This was our first time coming to this mall. Farther than we usually drive to go to a mall. But we made an online order and it was ready to be picked up at this old navy location. Plus we had 2 items to return. We checked closing time online beforehand. Closes at 6pm. We arrive at the store at 5:40pm, the doors are closed with a small opening - we walk in and an employee says "oh we're closed". We said we just had a pickup order and a return and she replied: "we closed at 5:30 today and we already emptied our tills and all the machines are off" (meanwhile there was one customer at the register still being helped) my husband asked if they'd be able to help us out and she again repeated that they've turned off everything so they can't... They closed at 5:30pm... Even their store hours posted outside for this exact NYE date said they'd close at 6pm. There was another woman there at the same time as us trying to get into the store and they wouldn't let her in and the manager "Josh" told her they were closed. She was very upset and said this was not the first time they've closed early at this location. I'd understand if for some reason only 1 employee were closing and they had some sort of family emergency or something and closed early and left a sign outside stating a reason for early closure...But having 4 visible employees standing around and closing 30 mins early is ridiculous. As we were walking out of the mall - with a few minutes til closing...other stores were open. I saw a guy walk by the nike store and asked the employee by the door if they were open and he said yeah there's still 3 minutes (because it was 5:57pm). Meanwhile the old navy chose to keep their doors open and turn customers away at 5:30pm. Probably kept their doors open to abide by the malls rules. read more

This store always Closes earlier than what is posted in the window and website. The Manager on duty "Josh" has turned us away, even though we still had 14 mins to closing time posted and we knew the exact items we needed. This has happened more than a couple times for us. We only go to the mall a few times a year & this has been such an inconvenience. They are suppose to represent Gap inc but I know this is not how Gap treats their customers. It safe to safe we no longer shop here. We make the 20 mi trek to Valley Fair or Westgate. Find better employees that want to actually work their entire store hours and fulfill the goal is to make money for their store so they can work more. read more

My wife and I drove 30+ minutes to this Old Navy for a online pickup and return. The employees and manager (Josh) informed us the store is closed already from 5:30pm even though the sign said 6pm. Time was only 5:40pm when we entered. They refused to help us and kicked us out of the store and began to lock the gates. Despite other customers at the registers being helped and employees just standing around getting paid but refusing to help us. Unbelievable! This was by far one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. read more

I dont shop around much lately but when I do I check this store out once in a while. I was particularly looking for a blazer that would look nice and professional. I was looking around and found them behind the blouses and shirts and tried them on but it was too big. This somehow made me happy because a woman like me with a well-rounded personally is often discouraged when fitting clothes in shops where the sizes are just too damn unfitting. Well I still don't have a blazer so I roamed around trying to find someone who could help me. Do you know how hard it is to decipher if someone is a store clerk or not? And embarrassing asking random people if they work there or not?? Thankfully my first try wasn't a bust, she is actually a helpful store clerk who did her best to find me my blazer... she eventually found one after asking around and initially telling me they are out of stock, she looked for me and handed one that fits me well (not perfect because the sleeves are longer) but workable none the less. She is awesome...forgot to get her name but the universe knows who you are, you awesome you! In the end, I like coming here because I get to spend my old navy bucks and get the items on discount. I really love this location JOSH is Super Awesome and Rebecca too . Both Manager helped beyond expectation and apologized for a register error and had to Re-ring 1200 dollars worth of merchandise and gave me $20.00 worth of store coupons for my time and inconvenience. Both are very knowledgeable about the Barclays Old Navy Credit card. I also wanted to send a special shout out to Lead Employee Marissa who I was so impressed with and showed me the Best ever customer service experience EVER and the other Sales Associate Maria who helped ring me up. I came in a day earlier to use my coupons and was advised that I couldn't use it until the next day. Marissa pre rung about 6 bags to ensure each one amounted to 75 in order to use the coupons. She was patient (as I went back and fourth for items) knowledgeable in math ( when it came to totaling and deducting sale price items). I love her she is why I am writing this review and to Josh and Rebecca for my previous experience and for JOSH offering to assist me the next day to use my coupons. Like any outlet that has great deals, expect this place to be a H.A.M(Hot A** Mess)! I decided to pass by here after work to check out some deals. Apparently, I came at the right time! I picked up a couple pair of jeans for a little over $30. The customer service here was quick and helpful. The store was semi-neat when I walked in. I could have done more damage, but I needed to control myself. I'm still on a weight loss journey. This store is well stocked and usually clean. Depends when you go, if you go on the weekend when theres loads of people in the mall, then you might be waiting in line for a bit and there is always store employees folding and organizing clothes. I like that they try to maintain an organized clean store. The store itself is huge! It looks like it got rearranged in the set up and I like it. This isn't my first choice Old Navy because if I come to this Old Navy, it is usually cause I have other shopping to do. And its also a bit out of my way. It is however, a great store! This store is actually really close to the mall entrance across from Home Depot which is convenient if you're trying to get in and out. This store location is huge and has a wide selection of women, men, & kids. Most of the time the store is very organized and clean including their clearance but the weekends are rough. I try to come her during the week and the staff is super nice and friendly. The only reason I didn't give it a higher rating is because the lines are always long. I've been here countless times in the am, pm, mid week, weekend, etc and I have always had to wait in line. They seem to always only have 2-3 cashiers which makes no sense given the store is always busy. I do recommend this store to find a good deal and because of its location. read more

