I'm not sure the woman's name, but I can tell you that EVERY SINGLE TIME I've been in this store she offers up THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Staff here is helpful, great at walking you through what is on sale, and so quick to order anything you can't find in the store straight to your house. I found an amazing Cookies shirt in a fire color way, only to discover the teenager REALLY wanted another hoodie. And...because I'm a pushover, and because this location makes every transaction so enjoyable, I drop a few bills each time we roll in. All I have to say is Kayla is DOPE! My husband and I came in last week and came across some stuff we really liked, and decided to come back today to buy more of the line. We drove all the way from Berkley to come back to this store specifically. I called the store in concord but it just was not the same. Kayla was so accommodating and was incredibly helpful! A great conversation holder and made us fee special! We went for lunch and decided to go back for more. Kayla was still there! Dropped everything to help us! This was my first time at Zumiez and I got to say that it was a great experience! Usually I shop at the Vans outlet store next door but today I didn't feel like I was a welcomed customer, the helpers in the store were chatting and didn't even want to help me look for the shoes I wanted. The guy just said "look over there". Immediately after that I walked out. I looked next door and saw this store called Zumiez and I thought to myself, what the hell I'll give it a try. Immediately walking in I was greeted by Josh and Amy who were very attentive to what I was looking for. Josh was very nice and helped me with looking for the shoes I wanted. My overall experience at Zumiez was fantastic. I will definitely be a returning customer. The number one rule for me shopping at any store, is customer service. All it takes is a simple smile and asking how I'm doing. To Josh and Amy, keep up the great work. Another note: The store is very clean and organized to where I can find everything easily. They have a great selection of shoes and clothes. I should've signed up for the membership points rewards since I feel like I'll be a constant returning customer but I'll do it when I return. Store is usually very organized and easy to navigate, clothes are neatly folded. Was at the cashier with a friend after waiting ten minutes in line and all of a sudden I get whacked by a giant teddy bear. The bear fell from the pole that one of the workers were using to bring down and hit my head pretty hard. I know it wasn't intentional and I was already having a bad day, but the workers need to be more careful about handling their products and swinging it over customers who are standing underneath. I came here yesterday to purchase a Hershel back pack. I initially entered the store expecting to be greeted by an employee and then left alone to shop but the girl who greeted me seemed very genuine, she made me want to stick around. Best store ever! The staff is always super friendly, energetic, and happy. They immediately greet you and offer help. There is a huge selection of popular brands from Obey and Diamond Supply to Brxton and Stussy. All sizes are usually always stocked! Being new to longboards, I asked for help in finding the best longboard for me but I ended up getting a really crappy one bc the guy who was helping me didn't really give me any advice on which parts make the board ride a certain way. INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH AMAZING STAFF!!!!!! Everyone was extremely helpful, super friendly and made me feel so welcome. I interacted with about 4 staff member but the two that went above and beyond for me was Hope and Katie. I was there for a pair of shoes I saw online. I called the store and spoke with Katie who checked the stock, verified the price and even suggested she hold the next size up because that particular brands sizing varies. Hope was super pleasant on the phone and I was very excited at that point! I arrived at the store, tried on both pairs and she was right, I did need the next size up so I was thankful she thought ahead for me. Katie was working the front end and I spent a lot of time with her which made me experience super awesome. She was very engaging in conversation, gave her personal input on suggestions and was so patient with me as I made my selections. I can't thank her enough because I had tried on maybe 4-5 styles of shoes during my visit. I greatly appreciate her super fast, friendly services to take care of me. I finishEd my experience with Hope who made me feel very appreciated as a customer and I will definitely be returning to this location again! She went above and beyond to even get a tiny scuff out of my slides that she noticed and that made me feel so valued! Although I have another mall closer to me, the service here was unparalleled. No pressure, everyone was super interactive and attentive to what I was looking for and I left feeling like a rockstar! I wish more stores were like this. Don't get me wrong, I love Zumiez, but this visit was disappointing to say the least. Me and a friend went in to purchase the "I heart boobies" bracelets because we were told they were sold here. They had them, but they told us to purchase them that we would need to purchase something else from the store. The money from the purchases goes to a nonprofit organization that we wanted to support and we couldn't because corporate is greedy and money hungry. It's really unfortunate. read more

