Workers are nice and chill. As a customer who bought many overpriced sneakers from them they never gave me any chance for negotiating a price down on an item I was interested in not even down $10 at least. They are usually firm with prices. Another thing that is a downside of this place is selling your things to them they will lowball the hell out of you and resell it 2x higher than what they ask from you. So I advise you not to sell to them either. Honestly if you wanna buy or sell sneakers I prefer a better sneaker shop 3 miles away from this place which is called Sole Priority. read more

The owners and staff are nice and welcoming. The store is big for a sneaker store and they also sale clothes for all the hype beasts out there. They have a good selection of shoes both new and used. Only downsides is when you try to sale shoes they're offers are lower than what you think is fair or what other shoe stores would offer you, they don't offer more much more if you're interested in trading in for credit. They do have there $100 and under sales that have some good value, but for the most part all shoes are priced over market by a decent amount. read more

Place is cool and nice, staff are welcoming at first but when trying to sell. They try to scam you hard to the point you have more chance of getting the homeless man outside to buy your stuff for a higher price. Place is cool if your looking for something but 2-3 times over market of resell. If you don't care about price tag and try to get it immediately then go here. Nice people and great selection. The problem arises when you try to sell shoes. You will be given low ball offers, actually these guys are the kings of low balling and they don't give more for store credit which other stores do. On top of that, they only pay through paypal which takes a 3% fee from the seller when it should be the other way around. Would recommend coming here to buy shoes but don't sell to them. read more

I called to check and see if they had a certain shoe in my size because I wanted to do a size swap for the amount of $20 which is list on their website. There's no more information stating that they stop doing size swaps if they have too many sizes etc. so I was a little frustrated when the guy got back on the phone from placing me on hold to tell me he couldn't do the size swap. We stopped by the store but they do not shoes in the store for you to look at. You have to check their website or call ahead and see if they have what you're looking for. Prices are pretty high and tax is too. But if you want the shoe I'm sure that won't matter lol. read more

To check prices you have to sell your soul, I mean check the sole, at which point you will be confused by 3-4 stickers with prices - pro tip: it's always the highest price. Don't waste your time. The employees of this store make the experience of buying or browsing horrible. When I walked in you can feel the tension of perhaps a future burglary will take place. As I would browse around the isles I could feel all the employees looking at my every move. After speaking with an employees for a brief moment I recognized that how business was ran at this store. Be careful of counterfeits! The Fix is one of the few "resident" boutiques here in the SJ area for designer/retro kicks. After my experience, I would mainly use it to sell used J's or to preview shoes in-person before I buy from a reputable source, that verifies authenticity. This place is definitely a first-come, first-buy situation as they are very limited on size options. So common sizes sell fast, that's if they ever had them in stock. My strongest advice is to inspect the gear in detail, before you complete the transaction. Don't let that lust for "J's" cloud your judgement like me or feel pressure from staff to move the hell out of the way, so they can make that next sale. There are counterfeits everywhere, yes even here. I bought a pair of Jordan IV and V and the V's had a flaw straight out-of-the-box! There are NO refunds or Returns which I'm not even mad at The Fix, it makes sense bc there are too many hustlers out there that try to run stupid games. Issue: The sole became completely loose/separated in the middle after wearing them like six times...only to work. I have an office job. Out-of-the-box the upper portion of the sole separated from the leather around the toe of the shoe. It was only noticeable once I laced them up. There is some factory sewing/stitching but it's not enough to hold. What's so funny about it is that I didn't even notice the flaw, but one of my mini sneaker heads pointed it out to me, while I was wearing them. This leads me to acknowledge that just visually inspecting kicks is not practical, specifically when there is no guarantee of authenticity. it's best to lace them up and see how they look, feel and flex on your feet as well. BUT The Fix doesn't allow this...again another rule that makes sense bc you don't want to purchase a $250 and higher shoe that multiple people gave it a test drive. Also you will not have that option IF you purchase online. So beware and understand that you are buying at your own risk and The Fix doesn't really give a damn about issues after the purchase is complete. read more

Fix Kicks is located next to the Sprouts in Santa Clara (the old Mervyns Plaza for my OG's lol) Definitely follow them on Instagram! They post frequently with stock updates and announce any deals. Including their famous "$100 or under sales" and you can usually find some great steals. So why only 3 stars? They definitely low ball you when you bring in shoes to sell..and that's even if you take store credit. Recently, they quoted me $200 (or $220 store credit) for a pair of Jordan XI's. They were selling the same pair for $349. At least be more reasonable! Other stores in SJ were offering $20-$30 more for the same pair. However, the shop is dope and if you're looking for some deals...they can be had! I'd definitely consider other quotes if you are looking to sell, but Fix Kicks is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. read more

Came in to sell a pair of used Off-Whites that had only been worn a few times. Aside from some dirt on the toe box which would clean off in a jiffy, the shoes were mint. The two employees did their thing while I browsed -- out of the corner of my eye I saw one of them carelessly handling my shoes like they had already purchased them. I interrupted them and requested an offer. Then came the lowball of $275 -- keep in mind these guys are selling this pair for upwards of $600. "Because of the dirt here." Didn't even bother to haggle with these bozos. Went home, cleaned them up, and drove over to Sole Supremacy where they were much friendlier and offered $375 -- literally a hundred dollars more. No haggling or anything required either. If you want to support an honest business by/for local sneakerheads, take your business elsewhere. read more

Most places will treat you like dirt even though your spending thousands. Not at Fix Kicks! I had such a wonderful experience in their gorgeous and spacious store. I follow them on Instagram and would see videos of their arcade game thing and thought it was cool. I finally came here with my boyfriend and brother because my brother wanted to size swap a pair of Jordan's. The parking was a bit hard, we had to park across the street at Starbucks and walk to the store, which isn't to bad. The store it self seemed small but they had a variety of shoes. The arcade game seemed to attract a lot of people especially when someone is playing. I had to drag my brother out so he wouldn't spend all his money on it. Overall not a bad place to go. The staff seemed pretty friendly and helpful. They were able to swap sizes for my brother for a fee but it didn't cost much. Which is ok.
