I went to purchase running shoes from this store. Upon taking my merchandise to the checkout counter I encounter a young Asian guys working the cash register, as he called my turn , he greeted me with an attitude as he didn't want to be there. I asked how his day was, but the young guys just looked at me as he was there doing me a favor to check out my items. I paid for my stuff and I as I was leaving I said for him to have a good day. No response or not even an acknowledgment. Why these places think that they are doing customers a favor by being there. Customers spend money so you can stay in business. If it wasn't for us consumer no would have a feeling job. Treat people like you want to be treated. If you can't deal with the public simple stay home and get a remote job. I love this Nike store! I get all my running shoes here now. I swear by Nike's line of running shoes for outdoor running and jogging on the treadmill, so about every 6-8 months I'll come here to shop and get a new pair. They have great deals, and the staff is always friendly. Plus, this store is clean and organized. I came here on Monday to find a new pair of shoes (had worn mine out, I run almost everyday), and I was very happy to find a pair I liked. Also, their fitting rooms are fairly spacious, so easy to try on clothes if you're buying workout gear. In addition, they keep a history and log of everything you've purchased from them in your account history. So helpful to see what running shoes I've tried out in the past. Really rude staff. I went with my 70 yr old parents to buy them walking shoes and one of the staff member was extremely rude to us. We ignored the first time but 10 mins later he came again to insult us in front of everybody again just because I was bringing a lot of shoes for my parents to try who were sitting at one place. I tried to reach to store manager and one of the staff guy claiming to be one of the store managers said they can't take complains and I will have to reach out to customer care if I have to file a formal complaint. Stopped here while at Great Mall, and the store was busy, but not overly busy. Good selection of shoes, all at varying prices and varying sizes. *TIP: if you're looking just to come to this store only and don't wanna bother checking out the rest of the mall, park near the entrance by Burlington Coat Factory. That said, I like stopping here first to check out their deals before going to any of the other shoe stores in the mall. I always manage to come up at this place (but it probably helps I can fit in youth sizes, heh) For instance, I was able to buy 3 pairs for $190 total! Employees are always friendly and helpful. Weird chain of events but I needed emergency running shoes on the weekend but didn't want to go crazy with an expensive pair. My first thought was to check out Great Mall since it is more of an outlet mall and I could probably find something cheap. We happened to park at the furthest point away from the Nike Factory Store which was my final destination. I visited at least 5 other shoe stores before I finally reached. Despite being the last store we checked out none of the other stores had shoes that had good styling, could be used for running, and were also affordable. Honestly it's really hectic in the store with tons of people in the shoe aisles. They aren't really wide so it's really hard to walk through them with everyone browsing at the same time. Getting a seat to try on a pair is also difficult for the same reason. I have to give props to the employees because there weren't boxes strewn everywhere and the shelves were very organized. The shelves normally have a display shoe with boxes of different sizes behind them. There weren't any that were out of place and I didn't ever open a box to be surprised with another style or size that I wanted. I was able to find a couple pairs that I liked and they were both sub $60 which is really good for a pair of women's Nikes. I didn't even have to browse the kids section. The very back wall has items that are an extra 20% off the lowest ticketed price which can bring some shoes down to the $40 range. There was a line up to check out but it really wasn't that bad. There was a price discrepancy at the register but the girl who helped us radioed someone to confirm the price so it was no issue. read more

This location always makes purchasing and returning items so easy. Just today I returned a pair of Nike Jordans that didn't fit my son, and they took it back with no problem. I thought seeing how I bought them from the official Nike store online, there would be a problem returning at the Nike factory outlet. This was not the case. Also, every time I come into the store, they seem to have plenty of employees at the register and the line moves fairly quick. Their selections are a bit limited, but you'll most likely find something you need, and for the price, it's good. read more

