Josh and the other employee are always so friendly, welcoming, and helpful every time we visit! They consistently go above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable and make us feel valued as customers. Whenever we come in, my kids get so excited when they see Josh and always run over to say hi. It really shows how genuine and kind he is. Those personal interactions mean a lot and are one of the reasons we love coming back. The store is also, by far, the cleanest location we visit. Everything is always well organized, stocked, and easy to find, which makes shopping so much more enjoyable. No matter when we stop by, the shelves are full and the store looks great. This store is very exciting to go to especially for kids. As soon as I walked in the workers greeted and it seemed they are restocking and getting ready for Halloween so they were stocking up. I was able to walk around and see what they had and they were all organized by home goods, toys, snacks, and more. The value seems decent for the store but was unsure on certain products which is more than $5. Visited this store for the first time and its really cool. Most of the items here are for $5 and below, although some items are above $5 but those are big bulky items. They had a lot of sections like toys, makeup, food, books, stationery. I picked up some cool stationery for my nephews and daughter. The stationery selection is really cool, which can be used to stuff stockings during Christmas or fill the goody bags for birthdays or other occasions. Located at Great Mall, right next to Dick's Sporting Goods (where BevMo used to be). Unfortunately, it's not connected to the mall so there's no entry inside the mall, it is its own location. If you've never been, it's like a cooler dollar store but think Big Lots for teens. You'll find everything from Hello Kitty, Hot Wheels, Pokémon gear, candy, soda, tech accessories, tees, and more mostly under $5, with some items up to $25. It's aimed at Gen Z, tweens, and young collectors... and yes, people like me who just love fun, random finds. Fair warning though: i've noticed that multiple occasions when visiting it a bit messy and disorganized. I get it especially if it's a weekend and they have a concentration of traffic coming in and out during the week. I observe cleanliness. It's still worth checking out. I've been listening to my sister yap on and on about Five Below for quite some time now and with me stumbling across the location @ the Great Mall, i just had to stop by. As you can confidently assume, Five Below offers their products at a price range of $5 and below. Easy enough right?? I, for one, am already a fan because other businesses promoting themselves with a dollar name and charging up to $5+ for certain items just doesn't do it for me. Anyhow, I walk into a very well lit store and a good amount of product on the sales floor. The establishment is roomy enough but a bit too roomy because it made the semi bare walls/shelves stand out. While there weren't a ton of items that caught my eye, I could definitely see some of these products being very popular. FB has an assortment of generic Stanley cups, a good assortment of party supplies, and have home goods that are sold at a fraction of the price you'd find elsewhere. 4 stars. This is a good place to shop if you want a good bang for your buck. The product is far from being legit quality but you get what you pay for. With the low pricetags, I wouldnt be against trying out random finds since you wouldn't be breaking the bank with these purchases. FYI: it doesnt look like there are any employees who actually ring you up here, there are a number of self check out stations situated along the wall as you head towards the exit. Honestly I hate this five below location the workers are always so rude the selection of things are terrible and it's genuinely a bad business. I do understand that the viral dumplings are hard to come by, but the workers have made it such a bad experience. They told us the day before after they sold out after 10 minutes that they were getting another shipment tomorrow at 9:30. So we show up at 9:10 and wait in line for 20 minutes. The workers were there and acknowledged that we were there and decided not to tell us anything until the doors opened at nine 30. She said "we don't have any dumplings I told you that already" to the whole line mind you she did not come out before that. And then said come back at 12 if you wanna try. Genuinely I understand if they don't have them but the workers are always in a bad mood and have a bad attitude the selection is always terrible at this location and I honestly think something else needs to happen because it's been so bad the last few months read more

Alright, folks, let's talk about this place. I'm really trying to think outside the box here, say something that TikTok and Instagram videos can't. First off, it's not a thirst trap. But you gotta watch the value of some items. I mean, I could buy some of this stuff on Temu, wait a bit, and save money. But I hate Temu, so there's that. Is this place a thirst trap? Nah. Is it like Costco where you come out with stuff you never planned to buy? Absolutely! It's the perfect spot to grow with a kid, though. I love buying birthday presents here. And shopping through the app is great too--it even tells you if it's in store, unlike some other box stores. If it's not in my store, I can have it shipped at no charge. How cool is that? A few years ago, my daughter bought some $5 headsets for calls and games, and they still work! So, I gotta give them some credit. Got curious with the ads I have been seeing in Facebook. As a first time customer, I was delighted on the variety of items I have seen. There was one staff that keep the store running and stayed upfront for most part, he was so accommodating with all my inquiries. Another staff was there for a minute then never saw her again. The evolution of the dollar store! With inflation it's getting more difficult to find a decent deal at the dollar tree or any other dollar type business. Here we had great selection and the quality was fantastic as well. We filled out cart and it didn't break the bank. The service was very good too. I'll definitely be back. read more

I came across 5 Below while walking towards Starbucks on the Home Depot side. I never knew it existed. I didn't know what they were selling until I first looked in. They are selling low priced items from $5 and below. The store is well lit and bright that you can see what's being sold down the aisle easily. Shelves are well organized with items you don't typically see in a Dollar store. Their merchandise is a blend between Daiso and a Dollar store but an American culture than Japanese which I frequent a lot and is trendy. One downside I found when I came in was after 2 minutes of breathing the air being fanned around, there was a smell which I reacted right away. It caused my inside to cramp and then it hit my stomach. I was burping a lot. Luckily, I had my fabric mask but it wasn't thick enough to block the air being fanned around. The rest of the customers in the store weren't effected like me. Carry a mask just in case you get an allergic reaction. It's a good store to shop for bargains. I drove 30 min without traffic because not only does google say this store was open until 11, the website says so and so does the holiday hour calendar hanging on the door. I got here at 10:15 and they are CLOSED! It pretty frustrating.. with gas and all...I figured it was open considering the supposed reliable sources stating open til 11. This new location just opened and I'm very glad they opened in Milpitas. It is very clean and has a wide variety of items from candy to cute plushies at a low price. There is no way to get in from inside the mall. It is located right next to Dick's Sporting Goods. Highly recommend anyone stop by if it is your first time coming. read more

I like this place but yesterday 3/4/2025 at 10:15am when me and my wife were checking out Buying chips with card ready no was at the checkout stand and was about to use the card checkout this asian man with glasses immediately i swear came so close to us and really watched if we were scanning only two items.I almost yelled at this idiot and almost said your too close and i do know how to use this machine .He mad us so uncomfortable and its not a good look for this store .He saw me with my card and ready to use the card machine and still went next to us .i mean really next To us omg!He should of stayed back and looked at us and if we needed help we ask .Also if he still wanted to check our receipt i would of showed it to him before we exited !He really needs to be retrained for better customer service because he really made us comfortable.The next time i go in there he better have learned! read more