This ON is kind of cramped. The ceilings are super high and it seems like they have clothes going high up. The store itself is kind of messy and hard to get around. I have been in many old Navy stores here in the Bay area, and unfortunately I have to say that this one in Milpitas is one of the less organized...very messy, clothes on the floor all around, items misplaced...and just 3 cash registers opened with a long line, the result? I used a hook to help get down a shirt for my mom after she had spent several minutes looking for assistance to get down a size to no avail. My mom is disabled by the way, not that it matters but in case you were wondering why she couldnt use the hook herself. This employee yells, from across the store, "excuse me sir you are taking down our displays!" I yell back "well if someone helped my mom out I wouldnt have to do YOUR job. Im getting down a size for her" after i get the shirt and replace it with the same shirt in a different size (which i didnt have to do) i walk over to her and let her know in a very calm voice , because I did want to berate her for trying to embarrass me, "that was horrible customer service and very rude to yell across the store like that. Better customer service would have been coming up to us and asking us if we needed assistance." She gave me this annoyed face cuz she knew she was wrong and said OK. read more

I typically find the mens jeans really well organized, sometimes shorts require a little more digging. This Great Mall location had six cashiers working when I walked in on Saturday afternoon; this was a relief, because the line was so long that it went all the way to the back of the store. The store was very well-organized. The mix and match swimwear selection was excellent, with the full range of sizes available. They had outlet-exclusive sequin logo T-shirts in several colors for $7.47 each, also with the full range of sizes available. I asked a store associate if the 60% cotton, 40% modal T-shirts shrank much after washing and drying, and she said that from her personal experience, these shirts shrank one size. I used one of their "quick change" dressing rooms in the middle of the store, and it was clean with decent lighting. The canvas tote bags were $5.50 each. The store manager approached all the shoppers, greeted us, and asked us if we needed help finding anything. I was in line for about twenty minutes, and there were six cashiers the whole time, so the line moved along at a steady pace. My cashier thanked me for my patience and for shopping here. Old Navy is only good for a few things. I would not be caught dead in their jeans, shirts or outerwear BUT their underwear is something entirely different. First off this store was trashed, the staff were mediocre and the stock was less than desirable. I did find the underwear I love and was able to get it at their everyday low price of 2 for $10. The underwear is comfy and lasts for nearly a year. That's more than I can say for higher priced pairs of chonies. Keep them coming ON! read more

I've never been a big fan of outlets. Messy, poor selection of styles and sizes. You usually get some ugly crap. I understand it's hit or miss and sure they're stuff is cheap but do you need that shirt only available in lime green with pink stripes and size XXL? I love this store for the baby clothes selection, and for the great sales they seem to inevitable have when we go there. Last night it was up to 50% off baby clothes. My husband and I outfitted our daughter for probably the next six months with one trip to this store. What I particularly like about Old Navy is that, unlike the Children's Place, Gymboree, and Carters, they keep their items organized, so you can actually find what you are looking for. With this level of organization, we were able to keep this shopping trip pretty short (20 min), which is a help when you are shopping with a toddler. Or with me, who hates shopping and devotes as little time to it as possible. The final receipt says all - started out with a total of $128, and the sale brought it down to $78. Saving $50 is good in my book. read more

