Granted that the store was completely dead but the immediate greeting was very appreciated. I told her what I was looking for and gave her a forewarning that I am deathly particular when it comes to buying shoes- I inspect EVERYTHING. She smiled and made her way to the back. I ordered ugg shoes and hoodie online and the hoodie was back ordered they did not bother to call or email regarding this issue I called them and they said I won't get the hoodie until after September 2022 and regarding the shoes they said they were delivered and they were not after speaking with Diana the supervisor she did she has no choice but to give me a gift card even though the previous rep said I can have a refund and I mentioned that the calls are recorded and she did say yea they are and refused to listen to the recording confirming that the rep told me that. I let her know I have small Children and my pg and E is 700 and at this point I need my money back. I told her if I had the shoes I would return them. She is putting me Through hoops. I shop with them all the time and I feel like they have horrible customer service I do not recommend anyone shop here ever. I came here because I spend a lot of money buying no-show socks and I inevitably a) lose them in the wash or b) somehow keep tripping over my socks because they keep slipping down. I read reviews that Journeys no show socks hold up well so I bought a pack. Dang these are expensive socks. 5 pairs for $15? I'm halfway to buying a decent pair of shoes at this point. I did try the socks on the same day and they were ok although I still had a hard time keeping them up in the beginning. This place don't deserve 4 star! Employee with the blonde hair was giving me so much attitude. I was trying to exchange my Arizona Eva White birken and she said "unfortunately it looks pretty worn" where's customer's satisfaction? Where's being helpful? I've worked in retail for 5 years and one of my pet peeve is when customers returned worn shoes/shirt. If I worn my birken obviously I won't returned it, that's embarrassing. Also another girl helped me, her name is kiana, and I'm assuming she's a supervisor. She handle the situation with full of attitude towards me. I'm not petty or anything, I haven't been in this mall for a long years and the work ethic of this company is not the standards we need for the holiday. Where is the Christmas spirit? When here on black friday and got a really good deal on a pair of shoes for my brother. My brother swears by DC shoes and apparently Journey is one of the very few places that I know that carries this brand. We got a really good deal on the purchase. It came out to be around $60 since they were having some sort of sales. I never purchased anything from this brand before until now, but anything that cost less than $80 dollars for a pair of shoes sounds great to me. Note: this pair probably will last my brother at least 3 years from now, at least that's how long his last pair of DCs lasted. As far as service goes they were really nice, fast and weren't into the whole "hey, do you like that let me ring you up NOW!" thing. They were patience enough to wait for my brother to finish browsing after trying on a few pairs of shoes until he made his decision and that is why they got our sale. read more

I came in to exchange shoes I bought in December 2016 that did not fit however I had lost the receipt. I felt lost out of $109.00 but when I inquired about a possible return with my bank statement I was told that I can get an exchange. I walked in today to get the exchange and the two young ladies had the best attitude ever and did not make my experience awkward nor uncomfortable. I was able to exchange my shoes to get my daughter and niece a pair of shoes and just paid the difference for the pair of sock I bought. Received excellent customer service from a few of the sales reps at this particular Journey's, even when I was indecisive about which pair of Sperry Top Sider's I wanted since they didn't have my size in men's, so they ordered them online and reassured me that if I didn't like them that I could return them and get my money back. Oh and getting the shoes shipped to my house in my size and style was no extra cost! I said deal and they talked me into getting socks to go with them as well! When I received the shoes in the mail, they fit and I loved them but realized I needed to return them and wait to buy them sometime in the future. When I returned them, this young man, Jared, was the only one working at the time and he delivered exceptional customer service! Not only did he make me feel a little better about my reason for returning by adding, "Oh, I do that all the time ha ha" and he also complimented me on my watch! He was a great guy to converse with and will definitely go back when I decide to get some vans or sperrys or converse :) read more
