Okay store. Shoes aren't really on sale for an outlet it was buy one get one 50% off sale item. No one offered help.

We really enjoy this store. Staff were really nice and helpful. They had a couple of awesome deals going on. 3 shirts for $30. The other deal is buy 2 sale priced shoes get that second pair half off. Or buy one regular priced shoe and get the sale priced shoe 50% off. The store was a bit stuffy and there were too many people in the store so it was hard to try on shoes. People were sitting on the benches for resting and on their phones and there were boxes of shoes everywhere so it was a bit messy. We will have to come back during the weekday that way we can take our time looking and to try on shoes. So we only got to buy shirts and left without any new shoes. read more

Completely excited when I saw a pair of shoes on sales! Originally $70 to $9.95 on the red price tag. Then I went up to the cashier and he say that it was incorrect. That maybe the ink didn't show up on it or maybe someone switch the price. I don't care what all the excuses about. I want what is stated on the markdown price!!!! I'm not the type to make a scene, so I left and didn't buy anything in that store. Because what if I find another pair, and it is also marked incorrectly...would be a total waste of time to go up to the cashier and find out that it is 3X more. They really need to be on top of marking the price correctly. If a mistake like this happen, then they should honor it instead of making stupid excuse. I won't be shopping here. read more

Just your typical Van's store but what makes this shop stand out is the BOGO 1/2 off sale that they offer on a daily. This particular sale only applies if you can locate [BOTH] a regular priced pair of kicks and a clearance|red tagged markdown pair. Customer service is good but attentiveness can be lacking depending on your visit. There have been more than one occasion where I found myself having to hunt someone down for assistance. The store in itself is normally organized but the racks in the back can cause a little bit of claustrophobia. There is a nice selection of cute kiddy designs, special collabs [Marvel, Peanuts, Disney, Nintendo], and unique styles that you normally wouldn't be able to find. Do be advised that there are potentially additional sizes in the stockroom if you aren't able to find the size you are searching for. 4 stars over all. This is THE spot for you are a lover of Vans & would like to save a buck or two. read more

I like Vans for their casual sneakers. My go-to is the ATWOOD style. I think I've gone through like two pairs already in the past two years. They're stylish and not too thick. I recently found a pair of discounted ATWOODs here for about $30 which is awesome. They were slightly less black than my usual pair but I thought the price savings was worth it. read more

The only reason I scored it at 4 is that, all of the store clerks aren't approachable at all. This one lady in the counter looked irrate when I asked her for the price of a pair of shoes with no price tag on it. I asked her about the BOGO 50% promo, but she seemed really irritated explaining it to me. She didn't even explained it well, so I just left the counter annoyed and off I began my search. With the exemption of one, Justin has been very helpful with everything. He's by far the only one in the store who loves his job. Others look so miserable. From getting me different sizes and explaining to me the BOGO promo. For 80 bucks I got a pair of pro skateboard shoes and a pair of running shoes plus 6 pairs of socks. Score! read more

Definitely the store to shop at when you want Vans! Especially unique finds (ie: Marvel Avengers). I was on a hunt for a specific pair of UltraRange but I had no luck finding it anymore at local stores and Van's website. Luckily, I decided to hit up this store and amazingly I found it in the clearance section!! I took advantage on the bogo50% and left super happy. In addition, clothes and socks were bogo50% but most of the accessories was bogo free (which included slide on sandals and backpacks). Customer service was great as I needed a certain size in slip ons. Lastly, there is 1 con-- for the most part, I can wear mens shoes but with all the options and unisex sizes, it can be overwhelming with all the clearance finds. read more

Shoe i liked had a stain....there were no other style in my sons size. prior to buying , sales clerk said she could remove it with a "cleaner" .... It just ruined the shoe even more. who the #%*! buys new shoes that look used and made worst by the sales clerk! And the cleaner solution needed time to dry so i did not think anything at time of her applying the cleaner. ugh. overall, I do love vans and appreciate the outlet..... would give more stars but the clerk ruined my visit today. read more

