I've rarely ever had trouble with Walmart or its employees. I've been in and out of many stores, including this one, and though I never expect anymore from a Walmart than what Walmart offers, I was astounded at one particular incident recently. An employee named DILIP(unsure of exact spelling?) (a middle aged Indian man) made me wait 20 minutes for his manager who he said would help with an issue he saw with my driver's license ID when I presented it at the time of purchase along with my credit card (the typical "may i please see your ID"). His manager came and asked him why he had an issue, and he said there was a minor CREASE at the side of my license. What the hell? I got the card several years ago, and yes over the years, a card will develop some wear and tear. It was in great condition, and a MINOR crease on the side that I've never noticed or that no one (including police, other stores, restaurants) has ever brought up was suddenly an issue. His manager looked at him wearily and said it seemed ok, but that she couldn't overturn an employee's decision due to standard procedure. So, I asked to be taken to another employee to make my purchase because by now, I had spent 40 min or so in line and talking to the manager and the obviously psychotic employee. I was refused. I then told the employee and the manager - and quite calmly as I understand that it's the holidays and no one wants to get worked up - that it's shows bad practice on the part of the employee/cashier to make a customer wait for a half hour by lying to the customer that the manager could actually change the decision made by the cashier. The cashier then erupted and said "you're stupid, you wasted my time." I suppose I'll let irony take it's own stand as a middle aged Walmart employee working the holiday season calls a customer "stupid" and accusing the customer of "wasting" his time - without customers, he wouldn't have a job. I'm writing this in hopes that a Walmart manager who is capable notices the attitude issues presented by DILIP and addresses them either by removing him or by giving him some advice on how to properly address a customer. Listen, we know it's Walmart. We're not asking to be treated like we're customers at country club. But, calling a customer stupid and telling the customer to "stop wasting his time" is very out of line. The customers waiting behind me were appalled and stared at him in shock while some asked me to report him to the manager immediately. This is ridiculous and DILIP needs to learn to act like a mature person rather than use words like "stupid." Then again, maybe he's mentally ill. read more

This store seriously deserves NO stars!! Every time I've been here, a large majority of the workers there cannot help me for crap or is too damn lazy to help. I've only experience good customer service from two people here- one old filipino lady and a young man who I don't see there anymore. The last time I was at the store I was looking for something and asked if they had it in the back because online said they had at least 5 in the store... instead of trying to check their system or even checking in the back (since I didn't see any on the shelves), they just told me that I WAS WRONG! WTF?! How the heck am I wrong when I got it off of your companies website?! It's not like I was there during stock count and counted it myself or made it up! I even showed the lady and she just sighed and was like "I guess I'll check the back" except she walked the OPPOSITE way, towards the front! uhhhh wrong way! Needless to say, she came back 10 minutes later saying they didn't have it (of course). And just now, I called the store to see if they had a different item I am looking for- I figured I would save my time this time, WRONG! I called and they put me on hold for almost 10 minutes without anyone even asking me anything and it would have been over 10 minutes if I didn't hang up. I called back hoping to get someone else that might actually be helpful. Instead, the lady that answered the first time answered again, great. I let her know I called and was put on hold and no one helped me, but before I even finished that sentence, she cuts me off and tells me the person that was "suppose to help" me was in the back and she was "busy"....... ARE YOU JOKING?! I asked her "soo because ONE person is busy NO ONE ELSE could help me??" she then proceeds to tell me "well the whole store is busy and no one could help you right now".... again, WTF?! I was so pissed at this point and told her that makes no sense and their store has horrible customer service and hung up. I can't believe no one was able to enter it into the computer to see if they had something in stock or not. It's not like I am asking you to put it on the side or buy it for me and personally deliver it. I hate this Walmart so much more than any Walmart I've ever been to!! SAVE YOUR BREATHE, TIME, AND ENERGY AND GO TO THE LIVERMORE LOCATION! read more

