My husband and I on average make a trip to Walmart every couple of weeks. We generally go there to stock up on household items so we are never left without. This particular store is well kept and well stocked. I appreciate the friendly cashiers and staff. I love the low competitive prices and that is what keeps me coming back for more. The other day my brother needed something from the bike section. And everything is locked up so we needed help from a worker. When we told one she send us to go ask the car center because they had the keys and they said to go find a worker near the bike section because they had the keys. Walmart is only contributing to filling the land fill for providing cheap crap that breaks, falls apart, or stops working very soon after purchase made in China. Their 'remodel" of the Livermore store is a prime example of what NOT to do in retail staging. But they don't care, they are Walmart, so when have they ever given a damn? I no longer will go there, I wasted so much time in there looking for what I needed, and when I found a dragonfly stamp hanging in some lawn and garden supply section, and it was meant to be there, too-I just said, "this is assenine and a complete waste of my time". I have never looked back. On the otherhand, this is difficult to believe, that a year ago I purchased two fruit trees for my yard and I kid you not-they are actually thriving and producing fruit. First of all, the multi cultural tall guy I think he's a manager of some sort needs a raise. He doesn't take his job personal, he's super patient, and goes above and beyond for his customers. I watched him with his team and they seem to love him. I love that! He's tall, slim build, about 6ft maybe. He's know all the updates within the company, and enforces their policies. Not to mention the store is very well stocked. I may look a little cluttered in some areas and that's because they continuously condense to have space for new things. This is location is just like any typical Walmart - cheap & busy. I frequent this Walmart during opening hours (7am) & lunch hours. It isn't usually over crowded and the check out line moves quickly at the garden center so long as there are two cashiers. I was disappointed to see that they removed 2 registers in the garden center, leaving only 2 registers to pay at. Armando & Corrie are very customer service-oriented, friendly, & fast at the register. Taly & Judy are very helpful when I need help finding specific items. They are all excellent people! Of course, you will find the best prices for your regularly purchased items here such as food, pet supplies, cosmetics, hygienics, office/school supplies, automotive supplies, etc. I recommend entering at the garden center if it's open if you are buying fewer items. If you have a full cart it is faster & more courteous to checkout at the mail entrance. read more

It was refreshing to get a quick tire rotation without being bombarded with up-sale pitches like Pleasanton Walmart. We were greeted warmly by Dawn, Art, and Brian. Our tires were rotated, out the door in less than an hour. They honored our prepaid lifetime rotation that we bought from Pleasanton while Pleasanton Walmart didn't do after we waited 4 hours there in the morning. read more

Honestly. I'm not a huge fan of superstores, nor am I fan of underpaid hard working employees. But I came in here looking for a product, and Nancy was such an Amazing help for me. She was so patient and Helping for everyone that passed by. One customer after the other, and Actually had a line waiting for her. Why do I find myself at Walmart whenever I need a few inexpensive odds and ends? Probably because they are more expensive at Amazon. This place isn't too bad as far as a Walmart. It is clean, not too crowded, and has a reasonable selection of merchandise. Despite having lots of stuff, I always manage to leave without at least one thing I was looking for. Sometimes it could be that I missed it, but other times I know they just don't have what I'm looking for. Because of this, any trip takes twice as long as it should as I wander the aisles. This particular Walmart matched my previous experiences in that I tried to find stuff I thought should be there but was nowhere to be found. For example, a slip or office supplies. Good good luck finding anybody to help you find anything though. read more

Walmart should be consistent with checking customer receipts by the exit. They should tell their employees if they're going to check receipts by the exit then should check all the customers receipts not just randomly pick people. I was just there at around 1:40pm went straight to the self check out cause they only had 2 cashiers open. As i was walking out, this female employee with the stripes long sleeves stopped me and asked for my receipt. At first i didnt had a problem showing my receipt but i got my hands full holding all the stuffs that i bought. i was struggling holding the stuffs while i was trying to get my receipt in my purse. She just stood there waiting and i saw the other customers just passed by & walked out and she didnt even bothered to check their receipts. Seriously?! i told why she didnt even stopped the other customers for their receipts. she answered "cause i was waiting for you." why did she stopped me and not other customers... what?! is it thr color of my skin and she thought i stole something... Livermore's only Wal-Mart, until you go to Pleasanton. Parking lot is tight and crowded. Lines and the wait at checkout is manageable except at the last hours of Christmas. You may check out at Jewelry if you have 10 or 12 items or less depending who is staffed at the time. The location allows peddlers maintaining stations at the exits. Oil change service on site. Fast, friendly, inexpensive and offers Mobile 1. Subway sandwiches is the food vendor of choice here. Tip: Prices at Home Depot next door is often less expensive than same items in Wal-Mart. Review prices there first. Why come here? Convenient location for Livermore residents. Near interstate. Near Home Depot and many restaurants. read more

