Nike Manoa. Sure, you can order them online but I wanted them right now, not later! I searched 5-6 stores, in multiple locations and none of them had them in stock. I had never heard of Finish Line but I called them, Eric said they had them in stock, so I headed in. As I was waiting, I looked for my shoe on the display wall and Eric confirmed they aren't on display. I bought two pair because I want one pair to look good and one pair I can work in. It's not a boot so don't even think about showing up on a union job site and expect to get by the safety guy. I think they look so cool! They have gnarly treads and with high tops, sandy beaches aren't an issue. The store was clean and Eric had everyone making it cleaner. I got the shortly after opening so I got in and out. On the afternoon of 9/29, I had a very disappointing experience at Finish Line. A tall Hispanic male supervisor (or the manager) assisting me during a return was extremely rude and unprofessional. He showed no courtesy toward customers, even chewing gum while handling my return. The process was unnecessarily delayed, and it felt intentional. Because of this poor customer service, I will no longer be shopping at this location. read more

They have a shit policy where you can only be given the left shoe to try on, even if you give them back the left and ask for the right. Most people's feet aren't exactly the same size and need to try on both to ensure the right fit. So word to the wise: buy the shoes, try on both, and return right away if it doesn't fit right. If they want more work, they can get more work. read more

Not the friendliest Finish Line location to visit and I was super bummed to hear the Eastridge FL is no longer in business. Like many of the other reviews written, I came here with a possible return or exchange and was immediately given the cold shoulder. Employee "helping" us was very short, unfriendly, and didn't seem very interested in assisting. The shoes were purchased online and came with one side super scuffed and with the bottoms already dirty. Dirty bottoms didn't bother me since the shoes were obviously tried on but shelling out $180 or so for heavily scuffed shoes in a bluish tint [while the shoes are strictly white and black] was not okay. Save yourself the headaches and refrain from purchasing online and purchasing anything at this very location. 1 star because another associate actually mustered up a "goodbye" as we walked out. read more

I was on the hunt for air max 90s, and I stumbled on some Jordan 1 Mids. I had a gift card I received in the mail from the finish line for a canceled order. The associate was ringing me up, and everything was going as usual until the gift card came back as an error. The associate and I began to troubleshoot for about 15mins with no results. The manager, I believe named Herlinda, came to our assistance and contacted customer support for me. I was surprised that she would even call customer support on my behalf. I expected that I would be turned away and told to call finish line customer support on my own. The customer support agent, the manager, and I worked for about 45 mins on the phone to resolve the situation. The customer support agent concluded that the gift card was not activated and needed to send a replacement gift card. Unfortunately, I couldn't use the unactivated gift card, and I would have to wait for a replacement. Despite not being able to use the gift card and being in the store for over an hour, it wasn't too bad. The level of customer service that Herlinda and her team provided for me was going above and beyond. Despite it not being their fault, they still apologized and sympathized with my plight. They even advocated for me to get the gift card quicker. If not for them, I would have to call customer support on my own time and navigate their system. Came here during a hunt for new running shoes. They had a pretty big selection of both women's and children's which took up the entire left section of the store, with the men's shoes making up the other wall. They carry a variety of brands including the big ones like Nike, Adidas, and New Balance. A lot of stuff was in sales categories or had red stickers that advertised their sale prices. As someone who straddles both the women's and youth's sizes I was able to find the same styles in both categories. When I finally picked out a pair that I wanted to try on, I had some difficulty finding an employee to help me grab a size from the back. There only seemed to be 2 people working that day and one was on cash while the other was the runner. I did finally make contact with the guy and he was pretty quick with the shoes. It turns out that they didn't have any of the pair in my size. I didn't wind up getting anything on this visit but The Finish Line does seem like a good option for discounted shoes. read more

I've worked retail for sometime. I still work retail while also having a professional job that requires you to tend to other people besides yourself and your coworkers. I walked in with my mom today and these three guys were chilling by the registers just talking. Nobody greeted or asked if we were looking for anything specific. I just find this odd because no one was in the front either, if someone decided to come in and steal anything. There was NO customer service. They lucked out because my mom was looking to buy up some nice shoes today. I mentioned to her that when I worked at a shoe store in the mall, head up at all times and to service your customer. It's a big deal. And if you didn't do it they would harass you on the mic till you did. I hope someone reads this because a simple hi can change everything. Don't come in here. You're better off at a footlocker, champs, even the neighboring footwear stores. I was so put off because they were looking at the people walking but whatever they were talking about was SO much important than making sales or even PRETENDING like they were busy. If the rating can go negative, I'll give them negative. I bought 3 pairs of shoes online, one of them was really uncomfortable. I tried to return it in this store, the staff gave us a terrible attitude. They refused to return because I tried one shoe on!!! The soles were white, according to them, the right shoe had some "evidence" of "worn". Who the hell wears one shoe?! Honestly, I don't remember if the right shoe was shipped to me like this. Harharhar... Of all the sports stores we browsed through, Finish Line had the best customer service. I love shopping with a dab of education on what I'm trying to purchase. Alicia put her training to work, informing me about what makes a running shoe and how to choose the best cushioning to fit my feet. I learned about feet that over and under pronate and the benefits of a thin and thick soul. Alicia didn't hesitate to work with me for one second even after sending her in and out of the stock room nearly 3 or 4 times. Sadly, I did not purchase shoes here... but I got something better.... Ordered a pair of Brooks running shoes. Received an email that they had received my order. Next day an email said shoes had been shipped. 5 days later I received an email saying that they had to cancel my order and if I had any questions I could call. So I took the time to call and was given the bogus reason that they were out of stock! It took them 5 days to figure that out after originally telling me they had the shoes...and no they couldn't replace the order with a different color. Friendly staff. They're your typical high school / college freshman friends (the cool ones) serving you. Greeted and was assisted immediately. They gave me my space while I was trying out shoes, and checked on me at the appropriate time. The short black lady at the register was helpful when I asked to try on A's hats. Although she handed me an Angels cap, she gave me the stack, so I can conveniently search for myself. Overall, good customer service. The store has your typical and current popular shoes, but don't expect to find limited editions. Leave that to real boutique shops. read more