These dummies charge full retail price for shoes (sometimes offer 20 to 30% off rack shoes). It is not a factory outlet store anymore. I understand recent inflection but the same shoes go for 50% off at different online retailers. Staff is typical, meaning youngsters think they're top athletics and regular customers are idiots (typical mindset). The place where my hubby and daughter gets their shoes. Just like the other factory stores, a person can get affordable shoes/items when you buy from here. I honestly think there are better factory places to shop than this place. Other places like the one in San Leandro has more choices and better layout that the cramped space here in GreatMall. Love the store! I can find here some very good priced sneakers and I almost every visit leaving with a good deal. One thing that got me is that they replaced pair of sneakers I got here and the main rope that holds everything in place was getting lose. I paid cash and did not have the receipt on me. BIRTHDAY GIFT EXCHANGE (PART II): "ALEX SMITH TRADE - DRAFT PICKS" Before the 49ers first ever home game at Levi's Stadium I came to this store last Sunday with the hope to exchange the Lunarglide+ 4 pair that I got from the Livermore Outlet location for either an Air Force 1 07 or Prestige IV. To my delight this store sold the Prestige IV. I already had two pairs of this shoe but I wanted to start a collection with this shoe. Unlike the Livermore location the black/ charcoal pair was in the regular display and not the clearance section. I already knew what I wanted. So after make the exchange I received a refund of $26.80. Since I had a gift receipt instead of cash I was given a Nike gift card with the fund of $26.80. So I was happy that for exchanging the Lunarglide+ 4 pair I got two gifts. In a sense it was similar to trading down an NFL draft pick - trade down to get two draft picks. I wasn't sure what I had in mind to use the gift card until I saw the Jerry Rice 49ers jersey. I'm a huge 49ers fan but never had a 49ers jersey before. I didn't know what 49ers jersey to get. There were four players I had in mind that I considered the best ever in their respective position: #16 Joe Montana (quarterback), #80 Jerry Rice (wide receiver), #42 Ronnie Lott (safety), and #21 Deion Sanders. Another reason I never got a 49ers jersey was because they're so expensive - cost between $100 and $130. I wanted to get a 49ers jersey when I felt the time was right. That day I didn't get the Jerry Rice jersey. However I came back here last Thursday specifically to get the Jerry Rice jersey. I didn't check the price the last time I came here, but since he was a former player I was thinking the regular price would be between $70 and $85. When I found out the jersey was $100 I was hesitant. I also saw a 49ers t shirt that showed the California state. That shirt cost about $26. I thought about using that gift card for the shirt only that would result in almost free gift. Since the theme of my review is draft picks I thought about what Bill Walsh did when it came to drafting Jerry Rice in the 1985 NFL Draft. He traded the 49ers first two picks to New England Patriots for their #16 draft pick in the first round. The 49ers drafted Jerry Rice as the 16th draft pick in the first round. As the saying goes the rest is history. So in a sense that is what I did - I traded up. I wasn't willing to pay $100 for a jersey, but with my gift card I got about 25% off from regular price of the jersey and paid the difference. I'm elated that my first 49ers jersey was purchased at a discounted price. So my birthday transaction started from my cousin purchasing me a pair of Lunarglide+ 5 that he got from the Livermore outlet to the Jerry Rice jersey. This is similar to when the 49ers traded Alex Smith to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for two 2nd round draft picks. Those two 2nd round draft picks then resulted in five players. So the 49ers in a sense traded one player for five players. That's one hell of a trade value. In my case I traded the Lunarglide+ 5 pair for a Lunarglide+ 4 pair. Then I traded that pair for a Prestige IV pair that resulted in a refund that was funded in a Nike gift card. Then I "traded up" to get the Jerry Rice jersey. The whole birthday gift exchange resulted in a 2-for-1 deal as I ended up getting a pair or Prestige IV and a Jerry Rice jersey. Overall this factory store location is much better than the Livermore location because there are more shoes and apparel. I'm very happy that for my birthday I got two items I didn't expect to get. read more