Walmart is for people who can't spell T-A-R-G-E-T I usually try to avoid this mean unethical evil behemoth of a company but my car battery was dead, it was a Saturday afternoon and Costco was just too far and too busy at the time and I needed a new battery right away. They told me they were busy so it would take anywhere from 60 to 75 minutes. I said OK because it would take longer going anywhere else and I could browse nearby Kohls and Borders books while I wait. After 75 minutes I returned to find my car still parked in the lot. After 90 minutes I got agitated with no progress and asked for an update. They told me it would take ANOTHER 30 minutes. I am now pissed so I told the clerk that if it is not ready in 30 minutes I refuse to pay. She almost fainted but called the brainiac manager who promised I would be next - which I was. The clerk [not the original one who checked me in] said it could never have taken 60 to 75 minutes when I checked in because there were 7 cars ahead of me. WHY DON'T THEY JUST TELL THE CUSTOMERS WHAT THE REAL DELAY WILL BE ??? OK, this is a rhetoric question because you would need a brain to do that. Other customers were also sitting there complaining. Walmart deserves all the criticism they receive. They really are an evil empire. I recommend seeing the movie "Walmart, the high cost of low prices" It is brilliant. read more

I hate Walmart stores in general and this one is no different. I was shopping online for a certain exercise equipment and Walmart had the best price so I decided to give it a try. I wanted to save the shipping cost so I "shipped to store" which in retrospect was a big mistake. It took over ten days until it came in and then when I finally came to pick it up I had to wait about 20 min until someone was able to get it for me. To pick up online orders you have to go to the back and wait until someone will show up. Walmart employees are known for their lack of motivation and this one was no different. He was not very helpful and it took him a while to locate the order and process the paperwork. Since I was already there I then decided to look around and see if there is anything else I need. The store is very unorganized and even dirty. They seem to be out of stock on many items since many shelves are empty. And the rest are just messy. Overall it was a good reminder why I don't like Walmart and I don't plan to cone back any time soon. It can probably find the same things in Target or even on Amazon. read more

The person below who wrote about the rude Indian man who works at Walmart - he might be recent as I haven't seen him in the past few years that I've been a frequent customer - is on point with the description. I made a note to keep track of his name - Dilip - and he is rude. I would not at all be surprised if he harassed the customer who wrote the comment about him. I would've raised hell and filed a formal complaint or hell- I would've wished law enforcement was around to see him harass so he could take his butt to jail. It's ridiculous. Walmart, we realize not to expect glorious customer service but anyone who is this rude and who calls customers stupid or mutters things under his breath is EXTREMELY out of line. I've made it a point to avoid his lines. He is a rude middle aged man. And they say menopausal woman have mood swings. Hell, this Dilip guy shows that he's having hell of a mood swing constantly. It's crazy. I'm going to file a formal complaint when I go back because this is so out of line. read more

I wish they had a negative star because 1 star is way too good for this store I came into this walmart location on sunday. I used self check out and one of my items didn't have a price tag. I tried using the look up option on the screen but the lady said what are you trying to do that is only for groceries. I told her my item didn't have the tag and I couldn't remember the price. He grabbed my item and asked me to go back and get another one I asked her if she can call an associate to get the price. She said no and walked away.mind you there was an associate who was passing by. I then grabbed a manager who's named pesha and told her of the situation she said oh she is not allowed to leave this area I said that's fine but she could of had another associate check and pesha said yea she could have I will have a talk with her and she walked away. Rude employees will never be shopping at this location again. read more

Horrible customer service !! Didn't help us at all. Trying to return a cell phone that we didn't like . We had trouble purchasing it so they got a manager approval to purchase the item. Then turns out the phone wasn't what we expected, so tried to return it and they wouldn't allow it ! What kind of BS is that ??? You sell us a product that isn't in ur system, and then it's our fault that we can't return it , because your dumbass managers don't know how to do there jobs !! Never been so disappointment in a retail store before !! Then you get this assistant manager who keeps saying she's a cashier and she knows what's going on, well Bitch, I'm a cashier, also Working with a corporate company. So i think I know what the hell is going on !! Soooo disappointed with the store . Not shopping there anymore . read more