The Walmart here is pretty disappointing. The quality of the merchandise is quite poor, the store always looks grungy, and the people who work here just don't seem very happy. It's a very depressing place, and the prices aren't much better than Target. I try to avoid coming here unless there's something I absolutely need. Also, I don't know what it is about Walmart's clothes, but the stitching just doesn't sit normally on curvy women. Or even women who are skinny but who have curves. Unless you're willing to take out hems and such, I don't recommend buying clothes here. They do NOT look good on anyone. read more

Don't expect much from Walmart. Bathroom was a mess. And there was an item for 24.94. But when scanned upfront it was 29.99. I showed the item and there it was 24.94 and the employee says it was in the wrong spot. Which was wrong. The price was on the display itself. So instead of honoring the price that Walmart employees mess up on she didn't let it go for the right price. She was also rude about the situation. I will def make a corporate complain. I went to return some Pokémon cards that I bought the day before and when I got home they had been opened by someone and they took all the good cards out .. well when I walked into Walmart to return them to go buy ones that were not tampered with George was called up and told me right of the bat he would not return them because I did it .. he really put the blame on me the customer even when the lady there said she saw me buy them yesterday .. he basically told me I went home opened them all up took the good cards and then brought them back.. I used to go there, but I discovered that it is cheaper, because it is often of lower quality than say Target. The place is a bit depressing I must add. I still go there though for certain things, because they do sometimes have more variety than Target; such as kitchen small appliances, arts and crafts, etc. One highlight of this place is their fish tanks. Not because the poor fish looks healthy or is in good shape at all, but because my little girl does enjoy seeing the fish. read more

I always prefer buying over the counter medicines at this store. Very neatly organized and the girl kinnera is very helpful at all times even she is busy with her work. You need to stop pulling all of the pallets into the aisles starting at 8pm. You are creating a hazardous situation for people shopping there and it's unnecessary as you are open until midnight. Until 10 there should be 1 pallet at a time per stocker, no more blocking every aisle with pallets. We can't get to merchandise and if there was an emergency, we'd be trapped trying to get out. Walmart is the absolutely lamest store with the worst customer service ever! I have been trying to find out if it is possible to get a replacement ignitor switch for my gas grill, which was purchased at Walmart. I called the customer service number listed on the grill and was told they did not deal with anything to do with grills. They gave me another number, which I called and was told the same thing as the first number. I was given a third number reached a recorded message saying that they were closed. What retail customer service closes before 12:45 pm Pacific time, 3:45 Eastern time? Completely unexceptable and ridiculous! I tried to call my local Walmart in Livermore, but after listening to the phone ring for more than 10 minutes, the call disconnected. I tried 1 last time and once again, the phone rang and rang and rang and then disconnected. I will Never shop at a Walmart again! read more

Hit or miss place. Sometimes the cashiers are quick and friendly, sometimes not.. sometimes the store is clean and organized and other times.. it's well.. a disaster. Staff is never really helpful, I rarely ask for help but when I do, I find it difficult to get their attention. Nick is amazing though! I once purchased printer ink, I thought for sure I'd purchased the right kind only to find out it wasn't! I called the customer service and asked if there was any way I could return it but I'd be understanding if not. The man on the phone said "Sure! No problem!" I didn't catch his name. When I got there the woman behind the counter was extremely rude and condescending in telling me I couldn't return it. When I told her the gentleman on the phone said it was ok, I came right over, I wouldn't have wasted my time coming down if I couldn't. She rolled her eyes at me and called Nick over. The one star is for the auto department. They are always people there who are helpful. I take all my cars there for oil changes when I don't have time to do them myself. The rest of the store is a joke. I came in to buy my contact lenses and the eye department was late to open by 15 minutes. I was in a rush to get my contacts and leave so I waited and waited til it opened. Finally and disheveled woman came rushing up. She said she lost her ID card so she had to make a new one. I was already angry and asked to buy my contacts. She told me she couldn't sell then because she was not certified to. I was very angry because I wasted my time waiting only to find out no one on their staff could sell contacts. I asked the lady to call the Pleasanton location and she said that she could not because she doesn't know how to get their phone number. Terrible store with terrible management. Tried making a return, but according to the pink sign someone made the return center was closed. (Even though the store was open for 2 more hours). The manager stated I would have to come back tomorrow. It does not state that returns can only be made during certain hours on the receipt or anywhere on the return policy posted in store. Stores are required by law to provide their full return policy to their customers. Nowhere does it state in store, on the receipt, or online that you can only do a return during certain hours. read more

