I've been coming to this Walmart since my youth and my parents used to take me here for essentials or we'd also come here just to browse sometimes, lol, what a place to window shop. My dad took me here to get his fishing license too iirc. I recall that you can get your fishing license at Rite Aid too, but alas that store bit the dust, RIP. Anyways I digressed. So this Walmart location is very old, but for the most part they've kept it up. There's been one big remodel with other updates over time. I don't come here as often anymore, since the Delta Shores Super Walmart is closer, but there are some things sold here much cheaper than elsewhere, and seriously Walmart has everything so if one location doesn't have this thing, another one would. Nowadays you can just look online for the inventory to find out which store has the item and then go there or order it online and pick up. So convenient. A friend clued me into some stuff on clearance so I came looking for them, but alas they were all gone, but instead I found other items in clearance, score! The store was plenty neat enough and pretty well organized throughout when I visited. Overall, it's a good store still. I just did self checkout and it was quick and smooth. I would not come here (esp by myself) at night as there's been incidents here and in the parking lot esp, but other than that this store is fine and I'm glad there are enough Walmarts around for convenient shopping. read more

I'll be honest, I don't go into Walmart too often. I love the convenience of a Walmart, and the frozen and refrigerated food options are always so good. I think I don't go into Walmart to save money because I'll just go crazy. Today I had to make a return. I've actually never been into this Walmart location before. I was pleasantly surprised with how well organized, clean (exception of the bathroom, it was so dirty and unkempt), and pretty empty it was. My mochi ice cream was missing a piece when it got to my house and it wasn't even the flavor I ordered. I ordered a light color foundation and they gave me mocha color, I asked for minced garlic gloves and they gave me whole ones, and then I wanted Twix and they gave me M&M peanuts. And don't even get me started on the milk they chose for me. They chose me one that expired the next day. It's a whole mess and they wanted me to go to the store to return all their mistakes for a refund. Store associates were always willing to assist me to find what I'm looking for. Over-the-counter medicine is found in both the pharmacy and personal care aisles. They locked all the stuff up and automotive in those aisles by paint and everywhere where all the tools and everything is and then they put signs that said press for service so you could unlock the stupid cabinet to just buy something. Then they put absolutely no call buttons on the five aisles on each side of it and no call button at the register and as we all know, their employees are never at that area so you can't even find anybody. Least favorite Walmart of the ones in Elk Grove. While centrally located just off highway 99 with Tesla and Electrifiy America chargers in the lot, this location suffers from heavy traffic and being older. Between the number of cars and just the general business of this area I am not a big fan and would rather go farther. Service is on par with other Walmarts generally but it can seem to get busier at times and the wait isn't great The Bruceville location is farther into EG much cleaner and quieter. I actually wanted to leave a review on Walmart, but I threw my receipt away by accident. Therefore, I decided to leave one on YELP, because of my experience at the store today 9/25/25. I took a friend of mine to the store, and while I was there decided to pick up a few items myself. While checking out I went to one register and my friend went to another one. I went to register #5 and the cashier's name was Jalon or Jalen who was very friendly, greeted me with a wonderful smile, very polite and customer focused. I was very impressed with his quality of service. I turned to see if my friend was done, she was at the register next to where I was. However, some of her items rang up higher than what she expected. Siro her cashier called for a price check. I asked if she wanted me to go and take a picture of where the items were, and said the manager was going to check it out. When the manager Maria came to her register she was accompanied by another employee Tabitha and both were very pleasant. Maria explained that some of the items that my friend had were marked down and they had different colors to show the difference. Once it was determined which items were marked down Siro rerang the order my friend was pleased. Great customer service, especially when the manager literally takes the time to help her employees. WORST WALMART EVER!!! i made a drive up order for some cleaning products and the employees were negligent about examining the products before putting them in my car. the bleach i had ordered had a loose cap and spilled all over my car and sweater (worth over $100). when i called the store they made me wait over an hour to only offer me a refund of the bleach cleaner (worth $3) and a $10 discount on a $15 or more purchase that would expire in 3 months. This Walmart location is one that I would definitely return to. I mean it is definitely not the best. But it's definitely not the worst either. Typically the first thing that is important to me at a Walmart is does the staff that is at the front door greet you with a smile. I mean specifically because it is the holiday season it always makes things a little bit brighter when you walk into a department store and all of the staff are smiling and greet you with a very warm demeanor. It makes it feel like it is the holiday season. I mean obviously they do not have to. They are human than they can do anything that they want. But if they want to give the customers a really good experience this is something that people can enjoy The bathroom status Walmart are very clean as well. We enjoy going to Walmart because of the location and competitive prices elsewhere. One thing I've noticed that this location has a lot to offer from all sorts of items to choose from. One thing that stood out to me we the unfair treatment of supervisor to staff that they were discussing things in front of the customer without any remorse of the staff's privacy from their schedule. The main reason why I'm giving this location one star is because of the manager on duty Keith that didn't bother helping to look for more inventory even if I asked if they have a hand held device that can easy do that by scanning the barcode of the item and arrogantly responded "no we don't have that item nor have any device that can further assist me. Keith was also being rude to the other customer that was trying to help get his attention and staff seemed very uncomfortable calling him out to the register I was in as if there's no overhead paging system to get anyone manager or supervisor's attention. I don't think I'll be coming back here again or maybe by then Keith will no longer work there. read more

Walmart has the best prices of grocery stores in the area because there are hardly any grocery stores in the area that have to serve about 10 new communities out on the Bradshaw and Florin area. However, the issue that I have is that every time - and I've been counting - that I go in person to get an item needed at the last minute, I get behind a person that either has five transactions they're trying to do, or I get somebody that has a card that's not working, etc. etc. Iy Seems I can never go in there without encountering some kind of issue in line that causes about a 10 to 15 minute delay. However, when I try to talk to the clerk about an idea of possibly referring these waiting customers to another line that could help us quicker, they simply rudely tell me that there are other lines I could go into if I don't like the wait. I tried appealing to customer service supervisor about it and he said he's never heard of such a thing which I know is an absolute lie. This is the most horrible Walmart to go in and try to get out in a reasonable amount of time. They should certainly try to improve their customer service with their clerks and their wait time and delays. I'm honestly beginning to think that the only thing that Walmart has going for it is inexpensive prices and that's about it because their customer service is sorely lacking. I have been a Walmart shopper for years. I was in the area and decided to stop here versus driving to my normal location on Gerber. My daughter and I did some shopping and checked out with a cashier, paying by Walmart pay. As a courtesy, I always show my phone to reflect that I did pay to whomever is at the exit. Well, this night (last Friday), I was stopped, asked what register I was on, and watched the lady go over to the cashier to confirm that I did, in fact, pay. She came back to me and I asked if there was a problem? She told me that because she didn't see my receipt, she had to check. I then stated that if she wanted to see the receipt, I would have switched to the receipt on my phone, as I showed her the confirmation of my payment. She said something about people stealing. Ummmm, I just spent over $200 in here, but my basket don't look like it, and I have no reason to steal! Yes, this really happened, and I was, and still am, EXTREMELY UPSET by this.
