The Fix Kicks - Where the Sneaker Game Feels Like Home I still remember the first time I stepped into The Fix Kicks in Santa Clara it was like walking into sneaker heaven. I opened that door and boom instant chills. I was surrounded by walls full of heat: Jordan 1s, Yeezys, Dunks, pairs I'd only ever seen on Instagram. Then I turned the corner and saw the Funko Pop wall, and I swear, it felt like I was in the middle of a dream. But here's where the story gets even better. It wasn't just the shoes or the collectibles it was the energy. The vibes. The people behind the counter weren't just employees they were sneakerheads like me. They greeted me like I'd been coming there for years, asked me what I was into, chopped it up with me like we were homies. From that very first visit, I knew this wasn't your average shop. This was family. Since then, I've bought kicks, sold pairs, and each time I leave, I walk out with a smile. Not just because of the shoes but because of how I was treated. They take care of you at The Fix Kicks. They're real ones. Fair prices, honest deals, no funny business just a team that truly loves what they do and puts their heart into every interaction. It's rare to find a spot like this. They've created more than just a store they've built a community. A place where sneaker culture is alive, respected, and celebrated. So if no one's told y'all yet: Fix Kicks, I'm giving you your flowers today. Thank you for the good vibes, the unforgettable experiences, and for always holding it down for sneaker lovers like me. Much love to the whole team y'all are legends. read more

Workers are nice and chill. As a customer who bought many overpriced sneakers from them they never gave me any chance for negotiating a price down on an item I was interested in not even down $10 at least. They are usually firm with prices. Another thing that is a downside of this place is selling your things to them they will lowball the hell out of you and resell it 2x higher than what they ask from you. So I advise you not to sell to them either. Honestly if you wanna buy or sell sneakers I prefer a better sneaker shop 3 miles away from this place which is called Sole Priority. read more

The owners and staff are nice and welcoming. The store is big for a sneaker store and they also sale clothes for all the hype beasts out there. They have a good selection of shoes both new and used. Only downsides is when you try to sale shoes they're offers are lower than what you think is fair or what other shoe stores would offer you, they don't offer more much more if you're interested in trading in for credit. They do have there $100 and under sales that have some good value, but for the most part all shoes are priced over market by a decent amount. read more

Shoe game is not doing so well and the fix kicks prices aren't helping either. Employee was more annoying than a telemarketer.

Kevin and Alex has always taken care of me when visiting the store! They have the best selection and service. Also, the process to sell shoes is seamless. Thanks guys and see you again soon! read more

Place is cool and nice, staff are welcoming at first but when trying to sell. They try to scam you hard to the point you have more chance of getting the homeless man outside to buy your stuff for a higher price. Place is cool if your looking for something but 2-3 times over market of resell. If you don't care about price tag and try to get it immediately then go here. If your trying to sell never come here, sell it to the homeless man outside :) read more

Went to get my bonus baby a Christmas gift. They had what she wanted. Everyone else was sold out. Friendly staff, clean store, a nice variety of my favorite Nikes and Jordan. read more

Got my shoes appraised recently. They've quoted the price for sell but never gave me a store credit option. I decided to cop sneakers from their case option but decided to keep the same price as sell but other stores have store credit as higher. RIP OFF. DISHONEST OWNER. SCAM ALERT THEY ALSO RATED DS shoes as used. SMH read more

Shoes galore & if your into funko pops they got you covered. Went in to sell Sum of my son shoes. The guys there are very nice. For me I had my eyes on The Chucky glow in the dark funko pop. So if you need to sell your sneakers This is the place to go.I suggest before going do you diligence and search for Price. Also check the conditions of the shoes they offer is what is expected . So check this place out. read more

I called to check and see if they had a certain shoe in my size because I wanted to do a size swap for the amount of $20 which is list on their website. There's no more information stating that they stop doing size swaps if they have too many sizes etc. so I was a little frustrated when the guy got back on the phone from placing me on hold to tell me he couldn't do the size swap. We stopped by the store but they do not shoes in the store for you to look at. You have to check their website or call ahead and see if they have what you're looking for. Prices are pretty high and tax is too. But if you want the shoe I'm sure that won't matter lol. read more