I bought a shoe at Vans and tried to return it because the size was not right. The manager refused to accept my return and was extremely rude. They state when you buy that they accept returns, but change their attitude when someone tries to return it. is this how they treat their customer? This is a good place to find a specific shoe, but if you are looking for shoes then many other place might be better. Came here a while ago and found the place to be dirty, yes shoes all over the place. The employees not doing much to keep the store clean. I was unable to find exactly what one of my boys wanted, so decided to go to another location within the mall and was able to find exactly what he wanted. YO VANS! Major complaint coming your way.... There's nothing more annoying that shopping through crowds... but WAIT.... yes there is!!!! SHOPPING AT THIS LOCATION!!!!! Don't get me wrong.... we love VANS. Slip ons.... no laces, innexpensive, perfect for parents with kids, but NO,YOUR STORE ISN'T PERFECT FOR WE PARENTS! This is the second time I visited your store with a child in a stroller.... and the fury came raging through my pores as I reminised on the reasons why I didn't buy anything the FIRST TIME! I CAN'T MOVE!!!! I would have t knocked over a 5 foot tower of shoe boxes if it hadn't been for one of your employees. I had to send the husband outside and sit him on a bench in front of the fountain so I could shop properly. Well Vans... I didn't buy anything. There were definitely some cute velcros I kept in my hands... but not being able to try them on the kiddos ..... resulted in me exiting the store. PLEASE..... Because my son wears a size 14 and the "vans" corporation only makes a select amount in that size how convenient that there were no size 14 shoes on sale and we were not able to participate in the advertised sale ....after getting no where with the sales clerk I asked to speak with the manager who was On lunch and seemed annoyed that I interrupted her time which also got me no where... Dear Vans, I love you. No really, if I could wear my slip-ons every day, I would. Oh wait, I can, and I pretty much do. The outlet is my store of choice for Vans purchases because, helloooo, it's cheaper than any other supplier. And until recently, this was the only Vans store in the area. Looking at other reviews, I have to say that people have some pretty "let me roll my eyes" reviews: of course it's going to be crowded and full of teenagers and bringing the entire family along to buy sneakers is annoying for everyone else in the store. So, ok, the checkout process is slow, but otherwise, I think this store has pretty good customer service, especially given that 99% of the employees are younger than I am. For example, I came in a few weeks ago and found a pair of slip-ons in this interesting grey pattern I'd never seen, and they were only $29.99. I didn't buy them that day because I told myself I don't need another pair, but found myself regretting that decision. I came back again on Friday and explained the design to the sales guy-- he knew exactly what "grey with these thin white and red kind of plaid lines" meant-- and to my luck, there was one pair left, and in my size! The bf was with me and also wanted to buy a pair of shoes; he was able to try his size on in both colors he liked and picked out a pair of solid grey slip-ons that were cheaper than the regular Vans store. You have to remember that this is an outlet so duh it's going to be crowded and busy and probably not have every single thing you want, but I am writing this review with that in mind which is why I think this place is great. read more

I wasn't expecting much and really don't like driving to Great Mall, but I wanted to check out a Vans Outlet store (specifically for the shoes) and figured I'd go to this location and cross it off my list. Due diligence. Man, was I happy to be wrong! First: There was a really good selection of shoes -- not amazing, but really good, and the prices were terrific. I had a bunch of Vans money to spend and started pulling a bunch of styles. An employee named Chris came over and started talking to me and the short version is: He went above and beyond to help me out. He said he had a bunch of styles in back that weren't on the shelves, and he asked me what I was looking for. I was just shopping, so I was probably a little vague, but we looked at what I'd already picked and walked around and I pointed at things I liked and things I definitely didn't like. He went in back and came back out with about 15 pairs of shoes and, I'm telling you -- he hit the nail on the head with about 80% of them. Some I already owned, but there were probably only two or three pair where I thought, "No -- not for me." Chris was super patient as we went through about two dozen pair figuring out what I could buy with the sale that was offered, and when he turned things over to the floor manager (Daniella) for the final tally, I wound up with nine pairs of shoes for $184.49. Are you kidding me!? I'm uploading a photo of the nine -- one was even a pair which was discontinued that I'd been looking for for months and had found online, shipped from China for about $85-$90; I got 'em yesterday for cheap. Icing on the cake: There's a problem with one a $75 gift card I have and Daniella (forgive me if I have spelled either name wrong) was really cheerful and did her best to get things sorted. It's unresolved but I'm confident that the staff will figure out what's up and help me out. Of the three employees I was helped by, all of them were friendly and accommodating and I'd be proud to have people like that on staff. I've always been able to find great deals when I come here. Usually from the sales/discount section you can buy one pair of shoes and the second 50% off. You can mix and match between men, women & children's shoes. There's a good variety for what's on sale. Before, they would not have deals that included the classic Vans but the last time I went, about a week ago, they included the classics to the buy one get one half off deal. They also had the same deal for the socks which was cool- they had a lot of unique patterned socks. I got my niece some cute Disney princess socks. After paying, I was give a $20 off gift card (with the purchase of $50) for next time. Which isn't bad. Just another way to enable me to come back and get more shoes! read more

