This particular Marshalls can be hit or miss and I only go here once in a while, but when I do, I sometimes find the best things. L O C A T I O N Marshalls is located at The Great Mall in Milpitas. The parking here is nuts. It's just hard to find parking during peak shopping days and it's also nearby a restaurant so you're also competing for spots with them. Just be patient or park in areas where there's less traffic and just walk inside the mall to get to Marshalls. Luckily I've been able to find something nearby. I N S I D E It's a fairly spacious Marshalls. Home good areas is on the outer edge with clothing for women and men in the central area. Shoes are closer to the mall area entrance side. Two areas to check out. One near the mall entrance and one near the parking lot entrance. S E L E C T I O N This is where it can be a hit or miss. They sometimes have Breville appliances. I've also seen Manduka yoga mats during the beginning of the year. What I do like is that everything feels much more organized than in previous years. They had all their spring dresses out which was kind of nice! I didn't have much time, but they did have a good variety. I was here to look at yoga mats and they did have a good amount to look at, just the type of yoga mat I want wasn't there. I'm a bit particular with the surface as I do sweat a lot. But the prices were reasonable with $30 being the highest price I saw. I recall when I did see Manduka mats here, they were roughly $50-80? Which yes, it's imperfect, but it's a steal just no warranty. S E R V I C E When I've had to purchase things over the years (it's been a while folks), lines generally go fairly quickly as they do have many registers open when they see the lines becoming long. O V E R A L L Marshalls is a fun place to shop if you have time to wander through the aisles and peruse. You'll sometimes find a fantastic deal for something you need or not ;) But be wary it does get really busy on the weekends, parking can be a headache as well as check out can take longer.

Great to see the 1st NorCal Milksha tea place open up. The Dave and Busters was very busy, now there's an indoor trampoline place where kids are having fun, and theres a Legoland Discovery place for little ones. It does warm my heart to see malls stage a comeback. So glad they dont charge for parking here, thats why we dont go to Valley Fair much anymore.

I like how this mall has so much variety in activities and stores - they also have Coldstone ice cream, old navy, Uniqlo, cinemark theaters, Asian stores, card stores (ygo, Pokémon, etc), Sephora for makeup, a good Indian food spot, Chipotle, jollibee, onigiri, escape room, and even a nonprofit cat store where you could pay a few hundred to adopt a cat!! Coming here at opening time is the best time in terms of easier traffic and parking navigation. Was even able to get parking under the covered parking structure so we got shade. When we came here at opening time and left by about 230pm, that offered great traffic and parking flow. Much less headache than other times.

There's lots of clothes and few workers on the floor to assist you for a price check or find a particular section of the store. Aisles and racks of clothes from known brands like Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger. The one thing was that the store had a horrible musky scent throughout the store, whether from the old age of the space or the carpet floor hasn't had a thorough cleaning in a while. Though check out had a long line, they have lots of staff overseeing the cash registers so it's fast and efficient.

I didn't like that fully grown adults were in line for Pokemon cards preventing kids from getting anything in addition to these adults were blocking pathways for shoppers. They told me that I would have to call and ask. So I contacted Target and was told that they would give me $10 towards a future purchase. That wouldn't be the sales price, I'd still be paying more. Walked in at 11am to see the store looking like it had been looted. The store manager didn't say a…read moreword to me (and I was the only one there) as she proceeded to text on her phone and slowly open up items and add them to a display. I'm shocked to see a retail store in this sorry state. Items thrown under displays, trash and grime on the floor and shelves, items carelessly thrown around, there's no love and care at all. But, that all makes sense given that the employees are verbally harassed, yelled at, and talked down to by upper upper management. If I was consistently made to feel like I wasn't good enough by my superiors, I wouldn't put any effort or love into my work either.