Yes, I shall declare it... I am a NIKE whore. I go to the gym with my matching outfit and my downfall at any Nike spots... caps! Yes, I can't resist buying their caps! I don't know how many dri fit caps I have and they're either black or white! Walking in here -- I always have to get myself in check, literally. Wants vs needs. Check. I see something cute... "do I really need it or I just want it?" It's not cheap... some of them are still pricey that's why I do my elimination before the check out. Even their clearance rack can be pricey! The only downside: not their fault probably mine... I rarely get any XS/S stuff. They're filled with size L and XL! Their staff, it's a hit and miss. Some are friendly - some you just don't want to mess with. Always a battle but at the end of the day... I always seem to leave this place with a bag! Like their tagline: JUST DO IT! I buy two pairs of shoes here for running every month and they stock just about every size you need if they don't have it they will check other locations and will send it to your house if you want the people on the sales floor have always been hella nice but when u go to the counter sometimes you will get a rude person who doesn't want to be at work and when I'm dropping 160 on a pair of shoes I hope to get treated hella good being how those pair of shoes I buy cost more then your getting paid all week so other then that this store has been pretty good to me!!! Big fan of the Nike Factory Store in Great Mall! I have never been one of those crazy shoe fanatics who needs to get the latest and greatest shoes as they come out. Because of this, I have absolutely no problem going to the Nike Factory Store to pick up my next pair of kicks that I need. I am a big fan of Nike Free Run's so that is typically what I go to the factory outlet store for. They have a pretty decent selection of running, walking, soccer, golf, and basketball shoes available. They are definitely cheaper than the normal Nike retail stores, because the shoes tend to be some of their "outdated" models. But I don't really care. As long as they look cool, and are comfortable, it's all good with me! I also like getting the cheaper Nike shirts, shorts, and socks (they actually sell the nice Elite basketball socks now too) from this location. They always have 2 for $20 t-shirt deals, and there is always a super clearance section of golf polos, as well as other t-shirts. Recently, they also sold quite a bit of World Cup soccer gear, including jerseys and track jackets for team USA and Brasil. So that was pretty cool too. Anyway, I always check for athletic gear here first before going to any other store to buy Nike items. You should do the same. Save yourself a few bucks; you'll thank me later!! read more

YES! The best place to come if you're a Nike addict, need new kicks, or need some workout gear. Came here for some workout gear. I'd been noticing that I need workout clothes that will wick away my sweat so I don't feel as icky. I love the Nike dry fit stuff. They have lower prices on all the Nike gear. I got a new pair of shorts, workout jersey, and socks for a decent price. After using the clothes I say they're great! Really helped keep my body dry and not constricted at all. I definitely recommend Nike products. The store is HUGE with all sorts of items and good clearance section. read more

Terrible! Great Mall Milpitas on 3/5/23 between 430- 5pm. I witnessed a mail customer throw a football and hit older customer. The employees saw the incident and did nothing. That was an assault customer versus customer.Pull video and watch incident. I feel unsafe in this store. The employees did nothing to assist the victim, instead help the aggressor. One of the stores I think is decent at the Great Mall. The bf loves this store cause of the deals. I went here because I picked a card off the Giving Tree and my person was a 15 year old male who wanted "anything" and the limit was around $30. The new Pegasus looks like they're trying to copy under armour smh. their styles last year were good. I came here today and the customer service was really bad. I was looking for a certain shoe size and they didn't even bother looking for that shoe size they just told me right away that they didn't have it. A few moments later I find the shoe size they told me they didn't have. I also asked if they had a certain type of shoe and the lady just walked away slowly and never looked for the shoe. This type of customer service is certainly unacceptable. Therefore the worker at the cashier was very nice and helpful. I was in town to watch the Niners play and swung by to see what Nike had to offer on Saturday. To my surprise they had the red Nike vapor max there for a great price. When I went to the register the Associate checked the sizes on the shoes and the left shoe was an 8 and the right shoe was an 8.5. I really needed the 8 so the Associate asked for help from another Associate that was on the floor to help assist. I explained to her that I really wanted these shoes so that I could wear them to the game on Sunday. She understood the assignment as she too is a Niner fan. The Associate asked her manager for some help and he went to search for the other mis matched shoe also and got help from another Associate. Finally, they were able to locate the mis matched shoe and I was able to purchase them to wear to the Niners game.
