I love Home Goods. It's like one of my favorite stores. I can be here for hours if I wanted. Sometimes I grab something, take it on a walk, then put it back because we don't need another trinket. But for a brief moment, I owned it...in my arms, taking it on a walk.... L O C A T I O N This HomeGoods is located in the AMC Mercado Shopping area that shares a large parking area with various shops and restaurants. How this place has changed over the years! I'm sure folks still miss the MicroCenter that is now the WalMart. I N S I D E Goodness this place is large! But since it's a TJMaxx + HomeGoods, it has clothing too not just home....goods. I found the layout a little different than other Home Goods I've been to but for the most part, I was able to find the areas that I needed. I did do several laps which you know, if you're wanting some cardio and shopping, this is your place! I was able to find a good deal on some indoor/outdoor chair cushions. C H E C K O U T Like many HomeGoods, they have the line where you basically take your time since they're still selling you stuff and you can't help but still look at stuff while in line! I easily used my watch to tap to pay which was nice. O V E R A L L It's definitely a larger place which meant more furniture than I usually see at a HomeGoods. But it is a walk to get through everything. Every HomeGoods as well as TJ Maxx has their own stock so not every one has everything and sometimes one place has more deals than the other. I do appreciate this place having a lot of options. Everything was relatively organized well. Although I do live further from this one, it's not a bad spot to do some treasure hunting! Definitely check it out for yourself!

May have to be back for this comfy accent chair

Furniture shopping during the pandemic sucks. Everywhere you got you have months of lead time. Less than ideal, but that's the new normal with supply chain issues. I might not be able to find a bed or couch here, but they have an amazing selection of rugs, accent tables and chairs, plus a to of decorative items that will appease anyone from country chick to mid-century modern styles. I also love the multiple isles dedicated to the furry family members. I'm especially impressed with their hanging beds for the puppers. Will have to get one of my Oakley and report back on his satisfaction.

Home goods is a remainder store so they have random merchandise for your kitchen, bathroom, clothing, furniture and more. I like going here for browsing and often find things for bargain prices. This location is large and they do a good job keeping it clean and organized. I was a little surprised to see a staff member asking customers if they wanted to apply to work there on the way out. Covid has changed business and society in many ways.

I've been to this location once or twice before. It's a combination of both TJ Maxx and Home Goods in one store, so the Home Goods section is rather small in size and selection compared to the other locations at Brokaw, Cupertino, and Almaden. It's also not as neatly organized and welcoming as the other shops. Nonetheless, it's still a great place to find home decor ideas at a great price. One recent find is this super cute wood cutting board I absolutely love. Kitchen decor with functionality for $25. This is the medium size and now considering to also buy the smaller and larger variations. Lots of parking and convenient location in North San Jose with many other businesses/eateries in area.

Me and my wife have been coming to TJ Maxx/homegoods for over 20 years now but definitely my wife's favorite store we have bought in plenty of furniture, clothes and ect!!!! When you see something that you like you have to buy it right there and then because if you think you're gonna come back and find it it will be sold guaranteed. There are many different locations throughout California we've been to just about everyone of them (LOL) All the stars I've been to have been kept up nice and clean great management the only thing that I'm not big on is there credit card rewards and that's why I use capital one. Me and my wife are forever ATJ Maxx/home goods customer

A person can go crazy shopping here. Luckily my house has everything I want but we were shopping for my daughter's new apartment and she's the one that had to stock up. I found a wok style sauce pan that was priced really cheap and it was something that I actually needed for my kitchen.

While I was at Valley Fair, I decided to stop by Macy's and check out their Petite department…read more This is the department I usually shop in and over the last several years, Macy's has decided to have less and less items, making the petite section smaller than it's ever been. Today was no exception. There wasn't a whole lot of selections. The items they did have only had two colors to pick from whereas the other women's department selections are much greater with more variety of colors to pick from. I'm not sure why the Petite's department has shrunk and is limited on items available for purchase. The petite population in the Bay Area has not changed, so why is this happening? Luckily, Macys online has a much bigger selection of clothing for petite's. It's just nice to be able to go into the store and try things on before buying them. But since online is basically the only option for variety, then I will continue to purchase online. I did find a few items to try on, while I was there. Interestingly enough, the same items online were on sale with even a better discount than in the store. Not sure why the prices wouldn't be the same. All the more reason to shop online than in the store.