Nice people and great selection. The problem arises when you try to sell shoes. You will be given low ball offers, actually these guys are the kings of low balling and they don't give more for store credit which other stores do. On top of that, they only pay through paypal which takes a 3% fee from the seller when it should be the other way around. Would recommend coming here to buy shoes but don't sell to them. read more

excellent communication! I reached out to see if my package would be able to arrive at a time I needed it, they made my package a priority to send it out to me on time! read more

Worst place of business I've ever shopped at ordered and payed for pair of shoes and these clowns cancelled my order saying fraudulent and still haven't given my money back so not order from them they like to cancel your order for no good reason and not give your money back place is a joke!! read more

Went in to sell shoes, worker gave me a fair price for a pair and money was sent to my PayPal instantly upfront. Definitely would come back to sell again read more

definitely a spot to hit if you're a sneaker head in the bay area. the online inventory is always up to date with the in store sneakers selection, which means you know what they have before you arrive. the service was great. some shops got that we're too cool to be bothered vibe, this shop has none of that, they offer their assistance but aren't pushy, like i said their selections speak for themselves. the do "hunandun" (sale hundred and under) and ALWAYS have heat worth camping out for! read more

Dropped in on a Friday afternoon. This is the place to go if you want to pay 2x or 3x whatever the online sneakers sell for. To check prices you have to sell your soul, I mean check the sole, at which point you will be confused by 3-4 stickers with prices - pro tip: it's always the highest price. Don't waste your time. Cool selection of pops tho. read more

Cool ass spot, great deals. Tons of different pop figures, I'm happy someone showed me the place.

Be careful of counterfeits! The Fix is one of the few "resident" boutiques here in the SJ area for designer/retro kicks. After my experience, I would mainly use it to sell used J's or to preview shoes in-person before I buy from a reputable source, that verifies authenticity. This place is definitely a first-come, first-buy situation as they are very limited on size options. So common sizes sell fast, that's if they ever had them in stock. My strongest advice is to inspect the gear in detail, before you complete the transaction. Don't let that lust for "J's" cloud your judgement like me or feel pressure from staff to move the hell out of the way, so they can make that next sale. There are counterfeits everywhere, yes even here. I bought a pair of Jordan IV and V and the V's had a flaw straight out-of-the-box! There are NO refunds or Returns which I'm not even mad at The Fix, it makes sense bc there are too many hustlers out there that try to run stupid games. Issue: The sole became completely loose/separated in the middle after wearing them like six times...only to work. I have an office job. Out-of-the-box the upper portion of the sole separated from the leather around the toe of the shoe. It was only noticeable once I laced them up. There is some factory sewing/stitching but it's not enough to hold. What's so funny about it is that I didn't even notice the flaw, but one of my mini sneaker heads pointed it out to me, while I was wearing them. This leads me to acknowledge that just visually inspecting kicks is not practical, specifically when there is no guarantee of authenticity. it's best to lace them up and see how they look, feel and flex on your feet as well. BUT The Fix doesn't allow this...again another rule that makes sense bc you don't want to purchase a $250 and higher shoe that multiple people gave it a test drive. Also you will not have that option IF you purchase online. So beware and understand that you are buying at your own risk and The Fix doesn't really give a damn about issues after the purchase is complete. read more

I like the variety of shoes and also being able to sell your shoes to them too. However they are superr expensive! lol

Just hopped in there to pick up some sneakers and left with dope Yeezys at a proper price (~stockx) and nice staff. Unsure what the complaints are about. Will be back! read more

Lots of shoes and a ton of pops a plethora of them great store and convenient location

The employees of this store make the experience of buying or browsing horrible. When I walked in you can feel the tension of perhaps a future burglary will take place. As I would browse around the isles I could feel all the employees looking at my every move. After speaking with an employees for a brief moment I recognized that how business was ran at this store. Horrible pricing and horrible customer service. The selection was minimal and I felt like I could rather go online for a better experience. How does a company like this exist in 2023? read more

This place has the best prices for what you get same amazing products just up the road at the mall is more expensive took my grandson and he got the slides he wanted and we are all happy also felt very Covid safe as they had boy pet a few people in at a time everyone was really friendly to me and I'm an old lady. Great place!! read more

Fix Kicks is located next to the Sprouts in Santa Clara (the old Mervyns Plaza for my OG's lol) Definitely follow them on Instagram! They post frequently with stock updates and announce any deals. Including their famous "$100 or under sales" and you can usually find some great steals. So why only 3 stars? They definitely low ball you when you bring in shoes to sell..and that's even if you take store credit. Recently, they quoted me $200 (or $220 store credit) for a pair of Jordan XI's. They were selling the same pair for $349. At least be more reasonable! Other stores in SJ were offering $20-$30 more for the same pair. However, the shop is dope and if you're looking for some deals...they can be had! I'd definitely consider other quotes if you are looking to sell, but Fix Kicks is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. read more

If you buy shoes be sure to bring extra for tax. Even if you have the cash amount. I bought before but this was something new to me.