Love this store. Especially because of its vicinity in the Great Mall. It is more affordable then non "factory" stores in the area. The thing about being a factory store, though, is that you can't return the clothes online that you buy from the regular store. As usual, they have their small, cute "rooms" to try your clothes on inside. The "room" is literally 2 by 2 foot big. I bypassed the room because I didn't have anyone to "stand guard" the room, to make sure that no one accidentally opened the curtains. The fitting room was fine. The lady manning the fitting rooms was attentive, and there was no one inside. Keep in mind that the day was a Saturday. Probably slower flow of traffic because it was 1pm, around lunchtime for most people. Ended up getting the mid-rise, super skinny, medium wash for about $25. It was on sale. Also checked out the clearance section at the back of the store. Chose to buy a purple tee for about $20 Satisfied with my purchase, but kind of caught by surprise, when the guy at the cashier used a walkie- talkie looking thing to scan my card. He said that it was just more convenient. Nice guy. Didn't really care why, just curious. Like I said, love this store. Will come again. read more

I was given a gift card a year ago and it took me this long to find something to buy and use the thing up. Honestly, a gift card at this place is a lot of hassle when you have to find something you can actually use. The clothes at Old Navy are cut for the masses, which means that they are over-sized and shapeless. Since when did a woman's medium fit like a X-large? The clothing quality is cheap and falls apart easily or is already defective. I went to try on a pair of jeans and the zipper was stuck before I even got it off the hanger. At this particular location I had to step over countless items of clothing which were strewn all over the floor. After an hour of shopping and finding two items that would use up the 30$ on the gift card I had, I went to stand in a line that took 15 minutes (this is with 4 of the cash registers open mind you). Old Navy's are hard to find these days. This shop is big and theres plenty of sales! The sizes run a bit bigger, and the clothing tends to become lose after a few wears. But after washing they come back to the original size. The lines here get long on weekends, so be prepared to wait. read more

3 stars for this location of Old Navy because it was one of the first ones in the history of the company to open in 1997. I thought that they had a real novel idea with targeting Gap-styled clothing toward working-class, middle income families, and drawing them in with the blue Chevrolet truck and Magic the Dog. (Do they still use him?) Sadly, though, the quality of the stuff has seriously gone down since and it's pretty much crap. I only go to Old Navy for basics like belts, socks, and t-shirts. I go to this location because it is close to my home. Pure convenience. Today I asked if I could try something that was on a mannequin because my size wasn't on the rack. The clerk looked at me like she didn't know what I was talking about. I asked again. This time she said they could only take the clothes off the mannequin if the item was on sale. "Isn't everything in the store for sale?" I asked her. She said only the items on the rack were for sale. Really? I call it LAZY. What kind of customer service is that? This location is my least favorite. Messy. Not a ton of selection. The only thing going for it is that there is an ice cream store around the corner. Seriously? I saw there was a discount tag next to the sweater before I went to the fitting room, I was not so sure, so I asked that lady, if it is possible, can she help me check the price? she said, whatever marked on the tag is the final price. Then I asked her, so there will be no discount apply? She said, NO, firmly. I took the sweater to the cashier, and it turns out there was a discount. I'm glad I decided to check with their cashier. It's ok that if you're busy with something at that moment or you don't have way to check the price, but please don't treat your customer like that. read more

I should be giving them 1 rating but the cashier did a good job. I was at their store on Monday, 2/5/2018 at noon, it was not a busy day so I shopped with my sister and my niece. I have a Gap card so also used my rewards. I was disappointed because they did not honor my 10% discount for card member which they always do at Gap and Banana Republic. They had signs everywhere for buy 2 get 1 free shirts so I was pretty sure that I was getting the bargain. When I reached the register, I was surprised with the total price I was supposed to be paying, it was way up to what I expected so I found out that there were certain items that were not included for the sale. I was told that it was indicated at the sign well I said that it was not even readable, the letters were too small that was impossible for someone to read it.
