I've always been a fan of this brand but I didn't know the Great Mall had it's own stand alone store. Weeks ago I was at the Gilroy outlet and bough shoes and some handbags. One pair of shoes wasn't there so they ordered it and sent it to my house. Once I got the shoes, I wasn't happy with them and so I went to this Milpitas store to return. The store manager, Rogelio, assisted me and went out of his way to return them even though they were apparently final sale. I was unaware of that but he provided exceptional customer service. I would highly recommend this store for fashionable and affordable shoes and handbags! Need some work shoes that still look cute? They have them. Need a cute pair of heels for a hot date? They have them! They have men's shoes also for casual/dress. The staff are amazing and the store is very clean. Excellent service and great prices. I was looking for pair of boots and happen to past by Steve Madden. Just like the usual, I'll go in look around and if I need to find a size that's not there, I'll let one of the associate know. Very typical. It was very ordinary for the first 5 minutes yesterday until Rogelio greeted me and made me feel welcome and comfortable. I can just tell immediately when someone who's the working because they have to or when they're dedicated. In this case, I can see that he's very dedicated. It makes a huge different. Rogelio showed me around and let me know their current deals and promotions. I found a pair that i really like but I wasn't sure if it looks good on me when I tried it on. Rogelio gave me some good pointers and I felt confident buying the pair of shoes. He also made sure that I was satisfied with my experience. I've to this store many times and think this is the first time that I get the impression that I'm welcome and valued. I'm very happy and satisfied. Big thumbs up for Mary J. who helped me out today. I came in looking for some new heels and found a great pair that was on sale. The first associate who helped me told me there was only one size 6 and that it was the floor model. She didn't bother to look. Her answer right away was all we have left is all we have left. When I went to pay I asked Mary who rang me up if she could double check. She then typed something in the computer and then said looks like we have another one. She then left for a couple minutes and came back with a brand new pair from the back. :) Was so happy she could've gave me a default answer, but instead took the time to double check for me. This place never disappoints when it comes to choosing shoes for any type of style! I am writing this review to acknowledge one of the staff member who did a phenomenal job in customer service! Bri was amazing and very friendly and helpful! If it wasnt for her kindness, patience, going out of her way to help me, I wouldnt have bought anything. It just so happens the boots I wanted came on sale but didnt have my size but Bri was able to look in the back and call other stores. On top of that she said I can get it delivered! LOVE LOVE LOVE this location! And it just so happens that there are no reviews so... All of the service associates are so friendly and happy to help. The prices are really good and cheaper than Steve Madden shoes currently held in other stores for full price. The store is so clean and well kept even on weekends. The best part is the 22% student discount! I got a pair of Jukeboxx (looks just like Jilly) heels for $59 while at Macys and stevemadden.com they are $109. This is my new go-to shoe store. I was able to exchange my shoes for a different size with no problem and the transaction was fast and easy. Rogelio helped so much with the process and I was able to purchase a bunch of gifts for family members when I came back in. The gift sets are so cute and at the time, they were having a sale for buy-one-get-one half off on the majority of the store (last week 12/10/2020). I had a horrible experience today. The store manager and an associate were very rude to me today. I was there to do some shopping for shoes there. I asked to get a pair of different sizes of shoes for me. The associate after a lot of time got the wrong pair of shoes. I was a little angry and i think as a customer i can be. The guy went back , got the correct pair of shoes and threw the shoes in front of me and said you do not need to be rude for such a small thing. When we complained this to the manager , she was even ruder and was fighting with us and said go do whatever complaint you want. Guys name was Jacob, store manager is Denise. Disappointed. I purchased a pair of shoes, but they did not have my size. I paid an additional fee to get them shipped. The box was a mess and to my surprise, I received one heel a size 6.5 and the second a 7? Two different sizes?!!!!!!!! Ugh. Good job! Box was shipped from this store. Came here a few weeks ago with one of my friends, we were greeted when we walked in and was told there was a sale on the sandals. Looked around, nothing caught my attention but my friend found a pair she liked. The girl who greeted us helped us out, and just to double check, we asked her if the sale applied to the sandals my friend chose, she validated they did. When we went to go pay for them, it came out to full price. We told the cashier that they were supposed to be on sale, but she said they weren't and asked my friend if she still wanted them. When my friend said she didn't, the cashier copped an attitude and said she already completed the transaction and "can't undo it," and if she wanted a refund she would have to wait for it to be sent to her by mail. At that point we just wanted to get out of there. My friend only had a $100 bill, when she handed it over to the cashier, she said "oh yeah, we wouldn't have had enough to give you back, so they were gonna have to be full price anyway." WHAT? Don't get me wrong, although sales are always good.. paying full price is never an issue. It's the fact that the workers here don't really have a clue as to what they're doing and give you attitude for it lol. I know it's retail and it's not fun, but customer service is everything regardless of where you're working, but I guess it's not that important at this location. Besides, there's not much of a selection here anyway, unless you need something at the last minute that's somewhat decent.. otherwise, go spend your money somewhere else. read more

My kids and I made a last minute trip to the mall. We walked in to Steve Madden around 8:55 pm (5 minutes before closing), not expecting to have enough time to look around. I went in looking for a new pair of gold sandals. Within 1-2 minutes of being there, store manager, Cresh asked if I needed help finding a size. I gave her my size and asked her to check on 2 pairs of sandals for me.The fact that it was so late and Cresh was NOT rushing me out of the store made the experience a memorable one for me. i buy the bulk of my wardrobe online because I absolutely cannot stand rude customer service. I want to give 1 star ONLY for the manager. She was but ride and she didn't respond properly. I asked her to check whether they have shoe in 12 sizes and without check-in she immediately said no we don't. Worst location EVER!! My mom and I walked in on Sunday afternoon, the store and mall was pretty busy. We were looking at some shoes and had a couple questions, my mom tried to get the girls attention at the register, keep in mind there was 4 girl employees just sitting there talking!?!?! Hello you have customers. On top of that one of the girls came over and answered us real short and walked away.. Than continued her conversation at the register.