Great place to sell and buy funko pops, they've helped me multiple times throughout the years!

wouldn't really recommend you to come here if you're attempting to sell your shoes, you're better off on facebook, ebay, goat, or even stockx. they lowball you like crazy like the other reviews said, if you wanna sell, i'd recommend taking your business to sole supremacy in newark. that being said, although their prices are higher than most places, they pretty much have anything you're looking for, and their fear of god is reasonably priced. TLDR; don't sell here, only buy or size swap. read more

Came in to sell a pair of used Off-Whites that had only been worn a few times. Aside from some dirt on the toe box which would clean off in a jiffy, the shoes were mint. The two employees did their thing while I browsed -- out of the corner of my eye I saw one of them carelessly handling my shoes like they had already purchased them. I interrupted them and requested an offer. Then came the lowball of $275 -- keep in mind these guys are selling this pair for upwards of $600. "Because of the dirt here." Didn't even bother to haggle with these bozos. Went home, cleaned them up, and drove over to Sole Supremacy where they were much friendlier and offered $375 -- literally a hundred dollars more. No haggling or anything required either. If you want to support an honest business by/for local sneakerheads, take your business elsewhere. read more

HUGE shout out to Fix Kicks!!! There is nothing worse than stepping into a boutique and instantly feeling intimidated or sized up by the employees. Most places will treat you like dirt even though your spending thousands. Not at Fix Kicks! I had such a wonderful experience in their gorgeous and spacious store. I'm so thrilled one of my buddies told me about this boutique. You can definitely expect me to be back in. I drove out to pick up a pair of Yeezy 500 Bone Whites which they happily put on hold for me ( Most places will refuse to hold no matter how far you are coming) The employees were warm and welcoming, allowing me to browse without harassment and even allowed me to slip my foot into the shoes i was looking at to insure my foot fit correctly! This is the spot to be and the prices are fair. Thank you so much Fix Kicks! read more

Prices are way too high! They over price everything and low ball you when u sell your kicks! Cool kicks La is the best place too go! Or rif sf. read more

I follow them on Instagram and would see videos of their arcade game thing and thought it was cool. I finally came here with my boyfriend and brother because my brother wanted to size swap a pair of Jordan's. The parking was a bit hard, we had to park across the street at Starbucks and walk to the store, which isn't to bad. The store it self seemed small but they had a variety of shoes. The arcade game seemed to attract a lot of people especially when someone is playing. I had to drag my brother out so he wouldn't spend all his money on it. Overall not a bad place to go. The staff seemed pretty friendly and helpful. They were able to swap sizes for my brother for a fee but it didn't cost much. Which is ok. I recommend that any sneaker head stop by here, it's a whole different type of consignment/shoe store that I'm used to. read more

Best sneaker store in the San Jose Area! The team is professional, efficient and friendly. Attentive as soon as we walked in and made sure we felt comfortable to touch and look around as we pleased. We've been sneaker gurus since we could remember walking so walking into this establishment was pure nostalgia in the best form. They have a basketball court and graffiti everywhere. It's urban, but it's exactly what you expect from streetwear. The prices they quoted us on our shoes was exactly what we wanted. After going to Sole Supremacy for years and giving them business I'm saddened we JUST found you guys! WAYYYY BETTER SERVICE THAT SOLE SUPREMACY!!!!! And they don't make you feel like I gotta be dripped in designer to be spoken to. Thank you team for being on top of trends and prices. I will gladly resell, buy and trade with you ANY DAY!!!!! My Bay Area natives... hit these boys up!!!!! They got it.. and if they don't... they will ! read more

I am an avid Yeezy collector. Person was not helpful at all. They are rude. The person acted like they could not be borrowed. Some of them also appear fake. I was wearing a real one, and I could see the difference. I asked to try them on, and they said no. I want to make sure it fits. I was going to buy. So rude. Avoid. read more
