne in the Bo Lee kitchen. Also a beautiful space! - natural lighting: big and tall windows plus second floor venue equals viewing yourself in true colors instead of only bulb-lighting. The dresses I tried on were beautiful, but in the natural light, I could see how dynamic they were as well! Subtle sparkles, sheer tulle... it all came out differently in the natural light. - stylist chooses the dresses based on conversations and preference. Jackie, my stylist, knew the entire inventory. I just described what I thought I wanted, and she delivered!! I was relieved that I didn't have to go through dress after dress on the floor and hum and haw about whether I wanted to try it on or not. (Some people might not like this, but I feel like I had a curated try-on collection from an expert who saw the bigger picture.) - I also love how Jackie had me try on a dress I didn't think was the style I wanted, and she dotted her Is and crossed her Ts so I could for sure say with confidence that that particular dress style was a "no" from me. - both Jackie and Bo Lee took my measurements to make sure there wasn't an error, and it's the little things like that that make you feel confident in choosing them as your bridal boutique. I'm happy, I saw and tried on so many styles, and I had such a fun time! I also went under-budget for what I wanted for my dress, which is a win!

It took 3 stylists just to hook the dress together before it could be zipped up. I had not gained any weight since ordering, and the dress felt like it had been ordered a size too small. The stylist who was helping me put on the dress kept reassuring me that the gown had a hard corset, and because it was strapless, it was meant to fit that tightly. Well before my actual wedding, I had my courthouse ceremony... I needed a lot of help to get the dress hooked on, and when it came time to drive to the courthouse, I couldn't even sit up. I had to lean the car seat all the way back in order to make it to the courthouse. The entire afternoon I was so uncomfortable that I didn't even want to drink water. After that experience, I brought my dress to Marina at Le Caprice. She took one look at my back and didn't even bother zipping me up. She assured me that my dress was too small, that it was not just in my head, and offered to remove the zipper and replace it with a corset back! I was nervous because I really loved the top part of my dress and how snatched it made my waist look, but when I received my dress it still looked just as perfect! Not only that, but I was completely comfortable in it when I was sitting and eating at my reception (: Marina was able to complete the alterations super fast at a fair price and I think the corset was elegantly executed. I also liked how they helped me get into the dresses and gave their feedback on veil lengths, silhouettes, materials, and etc. I've gone to another bridal boutique that was more "posh" and the service was so lackluster in comparison. Everyone I've had contact with at Elegant Lace Bridal has always been polite and knowledgeable. I highly recommend checking out Elegant Lace Bridal. The atmosphere is more casual but the service is excellent and there are tons of options you can browse through in store.

I was told over the phone "I understand you're sick and everything but this is a last min cancellation so we don't reschedule that far out". All I needed was to shift my April 13th appointment to May 2nd, again because I was completely sick with the flu and that was the next date my family would be back in town. The representative proceeded to tell me I'll just have to owner call you and rudely ended the phone call. Feeling stressed, I immediately called back and said let's just reschedule to this Friday then, and the same lady rudely goes "Really?! Are you sure you're going to feel better by then?" I mean in the most sarcastic way possible. She proceeded to just rush me off the phone again after that. This whole exchange made me feel completely unwanted and guilty for not being able to come in. Why would any place want me to come in as the bride with a fever, vomiting and diarrhea?? NONE of the other places I had to contact gave me ANY attitude or ANY guilt AT ALL and were completely fine with me moving it out to the May 2nd date. After seeing these negative reviews about this place, it all clicked. The staff here needs some serious customer service training. Eliminated this place entirely off my dress shopping list.

She has detachable sleeves for if you prefer an off-the-shoulder look. The owner is very accommodating. She also has veils and accessories so if you want a whole package at an affordable price, I would recommend. If you are a short girl like me, try to find dresses that are short so you don't waste time on the longer dresses (unless you plan to buy and alter). The dresses pictured are around $550-680 for rental if I remember correctly. Lastly, Email communications were prompt and clear.

The outfits were nice and clean. My husband decided to get his tuxedo here and it was tailored well enough he only needed one fitting appointment. Eva included a tea set and cushions for us. All of the rentals were ready for pick up a few days prior to our wedding and we returned it a few days after. Eva was easy to talk to and made our process simple. Though the selection is more limited, it made it much more of a relaxing experience. They cycle styles once every year. They have recently relocated to Coleman from Fremont. It is a bit harder to get to their lot depending on traffic.

She also helped to hem the dress and create a slit for me so the dress was a tad sexier and easier to move in. I really didn't want to be lifting my dress all night to move and I didn't wear heels. I felt like such a princess in the dress after the alterations. She also helped show my maid of honor how to bustle the dress and let us record her showing us how to do it.