Christmas Eve. 2 last minutes photos I needed printed for a gift. I was rushing to make my holiday dinner on time, and as soon as I began selecting my photos, Alfonso, the department photo manager made himself available immediately. He could easily see I was in a rush and with just 2 photos he knew he could have me on my way in just 10 minutes! As the machines were unavailable to use for the quick print, he went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of completely. I will definitely be back, and with devoted employees like Alfonso, i will not be shopping anywhere else! read more

Today, I received a message on my Facebook messenger from the store manager, Daniel, informing me that my parents' checkbook was recovered from one of their shopping carts. Thank you to the good samaritan/Walmart employee who found it and turned it in. My parents are old school (obviously still writing checks at the supermarket), and don't utilize social media; except for my mother but she never checks her FB. I'm very impressed how Daniel went out of his way to try and contact my parents; even if that meant messaging me. If that's not great customer service, I don't know what is. Thank you very much. It's the cheap store. I never shopped at Wal Mart until we moved to LIvermore. The town with no stores, well hardily any or should I say Not Enough!!! So I go to Wal Mart for my horse feed which is cheap. At the feed store it's $14.oo a sack and at Wal Mart it's $9.00. What a deal. As I took on two old horses for my back 10 acres and the grass is gone and now they are happy with there sweet feed until the winter is over. Yes at Wal Mart you get good deals, so enjoy the shopping there! The LIvermore Wal Mart is not such a zoo as the one in Fremont is. Went once and never went back there. We definitely need more stores and perhaps a new shopping Malfeasance we don't have one! read more

Only one person - the tall gentleman understands the mobile express return system. If he's not there you'll end up with the other two ladies who have no clue how to handle returns using their mobile app. Instead they scold you for not standing in the long line with the rest of the people and they tell you that their machine is not working. It's very frustrating because the whole reason for the mobile express return it to slip the long and slow line. They need to train people better. read more

CONSUMER ALERT!!!! Certain ATM Cards Pin Code are now disabled or bypassed with the new Walmart ATM Terminals, allowing ATM card thieves to make unauthorized purchase up to $50 without knowing your pin number. Recently I notice at four different Northern California, Fremont, Livermore, Milpitas, when I went to the self service and swiped my card, the terminal would not allow me to enter my pin. Instead it completed the transaction without allowing me the opportunity to use my secure pin. After checking with the Walmart corporate customer service, I was told to check with my bank, because Walmart solicited financials to allow Walmart to process atm card transactions under $50 without using the pin. When I checked with my financial institution, they said that Walmart does this as an effort to speed up the checkout procedure while creating an excellent opportunity for atm thieves to perform unauthorized on my atm card. I was told that Walmart has little reason to be concerned about the potential theft/losses they customers could suffer having to repay the financial institutions due to their size. At no time has Walmart or my financial institution provided any public notice that they are doing this. The Walmart store employees are completely unaware. Be informed, check with your financial institution to see if they made a similar arrangement with Walmart. read more

I have been coming to this Walmart my entire life and I have normally had a pleasant shopping experience. All of my cars for the last ten years have had their oil changes at this walmart and I have had no complaints, this changed Saturday when I took my car for an oil change. I was arrived and was promised that my car would be done within an hour. I went to do my shopping and came back and my car was not even in line to be changed. ANOTHER hour went by before they were done with my car and the entire time the guy doing the oil change spent a lot of time talking. I don't mind it taking two hours if it HAS to but tell the truth to begin with don't give me a false estimate!! Very irritated with Walmart right now. read more

Then unfriendly rolled her eyes and said immediately to me that I could NOT return them. I asked why and she said because they are "non returnable; even in the unopen plastic sealed packaging that was never opened." So I asked to speak to a manager but another lady (not a manager...) arrived at the counter, ignored me as I tried to explain they were unopened and I'd be fine with a store credit and said NO; even after I showed them both the large signboard staying "Customer Satisfaction with the return policy. I asked if they knew the policy or ever read it but Diana just laughed saying "Nope, I don't have time!" I decided to look for the REAL Mgr. James; he listened and apologize then promptly returned it . Side note: The real store Manager James is very nice. Too bad his employees SUCK!! DIANA in Returns. Look for a job were they can hide you in the back out of customers contact and LEARN TO READ AND KNOW YOUR STORE POLICIES. Also to the FAKE WANNA-BE LADY WHO WISHES SHE WAS A MANAGER; STOP LYING.