First one in store is here to return. Negative energy is gonna flowing around in my store now" I didn't say anything and laughed along with his joke... Then he asked the phone number to put in their system. I gave him and asked what this is for. ( in a nicely tone ). Beware of returns! I came to this store Wednesday (2/1) looking to return 2 pairs of shoes I purchased online. After five minutes of not being greeted by any of the sales associates (who were standing around not helping anyone by the way) I approached the cash register waiting to be helped. Finally a sales associate ("manager" I learned later) came to the register to assist me. As he starts "inspecting" my shoes (oatmeal colored Roshes) for return, he tells me one of the pairs I'm trying to get refunded looks "used." I ask him why and he proceeds to show me the bottom left sole which apparently had dirt. Mind you, the right shoe was completely white & free of any dirt with 0 signs of use. I asked him why I would only wear one shoe & how these shoes can show sign of wear if only ONE of them is "dirty." He then refuses to refund that pair. Fine, I still had 1 pair of shoes that needed to be returned. Apparently those shoes met his criteria of being worn or not so as he's processing the return, I casually start talking to my friend about how the Yelp reviews were right and I should have been warned about doing returns here, I then jokingly told her, "Yep, I only wore that one shoe out in public and not the other." The sales associate begins to listen in on our conversation, stops the transaction, and tells me I'm being SMART with him. Excuse me??? When I tell him he should be refunding my shoes and not listening to my conversation he tells me doesn't have to do anything and has the right to refuse service to me (which I'm pretty sure is illegal since he has zero grounds & technically I could complain that I was refused service because I am a young woman) When I explain that I'm the customer, he told me he didn't care and he refused to process the refund. I asked for the manager & he claimed that he was it. When I asked for his name to tell the district manager about this incident, he REFUSED! I took my shoes & left the store, I called Finish Line customer service and learned that this store managers name was "Alex." I was assured that the district manager would be giving me a call the following day (It's been 2 days & I haven't been able to report this incident). So now I have to mail back my shoes & wait for my refund to process (which could take weeks) instead of having my returns be done the night I was at the mall. I've never been so disrespected by a sales associate in my life. As someone who has worked in retail I wouldn't dream of speaking to someone the way "Alex" spoke to me. First, don't listen to my conversation if it isn't directed AT YOU. Second, don't threaten to refuse my service because you don't like my "tone," especially since I didn't raise my voice or make a scene, he did that. Do your job and put your personal feelings aside. i first have to give a little background before i explain why i gave this store 5 stars. so i order the jordan package on finishline.com (horrible decision!) and i see the amount pending on my bank account, so i assume that it had to be in the process of going through. a couple days pass by and i havent received a confirmation letter so i call the customer service line to see what the hold up was. she explains to me that they dont have any in stock and that they are finding another store in the U.S. that can ship it to the finishline wherehouse, and then the wherehouse will ship it to me. problem #1- why would you sell a product you don't already have in stock? i was told that finishline.com doesn't even carry physical inventory, that they just take whatever leftover shoes arent sold in the stores. stupid!! so she tells me to wait a couple days while they find a store to provide my size for me. so i'm crazy and i wanted these shoes REALLY BAD and went to newpark cuz its close to my house and i ask a worker for a listing of all the stores throughout the U.S. that carry my size. the list i got had well over 30 stores that had it. and i'm thinking to myself...okay if i can see that there are this many stores with it in stock, finishline.com HAS to send it to me. problem #2- i get a cancellation email saying they can't find my size anywhere. i called the customer service line and explain to them that i had a list in my hand of over 30 stores that had it. she tells me she can't do anything about that and it still shows up as unavailable in their system. BS!!! problem #3- i call a few of the stores on the list MYSELF and see if i can just get it shipped directly to my house. they all say they DONT do phone orders. WTH? also, they told me that they are not allowed to ship shoes to any stores outside of their district. so anyway, i go to finish line at the great mall and explain my story to one of the guys there who turns out to be the manager. i asked him nicely if he could, in any way, help get them. mind you, this is ONE DAY before christmas eve so i can imagine the insane amount of annoyance i must have caused him! so he takes the list from me and calls a store in washington, and he asks the manager at the store to pull this one favor for him- to UPS over my size to the milpitas store. then the manager tells me that he shouldn't be doing this because they usually don't ship to other finish line stores, but that he kinda sorta knew the manager in washington so he asked him to do the favor. he told me i should be thankful that the manager in washington even agreed to ship it over. and thankful i am because i got them 2 weeks later! LOOOOOOOOOOONG story short: this particular finish has EXCELLENT customer service. the manager was very helpful, even during crazy holiday hours! read more

So, as an update, In July I FINALLY received a check for the refund, but it was the exact amount of the shoes. They kept the amount I paid for tax! Who does that? While I know that it isnt this particular stores fault for this mistake, they are all run by corporate. It was only a few dollars, but I called to give em hell again.