I came in expecting to be greeted, but I wasn't at all. It didn't bother me taking on account I went in on the weekend and all the employees were busy assisting other customers. I went in to look for a board for someone for Christmas. As I was perusing the selections Josh came up to me asking if I needed any help. He was very knowledgable and was able to help me narrow down what type of board I should get for my friend. He had great customer service and was incredible helpful. Shady business here. I went into the store hoping they would have size 7 (men's) Nike SB Jenoskis. Luckily they had one pair in stock but the left shoe did not fit right. It was too loose while the right shoe fit fine. I thought it was my foot but confirmed that it was the shoe when I tried on another pair of different color (same size). The employees kept trying to have me buy the shoes in store. They told me that it must be my foot and that it's different from my right. I understand that we're not symmetrical but when you saw the left shoe, it's visibly larger than the right even if they're the same size. All of my other Nikes fit fine! I decided that I wanted to order a pair of shoes online since they didn't have another pair. I should have just left. They ordered the shoes online for me in store. When I received the package, the mailing label was from this exact store.... And guess what!? It was the same exact pair that I tried on in store. I didn't order online just to get the same pair that I did not want. They clearly knew I did not want that pair because I found it to be defective and I am very very upset that this is what customer service has come to. I would avoid this place. read more

I usually like Zumiez but the people who work there are starting to bug me. My brother and I walked in so he could get some Zumiez stickers. He's usually a shy guy when it comes to asking people for stuff, so when he finally asked a girl who worked there she asked for him to dance. My brother didn't want to, so instead she asked him to sing with her! It was just like wtf can't you just give him the stickers. This is my first review of a retail store and let me start with, I don't like shopping /:[ But we were helped right away! :) My daughter and I were looking at the Toms' display at the front of the store and the guy with the backpack invited us inside the store to show us the larger selection of Toms. Impressive for a young guy. The guy with the backpack was courteous too, great soft skills as he apologized for the length of time it took one of the girls to grab our shoes but the store was busy so I understood it may take her awhile and the wait wasn't that bad considering the number of customers in the store. The guy actually apologized a couple of times and thanked us for our patience while we waited for the shoes. I will never go back in this place! The Cashier was rude! No customer service! I came in with returns and original receipt I told the lady with long hair in the cashier if she can get me large and not extra large instead so it will be even exchanged. That rude cashier put my clothes aside and and call the next person in line and said I wasn't ready yet. Wow! I just wanted to leave but she took the clothes and my receipt that I had bought. I thought she was going to help me I end up getting the shirt myself instead! Shopping for my son...with my son Let me explain, shopping for shoes with my daughter(15)...easy, breezy, never a problem... my son(16) its excruciatingly painful, its a two day process, from Stoneridge to The Great Fall of Milpitas to New Park...back to stoneridge, back to new park.... JUST PICK SOME F'IN SHOES ALREADY!!!!!! He walks in to Zumiez, I walk to the sticker encrusted counter and the the guy asks if I need help. "I need you to get me outta here in less than half an hour" my son picks a shoe...just one so I'm not really thinkin its the golden shoe...its the golden shoe...in size 9...he needs 12. I'm now officially insane!!!! "Can I help you" trills from all around me and soon all but one employee(manning the stickered desk) are digging through the totally unorganized, 20ft by 5ft pile of shoe boxes in the center of the store. Who cares, I'm not picking it back up. The award goes to the girl in the red top. Size 12 shoes. Ummm, there's no chair, bench, etc. Found it, its under the table doing extra storage for the t-shirts. AND THE SHOES FIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