Love the deals @ this location. It's an outlet, so yes it's crowded and chaotic. More so than other outlets, but at least there's lots of merch. Dig a little and you'll really find the deals--there's usually some sort of promo going on as well. Great place to stock up on the classics, plus cool shorts and tees. read more

I came here looking for some shoes, preferably any leather hi tops like the Syndicates but I knew they woulnd't have them at an outlet. Regardless I tried to look for anything cool and worth buying. Upon entering, I'm greeted, which is always cool to know that people acknowledge you and it's kind of like a hello and thanks for stopping by my shop kinda deal. (iono if this makes sense, but i'm weird). Anyways, after starting to search for shoes, I notice the same guy say the same thing to next 5 people who enter the store. Okay now you just sound like a mindless robotic retail slave "greeting" people. Not really original, hence the "commission" type environment feel. I was in the store for about 10 minutes or less and was approached by all the associates asking if I needed help. Whenever I said no, they told me their name and "let me know if you need anything". For the record I work for a performance/sales based company BUT unlike the people here at Vans I care about my clients, am not at all pushy, and very knowledgable. I don't know if they work off sales but they need to learn to not be so pushy and space invasive. Try changing up the greeting, not screaming, and definitely stop sounding so commission hungry. It might not be the sales associates fault but rather whomever trained them. Still my experience was shitty. This place deserves 0 stars. read more

0k. Real talk. 1st visit. Half these reviews are gruesome. 1-2star gnarl snarls. I just recently visited (4/1 around 4pm). It wasn't bad. Not crowded, maybe about 8 customers. Admittedly, it is a little hard to maneuver between aisles with just a few patrons, and 4 boxes in arm...but chill out. It's an outlet store. Where there's discounts there's people. Believe dat! Bought 3 pairs of authentics.(Total of $30.00!) Maybe this store was a hell hole before my visit, maybe it was just a slow day/good day, maybe those who wrote bad reviews are spoiled "adults" who throw a fit when it's impossible for an employee to give their spoiled child undivided attention during an ASS-CROWDED shift! Or not. Retail employees can be extremely rude. Oh yes they can. Wasn't the case during my visit. I was offered assistance three times. Not to mention, I'm used to shopping non assisted but the offer is appreciated. Of the three pairs I bought the cashier knocked 1/2 off of the MOST expensive. Total came to 65 bones, used $10 Vans gift card, $25 VISA gift card (thnx mommy) and the rest on credit. $30.11! Then I boogied outta there. Yeah, people still boogie. Theivin' it. p.s. I love Vans! This store is small just like the other Vans Outlet stores I've been too. I love going to the Vans Outlet stores cause you can buy 1 shoe for it's original price and get the other shoe half off. I even found these pair of Sophie's that I've been wanting for a while now for only $10 #winning, haha. I even checked the shoes to see if it was my size and guess what? It was a 7.5 and not a 7. YAY, finally we have a Vans OUTLET Store at the (not so) Great Mall! We had a skate park and a regular shoe store, so it's about time the outlet mall of the Bay Area has a Vans Outlet. I went here today and was amazed to find that mostly everything was well organized and tidy, even down to the sale clothing item sizes. The shoes came in good condition boxes, not crappy, ripped or torn apart, which is surprising for sale shoes that are out on the floor. They have great deals here! My boyfriend found a pair of jeans for $20, and all the shoes we bought were buy 1 get one 1/2 off, even though they were already marked down... So I got $15 dollar rain boots! That's like 75% off retail price. read more

This location indeed has great deals but good lord there is barely any room to breathe! The associates and customer service was alright but that whole place was just unorganized and cluttered. The walk ways barely fit one person going back and forth and there was no structure of the formation of the line at the checkout. You are weaved in with other customers through racks of clothing in between its hard to tell where the like ends. If you want a stressful shopping experience then here is one hell of a place, if you prefer a quiet one then I suggest a different location like Eastridge. read more

I just went to buy my daughter shoes there yesterday (sept 6th) 2011 and the place looks like crap!! not only that but the customer service is horrible! the kid walking around the store didnt ask us for help he nudged his way through us then said excuse me and wasnt even friendly about it. for the record im not a snobby cry baby customer who gets bent out of shape for nothing but as someone whos worked in retail and has worked for VANS! i didnt like the way they run $hit there. the girl at the register was rude! banging my shoes around and just throwing them in the bag i wanted to tell her something but didnt wanna waste my time on those kids. I love this shoe store, this store always has a buy one get one half off deal. The styles are never the latest but Vans old school and even last season shoes are super cool.