Argh! Ok, in the interset of full disclosure I HATE Walmart's business practices so I avoid shopping there whenever possible. I am also a toy collector and unfortunately WalMart occasionally gets exclusives that I'd like to add so I grit my teeth and give them my money. A slave to my hobby indeed. This Walmart it seems DOES NOT PARTICIPATE in company wide exclusives. The last several times I've been told outright "yeh, we didn't order any of those"...seriously? Why go after companies like Hasbro and Mattel for exclusives if your stores are just going to pass. Seems like its worse to drive a customer into your store to be dissapointed than not have him come in at all. Perfect example...doing it this way made me want to tell freinds and write a review. read more

Feels weird when I see an old women that works there near the toys and fishing department kept following me around spying on me and nearly crashing into me twice. So I continue to browse around in her department just to see if I wasn't tripping but sure enough. Just like fly on poop. She's swarms all around me but no one else. What does she thinks? I'm not a thief but, that's way awkward. Do I look like a piece of turd? Are you hungry? Do I look like I'm homeless? What's messed up is that I'm wearing my work clothes. Don't u guys have cameras to do the spying? I have plans for u next time. That awkward feeling u put me thru. Imma do that right back. It's gonna be fun. read more

Today at 730p I pulled up by the tire and lube center and it was clear that they were closing and did not need to take care of another customer because the shop was closed and they were just cleaning. I asked if they would put wiper blades on my car and they said sure you got them I said no I need to run in an purchase they pointed to the door and said c'mon in. I ran in received great service from the lady at the counter. Went out and my old blades were removed handed them the new ones and before I loaded my daughter in the car they were done. Thanks for great service and helping me make my vehicle safer. read more

This is place is awful. I went here with my son the other day. Not only was the staff rude after my son asked if they had a video game in stock, but the lines are horrific. Back in the electronics section there were at least 4 employees just standing around talking. Up front at the check out counter of the store were HUGE lines to get out of this place. We stood in line for over 20 minutes to purchase a couple items. You're telling me a few of those lazy employees in the back couldn't run a cash register up front and open a few more lanes? read more

What a load of garbage. I wanted to buy a frickin digital camera, but these clowns don't have a key to the electronics cases. "He went home" was the response to my question regarding the keeper of the keys. You'll be hardpressed to find an intelligent person over the age of 18 working retail/fast food...this wal-mart is striving to keep that a fact. They've assembled a healthy group of middle aged jokes. At least target hires young hot dipshits. Save yourself a trip, this place is pathetic. Go online, amazon knows what they're doing. read more

This place is so ridiculous its crazy. Every time I walk through the building there's a new problem. The cash register is my enemy and greatest fear. Last time I went in I bought an optical mouse for my mom for christmas and a DVD for my sister. I went through the register and got to the doors where the woman stopped me and told me that I had been charged twice for the DVD and zero times for the mouse. Really? I had to wait for 30 minutes to get the whole thing sorted out and the guy who did it barely said sorry. read more

Sorry too much for a single star. This is as if franchise walmart has no principle, it is controlled by managers who are far from customer service. Worst behavior and rudeness and dont care policy. Request to walmart customer relationship - Please change managers here. Otherwise this store will never come up. Walmart has a reputed name and manager and few customer service people are the key to stores which they are not doing their job. They are spoiling your business in this location. read more

Every time I go to Walmart I come away angry. The store is a mess, the check out people act as if there is nothing in the world that can make them move fast, There are always at least ten people in each line and no one thinks we have anything better to do than wait. Half the time the things I go in for are out of stock or aren't carried any longer. Each time I go I promise myself I will not return. maybe this time I will keep the promise. read more

Horrific customer service department. Waited over 45 minutes to even exchange a television that was defective (yes, I said 45 minutes for an even exchange), and the very snotty CS rep Tiffany was rude, mouthy and just down right nasty. Went to Wal-mart and I couldn't be more disappointed with the way that store is going...I was trying to get some marlboros and the employee in question asked for my ID!!! HELLO: You only need to be 18 for a pack of some cigarettes! I hate this place. I tried it a few times before, hoping to find some good deals, but it is always crowded, messy, unorganized and just not a pleasant place to be in. Prices are obviously attractive since this is Walmart but the quality is sub par. I would prefer to pay some more and get high quality products from Costco. Even Target provides a better shopping experience. read more