The Japanese brand wasn't protecting my face that I've seen spots on my cheeks. Lancome's UV Expert looks great in its packaging. The sales clerk was very helpful. After I made my purchase, she gave me a complimentary makeup inside a big pink Year of the Horse Lai-see (envelope). It's so pretty. It's fun to browse the cosmetic counters to see what to try on and new products being released. They always have a free thing to give away when you purchase a certain amount. The store is well lit and organized where you can find things easily. At the bottom floor, there's a dept called Backstage where you can find various items on sale.

My main reason for…read moregoing was to browse and admire the designer handbags, my current obsession, without buying anything. They have a really nice selection. I was able to see bags and charms from Coach, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Longchamp, and many more designers. I had admired some of the bags online and enjoyed seeing what they looked like in real life. The biggest surprise was Coach. I burned out on Coach purses over 10 years ago, but found some of their bags to be quite beautiful and well-made. I also saw some Tory Burch bags I really liked, and I'm not usually a fan. One sales associate offered to assist me and then kindly left me alone and let me browse. Spending time at Nordstrom was one of the highlights of my visit to the mall.

I am requesting management review of a checkout experience at this Nordstrom location…read more My partner and I were waiting in line at the register when an employee told us, along with another couple, that there was "no line" and directed us to move to the other side of the register. We complied immediately. After relocating and waiting as instructed, another customer was then allowed to cut ahead of us even though we had already been waiting, twice mind you. When I raised the issue in the moment, stating that we had been waiting first, the situation was not corrected and no adjustment was made to the order of service. The employee pretended to be surprised there was a line when he was the one who kicked us out in the first place. The result was inconsistent queue management that disproportionately affected multiple Asian customers who were waiting in line. Regardless of intent, the handling of the situation created a perception of unfair treatment and favoritism to Caucasian customers and was not addressed when brought to staff attention. I am sharing this feedback in hopes that management can review staff training and ensure consistent handling of checkout lines so customers are not redirected out of order or left waiting unfairly after following instructions.

I had walked over to the Sunnyvale Public Library with my son and stopped for a moment to wipe my brow when out of nowhere, one of the nose pads on my glasses completely broke off. These were an older pair of glasses I had recently rediscovered while cleaning, so I figured the parts had simply become worn down over time. At first, I thought I'd just grab a repair kit from Target after ChatGPT recommended their Up & Up eyeglass repair kit instead of going all the way to Walgreens. Unfortunately, the only kit I found didn't include the nose pad I needed. As I kept walking through the store hoping they might be stocked elsewhere, I stumbled upon the Target Optical department, complete with an eye doctor and full service optical counter. That's where I met Irish. Irish was absolutely wonderful. She patiently and diligently worked on my glasses, replaced BOTH nose pads, cleaned them thoroughly, tightened and tuned everything up, and honestly made this old pair feel practically brand new again. You know how over time those little parts get dirty, brittle, degraded, and loose? She took the time to carefully restore them instead of rushing me through. What really stood out was her attitude and customer service. She was warm, professional, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire interaction. Irish gave us her full attention and made us feel completely taken care of. Excellent service experiences deserve recognition, and Irish absolutely earned this review. Thank you again for the exemplary customer care!

There's a super big parking structure with plenty of parking (on the Friday evening that we went). Super impressive to see this Target from the outside with the escalator and the Bullseye dog statue at the bottom floor. Someone left a shoe box there and he's not the cleanest since he's scuffed, but still cute to look at. There's also an elevator and an escalators and even an escalator for your shopping carts too. Super large and well stocked Target. The Valentine's Day section wasn't ransacked even though it was Valentine's Day itself. Bouquets were cheap and looked really nice too. There's lots of self check out and cashiers, as well as a Starbucks too, pretty standard for most Targets. I found the newly released Monster energy drinks that I have been searching for for months. Not super cheap, but decent price and I'm just happy I found them. They also have a dedicated Disney section which I have never seen outside of the locations near the parks in SoCal, which is really neat. Solid Target location.
